I got some Transformers BotBots! Apologies for the terrible lighting, angle, etc.I didn’t have the energy to arrange something better.

This is one of the “Techie Team” assortments, which actually only comes with two members of that group: Chilla Gorilla, and Raddhaxx. It also came with (left to right) Bonz-Eye, Slappyhappy, and Pucksie.

The instructions featured more information about the two Techie Team members, and some more of the promotional art that shows that whomever decided on Chilla Gorilla’s identity wasn’t looking at a final version of the figure. The black details on the actual toy’s face seem to have been left red, with his prominent bushy mustache being reinterpreted as a jagged-chinned simian jaw, his nose left out entirely, and his eyebrows instead interpreted as a heavy gorilla brow.

These figurines are made of a much softer, more pliable plastic than the larger-scale TFs, which has its positive and negative points: they’re a lot less likely to break in transformation or play in spite of their tiny size... but they’re also a lot more prone to getting stubbornly stuck mid-transformation due to the different tolerances and friction of the polymer of choice.It’s very difficult to get my Pucksie’s head to transform.
