Blessed Care International Foundation, in collaboration with the Bekwai Health Directorate, conducted a program at St. Joseph Senior High Technical School in Ahweren, Bekwai Municipal, educating girls on menstrual hygiene. They also generously donated sanitary pads to support the students, aiming to remove the stigma surrounding menstruation and ensure girls can attend school regularly without being held back by their menstrual cycle. This initiative highlights the ongoing struggles many females face globally, including access to sanitary products, safe hygiene spaces, and the right to manage their menstrual cycle without shame or stigma.https://paystack.com/pay/gwrh1d5pk3 #MenstrualHygiene

Okay so quick on my lunch at work but still tryna keep my followers up to date update
I went to the hospital thanks to the letter from my doctor.
I posted about my shit on imgur and made it to the Front Page 2 times (#periodsupport)
I saw a lovely Senior Gyney who explained basically what has happened is (this was a long and full on appointment so this is how I remember what she said and I could be saying it wrong) getting my period so young has caused glands in my brain to send incorrect signals to my lady bits and it's a hard process to overcome with hormones.
She said the pill I was on was definitely what they recommend to girls with issues like me (Microgynon 50mg progesterone/estrogen mix), however she thinks the reason it used to be lighter bleeding now is that the estrogen isn't letting the progesterone in the pill and the mirena "dry me out" (her actual words) so my uterine lining is still too thick and because my brain sends the wrong signal it wants to try and shed all month long every month.
She's taking me off the pill, to put me on Primolut for 10 days (straight progesterone) to dry me out, and hopefully remove the supply of blood that will fall out of me. I also have to take 2x Tranexamic Acid tablets 4x a day for 4-10 days. This is a clotting pill to assist with stopping blood loss (I've tried it before, wasn't very successful but she said it should slow it down if nothing else). Lastly I have to take Ponstan, a NSAID medicine used for period pain and heavy bleeding. It should stop my swelling too.
Also if anyone has any similar issues, please feel free to message me. I'm always here to vent to or ask questions. I've been dealing with shit periods more than half my entire life now.
Okay so that was what I basically put on my imgur post. After 15 months of a period this was an attempt to stop bleeding.
After day 3 I had no blood. It was great! After 1 day of stopping all the pills I've been bleeding constantly! Worse than before!
But I'm supposed to be actually having periods now. I'm on day 5 of bleeding. It should stop in the next 5 days.
馃馃馃馃 fingers crossed okay love you bye I need to eat my lunch
