Affair era or husband's era? You don't need to spend more than five minutes on my blog to know that affair era is my favourite, husbands era is very dear to my heart though

Floral shirt or Brown leather jacket? Ooh both solid contenders but brown leather jacket! I actually used to have a similar one, parting with it was heartbreaking

Purple hoodie or Overalls? Overalls! The hoodie deserves to burn

Wedding 1.0 or Wedding 2.0? Aaah okay okay so as a whole? Wedding 1.0. I had a bit of a blip in late 2017-2020 which meant though I still watched and loved,I wasn't as invested in them so watching wedding 2.0 wasn't as exciting. The first Wedding has such a nostalgic feel for me . Wedding 1.0 just feels more them!? It's much more intimate and emotional, Aaron's literally about to go to prison. I can physically feel the love from wedding 1.0 when I watch it. For me wedding 2.0 is nice but quite simple. I loved the speeches,I loved that Seb was there and they were finally happy,but I just don't get as warm and fuzzy when watching.

Liv or Vic? Vic. I hate Liv. That's that :/

The Sugdens or The Dingles? THE SUGDENS! THE BEST! Genuinely tho,I adore their dynamic so much. Also they feel like one of the most realistic families on the show. I just think they have such a complex history and dynamic. Robert and Andy's relationship is one of my favourites. I can count on one hand the Dingles I like,if that

The lodge or Christmas 2017? The lodge. It adds about 10 years to my life,such pivotal moment in their relationship. Christmas 2017 is brill but it's too White heavy and I prefer mental breakdown Rob over sad Rob! Also,nothing beats “Falling in love with you ruined everything” top tier angst, one of my all time favourite eps!

Chrissie White or Rebecca White? Chrissie 100% She was an actual character,sure she wasn’t the best,but the things she did were understandable. Her relationship with Lachlan was quite interesting too. They killed off the wrong sister and I’ll forever be bitter about it. Rebecca was nothing more than a plot device.

Reunion 1.0 or Reunion 2.0? Reunion 2.0! A full rom-com style special how iconic! Aaron's speech, tattoo it on me please!

Alex or Mike? Honestly? Alex. At the time I hated him of course,he was just an irritating obstacle,but now I just find him hilarious. On my rewatches I just enjoy watching him be ignored by Aaron (boyfriend of the year honestly) the whole situation is just funny to me. Plus he gave us "It's you and me ,it always has been,it always will be" one of my absolute favourite robron quotes.

The Love We Stole or Make You Feel My Love? Both. I love them equally (I see you all with your Adele slander) I'd say the love we stole is more their song,the lyrics fit them To a T, and I associate that song with them only. Whereas with Make you feel my love,I love it as a song anyway but It's extra special because of them. The love we stole is my happy comforting robron song, Make you feel my love is my sad balling my eyes out robron song when I miss them.

Lay-by or Barn? Lay-by!! Where it all began (although technically the barn counts too) I wish they'd done more with the barn, like it was used twice,I like to think of it as the main meeting place during the affair but it would've been nice to see it more on screen.

Proposal 1.0 or Proposal 2.0? Proposal 1.0 no contest. I count proposal 1.0 as their whole ssw EPs and I'm a slut for a soap disaster,so as you can imagine it was a dream come true! "I'm not leaving you,no" ICONIC.

2016 or 2018? The worst years :/ 2016 had the abuse storyline which was brilliant but it was far too to liv centric and boyfriends era was kind of overshadowed by that. I have the same problem with 2018 but with she who shall not be named. She was just bloody everywhere!!! Inescapable, I hated it. However we did get lots of soft domestic moments, wedding 2.0,the reunion and Seb of course. I do love husbands era so I'd have to say 2018

Chas or Diane? Diane! My love. Chas is somewhat irredeemable now,it would take a hell of a lot of work and Paddy taking a long walk off a short cliff for me to like her again. I've always had a soft spot for Di and I miss her at the pub

Boyfriend era or affair era? Affair era of course. My all time favourite. It's just so good omgg peak angst, drama, romance! The full package, Romeo and Juliet vibes truly. Boyfriends era simply does not compare,it was messy and they weren't even given the chance to be proper boyfriends :'(

Affair era or Husbands era? Oh man, this is a tough first question! Love both eras for a multitude of different reasons, but I think I’ll have to go with husband era purely for how hard earned it was. It was amazing to see them so happy together. 

