You're pretty sure she asked what you were planning to do, but you're not going to risk letting her scream by taking your hand off.

If you can get hold of her knife, her only weapon currently, you could threaten her into letting you go, only letting her speak when you're sure you've got the upper hand. You shift your hand that's still on her wrist quickly to wrestle for the knife.

The instant you begin to tussle for it though, a flicker of fear crosses Epiphany's eyes. But then she narrows them at you, and that look turns your stomach because she's looking at you like you just fucked up. Without hesitation, she pushes down hard the small, red gem on her pendant, and a shrill alarm can be heard from just outside the front door to the apartment, which is almost directly across from the open door to the bedroom you're in. A panic button.

You flick your eyes towards it but it's too late. There's a beep as the smart lock opens, then the front door bursts open, and a large bodyguard runs in, seeing you on top of Epiphany, pulling out his gun, and running towards the two of you. "W-wait!" you reply, and he looks ready to hear you out for a split second, but then he sees the knife in your hand, the knife it looks like Epiphany is trying to stop you from using on her.

The guard aims straight for your head and shoots. The shot goes straight into your temple, causing you to slump forward weakly onto Epiphany, hand falling from her mouth and head onto her shoulder. Tears fill your eyes as your consciousness begins to fade, admittedly not as instant as you might have thought a headshot would be.

Epiphany gazes down at you with a vague look of disgust, but then spots that you're crying and a little smirk comes to her face. The kind of look she gave you at the bar, when she apparently thought you looked like a fun toy to play with. "Mmm~" she replied, stroking a hand over your face as she wipes a single tear from your cheek. "If only you'd cried like that before, you might have stood a better chance~."
