Have you ever read "Les Miserables"? :)
Oh no, certainly not — I would’ve remembered reading something with a title like that!

“Les Misérables”, you said? Forgive me, but... I’m a little frightened by that title... It might, well– it might set out to make me feel miserable!
… Not to judge if you enjoy it, of course! If a miserable book makes you happy, then– ... it mustn't be very miserable to begin with. Quite the opposite, in fact! So, perhaps renaming it something like... “Les Heureux” would scare less people away from actually reading it. Unless they pick up a copy, and— the subject matter is more miserable than they thought, and so— … the title is deceptively happy, and so— … they tell others they’ve been deceived, and so— …no one else obtains a copy therein.
... So perhaps it is better to be called “Les Misérables”. For if it’s not so miserable, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Or maybe it’s just called that because it was miserable to write.
... Who was it written by, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m not too versed with many authors; Master Frollo reads for me, and even then, I don’t often get a copy of my own.
That said, though… and strangely enough… I feel as though I’m oddly familiar with their work…

Hello Quasi how are you feeling today?
Same old, same old... chores, mostly – but added some new figurines to my collection! (The Baker has a new cat, it seems!) Overall, good I suppose. Nothing new (though I did ring a vesper a bit too early). Thank you for checking in on me. :•)

How do you deal with being the cutest man in all of Paris?
Haven't heard that one before... ... It's not good to tell lies, you know.

Hey Quasimodo, what is your favourite food?
Oh, certainly fruits! Fruits, or– … anything sweet, really. Speaking of sweet…

I’d have to say my favorite, favorite food would be this incredible dessert the Feast of Fools introduced me to not too long ago. I'm often brought the leftovers they can't serve the next day – this is one of them. It tasted of honey and– oh, it was very creamy, like a pottage! And the best part? It was topped with BERRIES. INCREDIBLE. I believe the recipe cropped up in an English book around fifty years ago… let’s say, 1430-something… so it’s fairly new!
As for its name, I– … unfortunately don’t know. When I asked what it was called, Master Frollo replied with a simple “créme”. I said, ‘créme, what?” And he said, “The second part is a word neither you nor I should so flippantly repeat.” ... That said – and you didnt hear it from me – but apparently it’s full name is ‘Créme Bastarde’.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be washing my mouth out with soap. Or washing it down with more dessert.
… Preferably dessert.