Floral shirt or Brown jacket leather? I think I’m one of few who quite likes the brown leather jacket 🤷🏼‍♀️. It deserved to be worn more than it did.

Purple hoodie or Overalls? It’s gotta be the overalls, for obvious reasons. Get Aaron back to the garage ed!! #rip purple hoodie though.

Wedding 1.0 or Wedding 2.0? Another tough question. But similar to the husband era, Wedding 2.0 was hard earned and it was a perfect celebration of their love.  Everything about it was lovely.

Liv or Vic? I’m not the biggest fan of either to be honest. I do love Aaron/Vic scenes, so I guess I’ll pick her.

The Sugdens or Dingles? I don’t care about either family, so I’m going to cheat and say the Sugden-Dingles.

The Lodge or Christmas 2017? The lodge for its gloriously insane angst. I do like how bonkers Xmas 2017 was though.

Chrissie White or Rebecca White? Didn’t like either, but Chrissie all the way.

Reunion 1.0 or Reunion 2.0? 2.0 no contest. Those eps are pure, rom-com perfection. A true iconic masterpiece.

Alex or Mike? Mike, because he has a pug named Gary and epic eyebrows.

The Love We Stole or Make You Feel My Love? The love we stole, it’s got to be.

lay-by or barn? Lay-by. It’s iconic.

proposal 1.0 or proposal 2.0? I’m going to cheat again and say proposal 1.5 - Aaron’s hospital proposal. It doesn’t get the love it deserves in this fandom!

2016 or 2018? Both have some bad, bad moments, but a lot of great ones too. I think overall 2016 is more enjoyable for me though. The show peaked at SSW 16.

Chas or Diane? I’m not a fan of how Chas is written nowadays, but I think I’d still pick her over Diane. Sorry Di.

Boyfriends era or Affair era? Affair era and its deliciousness.

Jesus what?? I stopped watching that show in like season 3 because I got bored with it but Connor and Oliver always seemed like the ones who'd make it in the end. They went through a lot of shit but eventually made it out stronger. Let me guess the only one that got a happy ending was Annalise?

See this is why I stick to soppy rom coms like the thing about Harry or went back to shameless just to watch gallavich get married. Give me happy endings or keep it.

Day 3: Rom Com Remix (Robron Rom Com AUs!! Imagine them as your favourite rom com movie or simply a cute trope)

Aaron glances at the clock.  He’s late.  He usually in by 6pm sharp.  Minutes later, he sees him entering the gym.  Walking nonchalantly towards the exercise machines like he didn’t just make Aaron wait 15 minutes.  He’s wearing a new pair of trainers and his hair is styled in a different way.  Aaron shakes his head.  It’s so lame that he’s noticing these things.

The first thing Robert does when he arrives is to have a quick surreptitious look to see if the cute dark haired man is there.  He is!  Robert wonders why he looks rather anxious today.  He brushes that thought away.  For some reason, seeing him in his usual corner of the gym makes him feel happy.  A face he looks forward to seeing.  Why does that man make him feel like a smitten teenager?  

What’s his name?  Does he have a girlfriend?  Or better still, a boyfriend ... wait ... that’s not good either.  Hopefully single and into guys.  Does he like his butty with or without sauce?  Briefs or boxers?  Horror movies, comedies or Marvel?  Marvel for sure, he looks the sort.  Coffee or tea?  Big spoon or little spoon?  Indy music or those club music types?  Definitely indy!

2 months of wondering, stolen glances and thirsting.  How long can they go on like this?  One of them is bound to crack.

Robert takes a deep breath.  He does not head straight to the exercise machines like he usually does.  He makes a turn and walks to the corner of the gym instead. 

