♡ Gojo, the last-minute genius. He does his assignments at the last possible second but still gets a perfect score. People have accused him of using black magic. He doesn’t deny it.

♡ Gojo, the overanalyzer. Someone calls him a know it all as a joke, and next thing they know, they’re stuck listening to a 30-minute breakdown of why intelligence is subjective and how human perception affects knowledge.

♡ Gojo, the human stopwatch. He calculates the exact time people take to do the most random things:

Shoko takes exactly 3.2 seconds to process a joke before laughing.

Suguru sniffs his food for 2.6 seconds before deciding if it’s poisoned.

His teacher blinks an average of 18 times per minute when lecturing.

♡ Gojo, the walking encyclopedia. He acts like he knows everything psychology, physics, chemistry, math. Whether he actually does or not is debatable, but he’ll never admit he’s wrong.

♡ Gojo, the insecure nerd. He nervously brought up Dungeons & Dragons, expecting you to be clueless. Instead, you knew everything. He had never felt average before.

♡ Gojo, the desk menace. He constantly poked you during class, hoping for any reaction. You just stared at him, unblinking, until he became flustered and left.

released on my birthday, 311023, FKA me (formerly known as me) is my debut studio album. the album blends R&B, alternative pop, and electronic influences and received generally favourable reviews from critics, who praised my openness and versatility. the album contains the singles NEW WOMAN, like SOOA and TALK.

that poll was fun! i haven't seen anyone take the national dex approach before. usually it's body shape, egg group, evolution, moveset, abilities, or method of obtaining. general trivia. national dex gets you to research. this adds a lot of new potential for iconic numbers! pointing out fun trivia connections like that is fun, and an out of the box approach! i wonder how many other connections you could make with that. here's one for you--Illumise, Croconaw, Wurmple. do you know what these pokemon have in common?

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I feel like the national dex number can be easily overlooked, especially now that we're at over 1000 pokemon. But since they're unique identifiers, outside of regional variants, they still lend to a lot of possibilities. Some Pokemon's dex numbers are pretty specific, like Pikachu (25) and Meowth (52) after all ^^

It’s Trivia Tidbit Tuesday!

In Episode 6 of The Animation, Minamimoto recites a mnemonic rhyme to remember the digits of pi. In the poem "Sir, I bear a rhyme excelling..." every word has the exact number of letters as a digit of pi!

To illustrate this visually: pi is 3.14159265358979[...] and each word in the poem has the exact number of letters as a digit of pi: Sir (3), I (1) bear (4) a (1) rhyme (5) excelling (9)... and so on!

Compared to the game, he simply recites all the numbers!

Bio: while Captain rank their unique clairvoyance and abilities to speak to those lost designated them to more of a prophet/seer role in their house this Captain is more then capable of fending for himself.

The house of loss was a small pacifistic house that logged and tracked the time in-between the life and death of the Eliksni that were lucky enough to make it to Sol, deeming those lost to Riis ascended.

It is rumored that what remained of the already dwindling numbers of this house were decimated in an indirect confrontation between a fireteam and another aggressive house, however this truth has been long buried and whether this was truly an accident or pointless slaughter remains within the unsettled mind of Val'lixis alone.

Risen as a scorn for an undocumented amount of time before purification this sole survivor struggles to survive outside of the seclusion of their once small world, and yet they recount their time amongst the dead almost fondly…

They are affected with a rabid impulse to ingest Ichor tainted ether resulting in several 'violent accidents' resulting in their nomad/loner status after rejection from many ketches.

They have resigned themselves to the life of a bounty hunter to make ends meet ..but the cry of those left behind still calls to them.

Temperament: They are surprisingly soft spoken and intelligent, clever however their Impatience and intolerance of company often gives mixed signal to those around them, they are often anxious and often jumpy, prone to the dark impulses to pillage battlefields for whispering bones to arrange..

They are technically leadership worthy but seek out those worthy to be a leader instead, they have a cult mentality and will easily fall prey to follower status.

Trivia: they have an aversion to gaurdians but seem very intrigued by Ikroa and her shadows.

They are surprisingly polite. They stash bones and waste hours sorting them, the ahamkara bones may be the root of what's fueling their mania episodes, they are obsessed with paranormal investigators and assume they can all talk to ghosts, despite their thrust for either they don't actually need it, they are lonely. They are perpetually mourning.

I ate beets.

Last night Sheila and I went to a dinner party. The restaurant had a chef's tasting menu. The theme of the event was the series The Office. There were eight courses, most paired with wine or cocktails.

The servers dressed like Dwight, in awful yellow dress shirts and wire-rimmed glasses. The manager (?) was in character as Michael Scott.

The private dining room was decorated with things from the show. There was Pam's sketch of the Dunder Mifflin building, a Dundies Award certificate, some of Jan's candles, packages of paper and so on. A TV behind the bar ran trivia and clips of The Office. Each table had the diners' names printed on an office name plate.

