#Oreca Monster Guide

As I said few days ago, I wanted to make charts(?) on how to get some of the angels that are available on the EN version of Oreca Battle And finally after a long time, I finally did it-

On this post, are few step-by-step on getting Uriel from 2★ to 4★, along with Michael, Dynamis, Apollo, and Gabriel

Why am I not including Raphael? Well... no reason really- Just didn't think I need to- If you think otherwise, just send me an ask to add them lmao-

The items needed to evolve Michael are actually pretty easy to get, especially if you meet 4★ Michael the Angel as a boss monster

Why? Because Michael (BOSS) is already accompanied by Gabriel and Raphael, and all of their item drop are not rare, so you should be able to get them whether you win or lose That way, you can get God Circle, Raphael's Feather, and Gabriel's Feather in one fell swoop

Me personally tho, I'm not aiming for Uriel or Michael, I'm only trying to get Dynamis- That's why I kinda having a hard time lmaoo-

The only reason why I'm having a hard time with Dynamis, because I'm trying to get him through combining instead of trying to get his encounter

I mean, look- Dynamis's encounter are rare, and I have taste it myself how it feels trying to get rare encounter with Pyramid Head- My confidence is not high, and I'm just doubtful with my luck for rare encounters-

Thankfully, levels are not problem here Just... the amount of battles I will need to do-

Heya, sorry for bothering you. I just curious about how to looking for a Oreca Battle or Oren related stuff, like comic or guide. Also do you have any tips about those two games?

Hello there newcomer!

You're just in time, currently they have uploaded all 5 Oreca Battle Manga Titles (Including the spin-off) on CoroCoro (Japanese only), some episode are free to read but you also need to use points to read some chapter, I highly recommend you to create a CoroCoro account because it'll give you 1000 Points for free (you can also get points by login to CoroCoro Everyday)

Unfortunately, all of the last chapter/episodes of each manga are locked behind paywall and not points/Free.

One thing to keep in mind is that the manga storyline are different than the one in the arcade version (in which I personally considered the arcade as the true story), while the spin-off are non-canon

Char/Charles is definitely not named after Charles de Batz de Castelmore, also known as Count d'Artagnan. do not think about the other Oreca guy who is technically also named after this Count.

Arakishu (阿刺吉酒) is an archaic name for shochu from the Edo period. the name is thought to come from "arak", Arabic for "perspiration", which itself is the name for distilled spirits in many Middle Eastern countries.

no, i did not misspell "sandstorm" when writing out the name of Akishu's EX move. "Sandström" (サンドストロム) is a Swedish last name that means "sand stream".

i like the devilish jester design and think it looks very amusing. to me, they talk like a game show host, which i guess kind of matches with how Saqqara and DJ/Ancient Minister Hop also talk very dramatically. at 8:38 Arina says that Mephisto is "different from the other Oremons up until now" but explaining just how is "for next time". kinda interesting that compared to the other Oremons, Mephisto is not an harmless, kind-hearted little mascot. Zenogon and Achelon help others through the goodness in their hearts, but Mephisto doesnt seem to be like that.

now that there are at least three demon kings in OB2, you start to see they have certain things in common:

the alcoholic drinks they are named after are distilled spirits or contain distilled spirits (whiskey, sherry, shochu)

they are dragon people

they all wear the same kind of purple gem on their bodies

i think the purple gems could end up being more relevant in the manga story. the Dark Crystals haven't been shown in color yet, but they could be purple because that's an easy way to show something is evil. and then maybe the purple gems are how the demon kings are able to make Dark Crystals and trap people in them.

But the only thing I hate about the Japanese wiki is that it literally have 18+ ads slapping into our face (I could use an adblocker but still...)

And the sad part is that the english Oreca guide website made by Hobbykita.com is unavailable for years.

Someone asked on how to get Culann in the comment section of my video Since Culann is pretty complex to get and I'm afraid if only telling it through text might not get the step-by step clear, I thought of making this list(?) instead!

Another chart(?)/ step-by-step guide on getting monster(s) from Oreca Battle, this time featuring Sariel and Lucifer~

Don't be deceived by how seemingly short and simple the steps to obtain Sariel and Lucifer here, their items are actually pretty tedious to get-

I personally have been aiming to get Lucifer for a long time, so I have all of their items ready on hand~

I just need to get that damn key from Dante for Sariel- Currently levelling up 4★ Holy Knight CuChulainn, so I could get the key via guaranteed encounter and drop

But with Lucifer? I still need to go on training montage with Sariel for now- Sariel in my team is currently level 4 tho, so we still have a long time to go-

Hello! Sorry for bragging in. I just started playing oreca battle. But it seems kinda complicated to me to understand it. Do you have some guide? Like, how to getting an items, the evolution guide, etc. I have been obsess with this arcade lately ><

Hello as well! Oreca is pretty complex after all, so it's normal to get confused at first!

I usually went to use the Japanese fanwiki because of how detailed the information they have

There will be some issue with monsters and items names tho, because the auto-translate and the localized name tend to be very different, and there are also 0 image in this fanwiki as well There is also an issue with the ads that shows up in this website as well, which are nsfw in nature-

If there is a specific monsters you want to meet or get, it's okay to ask other players as well! There is a FB group and Discord server where a lot of veteran Oreca Battle players usually goes online! Tho for that one, it's better to ask help from @/oreca-iroha or @/pirate-fan-rachelle because I am not very active on either the server or the group (^^;;

Lmaoo, that Kurt attack with Chance Strike doodle that ended up on losing- I haven't met him yet, but he looks like he means well even though clumsy on using his sword properly and left to good chance on dealing high damage XD

Thanks for pointing me on the JP fanwiki a lot, there's a lot to find out and I learned new stuff with each time I read the long texts one at a time. And yikes, it's gonna end up becoming a document or two if printed out to read by paper and not website, at least half jokingly speaking- By the way, how did you find the images for each monsters in your posts? And got the feeling that this Dark Matter stuff is way too dangerous for anyone to have, but uhh... what is it really?

