My piece for @bambeptin's Generator Rex art telephone: promises!

I did many things differently here from how I usually work (the lineless color styling and many texture gradients + layout), so this was a lot of fun! Thank you for organizing this art telephone, Bamboo! The piece before me by Bean @forestryfae was so impressive in my mind, I had to find a way to represent everything in that, as well as make my own take on it and the whole piece became a fun challenge.

Here's my Generator Rex fanart featuring Young Caesar, his parents Rafael & Violeta, and Baby Rex, of course! It was a few days after Rex Salazar was newly born on Ginebra, Switzerland on April 23, 1995. In my headcanon Caesar Salazar was born in March 1988. This is a Salazar family adventure in Ginebra, Switzerland a few days after Rex was born.

Rex, mutant, superhero, former amnesiac, former god (for like 20 minutes but still), now husband and father of four.

By now y'all must have put together I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers right, like it needs to be pretty obvious at this point right? Circe used to be a mutant but when Rex was a god he cured everyone so uh... she's just chillin.

Rafe is the first born and only son of Rex and Circe. He loves learning more than anything and is dedicated entirely to his studies.

Violeta, the softspoken and creative eldest daughter.

Tercera has been a force of nature since her parents adopted her as a baby, and the extrovert to Vi's introvert.

Becs is the baby of the family and a total sweetheart and homebody.

Say it louder. Also the inhumane treatment of the citizens of Bug Jar and how they are treated by fellow sentient EVOs in season two is messed up. They are just treated like animals thrashing in pain in a cage and that’s a thing I’ll never forget. The U.N. was open to discuss with Abyss but is willing to ignore the Bug Jar incident as a whole. The Bug Jar has such dehumanization levels it’s ridiculous.

i'm going to hunt people for sport. the point of generator rex (one of the points of generator rex) is how many different, widely ranged, equally evil ways there are to dehumanize a PERSON and turn them into a WEAPON and how no one will react to it the same way and everyone is hurt by it and healing comes from different paths. please listen to me.

REX is a boy turned into a weapon by the combination of lucky/unlucky nanites and providence's grip on him. SIX is a man turned into a weapon by a society that values violence and the separation of emotion from human bodies. WHITE KNIGHT is a man turned into a weapon by fear and business and a desperate hope to stay safe. HOLIDAY is a woman turned into a weapon through the violence of dehumanization in science and medicine.

VAN KLEISS is a man turned into a weapon by greed and the hunger for power. and he is a weapons factory because the PACK are dozens of people turned into weapons in service of someone who posited himself as a leader and a savior.

RAFAEL AND VIOLETA AND CAESAR SALAZAR are all people MADE WEAPONS by the poisoning of their work and their goals do you understand me!! are you listening to me!!!!

oh boy 4:30 am! time to post baby rex

I've been reading some Transformers Prime fics (despite not having watched the show just yet lol, I'm planning though!!) and I've come across some interesting crossovers with media I never expected to do a TF crossover with: My Little Pony, Tales of Arcadia, Demon Slayer, FRICKING WINNIE THE POOH??!!-I swear the last one is legit I stumbled a fic about it-, and so on.

And the ones I've read have been very cool, but like, I'm just sitting here thinking like...

Why hasn't anybody done a crossover of Generator Rex and Transformers Prime yet?????

THE POTENTIAL IT COULD BE!!!!!!

Again, forgive me if I have anything wrong about both shows (need to re-watch/start watching them), but here me out!!

-Rough Plot-

*Imagine in a mission against the Pack, Breach or like in the Ben 10/Generator Rex crossover, a rupture in time and space opens or Breach's portal is different than the other ones and sucks in Rex and Dr. Holiday (she was in battle to help out since this would take place after Black Knight took control over Providence) causing them to end up in the Transformers Prime Universe

*Team Prime are fighting against the Decepticons during a mission and it looks like the Decepticons are winning, even taking a human hostage that maybe stumbled the area (it could be Miko since she wanted to get up close to see the battle) when suddenly a portal opens up that isn't a ground/space bridge and Rex suddenly pops out of it and analyzing the battle quickly he understands the Decepticons are the bad guys and just gives a massive punch to Megatron and starts fighting the Cons, while Dr. Holiday helps out Miko to get away from the battle to safety

*The Autobots/Decepticons are just shock to like seeing a human that's capable of creating machines/technology out of his body since they never had seen that before, until they recover their senses and continue fighting, with Rex helping the Autobots, making them the winners of the fight.

*Team Prime is still in shock after what just happened but Optimus decides it's best if they invite Rex and Dr. Holiday to the base to protect them against the Decepticons since clearly they would be hunted down by them for the events.