One of the early courses was "Schrute Farm's Salad." Yeah, that's where the beets were. I've never liked beets. One of the few foods that's been a hard no for me. But I tried them last night. First time in over 40 years. I did okay. No gagging or choking. It probably helped that I had the "Pears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica" cocktail paired with the beet salad. The salad portion wasn't huge so I finished it.

Another course was "Michael Eats a Whole Pot Pie." We were served whole pot pies -- in tiny cast iron skillets. (I actually own one of these tiny things.)

It wasn't inexpensive. That's why Sheila paid. It's easier for me to enjoy something if I don't know the cost at the time. She can enjoy anything regardless of cost.

We used Uber both ways. We've gone to tasting menu events before. When each food course is paired with a drink, even small drinks, we definitely will not drive.

Here’s a funny chapter of the fanfic I’ve been writing

Carat’s pov:

Math class at 8:00 a.m. should be illegal.

No, really. Who thought it was a good idea to make teenagers do algebra before they’ve had enough caffeine to form a full sentence?

I slouch into my seat, drop my water bottle, and nearly knock over Maysilee’s iced coffee in one uncoordinated movement.

“Smooth,” she whispers.

“I’m thriving,” I mutter back, dragging my notebook out like it’s a 50-pound brick.

Across the room, Silka and Panache are sitting way too upright for this early in the morning, passing a protein bar back and forth and giggling like evil twins in a YA novel. Urchin, Barba, and Maritte are nearby, and all of them look suspiciously awake and annoying.

Then Mr. Latier walks in.

“Good morning,” he says in the driest voice imaginable. “Today, we’re doing a Kahoot.”

Half the class perks up. The other half groans.

But from the back corner, a sudden and way-too-enthusiastic voice yells, “LET’S GOOOOO!”

It’s Panache.

Silka immediately throws her hand in the air. “YES! You already know it’s over for everyone else.”

They high-five like they just won an Olympic gold medal.

I glance at Maysilee. She glances at me.

We share a mutual “kill me” eye-roll.

“I will be assigning teams,” Mr. Latier continues, clearly regretting every choice that led him to this career path. “So no—Silka, Panache, you’re not on the same team.”

Panache dramatically clutches his chest. “What?! You’re separating greatness?”

“Silka without me is like peanut butter without jelly!” he protests.

Silka grins. “It’s okay, I’ll carry whichever team I get.”

She says it like it’s a fact.

And then, of course, Mr. Latier reads out the teams.

“Team One: Panache, Maritte, Barba, Ampert.”

Panache immediately fist-bumps Ampert like they’re going into battle.

“Team Two: Carat, Silka, Maysilee, and… Urchin.”

There’s a beat of silence.

Then Silka yells, “OH COME ON.”

Panache snorts. “Have fun with that.”

Silka glares at him. “I’ll still beat you.”

Meanwhile, Maysilee turns to me and whispers, “I can’t believe we’re about to be trapped in a Kahoot with her.”

“I already feel the brain cells leaving my body,” I whisper back.

The game starts.

And it’s chaos from the second the first question loads.

Silka immediately takes charge like she’s in a war zone.

“Who’s good at math?” she barks.

“Not me,” Urchin says while trying to find the answer button.

“I’m okay,” I offer.

Maysilee sighs. “I guess I’m decent.”

“Great. Math girls up front. Urchin—press whatever we yell out.”

“Got it.”

Silka’s energy is… intense. Like she’s coaching the Olympic volleyball team, not playing a trivia game about exponents.

Across the room, Panache is doing the most. He’s fist-pumping after every right answer and yelling things like “SCOREBOARD!” even though we’re literally still on question five.

“I hope his team loses by a landslide,” Maysilee mutters.

Silka scoffs. “He only knows three digits of pi.”

“Do you know more than that?” I ask.

“…No, but I look smarter when I say it with confidence.”

Somehow, despite the chaos, our team’s killing it.

The scoreboard flashes after every question, and we keep bouncing between 1st and 2nd place with Panache’s team. The tension builds. The insults escalate.

“You can’t spell failure without Panache,” Silka calls out.

“Good one,” I mumble. “Really top-tier material.”

“Oh please,” she says. “It’s early. My best roasts come out after lunch.”

Panache shouts back, “Your team only knows math because you keep dating calculators!”

Silka fake-gasps. “You take that back. I don’t date calculators.”

“You are a calculator!”

“Well, at least I’m not a human error message!”

Mr. Latier doesn’t even try to stop them. He’s just sitting at his desk, sipping his coffee with dead eyes like he’s transcended the need to care.

Then it’s the final question.

Winner takes all.

Panache’s team is barely ahead. If they get this last one right—they win.

I can feel Silka vibrating with rage next to me.

