the air was thick with adrenaline.

the glow of the elimination chamber loomed just beyond the curtain, its steel structure casting long shadows as crew members rushed past. you sat on a crate near gorilla, lacing up your boots, trying to steady your hands. heart pounding, head racing. but your eyes remained focused.

this was your night.

"hey"

you glanced up and there he was.

hands in his hoodie pockets, expression soft but serious. "you ready?"

you nodded, lips twitching into the faintest smile. " i think so."

he stepped closer, dropping into a crouch beside you, one arm resting on his knee. "you are. don’t think. just feel it. go out there and show them exactly who the hell you are."

his words were quiet, but they landed like thunder in your chest.

"i still cry when people yell really loud", you said, trying to lighten the moment, but your voice wavered.

punk smiled. "then cry. make it ugly. make it messy. just win, kid."

you swallowed thickly, eyes suddenly burning. "you’re really proud of me?"

his gaze locked on yours. steady. "i’ve never been more proud of you."

for a second, just a second, it felt like the whole world narrowed down to the space between you. his hand covered yours. warm, grounding.

and neither of you moved.

until the stage manager called your name.

you stood, heart racing for an entirely different reason now.

as you turned to go, punk called after you

"hey."

you looked back.

he nodded toward the ring. "take your spot. take it."

you didn’t say anything. you just nodded.

and then you walked out into the roar of the crowd, into your moment.

the door slammed shut behind you.

steel walls. chain-link cold. six women, one shot at wrestlemania. The crowd was a roar of noise, but it buzzed like static in your ears. your heartbeat drowned out everything.

this was it.

every bruise. every lie. every time you bit your tongue or cried behind closed hotel doors.

it all led here.

you weren’t just in the chamber. you were coming for blood.

the bell rang.

you moved like instinct. no hesitation, no fear. fists, knees, grit. every bump you took only made the fire burn hotter in your chest. the first elimination came quick, bayley, nodding at you before she went. she knew.

and then came bianca.

triple h hadn't just fucked you over. he had messed with her booking as well by putting you back into a winners place.

she wasn't angry at you

but she was angry at the establishment, and that was obvious.

when the two of you collided in the centre of the ring, it wasn’t just a match, it was war.

She got her shots in. You bled. But you kept getting up.

and when you hit that finisher, when you covered her and the ref’s hand hit the mat three times.

the place exploded.

you couldn’t hear anything. you could barely breathe. your body felt like it was on fire. but you stood.

you stood in the centre of the chamber, hands on your knees, staring down at the last opponent.

it was liv.

wide eyes. mouth bleeding. tired.

so were you.

but you dug deep.

you found something under the hurt, under the heartbreak. Something pure.

the final sequence was a blur, dodged finisher, reversal, your signature move hit clean.

the finally, the bell rang.

and everything stopped.

you knelt there, staring down at your hands. you’d done it.

the cage lifted slowly. lights hit your face. the crowd chanted your name.

you stood.

tears slid down your face, mixing with blood and sweat. you let them fall.

let them see it. the rawness. the redemption.

your hand raised toward the wrestle mania sign as pyro burst behind you.

you were going to mania.

not because of roman.

not because of punk.

because of you.

you came through the curtain to chaos, staff, trainers, officials but it was punk who cut through the noise.

he didn’t say a word at first.

he just looked at you, like he was seeing a miracle.

then he surged forward, arms wrapping around you before you could say anything.

"goddamn", he breathed into your hair. "you did it."

you nodded against him, too overcome to speak. "i did."

he pulled back slightly to look at you, hands still on your arms. "i told you. you were never second best."

your lip trembled. you hated that he made you feel safe. hated that it felt like home.

"don’t look at me like that", you whispered, a laugh breaking through your tears. "i'm disgusting right now."

"you’re perfect", he said, voice low.

that silence again. thick. tense. You thought for a second that maybe he would do something.

but his eyes shifted past you.

you turned.

roman.

standing just down the hall, jaw tight, expression unreadable.

he’d seen everything.

and he was seething.

two days later and you were still riding the high. you had a title match against iyo at mania and punk had a match the day prior against seth, your plans set in stone.

the adrenaline hadn’t left your system yet. every time someone passed you in the hallway and said "you did it", you felt it all over again, the scrape of the steel against your back, the roar of the crowd as you pinned your final opponent, the shock of the referee’s hand hitting three.

you were going to wrestle mania.

and you’d earned every fucking second of it.

but still your thoughts weren’t just on the match.

they were on him.

now he was in the ring with seth rollins, doing what they both did best, talking circles around each other, firing shots about legacy, titles, the road to mania. you watched from the monitor backstage, arms crossed, trying not to smile too much every time punk said something that made the crowd lose it.

Until a voice echoed through the arena, "acknowledge me."

roman’s voice dropped like a bomb.

you froze.

the crowd erupted. the music hit. and when Roman stepped onto the ramp, something about him looked off. the swagger was there, sure, but behind his eyes? rage. pure, blistering, barely held back rage.

you moved fast.

by the time you got to gorilla, he was already in the ring.

And then a brutal spear.

punk folded under it, crashing into the mat like the wind had been ripped out of him. seth lunged, ready to get in a fight with either man but security spilled into the ring as roman snarled, backing up like a lion circling prey. his voice cut through the chaos.

"you think you can take what’s mine? you think this is over?"

he didn’t look at seth.

he looked right at you.

through you.

like you were still his. like punk bleeding on the canvas was your fault.

you didn’t blink.

You just dropped to your knees beside punk, and held his face in your hands.

he blinked up at you, lip split. "i’m fine", he mumbled, voice thick with blood and defiance.

"you don't look fine"

"i'm okay love, just get me out of this fucking ring"

the hum of the fluorescent lights in the medical room made your head throb.

you sat on the edge of the table, your palm resting over punk’s chest as the medic checked him over. his shirt was off, revealing bruises already forming along his ribs, dark and angry. you tried not to stare too long.

he caught you anyway.

"you look like someone kicked your ass", he murmured, trying for a smirk.

"you almost got your ribs cracked open in front of thousands of people", you shot back. "forgive me for not cracking a joke."

the medic excused herself to grab more gauze, and the room went quiet again, heavy. punk’s hand found yours, fingers curling around them gently. you didn’t pull away.

your voice dropped. "you didn’t deserve that."

he didn’t answer. just watched you, the overhead light catching in his eyes.

"i should’ve said something sooner", you said, a breath away from a whisper. "about everything. about how scared I was. about how much it was all getting to me. i should’ve let you in."

"you don’t have to apologise."

"i do.", you looked down at your joined hands. "because i should've known roman would act like this, he can be so scary when he is angry"

his fingers tightened around yours.

and then he sat up, wincing, but not stopping his free hand reached out, brushing a thumb under your eye like he could catch whatever pain was still left behind.