Aaron’s eyes widen a little.  Oh shit!  This is it.

the more I think about how Aaron wants to be with Robert, wants this life with him, living in the Mill with Liv and Seb, the more I don’t mind where this SL has gone. I hated it a year ago but now, they’re together, they are soft and happy and they communicate? Aaron smiles so much now, Robert is happy, is in a place where he likes who he is and where he is in his life. they are both so happy they wanted to propose to each other. it’s a good place for them to be.

Who would be the big spoon/little spoon? I feel like Aaron is usually the little spoon, bc of height logistics, but they do occasionally switch when Rob’s feeling particularly cuddly (gross).Who would wake up first? Probably Aaron during the week because he has to get to work earlier, while Robert, as a member of the bourgeoisie has kinder working hours. But during the weekend Aaron sleeps in while Robert gets up earlier to do Stuff.Do they have nicknames for each other? Mr. Dingle and Mr. Sugden, but that’s about it.How do they apologize after an argument? Lmao they don’t talk about it and pretend it never happened because communication is a foreign concept. THAT SAID. Once they actually get to a better place I feel like Aaron probably just makes a joke to alleviate the tension and Robert probably hits on Aaron. Disasters. What would they be like as parents? Oh boy. Robert is the kind of parent who spoils their kid rotten, but also has pretty high expectations for them, not because he wants them to be perfect, but because he wants what’s best for them. He’s also the one who enforces rules the most. Aaron is a lot more chill, but he’s also the parent who panics at the first sight of danger. He’s not an helicopter parent, but like, just barely. They’re nightmares, basically. Who is more romantic? Aaron is romantic in a lot of quiet and every day ways, but Robert’s the one with the big gestures and the rom-com aspirations lbr. Put down Jane Eyre, Robert!What sort of gifts do they get for each other? Aaron gets Robert stuff that’s just this side of soppy. Not necessarily showy stuff, but stuff Robert mentioned in passing and Aaron remembered, that sort of stuff. Robert “Diamonds Are A Bi’s Best Friend (Metaphorically Speaking)” Sugden instead is all about making Aaron feel loved and special and spoiled. He gets Aaron stuff Aaron would never get for himself because he rationalizes it as too expensive. Who gets jealous easiest? Aaron “Break Into Your BF’s Ex’s House For Fun And Profit, And Also Maybe To Spy On Them” Dingle. Hands down. Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas? Oooh I feel like they get both equally excited about the couple stuff like anniversaries, but Aaron gets more excited about holidays and Robert about birthdays.Who is the most adventurous? Remember when Aaron wanted to go to A MUSIC FESTIVAL??? And also went to a lads tour in Europe??? Definitely Aaron. They both enjoy traveling, but Aaron is the one who just genuinely likes going somewhere unfamiliar and getting lost in there.Who is the most protective? They both are nightmare people who would burn down the entire world if the other got hurt, so this one is definitely a tie. What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts? OMG. NIGHTMARES. Like. Between the two of them they’d have enough angst to level Emmerdale to the ground. That said I feel like they’d either be breaking up and getting back together on the daily, or they’d last forever in a show of teenage stubbornness and sheer pettiness towards the people who said they wouldn’t last more than a couple weeks.Who uses all the hot water? Aaron. Hands down. He wakes up first so he gets to use all the water. Sucks to suck, Sugden, you capitalist pig.Who would accidentally set the kitchen on fire whilst cooking? Also Aaron, who’s apparently a mediocre cook at best. Who initiates sexy times the most? I feel this one’s pretty evenly spread. They both do.Who is more dominant? Eh. Again, fairly even. Maybe Robert, but only because I feel like he’s more vocal about what he wants.What would they do if the other one was hurt? MURDER. ON A VERY LARGE SCALE. Hey, remember when Aaron waterboarded and kidnapped a teenager because he so much as vaguely and laterally threatened Robert’s safety? And then Robert also lashed out at that same teenager because Aaron was hurt and he wasn’t with him? Good times.Who gives nose/forehead kisses? ROBERT FUCKING SUGDEN. The bane of my existence.What their biggest fight was/will be about: L M A O. Take a wild guess. But honestly I think we’re in for some more Iconic Robron Fights.