“No,” she says. “I am not letting him win. I refuse.”

The last question pops up.

Panache leans forward, finger poised dramatically over his mousepad.

And then—

Silka sprints across the room and slams Panache’s laptop shut with the force of a thousand volleyball spikes.

Panache screams. “SILKA!”

“I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO!” she yells, triumphant.

He yanks his laptop open, but it’s too late. The timer runs out.

The results flash on the screen:

1st Place: Silka, Carat, Maysilee, Urchin.

Our team erupts.

Maysilee starts clapping. Urchin high-fives me so hard I flinch. Silka literally throws her arms in the air like she just won a Nobel Prize.

Mr. Latier groans and rubs his temples. “Silka. You cannot assault another student’s Chromebook.”

“Technically, I assaulted the Chromebook itself,” she says sweetly.

He sighs. “Just sit down.”

Panache is livid.

“You cheated!” he cries.

Silka shrugs. “I won. That’s all history will remember.”

“You only won because you sabotaged me!”

“I prefer the term ‘strategically disrupted.’”

Maysilee’s laughing so hard she’s doubled over on the desk. Even Barba’s cracking up, and she was trying so hard to be serious.

Silka turns to us and throws both thumbs up. “That was legendary. You guys were amazing. Maysilee? Math queen. Urchin? Chaos master. Carat—brain and beauty. We crushed that.”

I blink. “Did you just compliment me?”

“Don’t get used to it.”

But she’s smiling. Real, cocky, charming.

And I… smile back.

And that’s when it hits me.

This girl—this obnoxious, dramatic, competitive hurricane of a person—I think I’m starting to like her.

Not just tolerate her. Not just hate her slightly less.

Like. Like her.

Other Businesses

The Flora and the Fae: a flower shop that also dabbles in making tea blends (mostly caffeine-free floral/herbal teas but also regular teas with caffeine). It's across the street from the Black Bird.

Flora and Fae is actually where most of the ocs that appear in the au work. Zera Cassia ( @lyranova's oc) is the main business owner. Briar ( @koneko-pi), Solara ( @thoughtfullyrainynightmare), and Josele (my own oc) are co-founders of the establishment.

Zen Dragon: a sushi bar and izakaya owned by Ryuuya Ryuudou. It's located in the busy Diamond District just like the Black Bird and the Flora and the Fae.

Elysia: a cafe owned by Licht and Lumiere (who is married to Secre in this au). It has a cozy, rustic atmosphere with a flower garden located behind the building, which patrons can admire up close. It's located away from most of the other businesses, being near the edge of Clover City.

Devil's Den: a bar owned by Dante Zogratis. He also uses the bar as a meeting place for mob activity. It too is in Diamond District but much further away.

As for Noelle...

Four-Leaf Academy

Asta was once part of the school's European Blade Sport Club. If he hadn't quit the club to make time for working at the Black Bird, he would've been the team captain.

Noelle is training to be a competitive swimmer. She frequently goes to Grand Times, a recreation center in Clover City, to train. She's currently living with her uncle, aunt, and cousin since her siblings have declined taking custody of her.

Yuno's plans after high school are leaving Clover City and studying history in college.

Mimosa is preparing to enter medical school and is a teacher's assistant.

Liebe won't be going to college but instead a trade school to be a mechanic.

Leopold has actually already graduated from Four-Leaf Academy.

Edward Avalache is the school's principal.

Four-Leaf Academy covers curriculum from 1st to 12th grade. However, only about 50% of students who graduate from Four-Leaf attend that school for 12 years straight.

Other Characters

Vanessa is an up-and-coming fashion designer competing against the likes of Nebra Silva. Before she had a big break, she designed the suits worn at the Black Bird.

Grey is the one to bring the designs to life. She also dabbles in make-up artistry and is the one to put together Vanessa's wardrobe for public appearances.

Charmy, as seen in a recent fic, is a food reviewer.

Charlotte is a stunt choreographer and performer, typically being called to stage live performances for stage productions but she also works in film too. She used to train at the same gym as Josele before they drifted apart.

Dorothy is a private investigator. Her current case is that of Acier's mysterious poisoning.

Mereoleona is a professional MMA fighter. Though she's being pulled away from sports temporarily to fill in for Fuegoleon at Vermillion Enterprises.

Nebra, as stated prior, is a fashion designer. She's made it much further in the industry than Vanessa thanks to being born with connections.

Solid is working a surprisingly humbler job as a programmer. He works with lots of complex code and the like.

Langris and Finesse are in the acting industry and waiting for Finral to reach out to them again.

Ciel is an interior designer for homes.

Loyce was the lieutenant governor of Clover City before his death.

Licita works as a simple house cleaner, doing her best to make ends meet for her boys.

Julius is a landlord and philanthropist beloved in Clover City. He's actually the building owner of the Black Bird Cafe.