That one is actually the second time I encountered him- The first time, it was with 3★ Hero Kurt, and Burn one-hit KO'd him easily-

But the second time? Kurt is the one who wiped the floor with us- And with his 2★ form nontheless, it's insane-

And yes, the info from the JP Fanwiki are very extensive! They put so many information from so many sources that are otherwise hard and almost impossible to access anymore (ex. some printed books like the collection guide, text from in-game's limited time events, etc.)

Heck, they even write down some machine trivia, advices, and some of the JP fandom's vocabulary/inside jokes with explanations!

For the images for the monsters, I usually just use the pics from Konami's official website for Oreca Battle-

And for Dark Matter... I have no clear idea on what it actually is- I only know that it grants immense power to those who are willing to pay/sacrifice anything to the force of darkness

In Demizu Posuka's manga, the one who gives out these Dark Matter are from the Demon tribe (eg. Demon King Mus [gave one to Dante in Ch. 2], and Demon Emperor Laphroaig [forced gave one to Culann in Ch. 5])

Which... kind of make sense because of Dark Matter's properties of corrupting the wearer and such, and their ambition on taking over the kingdom (or maybe even the world?)

But in-game, the one who gives these Dark Matter are the ones who have been corrupted by the power of darkness instead (eg. Dark Warrior Tanta, Inferno Knight Burn, and Dark Armor Knight Culann)

One might interpret it as a way to spread Dark Matter corruption and the force of darkness to those who are deemed worthy? Not sure, tbh-

Personal Interpretation of What Are We as an Oreca Battler/Knight/Master in Oreca World

This interpretation is being written by someone who have only played Oreca Battle at the arcade for 5 months, watch the anime, read just a few available chapters of the manga (using auto-translator nonetheless-), and reading other fans interpretation

Sorry for the messiness!

In my own personal interpretation, we as an Oreca Battler / Knight / Master, are like the magical 3rd party who knows the Oreca’s world residents’s fate

Just by playing the game (at the arcade or on the app), we are already given the opportunity to take a glance of what this world is like

But we can’t really play around with their fate What we can do is only to guide them to the path that is already determined for them

Example: (This also include a headcanon of mine regarding CuChulain & Tanta, sorry about that-)

Warrior Tanta, the knight of the kingdom (to avoid misspelling, I won’t try to write the kingdom’s name-) have 3 line of evolution that hold the most resemblance to his 2* form, those evolution are

- White Knight CuChulain

A path for Tanta if he decided to stay at the kingdom and never went on a journey

- Dark Warrior Tanta / Black Knight GeBulg

A path that Tanta might took if he let himself swallowed by the power of darkness

- Hero Tanta

A path that is opened if Tanta decided to go on a journey to be a hero, just as Balt advised him to

These 3 lines of evolutions are also what makes me think that we as a battler have some kind of special power(?) in our hand (and by the help of Pandora)

As a battler, we have the power to let certain possibilities to take shape, and even make the past and the future cross paths!

But their past and future are already determined by the world of Oreca, so what we can do are only directing a monster toward one of those path

Just like how we can let Heavy Armor Knight Culann be on the same team as Hero Tanta (cross path example), but we can’t change the future where Culann will be swallowed by Dark Matter and become Dark Armor Knight Culann (pre-determined future example)

So, my conclusion is, We as a battler, and Oreca Battle gameplay (arcade and app alike), are like somekind of crossing paths where possibilities from the past and future of Oreca world can meet

And I would like to interpret this as, We, or atleast our contract (cards) with the Oreca monsters/denizens are like a resting area for them  A resting place to stop for while, considering the path of their future or being able to either go to places or meet someone in the past

And considering how in the anime some Oreca monster can summon themselves into the real world (Yes, I am looking at you two, Flow and Tanta-),

I would like to think that by making a contract (cards) with us, we also help them to take their mind off from their determined future for awhile and rest their selves

Or even help them get stronger to get closer to that future we are guiding them to!

TLDR: Our ability as battler is to help the Oreca monsters to guide them toward their pre-determined path from the looking glass (arcade machine and the app)

Or whichever you are comfortable with calling her (plus definitely got those from the translation of her character preview in OrecaTV)

I may be non-muslim(From Philippines) but goodness I can feel that name being forbidden to say out loud or even type it down according to you and rachelle and therefore yeah definitely will stick with this censorship name

plus I gotta give respect and understanding that y'all are weirded by the name especially to you my Muslim mutuals and friends, I definitely don't want y'all getting uncomfortable too

Red Jester sounds pretty good! There is another line of monsters who have Jester in their name from OB1 but well, since they're from chapters that were not localized... why not-

To me it was more of a bizarrement(?) and feeling weird with the jester's supposed name cuz... well, it feels inappropriate- But yea, I can see how most muslim people will find this unnerving or concerning- Especially parents, my god- This game is for all ages, gosh-

I really do hope if Oreca Battle 2 ever go international, the localization team will do their job for this jester-

Like, They did a pretty well done job for Ballis's name, and they did some censor/adjustment for Red Princess and Zhu Bajie- Fanwiki also said there's changes for Nezha as well, but I don't see it???