"you’re safe now", he said quietly. "i swear to you."

the warmth in your chest nearly overwhelmed you.

"i don’t want to be scared anymore."

and maybe it was reckless, maybe it was impulsive, but in that moment, you leaned in and kissed him like you’d been holding it in for years. because maybe you had.

it wasn’t fireworks, it was a slow burn finally catching flame. soft and careful and full of weight.

he kissed you back like he meant it.

like he felt it.

when you pulled away, neither of you moved too far. his forehead pressed to yours, breath shallow, heart hammering beneath your palm.

"still think i’m bad at dodging spears?" he teased.

you laughed, really laughed and shook your head. "still a dumbass."

"but i’m your dumbass", he said, quiet and real.

and you didn’t correct him.

also lets not ignore just HOW fucking strong heavy is, we know this man fights bears bare handed this was probably nothing to him (i need this man to hold me like a bunch of grapes)

also the way he will avoid violence if he can? this might have just been an excuse to not draw heavy beating up dogs (which I appreciate) but it also just shows heavy's softer side

how do you think pyro got through? there were no signs of mess before heavy got in and pauling WAS with the admin moments prior so she must have seen pyro there, are we not gonna address that?? also they look cute here but we all know that

I'd love feedback for this, I mostly write and post on my days off which arent always the same each week, BUT when I do itll be a couple chapters at a time until i get slightly burnt out at my computer lol. ALSO~ im still new to the tumblr format (sorry if its bad) I do most if not all my writing in physical notebooks or on Word. I also welcome any prompts or requests for Wrestlers past present and different companies (¬‿¬) I simp for all things wrestling

Chapter 2! Thats him

Three Months.

That’s how long it had been since her last real mistake.

Not a trip. Not a flubbed sequence. Not even a delayed reaction. For three months straight, she’d hit her marks, landed her spots, and made it backstage without once needing to bury her face in a towel and wish she were anywhere else.

She hadn’t even cried.

Not once.

That was new.

Even her matches were starting to stretch longer she wasnt forced to be in squashed segments buried between title promos and filler. She was getting a few extra minutes. A false finish here. A rest hold there. It wasn’t much, but it was something.

The locker room noticed.

Not loudly. Not in a way that overwhelmed her. But with the smallest acknowledgments that carried weight.

A thumbs up from Kaitlyn here, there an approving glance from Natalya after a crisp clothesline.

And once even more shocking Seth Rollins walking past her at catering and said, “That dropkick was clean, bunny.” Then kept walking like he hadn’t said a thing.

Bunny.

She’d heard it before.

A good amount of times now.

Once from a makeup artist when Y/N had flinched after a sneeze behind her chair. Once from a ref in the ring after she bumped like she’d been shot from a cannon. And of course Punk and AJ coined the term first.

“Little bunny,” someone always murmured.

She wasn’t sure she liked it. I mean she wasn’t even sure if she hated it either. Dean had noticed. Not right away. Not until the first night he caught himself watching her match a little longer than necessary from gorilla.

Not until he heard Seth’s comment in passing and realized he had started using that nickname in his head, too.

He didn’t like that. Not because she didn’t deserve it no(of course not), the opposite, actually. It was because he’d already started noticing her far too much.

She was quiet. Twitchy. Soft around the edges in a world that filed those down with time. Her gear was simple, her face fresh, her voice still so faint it had to be mic’d twice for backstage promos.

But now she was focused. She honestly felt like something was shifting.

She hit the ropes cleaner. Her footwork was tighter. She didn’t flinch every time a crowd got too loud or a pyro fired early. She still plugged her ears from time to time but was adapting. Evolving. Like a half-buried ember being coaxed into a flame.

Dean didn’t miss much.

Especially not that. Seeing her like some sad little creature that for whatever reason he felt inclined to want to protect.

It bothered him how much he was watching her now.

At first, he’d chalked it up to curiosity. He had a nose for raw talent. He could spot people on the edge of a break before they even knew it themselves. Roman and Seth called it “feral dog instinct.”

But this wasn’t instinct. This was interest. A veryyyy unwelcome interest. Because he had Renee.

She was everything stable and sharp in his life. A grounding wire when his brain spiraled too hard into chaos. She made things make sense at least for a while she had.

Lately, that wasn’t as true. Not that he’d want to admit it or bring it up with her.

He still cared for her. Of course he did. But there was a space between them now. A silence. She was traveling more, working more, filming more out in LA. They FaceTimed. They texted here and there when she would actually manage an answer past a few words. But something about it all felt sadly hollow. Like punching a bruise. Familiar. Still tender.

Still there.

So he did what he always did he buried it. Focused on the job. Let the ring be his therapy. His bloodletting.

Except now, there was her.

Y/N had started warming up differently before matches.

Gone were the nervous pacing and anxious shoe-tying. Now she stretched with purpose. Loosened her shoulders. Tuned out the noise with earbuds tucked beneath a hoodie that still swallowed her frame. There was always some new song that she was bumping loud enough to blow out her ear drums if she wasnt careful, but it made her feel secure and locked in.

She still didn’t talk much. From what Dean saw at least, she had her group and stuck to it, it was like she had a sign on her back that said "unknowns not welcome".

But even with that invisible sign people no longer mistook that silence for fear.

That was the difference.

Punk had noticed. He nodded at her after every match now. Mostly smirking or casually mentioning being able to hear the songs he recommended her blasting in the halls from her earbuds. Sometimes bumped her shoulder lightly with his arm when she passed in the hallway.

Roman noticed too.

He’d started calling her “kiddo” now and again. A smile tugging at his lips when she offered a nod in return, or on rare days her little child like wave. When Dean saw the wave he asked Roman why she still does that and Roman just shrugged.

She wasn’t quite one of the boys. Wasn’t one of the girls, either. She hovered in between. Floating. Watching. Adapting.

A bunny in the wolves den.

Dean didn’t approach her. He really couldn't, not yet. But every time she passed, giving him a tiny wave or half smile he felt it. A tug. An itch. Something just beneath his skin.

And he didn’t like that either.

The next time he watched her match from gorilla, it was different.

She was tagging with Kaitlyn in a throwaway filler match against Alicia and Tamina. Nothing flashy. Not much story. Just time to fill before the main event. But she worked like it mattered.

Dean found himself leaning forward slightly, elbows on his knees, chewing at the corner of his thumb. She bumped for Tamina like she was being launched off a building. Took the comeback like a pro. Timed her hot tag perfectly.

And then he didn’t know why he noticed this—when she rolled out of the ring after the final spot, she caught herself on the apron, exhaled, and whispered something. the same thing she always says if she misses something or slips up

One word. Mierda!(shit!)