*Somehow along the way turns out that Van Kleiss and the Pack got transported to the TFP universe too (a random rupture in space/time or in purpose with one of Breach's portals), and Van Kleiss decides to make an alliance with Megatron to get what they both want, Van Kleiss even supplying the weaknesses he knows about Rex and creating an army of Evos to assist (obviously they want to backstab each other but I think it's very clear that given who I'm talking about here lol)

*Meanwhile in Rex's universe Six would try to bring back Dr. Holiday and Rex back home with the assistance of Salazar, even if he doesn't like him that much, he's the only scientist that can help him find them (even if Salazar works with Providence but shhh lol). Dr. Holiday would try to work to get a way back home too from her side of the universe.

*I think at one point Van Kleiss would turn one of the kids (Miko, Jack or Raf) into an Evo to cause a punch in the gut for Rex/Team Prime and make it difficult to stop them.

*Blah blah blah more fights happen, Megatron and Van Kleiss are defeated, Six managed to open a portal and Rex and Dr. Holiday are back home.

-Extra Info-

*If I remember correctly Rex is able to understand Evos through his nanites, but he also understood machines if I remember correctly?? If that's true then I have this idea that Rex could be able to understand Bumblebee perfectly with the beeps and noises (which Bumblebee would almost crush Rex in a tight hug to know that another "human" besides Raf can understand him)

*I think the Decepticons would be (depending on who are we talking about specifically) a little bit creeped out at th Pack and the Evos since in the first place they don't like organics that much and then seeing this mutations of them would definitely not help out (Megatron would be like "this is gross, but it's also very useful so I take it")

*The reason I'm making Dr. Holiday be transported with Rex to TFP instead of Six is because 1) Holiday is super super cool and deserves more recognition and be in more missions 2) I think Rex could get injured quite a lot in his missions with the Autobots so Holiday being there would help him out heal better and keep track of his nanites activity. And 3) Because I think Dr. Holiday and Ratchet would get along well since I think they're very similar in a lot of things and since Holiday would be at the base in case of an emergency and to also learn about Cybertronian biology they would have the time to know each other and bond over their experiences as medics and the responsible ones of their teams, and I think Holiday could teach Ratchet some human biology in case the kids ever needed assistance.

*Miko and Rex would get along the most since they're both pretty chaotic and quite troublemakers, but Rex would also get along well with Jack and Raf since it would remind him of his friends back home.

*I think the Autobots would get quite a shock to hear all about the situation at Rex's world: from the explosion of the nanites reactor, Rex's amnesia, the Evos, Providence and stuff like that (I also think they would get worried about Rex's whole life since by the sounds of it he has been through a lot and they're right lol)

*When Six manages to come to the TFP universe the Autobots are once again quite in shock to seeing a human with such amazing skills and not even having any mutations or abilities for them! And they would also freak out about Bobo because he's a talking monkey lolol

If anyone wants to hear more about this idea or wants to contribute to it feel free to send me an ask/DM for it and I will gladly do it!! I just think this two shows would be a perfect crossover since they're dealing with living technology and stuff like that hehe.

In recent years, questionable prosecutions targeting left-wing politicians have become a pattern across Latin America, following a playbook created and supported by the U.S. government. In Peru and Argentina—among others—a pattern of U.S.-backed prosecutions targeted left-wing politicians and helped pave the way for regime change. The Salazar revelations also echo one of the most egregious examples of U.S.-backed prosecutorial misconduct in the region: explosive reporting published by The Intercept Brasil in 2019 based on another trove of leaked messages, which revealed serious ethical violations by a Brazilian judge and prosecutors, who colluded with each other to pursue political attacks against Lula da Silva in an effort to prevent his return to the presidency in 2018. The judge, Sergio Moro, hailed by the U.S. as an anti-corruption champion, has since fallen into disgrace after evidence of his bias eventually led the Supreme Court to throw out his judgment that landed Lula in prison. According to the messages reviewed by Drop Site and The Intercept Brasil, the practice of U.S.-backed politically motivated prosecutions has reached Ecuador. “Diana Salazar has been spearheading the most brutal persecution and has been the principal author of the judicialization of politics in Ecuador,” said Andrés Arauz in a statement. Arauz is the executive secretary of Revolución Ciudadana, Correa’s left-wing political party in Ecuador. “The political persecution against ex-president Rafael Correa, to impede his presence and participation in Ecuador’s political life, has been particularly bloody and has done great harm to progressivism, democracy, and the state of law in our country.”

For example:

In 2019, Salazar’s office launched an investigation called “Bribes 2012-2016,” which accused Correa of running a corrupt network of officials that collected over $7 million in bribes. Correistas allege the case was based on flimsy evidence. During the investigation, a Correa assistant turned over a notebook she said included contemporaneous evidence that Correa had taken bribes, but it was soon shown the notebook hadn’t been printed until 2018, several years after the allegedly contemporaneous notes were taken. It was accepted as key evidence regardless.
