being a cyrus as a villain enjoyer in gen 7 was a very malevolent experience because he got not one but two adaptations that straight up misrepresented him to take away his bite

like why is it that both of them ended with cyrus giving up and being wishy-washy about his plans when his most compelling trait as a villain is his sheer unstoppable determination

#ooc #rainbow rocket was silly but at least cyrus not really giving a fuck and dipping the moment he has the chance is funny and in-character #i really don't see cyrus or ghetsis teaming up with giovanni because they'd both think he's beneath them #that moment with rotomdex was soooooo dumb though #because rotom was part of charon's backstory but for some reason platinum can't be acknowledged #and the same guy that locks himself into the distortion world out of spite at the end of platinum seeing one (1) rotom #that's not even the same rotom from dppt and getting all contemplative and sad #is such an awkward attempt to 'give him depth' <- make him easier to redeem like lusamine in usum #i can see the vision though because he's just not interested #generations is the worst because the way cyrus reacts to the distortion world is the literal opposite of how he reacts in canon #why is he going uwu uwu uwu i just want to be alone so this world is perfect uwu uwu uwu #in platinum cyrus is absolutely COOKED over being in the distortion world because it symbolizes his lack of control #when he chooses to stay there it's to spite cynthia and the protag because he actually hates it there #and to plan a comeback because going back to the normal world means having to face the consequences of his actions

i gotta practice tfh again I used to be MUCH better at it... played with my friends again and I got my ass handed to me most the time but God I forgot how fun this damn game was even when I was getting my shit handed to me. I did get fucked up by the ai in the salt mines though and i NEED salt so I gotta lock in

what i miss about NOT being sober is the ability to become numb nearly instantly. times i have desperately wished for this ability: about 20 minutes ago when i discovered a days-old puddle of cat vomit on some of my semi-expensive electronics.