He couldn’t hear it. Couldn't even start to guess what she could have said. But her lips moved like it was familiar.

Like second nature. He didn’t say a word that night. Didn’t linger. But he found himself at catering later than usual, just as she was scooping plain rice and grilled chicken onto her tray.

He watched her from behind a vending machine as she took the same seat she always took far far right corner of the room, back against the wall.

Two bites in, Punk dropped into the seat across from her.

“Better balance this time,” he muttered through a mouthful of protein bar. “You’re learning not to oversell the shoulder.”

Her brow raised. “I truly was trying but its not perfect yet, sorry"

Punk narrowed his eyes tilting his head to the side

“You know you really gotta stop apologizing for getting better. Just own it Buns”

She ducked her head. But she finally smiled a real smile. "I hate when youre right Philly" "Is this were I finally get to say that I'm just the Best in the World line? Or should I spare you today?" He smirked, she laughed. Dean left before they saw him. But he didn’t forget the way she beamed.

He didn’t forget the way it made something tight in his chest slightly chip open.

The following week, her name was printed on the run sheet again and this time in a three-segment arc that ended in a backstage beatdown by an up-and-coming heel faction.

It was the most screentime she’d gotten yet.

It also meant she had to sell. Hard. Dean found himself standing beside the director by the time the segment rolled around, arms crossed, brows drawn.

The other girls circled her. Taunts flying. Then came the shove. Then the kick. The camera caught her flinch like perfection. Like she hadn’t seen it coming, but her body remembered.

She went down like a ragdoll. Curling in. Shoulders trembling just enough to look real.

Dean’s jaw clenched to him it looked a little too real. But when the camera cut, she stood slowly, nodded to the others, and brushed herself off. "Next time maybe dont step on my hair please?" she laughed bitterly before adjusting her hair clips leaving her wincing and rubbing her head where the hair really pulled from her scalp.

She was fine on all accounts the hair pulling wouldnt be the end of the world but it still hurt more than taking a quick chop.

He turned to leave. But not before Punk appeared beside him like some kind of goddamned ghost.

“She’s good, huh?” Punk muttered.

Dean looked sideways at him before he shrugged. “She’s gettin’ better.”

“Mm.” Punk smirked. “Noticed you’ve been watchin’.”

Dean’s eyes narrowed. “Yeah? And what of it Punk?”

“ Hey whoaa no judgment, man.” Punk held his hands up. “Just keep it where it belongs, yeah?”

Dean didn’t answer. He didn’t need to. That night in the hotel, he lay awake too long. He’d FaceTimed Renee earlier. They talked about her shoot schedule. About a new suit she wanted him to wear for an upcoming press gig when he said he didnt want to she ignored him and kept talking.

It was fine.

But when they hung up, he didn’t feel anything but the static hum in his chest. Not guilt. Not longing. She didnt even bother to say "Love you" at the end of the call, just something about getting another call.

Dean felt a harsh static. He rubbed his face. Ran a hand through his hair.

Tried to sleep.

But instead, he thought of the way Y/N had sold that kick. The breath that left her body. The way her hand had curled slightly at her side like she was protecting something soft inside her ribs.

And then, dammit, he thought of her smile.

The one she gave Punk when she wasn’t scared of being seen.

He hadn’t seen that smile in person. Not yet still he wanted to way too much. Y/N felt the shift too.

She wasn’t stupid. She noticed the way the air changed when she passed certain people now. She noticed when Roman lingered a second longer in conversations with her and Seth. Times where she actually spoke full sentences around the shield. When Punk softened slightly around her, even as he barked advice the older brother in him kicking in full force around her.

And she noticed him.

Ambrose.

The one she’d never spoken to technically not directly. The one who’d never spoken to her but around her. In more of a group setting than anything, if she was tailing behind Roman on nights where she had more courage than anxiety.

But sometimes especially now when she glanced up across catering or locker rooms or hallways full of chaos….she found him already looking.

Eyes sharp. Expression unreadable. He didn’t hide it. Didn’t flinch when she caught him watching. He said nothing directly.

But his attention felt different than the others’. It wasn’t approval. It wasn’t affection. It was curiosity.

Not like that. Not dangerous. Not like the veterans who made her skin crawl when they cornered her by the water cooler.

No. Dean Ambrose looked at her like he didn’t know why he couldn’t stop.

Like he’d already decided to fight the urge.

But hadn’t fully committed to the war yet.

And that scared her.

Because she didn’t know what it meant to be wanted.

Not like that.

Not gently. Not wordlessly.

Not when you still didn’t even have the courage to say hello alone.

Since the third generation of the war, all mercs are clones of 9 original mercenaries who were the best of the best

since clones can be respawned repeatedly and know almost nothing beyond fighting, the war has gone on far longer than the mercs think it has. its probably closer to the 80s

cloning technology and respawn technology are basically the same thing. They generate your body after death based on biological data, including genetic and nongenetic factors (such as scarring, surgeries, etc)

No clones are exactly alike. If they were, the respawn tech wouldnt be able to discern which individual clone to generate since they have the same sequence.

Generating a new clone is a more extensive process than respawning. Random mutations are induced in the original biological sequence to ensure no exact duplicates exist, and the initial generation takes a bit longer to process. Once the clone is produced, they're often catatonic or lacking long term memory and take a day or two to reach their "normal" level of awareness. They undergo testing during this time period to ensure they're fit to fight and aren't going to offset the red/blu stalemate by being over or underperforming

clones that are considered unusable for being deemed physically unfit or otherwise incapable of maintaining the stalemate are terminated and recycled so they can reuse the australium and matter used to generate them in the first place

memories across the clones varies. you have some instances where their memories overlap well (like the case of both red and blu soldier's remembering being a lawyer) and some instances where their entire past is a haze. all that matters to the administrator is that they remember being at war and theyre too busy killing each other to discover gaps and overlaps between them

there's six main clone lines for each merc that make up the six main teams overseen by the administrator (Ajax, Citadel, Echelon, etc). they all came from an original individual, but particular traits are found across clones on a specific team

Team Fortress is made up of reject clone lines that are mostly functional, but arent fit for the proper warfare involved in the higher level teams.

scouts line was demoted to tf just for being too "annoying." its hard to take him seriously at his job if he's constantly blabbing.

