(Season 5 spoilers!!) Do you think Pidge would get the marks of the Chosen for entrance into Oriande? It seems if an altean can shapeshift they would be one of the “different” alteans like Lotor explained.

I wasn’t sure what the ‘qualifications’ were to be marked as one of the Chosen, but I definitely saw it as a sort of a strength of intention, and the tests found inside were tests of truth of character. OR maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about, but I like the thought of Pidge’s marks glowing and getting a few open-mouthed stares:

i wanna talk about The Hollow. and this is gonna get on the personal side so watch out.

im bisexual and trans ftm. i lean very heavily towards men. and i was raised extremely, extremely christian.

seeing Adam on tv. a casual male cartoon character lead have a pride flag and saying openly he's gay and the show getting a Y-7 rating feels ethereal to me.

i wish i had seen a character say they're gay so freely when i was young. i used to pray to god to make me normal. i wanted to "become a boy" but i was worried about my attraction to both men and women that i didn't know what to ask. so i asked to be normal. i would cry and hate myself because every sermon i heard talked about people like me being a sinful abomination.

and i think i might have loved myself sooner had i heard Adam say "dude im gay" when i was 10 and needed to hear it more than ever. i may have been raised as a girl but that just makes my internalized homophobia all the more chaotic because it applies to both my attraction to men AND women. maybe if a kid like me saw Adam, an average boy say he's gay in a casual way with no repercussions, they would think maybe. just maybe they ARE normal.

seeing mlm couples on tv, specifically "children's" cartoobs fills me with inexplicable joy. ive had such a difficult relationship with my experiences of mlm couples on tv (im lookin at you, voltron)

so far, only kipo and the age of the wonderbeasts and now the hollow has had a character outright and openly say "im gay." it could make me cry.

got inspired by lucio's new chapter + seeing some other apprentices age lineups so i made one for Aphrodi!

his parents got sick when he was young so he was sent to live with his great great aunt, but the boat he was on got caught in a storm, and he was shipwrecked.

he spends a lot of time running, hiding, and stealing before he eventually encounters Asra and Muriel and with their help, locate his aunt.

Why are bisexuals always so fucking homophobic? Gay people don't have a genital preference. Lesbians only like afabs, which means they only like vaginas sexually. Gay men only like amabs, which means they only like penises sexually. It's not a preference, it's homosexuality. We aren't attracted to both amabs and afabs like you bisexuals. Only Rush Limbaugh types refer to being gay as a preference. Don't do that.

don't lump every bisexual person into being homophobic? i shouldn't have to explain why that's wrong. and saying "bisexuals" is like saying "gays". it's not something to be made plural. definitely don't do that. just say bisexual people.

gay people CAN have a genitalia preference bc- and get this- sex isn't necessary for a happy & healthy relationship. if all you think about when dating someone is what's in their pants that's a disturbing thing to do. being attracted to someone almost never has anything to do with the knowledge of what's in their pants- you simply find them attractive.

trans lesbians exist and trans gay men exist but you glossed over that too, and im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt bc a tumblr ask only has so many characters. there are plenty lesbians and gay men who don't care about dating trans people. sex isn't integral for every relationship to thrive. asexual people exist too you know. and even if they're not ace, they're still gay for dating a trans person of the same gender.

i said genitalia preference, not gender preference and i shouldn't have to tell you those are two different things. when you meet someone, you don't know what's in their pants. and asking someone that unless you're gonna hookup is weird and wrong on so many levels that should be common sense. but invading the comfort levels of trans people is so normalized it's exhausting.

im willing to bet when you think of a trans woman you think of the gross transphobic stereotypes of a masculine person, often portrayed with a beard, in a dress. you probably think of the "soft boy" stereotype for trans men. what you think of as trans people is transphobic propaganda that might not be easy to undo but i can personally assure you that that way of thinking is incorrect.

saying lesbians only like afab people and gay men only like amab people has so many flaws but let's just focus on one. would a lesbian date a trans man bc he has a vagina? im gonna go with no, because he looks like and IS a man. same goes for gay men and trans women.
