The day has finally come.

I am now absolutely 100% debt free.

I finished buying my house earlier this year. And in the last few months the last few payments for credit card debt were made (last one was today). That credit card debt is probably older than most of my followers. Like. I was literally a teenager when i got credit cards. Fuck credit card companies tbh. Now i can save more money towards that dream trip to Japan.

just finished NG+. only the 3rd time i've ever played again immediately after finishing a game.

top 10 of all time? maybe. Definitely a top 20.

You pick up on loads of stuff on a 2nd play through.

Amazing story, characters, acting (not gonna call it voice acting cos that's an injustice), combat, character and creature designs, music, oh lord THE MUSIC! The music when you fight Renoir. SPLOOOOSH! Choices that make you think. The lore. Expedition 60 being gigachads. I NEED MORE!

really though, I don't think it is possible to oversell Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. it may be the best game I've ever played; it's certainly the most poignant and impactful. you'll laugh, you'll cry (and cry, and cry); if you're anything like me you'll shout at the screen. It's about grief, loss, how we cope (or don't). it's about art. it's about finding joy in the dark times. it's about the hope and the love we have for our families and our world, even after we're gone. The writing is so unbelievably tight; everything has a purpose, narratively or thematically or emotionally. The characters live and breathe as real people from the very start. and aside from all that, the visuals and animations and the music are stunningly beautiful; the combat is a delight.

Charlie Cox is there also, if that entices you. anyway. Tomorrow Comes.