OCs Present in the AU

There are a few ocs who are essentially locked presences in the AU.

There's Astrea/Lady Titania who works at the Black Bird.

Then there are the ladies from the Flora an the Fae (Zera, Josele, Briar, Solara).

Neva (another of Lyra's ocs) is a fellow student at Four-Leaf Academy. Presently, William is acting as her legal guardian.

And then there are a few who aren't locked in but I've welcomed into the AU in some way (either with a small background role or a cameo).

Acylla (belonging to @faewraithsworld) works as a jewelry and helped the butlers acquire some nicer cuff links after becoming acquainted with the business.

Mallory ( @sailor-muno) works at Grand Times and while she primarily coaches at the archery range, she and Noelle are familiar with each other due to Noelle's frequent visits.

Helia (my oc), Selena (another of Laura's ocs), and Helena ( @kalolasfantasyworld) cameo-ed in one of the butler intro fics (Nozel's to be specific).

Other Things to Know

Clover City is a city-state akin to Singapore and Vatican City.

The Diamond District is a commercial area of the city that acts as a hub for small businesses. At the center of the district is one of Clover City’s public transit stations, where trains and bus routes connect. Cars can be driven through Diamond District but it’s more common to take public transit and walk the area.

Heart Hill is a wide-spread residential zone known for having a low population density with multiple parks spreading between the neighborhood blocks. It’s got a transit station at its north and south ends. House prices in the area are considered “middle of the road.”

The Spade Sector of Clover City is a mixed-use zone of the city. There’s office skyscrapers and highrise apartments in this part of the city. It’s expensive and considered luxurious. It’s where the Parliament Building and the Civil Service Headquarters are located.

Golden Dawn Heights is the luxury, high-rise condominium complex where Yuno and Ciel live.

Son niños como los que viven en Herkleton Mills, pero a diferencia de la familia de Xavier, la familia Maslany posee una enorme fortuna gracias a la corporación dirigida por Hugo y Cecilia Maslany. Trivias:

1.-Tanto Warren como Miguel usan sandalias como calzado favorito. Esta característica es compartida con Eliezer y algunos de los 19 portadores.

2.-Al igual que Toman, Miguel puede declarar "Todos bajo el agua". Éste es un juego mucho más caótico que el de Toman, el cual sólo Miguel y algunos niños son capaces de soportar. Aunque Miguel sólo lo hace cuando se enoja.

3.-Eliza le tiene celos a Warren por su cabello rosado natural. Aún así, Eliza le tiene respeto a Warren por ser igual de adinerado que ella.

4.-Warren tiene un cuerpo muy flexible y puede contorsionarse tanto como quiera sin sentir dolor alguno, al punto de poner sus piernas detrás de su cabeza, o bien tocar su cabeza con sus pies descalzos.

5.-Los nombres de tres de los hermanos de Warren están basados en tres de los siete arcángeles: Rafael, Miguel y Gabriel. Lo cual enfatiza lo fuertes que ellos son comparados con Jackie, Aggie y Maya.

The Maslany siblings

They are kids like those who live in Herkleton Mills, but unlike Xavier's family, the Maslany family possesses an enormous fortune thanks to the corporation run by Hugo and Cecilia Maslany. One of the most characteristic traits from this quintet is that three of them, including Eliezer and Hugo himself, have natural pink eyebrows and hair (unlike Eliza, leader of the Tea Timers), as well as magenta eyes.

Each of them has the same abilities and roleplay as Xavier, Maya and the champions (though enhanced on them), but being siblings they have the advantage both together and separately.

Trivias:

1.-Both Warren and Miguel wear sandals as their favorite footwear. This feature is shared with Eliezer and some of the 19 bearers.

2.-Like Toman, Miguel can declare "Everyone is underwater". This is a much more chaotic game than Toman's, which only Miguel and a few kids are able to endure. Though Miguel only does it when he gets mad.

3.-Eliza is jealous of Warren because of his natural pink hair. Still, Eliza has respect for Warren for being just as wealthy as her.

4.-Warren has a very flexible body and can contort as much as he wants without feeling any pain, to the point of putting his legs behind his head, or touching his head with his bare feet.

5.-The names from three of Warren's siblings are based on three of the seven archangels: Raphael, Michael and Gabriel. Which emphasizes how powerful they are compared with Aggie, Jackie and Maya.

The more blackened side of its face looks less like a mask and more like an endless void. Stars n shit can be seen in there and everything. You can technically stick your hand in, but star says it feels uncomfortable and would Prefer that you did not do that. At least not without its permission.

Can hold/summon stars at will. Does so often for personal comfort. Described as feeling "warm", but other toons either cannot feel the stars or think they're SCALDING hot depending on what their made of (like how Looey is made of rubber [balloon dog]. or Gigi of plastic.)