soldier's are pretty easy to generate. the tf line was demoted for. obvious reasons. clones that don't quickly develop ferocity are usually destined for termination

pyros are interesting. the tf pyro files were completely corrupted after a freak fire during generation. the resulting clones are freak mutants that normally would go straight to termination. but it turns out if you just stuff those guys into a rubber suit and give them a flamethrower, they do their job just fine. said mutations do tend to lead to lower clone lifespans, but pyros are pretty cheap to replace, and the other team members usually never notice a difference

the team fortress demo line is far more prone to alcohol dependencies than the other team lines, hence being demoted. but so long as you supply a constant stream of cheap whiskey, they get the job done

the heavy line is considerably more competent, but was demoted for being a bit too smart for his own good. they needed big guys who could shoot big guns, and fortress heavies tend to be a bit more suspicious of the whole ordeal. we dont need him shooting the Really big guns

the original engineer had a high position in tfi. the fortress line was demoted for being a bit more unhinged under the surface, making him a risk if he got his hands on better equipment. you dont see any higher team engineers sawing their own hand off

medics are particularly hard to clone because the original medic experimented on himself so much, adding in the random mutations often makes him unviable and instantly terminated. the reject line in particular is quite messy, hence the demotion

sniper's line was demoted for being generally uncivilized and gross not that he would give a shit. theyre also the most prone to memory gaps, given the original's already bizarre past

spy's line was demoted for the excessive smoking. despite memory gaps being common among spies, they have yet to stumble across one that doesnt remember being scout's father. for whatever reason, that memory from the original seems to be ingrained in all of them, even if they dont remember their own name

I was going to post my headcanons, but this turned out to be basically a chronological sequence of facts about her life, almost a biography (as always, I am sorry ).

Thank you, @pyro-madder for the opportunity to finally talk about Rom! I hope you will enjoy that!

Rom's father was a physician and biologist who researched the fauna of the Yharnam counties. He was one of the "old school" doctors - a graduate of Byrgenwerth, a conservative.

So how about the family drama? Here we go. At first he had an affair with a poor woman named Aglaya, Micolash's mother. But after learning of her pregnancy, he disappeared from her life and began a new affair, from which Rom was born. Rom spent a few years of happy childhood with her parents, and then both died in a fire. That's how Rom ended up in an orphanage.

Rom has been very curious since childhood. She was often scolded by her mother for eating grass and flowers xd And one time she even ate a bug… No evil intentions, it was just her way of exploring the world!

She has one single photo left from her parents, capturing her in a cute dress and her mom and dad. She got her red curls from her dad.

Rom's orphanage had strict discipline and focus on the old Yharnam religion (I don't want to openly call this religion Catholicism because it's not :0 But the vibes are generic. Reminds me of the movie adaptation of the novel Jane Eyre, where little Jane gets to go to school). But her extraordinary intelligence helped her stay afloat amidst cruelty and other people's malice, and then her relatives showed up - an uncle and aunt close to her dead father.

They helped Rom to enroll in Byrgenwerth, as the girl showed talent and curiosity for science and medicine. After spending a short time with her relatives, she studied the entire home library, and also at family evenings talked about her observations of the flora and fauna around their estate.

In Byrgenwerth, Rom was quiet at first. She endured ridicule for her red curls and overweight figure. A few generations ago, though, such a figure had been valued more than any other in Yharnam - it showed a healthy body and the ability to bear children.

Almost immediately Rom had a friend, Yurie, a girl who wore a male uniform. They studied at different faculties - Yurie aspired to become a chemist. And it was Yurie who had started this friendship, too. Rom didn't know, but despite her cold temperament, Yurie fell in love with her almost at first sight and was eager to protect her. And she was good at it! But she couldn't express her feelings. Therefore, she was often silent, rebuking Rom or resentful.

At first, Rom became friends with another young man. It seemed to her that she was making friends. The son of a wealthy family, an ambitious historian and future doctor, Laurence, with whom they had once teamed up to pass an exam. But Laurence quickly saw her as a competitor, and also experienced unwanted sympathy, and became her biggest bully. And created for her very many unpleasant situations, shameful and ugly. Her skirt fell off in front of everyone, her chair got dirty, rumors started, and many, many other things that silly children like to do (even if they are adults) :0

But the insults from Laurence allowed her to meet another victim of his taunts. A young man confined to a wheelchair, pale and seemingly almost dead - Caryll. Frustrated and genuinely hating Laurence, Caryll felt sympathy for Rom. So did she for him. This allowed the two to grow close. Gradually, an affection grew between her and Caryll. Rom even felt in love. One night the two of them spent together, secretly, on a Byrgenwerth balcony. They tried to kiss and tried to become a couple. But such feelings are not for Caryll, he loves differently. During that night they shared almost everything - life story, troubles, resentments, joys, secrets, and Caryll even told her about his dreams, how he often has nightmares related to multi-armed monsters (*wink wink*). They became best friends, and in fact, almost family.

Rom and Caryll also found a friend in the main comforter of all students, the librarian Damian. According to my headcanons, Damian is a former graduate of Byrgenwerth and a failed doctor. He was unable to start work as a doctor, and so he asked Master Willem to set him up at his alma mater. Willem valued him as an apprentice, so sometimes Damian got essays of Willem's written works, and those related to the research of the catacombs of Pthumeru once fell into Micolash's hands carelessly… But that's another story xd In the library Damian could do what he loved most - sorting, record keeping and, most importantly, guardianship and supervision. And there was always tea and his cookies available in his library.

There was also another man who had studied at Byrgenwerth. Unfashionable and strange to everyone, but too independent, proud and cunning to be an object of ridicule (In fact, Lawrence was very interested in him). Micolash. He and Rom talked, saw each other, though they were in different faculties, but sometimes found themselves in classes together. They were good together, comfortable. They were both drawn to each other's intellect. And… Romantic feelings were born in Micolash's heart. (Sorry, I really love love and everything related to it, in my stories crushes and feelings are VERY IMPORTANT xD It's my way of exploring characters). But her red curls kept reminding him of something he couldn't guess himself. He began to search for the cause of his embarrassment. Started looking for Rom's papers, found her last name. He found her parents' names on the paperwork. And the name of her father awakened a memory in his mind! Micolash found out about their kinship by breaking into Rom's dorm room while she was away and searching all her things. One picture in her things was enough for him to realize everything. He was hurt and offended because the only person who had attracted his mind and heart turned out to be not just a relative, but the daughter of the man who had once abandoned his mother, leaving her and little Micolash to live in terrible conditions, and also making the woman suffer for him for the rest of her life.

Over the course of their studying, the relationship between them all only grew stronger. Caryll and Rom had become literally inseparable! Yurie was still wooing Rom, but from afar, without talking to Caryll. She wanted to look strong and tough in Rom's eyes, but she didn't realize that she didn't realize it. Rom had gotten prettier over the years, and that was helped a lot by Caryll supporting her and forcing her to eat food so she wouldn't get physically exhausted, bailing her out of her depression. By this point Caryll had already suffered a small clinical death, and Willem had injected him with a portion of the Great Ones' blood as an experiment. He had already started dreaming about the Runes, hearing voices, and had gotten quite a bit of insight! He even changed his wheelchair to a cane - his legs could move, but only weakly! And only worked when injected with a dose of blood. Rom became more independent and began to engage in debates with Laurence during lectures and outside of school. And even managed to shame him once (piquing his interest even more). Rom was gradually transforming into a grown woman - her body was transforming, as was her mindset. She became one of Willem's favorite students - demonstrating theories on the effects of flowers and plants on perception, as well as (without knowing it herself), revealing the unusual nature of Lumenflowers. Also during this time Damian and Micolash became a couple, and Damian couldn't devote much time to the students besides him. But he and Rom still kept exchanging things and stuff - like scented soap, cloth, and other household trifles.

