Perbedaan lean and agile a. LEAN-> remove waste (lebih ke kecepatan dg mengurangi dan menghilangkan waste dlm proses)-> *ramping* +lean-> ini penting gak!? ini penting gak? kalau gak penting yg penting dulu +lean focusses on removing waste as part to improve efficiency in delivering products +use case-> scoping MVP-> saat masih berusaha mendefinisikan MVP nya +type of waste in lean-> excess processing b. AGILE-> adaptive to change by faster learning (fokus pd project management yang lebih baik)-> sat set sat set +agile ga berusaha mengurangi requirements, tapi fokus pada one thing of a time (like a cheetah), berusaha mengejar, ketika ada perubahan pd mangsa seperti belok kiri, cheetah juga akan belok kiri-> kita buat dari part nya dulu, part lainnya bisa utk di masa depan-> launching early daripada menunggu 8 bulan yg kompleks, lebih baik membagi menjadi beberapa part, launching early +agile breaks significant initiatives down into smaller components +agile fokus ke adaptasi untuk company yang lebih udah di stage (udah berjuta2 users, fungsi udah establish, tim product udah lebih banyak eksperiment) mana pendekatan yang lebih cocok.

krn software lebih kecil dibanding software lgsg gede, peluang eror lebih kecil, sama2 berusaha mengurangi feature kurang penting di awal. mungkin kita bisa lebih banyak bahas perbedaannya, dan gimana kita bisa terapkan lean/agile di situasi yg berbeda

agile values: a. individuals and interactions b. customer collaboration c. responding to change

the following is lean/agile manifestation: a. faster release timeline b. higher chance of success c. remove unnecessary fearures early

user stories "as a [persona], i [want to], [so that]" *who*how*why

maksud user stories disini-> are short requirements or request written from an end user's perspective. user stories should represent the delivered value to our users.

to get complete user stories, we also need acceptance criteria

cara metode utk mengurangi waste pada lean a. overproduction-> gadibutuhin b. reduce transportation-> yang perlu2 dulu c. reduce inventory d. motion-> kalau team butuh dependency satu sama lain bisa mengurangi keefektifan e. mengurangi defects-> bahkan bisa fokus pada pengurangan defects dibandingkan yg lain

the Agile manifesto consists of four key values: a. Individuals and interactions over processes and tools b. working software over comprehensive documentation c. customer collaboration over contract negotiation d. responding to change over following a plan

3 level: a. initiatives-> contoh initiative dari agar berat badan menurun-> olahraga b. epic-> the collection of user stories that drive toward a common objective; fungsi epic-> memudahkan untuk grooming agar bisa baca requirement lebih mudah c. user stories-> a good user story example: as a new customer, i want to be able to complete my transaction with a debit card so that i feel secure in the checkout process

what criterias of good user stories?-> INVEST a. Independent-> the story is not dependent on other stories getting done b. Negotiable-> the story prompts but doesn't prescribe a solution c. Valuable-> the story makes clear the benefit it delivers the users (what value it delivers to the users. example-> ___so that i understand the total value saved and proceed to checkout (why) d. Estimable-> the story gives enough detail to estimate the size of the story e. Small-> the story is the smallest piece of work that will deliver useful software f. Testable-> the story is clear enough that you can assess if the story is done

user interaction and design-> cukup detaild ada unhappy path-> contoh: kalau promo ga valid (krn palsu/expired)

effort estimation of a task is done by the engineering team and tell it to product manager *** Agile with Scrum

outcome of Daily Scrum-> teams gather in the daily meeting to share what has been accomplished and identify any blockers that might compromise sprint goals

how to plan and execute scrum sprints +do's (source: https://www.atlassian.com/agile/scrum/sprints) a. Make sure the team sets and understands the sprint goal and how success will be measured. This is the key to keeping everyone aligned and moving forward toward a common destination. b. Do ensure you have a well-groomed backlog with your priorities and dependencies in order. This can be a big challenge that could derail the process if it’s not properly managed. c. Ensure you have a good understanding of velocity, and that it reflects things like leave and team meetings. d. Do use the sprint planning meeting to flesh out intimate details of the work that needs to get done. Encourage team members to sketch out tasks for all stories, bugs, and tasks that come into the sprint. e. Leave out work where you won’t be able to get the dependencies done, like work from another team, designs, and legal sign-off. f. Finally, once a decision or plan is made, make sure someone captures that information in your project management or collaboration tool, like your Jira tickets. That way, both the decision and the rationale are easy for everyone to see later.

scrum can be used in: a. development and sustaining of cloud and other operational environments b. research and identification of viable markets, technologies, and product capabilities c. development of almost everything we use in our daily lives as individuals and societies

+Priority --> dari sudut pandang PM, mengenai mana yg lebih penting utk dikerjain duluan. +Sementara Story Point --> dari sudut pandang Engineer, mengenai seberapa sulit pengerjaan suatu task, umumnya di level 21 udah sulit banget, kak anton (instructor) belum nemu yang - (minus) juga +Bobot atau Effort point dari suatu task, ini akan diisi oleh Programmer. kita sebagai PM hanya perlu memastikan kalau engineer mengisinya
