RANDOM FOLLOW UP RANT BC THIS IS SO REAL🥀🥀

I don't know if it's just me but I don't really 'see' myself in self-insert characters 🤔🤔. The same goes for any type of self-insert fiction (stories, games, audios, etc.)

I know the whole point of self-insert fiction is to ...well self-insert but I just really can't / don't want to imagine myself in the self-insert character. Cuz some of self insert characters themselves have unique personalities even if they are similar to mine, I just create ocs instead 🥹🥹

Example : When I listen to characters interact with the mc I don't think "omg we're bonding we should kiss!" instead I think "omg they're bonding they should kiss!" (Random phrases I KNOW🥀)

Pls tell me im not the only one who thinks like this my friend said im lowk weird when I ranted about this to them 🥀🙏🥀🙏🥀🙏‼️🙏🙏🙏🥀😰😰

Y'all ever listening to an audio and like, it's supposed to be a listener experience, like see yourself in the story.

But does the listener ever "say" (the characters repeating what you said) or do smth that's just like, not you ig??? Like they act nothing like you

Obviously I'm not saying I expect every audio creator to fucking study our personalities and make individual shit for all of us

But like sometimes you just see how a listener is acting and you're just like oh hell nah that ain't me what is you doing 🤨

LIKE I JUST listened to this series by obsidian lantern and dawg the listener was such a fucking GOONER 🙏 like chat that ain't me I didn't do or say that (loved the series tho, obsidian has such a fun voice)