Laurence had changed, too, and so had Rom. And he had gotten away from the "spoiled boy" image with what Gehrman had helped him by becoming somewhat of a father figure to him. Laurence looked forward to the future, communicated with Willem and promoted the theory of the Blood, studying it with Willem himself. Thanks to Laurence also, one day Willem took the students on a field trip to the catacombs, where Laurence was able to collect even more samples. At this time, Willem also starts working with a rebellious knight from Cainhurst, who actively helps with the exploration of the catacombs in exchange for shelter and organizes his own little order, which he named after the warrior-soldiers in Cainhurst and one of his old mentors (Logarius! I'll write about him later for sure! In another huge as Bayle post of headcanons).

There goes a visit to Fishing Hamlet! Which had already been destroyed by the hunters, Maria and Gehrman were already here, as well as Willem and Logarius. The students visited what was left. But were able to see the corpse of the Great One. And it affected each of them in its own way! But it was Kos's parasites that interested Rom. She spent a long time rummaging among the snails and worms, examining and studying. She even found the corpse of a female snail in a pile of rot. And something was keeping her in suspense. Everyone around her was grieving, and she couldn't do it. She just couldn't feel the bitterness and fear and remained calm. She felt interest and excitement. She felt not the pain of Kos, but the remnants of her spirit and desire to live that were leading her to the sea!

Laurence contemplates a future marriage, the first project of treatment with purified blood appears, and the study of sea water. And… He has a weakness for Rom, who absolutely does not care about him! He saw in her, finally, not a rival, but a beautiful young woman with a brilliant mind and extraordinary character. He even offered her an engagement, it would be beneficial to both of them. But Rom refused (and Caryll showed him a middle finger lol).

Rom hates direct eye contact. She also has a hard time understanding irony and sarcasm - she takes everything literally. Rom is great with facts and direct arguments! She's also a perfectionist. Sometimes she felt like she was forcing herself to express emotions and doing it "too" artistic? She really wanted to let others know how she felt because she was considered "ice cold" at the shelter. (Yes, she is autistic. And I haven't yet consulted with my friends who have autism about how Rom might feel. And I've only used what I've read myself (or seen) to create it. But if you disagree with my view of her as autistic person, please text me and tell me what's wrong, I need corrections)

Rom met Gehrman at Willem's request (much to Laurence's delight). And she also met the huntress Maria, originally from Cainhurst. The four spent one evening in his workshop, and Rom enjoyed listening to stories of his life. Actually, she and Maria found common ground too - with the help of blood gems. However, Maria always felt uncomfortable around Rom. Under Rom's gaze, it was hard for her to say anything, she felt guilty and ashamed of what she was doing. Rom didn't understand her feelings, but she realized that something was wrong with her.

Opening of the Research Hall. Rom was supposed to work there as a doctor. But positions and jobs don't interest her much, she cares about research. She works with parasites and injects seawater into herself. Rom researches growing eyes on people, and here she is helped by Caryll, keeping an eye on her health. Rom gradually becomes a patient of her own free will, and lives on the upper levels of the Research Hall, in a laboratory, alone, visited only by her doctor.

Rom's hair is almost impossible to put together in a neat bundle - it will always stick out in different directions. Despite the fact that she and Micolash are complete opposites, they have a lot of similarities - those protruding locks of hair, the frown, the passion for unethical research lol

Laurence, already a vicar, Willem's assistant, begins now to care for her openly. His work takes up all his time, but he carves out hours to check on Rom and ask the doctors what is happening to her. He sends her small gifts and food and tries to visit her. And… She reciprocates. I can't count how many shitpost sketches I have in my head about this. Because Caryll was horrified when he found out that Rom had forgiven Laurence for all his wrongdoings and become his lady of the heart!

The Tomb Prospectors under the command of Ludwig, a knight from the southern lands, are hard at work for the Church. Olek, Gremia and Damian are among his charges. Tomb Prospectors discover the first Augur of Ebrietas, and Laurence, as a gift (giving her food for thought, so to say) gives him to Rom to examine. Augur lives in Rom's terrarium and crawls on her hands. She discovers that it gives off vibrations similar to those she heard in the Fishing Hamlet. And she discovers that Augur has the ability to leave burns on her skin. These burns are treated by Caryll and kissed by Laurence.

Yurie also works at the Research Hall. But Rom won't let her near her. And the girl's broken heart is healed by another lady doctor of the Research Hall named Madlene (And in the future it will be Imposter Iosefka)! Also, Yurie picks up her little nephew named Edgar from the orphanage :^)

Micolash ignores his sister. He is solely researching Saint Adeline and making her his own test subject (At her own will). From the moment he found out about their sibling bond, Micolash and Rom have been distant from each other and even feuding. He now considers Rom "unhinged" and "stupid" because of her research methods. He believes that trying everything on her body is barbaric and a waste of resource.

Tomb Prospectors dubbed Rom a "hottie" when they saw her with Damian! :D

Also Rom is incredibly tall among all other women! (Except for Maria maybe who is also tall) Rom is 6′ 0″, and while Laurence 5' 5" lol... They are quite a funny couple. But Laurence never complains. Actually he has the best view when he talks to her.

Rom is the first to bandage her eyes to discover her new vision. And is the first to start seeing "more". Caryll helps her settle into life with the insight lol. Her bandaged eyes will become the basis for the Choir hat.

Rom and Laurence go on dates when she manages to get out of her research center and he manages to get out of the Church. But Rom is more interested in discussing augurs than romance, and Laurence has to temper his own passionate feelings for her each time. Still, the two gradually come to bodily intimacy. Laurence also becomes very caring. He feels like a child with her, and suddenly begins to show guardianship and attentiveness.

Rom studies the Augurs and hears their call. She learns from their singing about the "daughter of the stars". And builds a theory about the sacredness of the mother-child bond.

