Scout's eyes are badly damaged in battle and for some reason, Medic's gun can't fix him. Until they figure out how to heal Scout, he needs someone to look after him and keep him safe. Sniper is given the job.

this ruined my june in the best way possible. sometimes when your life falls apart, the feeling of an easy slow-burn friends to lovers kind of heals your soul. this is on queue unfortunately (4th july end of exams i wait for you) but i hope you all visit this 6 year old fic and scream with me. this fic to me is a hug, the podfic itself has made my week even through marathon study sessions and it's just. its so good.

I HC that yes Qi Qingqi would be wary of Shen Qingqiu at first (bc of rumors about him being a lecherous pervert- liu Qingge I love you but I'm also glaring at you for that incident which started it all) But once she sees that hes not a threat, at least of not that kind of abuse, (She's watched him with NNY closely now for years) she would be an older sister to him in everything but rank. YK. Like those women he visits at brothels.

Give me SJ and QQQ bantering and both of them knowing that perhaps QQQ is the only martial sibling that SJ relaxes around (Atleast when compared to others)

Them slowly building up to a tea session, it takes months but it happens. SJ doesn't open up, Qi Qingqi doesn't probe. But they manage to have civil conversations about things anyway. Neither of them have to ask for forgiveness; SJ for his brittle temperament, QQQ for believing in rumors or even being responsible for spreading them.

Banter, good tea and harmless gossip is enough for them to bond and establish a barely acknowledged sibling relationship

Day After Christmas – NASDAQ & Russell 2000 Up 72.2% Of Time

Santa Claus Rally starts today. The Santa Claus Rally was discovered and named by Yale Hirsch in 1972 and published in our 1973 Stock Trader’s Almanac as the last five trading days of the year and the first two trading days of the New Year. This short, sweet rally is usually good for about 1.3% on the S&P 500, but the real significance of the SCR is as an indicator. 

It is our first seasonal indicator of the year ahead. Years when there was no Santa Claus Rally tended to precede bear markets or times when stocks hit significantly lower prices later in the year. As Yale’s famous line states (2025 Almanac page 118): “If Santa Claus Should Fail To Call, Bears May Come to Broad and Wall.” 

NASDAQ and Russell 2000 have logged the greatest frequency and magnitude of gains on the day after Christmas. Since 1988, NASDAQ has advanced 72.2% of the time with an average move of +0.38%. R2K has also advanced 72.2% of the time with an average advance of +0.40%. DJIA and S&P 500 have slightly softer records, but bullish, nonetheless. 

Two days after Christmas, the market is less bullish with NASDAQ down more often than up. Three days after Christmas R2K small caps take the lead advancing 63.9% of the time with an average gain of +0.49%. 

Looking further out, from 1950-1985 last 5 trading days of the year S&P 500 up 34 of 36 years, average gain 1.24%. 1986-2023 up 21 of 38 (no change in 2006), average gain 0.44%.
