THEME SUBMISSIONS [CLOSED]

Hey Gremlin's and Ghouls... as promised here is your official chance to submit any spooky themes that you want to see this year! Remember, this is no small feat, for you are to decide the course of 2021 Horror Week!

Below you’ll find the link to this year’s survey for our annual horror week!

Here are our guidelines:

1.) Please be creative: While we enjoy prompts such as soulmates and coffee shop au’s there is something to be said about the amount that are out there! Horror week is a chance to get creepy and freaky. We’re looking for stuff a little on the darker side. That being said, when submitting prompts please don’t use one word phrases like: Witches & Werewolves. Give us a little spice!

2.) Nothing too gory: We promise we’re not contradicting here. We’re looking for prompts that terrify and excite, not something that will make you sick to your stomach. While shock factor is something used in Horror since the beginning of time, it’s not necessarily what we’re searching for.

3.) Credit the creators:  You’re more than welcome to suggest prompts that you find on tumblr or any other site, just make sure you credit them within the submission so the admins know who to cite at the end of the day.

4.) No apocalypse/ Pandemic Au’s: Alright, so this is a fairly new rule. But we wont be accepting anything remotely related to the pandemic. This has continued (Expectantly, and unexpectant) through 2021. We want to stay away from that touchy subject... but if your prompt is good enough, we may make an exception!

Day threeeee and we’re at haunted honeymoon for this day of Horror Week, I am aware that these oneshots are stupid long jdsfghjkfdhg I have no idea why I can’t just write something short and sweet but here we are 😅 anyway, I hope you enjoy this one, I was hoping it’d be a bit lighter than the last two, things have been a little heavy haven’t they??? Jeez… but this one actually made me cry whilst writing it so...

Summary:

Shaken by the photo she found, Beca seeks out an expert about the Belle.

Beca and Chloe enjoy a movie night. It's a perfect night, until…

The Halloween Bash is the next day. Beca, and possibly the Belle, are running out of time.

Beca knew she was tempting fate by entering the building her father taught in, but he did help her get the meeting with Professor Beltran. The freshman desperately needed to speak with the professor.

The DJ was apprehensive about what she would say to the professor. How much information was she comfortable revealing. Not much, was her initial thought. There was a good chance Chloe was not the Belle, and Beca knew how guilty she would feel for starting an unsubstantiated rumor. After considering what her father had told her about the professor, Beca was confident that Professor Beltran would exercise discretion with any information the brunette shared with her.

Ugh I swear I am trying to make these lighter sdklfghfdlg I did not plan to go into this volume so heavily bloody hell... anyway, in the vain attempt to go for the lighter campier vibe again, here’s day four of Horror Week! Urban exploration and the reappearance of Ellie who might be my one of my favourite OCs for this au I’m not gonna lie 😅 anyway, enjoy I hope as I cling desperately to the idea that this one will be a bit perkier than the rest jhgsdfjkd

I am so excited to be writing Volume #2 at long last, I’m so delighted to have you all to see what I have planned this time around!! But first, the Horror Week prompts, and day one is cults! I am so sorry this is 2 days late dsghjdkfgd having the flu last week really put a kink in my writing schedule and I’ve just really struggled with getting everything done on time 😅 but I will get you day 7 by the end of next week, I’ve got some uni stuff to do so it’s getting pushed back even further, but it’s also reading week so I have all the time in the world to do it once my assessment’s in! Thank you for your patience guys, and the lovely things you’re always saying about this series, it really means a lot 🥰

Summary: An old friend of Aubrey’s joins VHI for a mission, but will his personal vendetta put them all in danger? (Horror Week, Day 7 - The Devil You Know)

GOD this is so late sdjlfghjfdhgd but I managed it eventually!! Day 7 is finally here and I’ve been sat on this idea since the last volume so imagine how excited I was when this prompt worked for it! 

Just a note about the rest of this volume, I’m gonna try and get you guys a fic a month (except for either this month or next month depending on my schedule as there’s one more that needs writing before the Christmas special) at least until February when they’re likely to become multichapter fics and then we’ll see where we’re up to. 

Anyway yeah, I’m really sorry this is late, that flu really knocked it out of me and I’ve just been sooo tired lately, but I’m feeling better now so hopefully more fics will be coming soon sdlfhgjdf

Day two of Horror Week is family curse and I managed to combine this with a prompt I got from BechloeStaubreyFAN16 wayyy back in October of last year, so thank you for being so patient waiting for this one lkhglhdfsgfd I hope it’s something like what you wanted!! I am so soft for how lovely everyone has been about the start of Volume #2, honestly it means sooo much that you’ve been all as excited as I am about it coming back, I really have missed writing this little team and their adventures, even if things are currently wayyy heavier than I meant them to be...