She and St. Adeline had seen each other several times. And they saw each other as rivals - both aspiring to the Great Ones in their own measure. Adeline wished to have a child, she heard voices in her head assuring her that Kos was blessing mothers and families, and that would set Rom on a future idea >>>

Rom makes a plan for her own pregnancy. She wouldn't admit it, but she sees Laurence as her instrument. Her research takes her head over heels, and takes her very much away from the people closest to her. In an attempt to learn more about the Great Ones, she even rummages into Caryll's papers, waiting until he falls asleep to check what he has in his researches. Rom realizes Kos's mother nature, and tries to make contact, again using only herself for the experiment. And this idea she shares with Willem, who is proud of Romina and supportive, helping to plan for all future consequences. He becomes her new "family". And now she gets secrets from her two favorite people, Laurence and Caryll.

She does become pregnant after a night with Laurence. She hears much, much more. And one night a call comes to her, a real crying cry for help. She hears Ebrietas. (Laurence is the last to learn of this news. But he is still happy and hopes that they can become a family)

Ebrietas, discovered by Tomb Prospectors in the catacombs of Isz, is frightened and confused. She screams into the void, and Rom takes her signal as a beacon. Several Tomb Prospectors die in the battle with Ebrietas, and the survivors experience their first doubts about what they are doing. The monster that tore and trampled their companions is elevated to "Holy" by the Church, and no one mentions the dead so as not to taint the image of the new icon. Damian renounces here the teachings of the Church. But despite his resentment towards Rom, because she doesn't seem to care about his grief, he maintains a friendship with her, albeit a weak one.

Speaking of how Ebrietas ended up in the Church, or rather, in a large cave under the Upper Cathedral Ward. I think it was simply that there were ancient ruins under the Cathedral District that Ibraitas managed to "summon" to. Honestly, I have no idea how else she could have been transported xd Crawling through the catacombs and the city? Nuh uh. Teleport? Maybe. Or summoning with ritual and stuff in a certain place where the voices and whispers are particularly strong.

Rom is known as "weird" in the Healing Church, and it is known to quite a few that she is the vicar's sweetheart. Logarius is very judgmental of the vicar for allowing a woman taking up his precious time. But Laurence is a good enough leader to not let him talk about it much xd

Around this point, Micolash already has intentions of leaving the Church and establishing his own line of study of the Great Ones. Damian is absolutely on his side, for his encounter with Ebraitas has left a wound on his soul, as well as a deep aversion to the Church's perception of the Great Ones. They both choose Kos as their beacon, separating her from the rest of the Great Ones. Damian and Rom are forced to cut off their friendship for good.

The Choir was founded! And Rom becomes its idol and prophet (My version of Rom in the transparent blue dress is already relevant here. This dress was created for her by Laurence, or rather, designed for her by him). He decorated it with stars. Rom didn't do any more research. She only broadcast Ebrietas' will and communicated with her. Her body starts changing - a plate of chitin appears on her cheek, one eye darkens, and the pupil in it multiplies by eight. She begins to grow flowers that will cover her entire body in the future.

Caryll leaves the church to pursue the study of runes at the Mensis School, and… Rom, to his surprise, feels nothing. Moreover, because of her prolonged contact with Ibraitas, she begins to forget her old life and the people she loves.

Rom's child is never born - she loses the child. But that child will return to her, becoming a multitude of spiders that appear with her during the battle. Laurence has been heartbroken - his girlfriend, his love, the one he chose to marry - has isolated herself and given herself over to an insight. He wanted to be a father. And all their shared dreams of a family went down the drain. But he doesn't complain - his feelings are less important, than coming fall of Healing Church and Yharnam that Laurence can feel. He never knew that he was part of her plan. Though Rom did love him. But curiosity was paramount.

Yurie went from the Research Hall to the Choir, following Rom. But Rom hardly noticed her attempts to protect and be near her. And this annoyed Madlene (Imposter Iosefka), who despised not only Rom's working methods but also her impulsive nature.

Rom and Ebrietas find each other as two halves. A daughter finds future mother. An orphan meets a similar orphan. They resonate with each other in the strongest possible way, and Rom learns to understand her by transmitting the Great One's speech. Rom spends all her time with Ebrietas. And will exist next to Ebrietas without reacting to anyone around her. Everyone will think she's lost her mind, but Caryll will know it's still the same Rom, just on different levels and planes.

Rom will exist already as a spider and she will be visited by Laurence, Caryll, Yurie and then Damian will come to her when his life's work proves to be a failure. Willem never came to her - he had stopped contacting anyone. But really, Rom and he didn't need to - Willem knew his apprentice had ascended.

And then she'll shelter Yahar'gul at the cost of herself. And Micolash will be annoyed - such potential, and wasted. Rom achieved what he couldn't - Contact. And wasted it, in his opinion. That's why he calls her an "idiot."

I can say that Rom has always been a loner, and even being surrounded by people - she remained lonely. Only Caryll could understand her and was practically her soulmate, but gradually they started to keep secrets from each other - secret knowledge creates jealousy and fear. She experimented only on herself, not out of fear of harming others, but more out of a desire to feel the results, even if it hurt and was bad. She is probably the most successful of scientists - she accomplished her goal.

Face Flex Merc Reference

A video and image sequence demonstrating each merc's face flexes.

I hope this can be useful for artists as a reference for facial expressions. -Katy133

Thank you to hisanimations for the TF2 Trifecta, which this reference was created using.

Notes:

330 faces in total.

The mercs pictured here as in-game models, but these face flexes apply to SFM models as well.

8 mercs, 35-51 flexes per merc.

Includes phonemes (for lip sync), expressions, and the upper versions (as in: sans mouth shapes versions for expressions).

Face flex order in how they are displayed in the Pose Library of the TF2 Trifecta (instead of the Shapekeys tab of the Face Poser, which doesn't include the silence, defaultFace, and defaultFaceUpper poses and more).

Fames include the following information: Frame number of the video, face flex's name, visuals of the mercs from the side, front, and quarter view (actually 30 degrees). Using a perspective projection camera, at 80 focal length.

Video version is meant to be downloaded and played in a video media viewer that allows frame-by-frame scrubbing (such as VLC Media Player).

No spoilers! I think? I mean everyone's probably seen the movie, but still I tried to keep this spoiler free!

So to start, we have various reactions.

Medic, Pyro, and Engie are the only ones outwardly and inwardly excited. Like we'll get to the dress-up shenanigans in a minute but these guys are hyped. Medic and Pyro more so than Engie, he's only excited because he's never seen Pyro this excited.

Heavy and Sniper both don't particularly care, but Heavy is more happy to go just to hang out with everyone.

Solider and Demo wanted to go to Oppenheimer, and the other mercs told them the Barbie movie was Oppenheimer. Hilarity ensues. (More on this later.) I'm also half kidding, these guys wouldn't complain about going to Barbie, they just also wanted to see Oppenheimer.

