The Scottish twins sang happily as they shunted the Arlesburgh yard. One twin shunted empty ballast hoppers shunted from a pair of sidings to the hoppers even as the other pulled the full hoppers away to assemble into a train at the yard mouth.

“Are they always this…” Swindon trailed off, the Castle class searching for the right word.

“Vocal?” Duck suggested.

“Should old acquaintance be forgot

“Musical.” 

“For auld lang syne, my dear

For auld lang syne.”

Duck snorted, “When they're together and in a good mood. You should hear Thomas on his branchline.”

“We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet

For the sake of auld lang syne.”

Rex spoke up from the little railway’s sidings, “It's July.” He said, “We couldn't be farther from new years.”

“And surely you’ll buy your cup

And surely I’ll buy mine.”

“I think they just like the song,” Bert called amusedly from the top of the hoppers.

“We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet

For the sake of auld lang syne.”

“Or it's the only one they know.” Rec grumbled.

“We two who’ve paddled in the stream

From morning sun ‘till night.”

“They sing it so much  because it annoys him,” Duck whispered to Swindon.

“The seas between us roared and swelled

Since the days of auld lang syne.”

Swindon snorted, “of course.”

“For old acquaintance be forgot

And never brought to mind”

The castle stretched slowly, “at least they harmonize well.”

“Should old acquaintance be forgot

For the sake of auld lang syne?”

“Do they?” Rex snarked. The twins, hearing him, decided to serenade him more closely and pulled alongside the little railway’s sidings.

“For old acquaintance be forgot

And never brought to mind

“Oi! off with that will ya!” Rex shouted over them. Instead the twins increased their volume.

“For auld lang syne my dear

For auld lang syne

We’ll drink a cup of kindness yet

For the sake of auld lang syne.”

Rex uttered a curse that was sure to have the Small Controller rinse his mouth with soap later and rolled away towards the sheds to find some quiet.

In a Vr Post-game AU, do y'all think Kokichi would anonymously interact with his own fandom and write metas about his own character to fuel the fire?

What if he becomes a huge troll and/or a serial doxxer and quickly gets a cult following of over 10k people for his great work in the fandom as a major hater/fake fan, but nobody knows it's fucking Kokichi Ouma, the iconic Ultimate Supreme leader from season 53 of Danganronpa.

Under his fake alias Kokichi becomes infamous/famous (as controversial as his in-game self) to the point of being a big name in the fandom (what an interesting way to use the talent the simulation gave him...) because he wants to use it against Danganronpa itself.

One of his followers ends up lighting Tsumugi's house on fire. Life is good.

Bonus if it all started from Kokichi finding his old pre-game account!

(When people recognize him on the street he fakes a blush and rambles about how it's a cosplay and sometimes says he even got plastic surgery to look like, well, himself. He has so many crazy fans that it works 99% of the time.)

Since Severance is so contained, I’ve gone with two options that can be interpreted in many ways and then one that is a bit more specific.

My goal when making the list was to choose one prompt per day but if inspiration strikes who am I to stop you? But please try to avoid (purposely) using prompts from different days in the same work.

If Discord can just change those into whoever/whatever he deems fit for chaos who’s to say the Elements of Harmony do or do not change those they see fit but for the sake of Order. Only Discord and the Elements would be able to resist each other right? It’s why he’s turned into stone instead of boom bam he’s a good guy now. Is Luna the same pony she was a thousand years ago? Or have the elements made judgement calls for the greater good. Are the main six altered by using them? Have the elements changed them to make them the perfect bearers? Changed Twilight in particular to be the perfect embodiment of Order/Harmony?

I think there’s a lot to think about. The tree of harmony is certainly not opposed to killing others it deems dangerous, just look at the clones chrysalis made of the main six.

I think the only thing that really separates Discord from the Tree of Harmony and the Crystal heart is that he has a mobile body and can be somewhat reasoned with. You can be philosophical with him directly to his face and make him question things. where’s the fun in making sense? I think Discord would have a fondness for mortal life, they’re really good at getting into his head with these silly little questions.

Head canons about about Celestia having to use the elements of harmony against her sister-

Since Celestia used the elements by herself it caused the banishment. She was never meant to wield them without her sister. So instead of her sister being helped by the elements, she was banished.

Since Celestia wielded the elements by herself, her appearance changed. Her hair is the most immediate difference, becoming an aurora of color that somewhat resembles the elements.

The Elements changed aspects of her magic to prepare her for a thousand years of tending to the sky by herself. Strengthening her magic slightly, and numbing her emotions quite a bit. She can still feel her emotions, but she can now easily bottle them up behind a smile when she needs to. The Elements wanted to create the perfect image of a leader. And Celestia hates it.

Celestia has insomnia from having to tend to the sky and Equestria day and night. She doesn’t need sleep at all in fact, another thing she blames the elements for.

Celestia is as tall as she is because of the magic boost the elements gave her, and of course the passage of time. She gained a good inch or two immediately afterwards though. Similarly to how nightmare moon was/is bigger than Luna.

The elements of harmony have effectively forced Celestia into becoming the Alicorn of the Sun and Moon in Luna’s absence. But not necessarily day and night. She has no connection to the realm of dreams. And she no longer feels a connection with the planet and the mortals who call it home. She has become the cosmos, the sky itself.

Luna on the other hand doesn’t feel much of a connection with what used to be her moon. She does feel a connection with the times of day, day and night. She has access to the realm of dreams, and still has a connection with the planet and the mortals who call it home. She has come to represent the passage of time, the planet, and its life.

The Elements of Harmony are a neutral force who were thinking about the future of the world at large. They didn’t care about Celestia and Luna’s feelings on the matter. As far as they were concerned if it meant the continuation of the world’s existence it was the best choice. Once the elements are returned to the tree and even later gain a sort of avatar you can physically speak too….Celestia has WORDS

Celestia has a lot of conflicting feelings about the elements of harmony and tree of harmony. In this head canon it’s not her who ascends twilight, it’s the elements. And if it was her who ascended twilight, she would have asked her permission first. Because celestia herself didn’t get the option of choice. She breaks down for the first time in a thousand years when twilight ascended. It was not happy tears
