Not once have I seen anyone mention/bring up that Arthur Fleck is one of the few fictional men we have had that is not racist, misogynistic, sexist, feels his emotions, and is kind and respectful to women in his fantasies and in his reality

love when people go "it was a bad year for sundance!" and then immediately proceed to admit that they basically only watched films in premieres (the buzzy, already-have-distribution, big star bullshit) and us drama (MAYBE some us doc) and almost nothing from world dramatic (which has the best films of the festival), world documentary (second best), and next (the crazy shit)

#critics have been pulling this shit every year for as long as ive been attending #and i'll say this. i've created a very specific set of rules that have prioritized women and international projects at the festival.#zero premiere selections allowed. zero star-filled netflix already bought it films in my lineup. i have an amazing time. so kiss my ass #if you attend and only do films in premieres u are gonna be bored out of ur mind but you'll see famous people. so YMMV!

#i uh. started drafting the first ep #might attempt to make an ep with friends and see if anyone gives a shit about the concept #actually me and some friends did try drafting a ‘podcast’ sorta thing once #a buddy was like ‘hey im collecting names i wanna write something’ and i thought he was gonna write like. a story #nah. turned into apparently a podcast bc he sends me access and it was a script #i mean. nothing against it! just the fact that one person has writing experience and zero people have experience making pods #but like. i like having freedom over my own stories as well. and i wasn’t loving some of the ideas going on #but didn’t want to take control of the plot TOO much #so ive just kind of stopped working on it. but this isn’t about that project #basically: small town horror with inspiration from overbrook and shelterwood because i love both of those #not sure what direction to go in but then again. one ep to see what happens and then go from there #so far we got fucked up deer. because i have lots of experience with living around deer #randomrambles

#feel like my relationship with my younger brother is changed completely forever not to be dramatic lol but i am sad #we used to b very close but he has kind of. found his faith again and gone full missionary christian which like. i knew meant the dynamic #was doomed lmao but actually acknowledging it makes me sad i feel like i'm grieving for the friendship we used to have even though #it is literally a me problem i think from his perspective he doesn't think anything has changed. but i feel weird about everything #also his new gf is nineteen and he is. almost 25 and i am the only one who feels weird about it like i know she's over 18 but! idk i can't #tell if i'm being overly cautious or if my gut instinct is right. my sister & her husband have a similar age gap but they met when they wer #both over 30 so like. it didn't feel weird. and i didn't feel comfortable actually seriously talking to him about it apart from the first #time he mentioned her over facetime (he went to another country to do mission stuff & met her there) so like an idiot i've just been #making jokes about the age gap becausee like. thats always been our thing lightly bullying each other lol but he blew up at me and said #i've had nothing positive to say about her since he's been back home and that he thinks i hate her and i'm out of line for constantly #implying he's creepy for dating someone younger. idk i felt like such a freak idiot horrible person about it. it completely blindsided me #bc yes the jokes were coming from a place of idk how i feel about this situation so i'm going to rely on the humour-based communication #we have always fallen back on as a safety thing but i guess i was wrong or the dynamic shifted or something anyway it's all fucked #& everyone is just telling me i feel weird out of some?? misplaced kind of jealousy thing?? because i'm 'losing' my brother to his gf lol #which does not feel right at all he has dated so many other girls and i have never had a problem it is literally the age gap like i haven't #even met this girl i'm sure she's very nice! i just worry about her being nineteen!! jesus. and yes maybe i do feel some resentment around #a brother younger than me who seems to be able to live his life with zero difficulty whilst i'm stuck being this unemployed loser who ruins #literally ever friendship & relationship ive ever had but i think thats ok right like i can't help feeling that. i don't fucking knowwww #am i just projecting all these sad feelings about our friendship dying onto his new relationship or like. am i right to be genuinely #concerned she's six years younger than him and still a fucking teenager!!!!!! i don't know

hate logging onto my uni email acct bc what if i do and see that i got an email directly from the upper uni big chief man that just says "you are banned from our university and get no degree on grounds of you being a complete loser. goodbye" . what then.

#ive been in uni for almost 3y now. i think about this everytime #dont ban me from your university please #also me projecting bc theres a non zero chance i am actually fucking blowing my exam session and have to retake them in august with #my entire fucking degree in the balance. unpleasant. but like id actually get that sort of email #closest thing i got to such an email was during my first year when i messed up signing up to my classes and exams and had to #pay a mf 200 (!!!!!) euro fee for that. very normal amount to ask from a first year student living with their parents 150km away from campu #anyway. god help me fuck these exams i hate it here #personal nonsense

I had originally drawn Kageri for a collaboration, but I got sick and didn’t get to finish her in time. She’s one of my absolute favorite ghost from Fatal Frame IV. I loved her design for years before we finally got the game in the United States, and her character and backstory actually managed to surpass my expectations!

There are a few little details that I never noticed about her design until I drew her. Mainly that she does have a veil on her hat(I couldn’t tell if she did or not while playing,) her lipstick is smudged, and her sclera is black.