Spy and Scout are secretly so fucking excited for this movie. But outwardly hate the idea or complain about it. Oh, it's a girly movie for little kids? Okay Scout, keep saying that while you find some thinly veiled excuse to dress up for the movie. This is a waste of time and money? Sure Spy, keep telling yourself that while you pick out your outfit, I'm sure you just so happened to have a pink dress, like everyone else so obviously does.

My Everyone's favorite part! Dress up time!

Don't get me started on Medic. He was prepared weeks in advance. Bedazzled his boots and gloves, found an extra lab coat, and dyed it neon pink. Ordered a boa and everything. He went all out and killed.

Pyro and Engie don't dress up nearly as much, but they both still dress up! Pyro finds anything pink they can, and even has Medic help with bedazzling. Engie finds one single pink shirt, and decides to call that good, but then is promptly drug off by both Medic and Pyro to help him come up with a better outfit.

Heavy and Sniper are quickly descended upon by Medic and Pyro. These two are hellbent on dressing everyone up. Pyro's busy covering Sniper with pink glitter while Medic's trying to convince Heavy that the bedazzling gun is safe to use on skin! (It's not). Both Sniper and Heavy feel deeply changed after their time with Pyro and Medic.

NOW HEAR ME OUT. Demo and Soldier would dress up in a full Barbie outfit for fun, and I'm willing to die on that hill. Like you do not have to convince them to put on something pink and sparkly, they would do that for laughs/fun. Demo is more to do it for a laugh, and Soldier is the type to do it because he likes having fun and being pretty :,) They are the only two to not be accosted by Medic and Pyro that night.

Scout is getting ready and he's so hyped, like this man has an entire outfit planned, but he's got to play it cool, you know. He spends at least an hour going in and out of his room, pretending he can't find anything and pretending to borrow things from the other mercs, until he finally gets cornered by Pyro, and dragged off to the lab for his Barbie movie makeover, complaining the entire way. (He wanted this outcome).

I'm so glad that I started writing this post-Spy Dress. I needed validation that he serves, slays, whatever, just fucking rocks a dress. Wears a pink dress 100% No question. Sequence, lace, boas, hot pink boots, it's so over the top but it's amazing. Medic just rolls his eyes when Spy claims he just had it lying around.

Movie reactions!

Medic had so much fun oh my god. He was so enamored with the movie. Could, and would rant for hours about this movie if you gave him the chance. Didn't cry like most of the others, but he still genuinely loves the message and just everything about this movie! See's Scout crying and immediately rushes up to half comfort him and half use this as an opportunity to rant, "Well, Scout you see, zhis movie is supposed to make you cry, because if you look at ze-" type vibes

Pyro didn't really pay attention to the other themes, was just obsessed with the pink, glitter, anything Barbie and happy was all they focused on. Ask them about the movie afterwards and they'll just make happy noises and try and explain what they thought of the movie through muffled noises. It's clear they loved it though.

Engie was entertained by the movie enough, he got the message and really liked the music. He's just so happy to see Pyro and Scout having a good time, is a little worried about the other team members sobbing, but he tries his best to comfort them while having a very excited Pyro ranting something he can't understand.

Heavy cried. No doubt in my mind. Also loved just having a good time and being with the other mercs and just. Had to listen to Medic ramble for weeks afterwards but didn't care, was just happy his friend's all had a good time.

Sniper's reaction was to be expected. Indifference, got why everyone was hyped about the movie, he thought it was an alright movie and he wouldn't be opposed to going again, but enjoyed being out more than being at a movie.

Demo was told this was Oppenheimer and rolled his eyes, but he did keep hearing explosions from Oppenheimer playing next door and was so confused. He was hyped the first time thinking Barbie was about to get violent, but then realized where it was coming from, took a swig of his drink and settled back down to watch the rest of the movie. He didn't hate it, didn't love it. Had more fun getting ready.

Soldier was told this was Oppenheimer and believed it. The fact that you could hear explosions was also helping the other mercs case of genuinely trying to convince him it was Oppenheimer. I wish I could say he bought it and was totally fooled into watching Barbie under the guise of it being a totally differently movie but honestly I think it's funnier to have him pretend that the other mercs really got him when this man knows more about American history than anyone else here. Makes a joke about Oppenheimer being a very beautiful woman, and freaks the other mercs out a little bit.

Scout will have you wondering, can a two hour movie really help you work through all your internalized issues? For Scout it can! He went from being woefully misinformed on the way women are treated, (Not on purpose/with hate but just with that whiteboy has never seen the effect society has on women.) to crying in the first half an hour and changing his entire out look on things. It's one of his favorite movie now, he is no longer afraid of admitting that.

Spy is not crying, fuck off. He's just so bored that's why his eyes are watering. Man is sobbing. He loves this movie. Not that he will ever admit that. Loved the soundtrack most. He also had to try and fix his makeup (yes he wore makeup, I'll die on this hill.) in a dark theater so no one would know he was crying, and I think that's really funny.

Medic- Dance The Night. PLEASE HE WOULD SLAY DANCING TO THIS! DANCE WITH HIM! He's so silly, he want's to just have fun dancing to the entire soundtrack but this song in particular. You will hear this song blasting from the lab at least twice a day for about a month. (No this headcanons isn't based on the fact that this is one of my favorite Barbie songs).

Pyro- Speed Drive. I like the idea that Pyro just really likes upbeat music. This song makes me feel like I just did a line of coke so I'm assuming that they'd feel the same way, and they love that feeling! They also like songs with a lot of reptation so they can remember it better. ALSO,

They sing that either out loud in a muffled voice or think it in their head about Engie, All. The. Time. They're besties yk?

Engie- Hey Blondie. Please, I'm sobbing. He thinks this song is so cute. He loves how sweet it is. He just immediately loves everything about it. Plays this so much when he's working, sings it a lot without noticing.

Heavy- Journey To The Real World. Honestly? He just really likes mostly instrumental music, and he also just likes short songs! I think he just likes the spacy vibe of this song.

Sniper- Forever & Again. Not going to lie. He was half paying attention to the movie and then this song dropped and it hit him like a ton of bricks for no reason. He was just super chill and then BOOM. Immediately having a silent sob/crisis. (He's okay, Scout comforted him, Scout was also crying too at this point).

Demo- Barbie Dream. He's not ashamed. He loves it. It's fun, it's silly, he's fun, he's silly. They we're made for each other. Likes the simplicity of the song. Hated how it got stuck in his head.

Soldier- Choose Your Fighter. I can't express how much I think this man would love Ava Max. Like it's insane. But that's also not the main reason. He likes how upbeat it is, and how confident it makes him feel. Like you can't tell me he didn't hype himself up with this song after the movie.

Scout- I'm so torn on this one, like I feel like he'd belt I'm Just Ken, but also, like I can imagine him also singing Barbie Girl, BUT THEN ALSO MAN I AM???? He likes the entire playlist. He liked everything, the movie, the soundtrack, this movie has him in a chokehold.

Spy- What Was I Made For? SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP. I honestly don't think I can let this man be happy in my headcanons😭But that doesn't matter! I heard this song and was like, oh yeah Spy from TF2 vibes hit hard with this song. Nobody else knew what I was talking about lmao.

Ah! This was super fun to write, but it took me so long to write for some reason, (I've been putting off real-life work.) But that's neither here nor there. Also I had this finished, and then went, Oh! I should add their favorite songs, and it took another hour.

(I did a word count for fun, 1766 words, only counting the actual headcanons and not the preface and what I'm writing here and now. Also in times new roman, 12 point font, and double spaced this takes up 6 pages 😭)

On my way back home. 25 hours in Finland - what a madness!

Böle was incredible! The new visuals look so great, there were video sequences for nearly all of the songs. Not to talk about the purple lightning added to the show. And the pyro 🔥

The new stage outfits are awesome. Käärijä's new spiky jacket with light elements fits in so well with his prior bolero jackets. The new trousers look like they're made to move, which is totally necessary 😂 and the broad belt reminds me so much of Rammstein, but in a good way.

The Daltons also got new suits - they wore netted shirts and black dungarees, along with new spiky accessories. And one leg was rolled up, so we have another well-working blend with the prior overalls.

Häärijä wore his usual yellow suit and some song-specific attire, like a white outfit with a mushroom head for "People's champion" and the yellow bolero for CCC. I was a bit surprised that both Kä and Hä continued wearing their boleros. They're iconic, don't get me wrong, but I had slight hopes that he'd let it go.

The gig itself was great. People were cheering so much, singing along and even jumping. I was at the top row, surrounded by lots of families, so there wasn't a lot of party 😅 so I made my own party!

It was interesting to see that many of them seemed to be waiting only for CCC. Whereas foreign fans that came there (even from Japan!) were cheering for all the songs 😂

But the best part of the evening was the afterparty. Sonny put up a whole Kä set list up, including rarely heard songs, and many people danced along. Around 23:30 Kä and his crew came on stage and it was 🤩🤩🤩

You could feel the energy seeping through him and the audience, he's really made for club performances. He sung the first CCC version, Kovis, unreleased songs AND Paidaton Riehuja!!! I was waiting for that song for so long, it was awesome!

I had so much fun and enjoyed every minute of it. Even though I missed the afternoon concert and the (nice part of) queueing, I still met some people and mutuals 🥰

ATEEZ if they were dropped inside Genshin Impact

AN: I know there’s a term for this exact scenario but I can’t quite think of what it is exactly XD also, I’ll probably end up making this a full series if y’all want it. A couple of my friends ( @joychiri and @chuimoon 💜💜) and I randomly got the idea of what it would be like if the members of ATEEZ were suddenly dropped into the Genshin Impact universe so here’s what we ended up with.

Hongjoong

Hongjoong would probably end up being dropped in Fontaine because with their fashion and technology, it’d be one of the most fitting places for him to end up. He’d more specifically land somewhere in the Court of Fontaine. He’d probably end up with either a dendro or hydro vision, but I’m leaning a bit more toward a dendro vision because of his pursuit of learning and trying out different styles of music. Hongjoong also gives off bow-user vibes, similar to Tighnari and Collei.

Seonghwa

Seonghwa would end up somewhere in Liyue when he first gets dropped in Teyvat. I’d wager either around Stone Gate or in Jueyun Karst. There isn’t as much of a reason compared to Hongjoong, it’s really just the vibes he gives off. He’d probably end up with a cryo vision which is fitting because of the fact that he originally was going to be a rapper but ended up debuting as a vocalist. That, along with his insecurities when it came to his singing voice predebut, adds to why he’d have a cryo vision. Seonghwa would be a sword user for fairly obvious reasons (Wonderland, Kingdom version to be specific).

Yunho

Yunho would end up landing in Mondstat. Probably somewhere just outside of the main city, like Springvale. I don’t have a specific reason why, but Yunho would have a hydro vision. As much as I want to say that he’d be a claymore user, I feel like he’d actually be a catalyst user, similar to Neuvillette. He just gives me hydro catalyst vibes.

Yeosang

Now Yeosang is a unique one. He’d also land in Fontaine, probably somewhere near Marcotte Station. This is mainly because of Yeosang’s love of building and flying drones. I feel like he’d end up welding two visions. The first one being anemo because predebut Yeosang and up until fairly recently when he decided to suddenly beef up, that man was a bit of a twink (I say with the most love possible). I have yet to see a male anemo user that isn’t a twink. I feel like he’d also end up wielding a dendro vision because of his insane duality. Plus, that one performance of Bouncy where he’s in the green shirt, forest fae princess vibes right there. He also would probably end up being a catalyst user because, once again, fae princess.

San

San would probably end up in one of the abandoned villages located on Serai Island which is in Inazuma. He honestly gives me Inazuma vibes, which is one of the biggest reasons that he’d end up there. I could see him having an electro vision. Once again, no specific reason, it’s just the vision that I think fits him best. San would also wield either a sword or a polearm. I’m leaning more towards a polearm because of his martial arts training, plus I imagine him doing the types of aerials that Thoma does when he’s using his elemental skill.

Mingi

Mingi would land either in Sumeru or Inazuma. If he were to land in Sumeru, it’d probably be in either Gandharva Villa or Port Ormos. If he landed in Inazuma, however, he’d probably end up near the Kamisato Estate or somewhere in Ritou. With his passion and fire (no pun intended) that he displays when he’s rapping, I imagine him with a pyro vision. Plus his stage presence is also very fitting for his vision. Mingi would probably end up as a claymore user similar to Dehya and Diluc and have a quicker attack sequence similar to how Itto’s attack pattern is in game.

Wooyoung

Wooyoung, the brat that he is, would also end up in Liyue. The Heavenly Principles had probably intended for him to land elsewhere, but he’d likely will himself to land in Liyue with Seonghwa, just to be a menace to him. They likely would still be separated but would be the first to reunite because Wooyoung is persistent. He’d end up having an anemo vision because, once again, I have yet to see a non-twink male anemo character. Plus, that one move in Crazy Form he does before the chorus, twink behavior and no one can convince me otherwise. I can see him using a polearm because of how agile that man is. Like, I’d say he’s about as agile as Xiao with the personality of Heizou.

Jongho

Now last, but certainly not least, we have Jongho. Jongho would probably end up on Sumeru. More specifically he’d probably end up in either Sumeru City or Port Ormos. I would envision him with a geo vision because of his steadfastness and commitment to his craft. Plus, he just seems like he’d have a geo vision. Lastly, I think he’d use either a claymore like Navia and Itto or a polearm like Zhongli and Yun Jin.
