🐺 1. Loyal to a Fault

Leon doesn’t give his heart away easily, but when he does, he gives it completely. His sense of duty and personal loyalty bleed into his relationships. If you become someone he trusts, he'll move heaven and earth to protect you—even at the cost of himself.

He struggles to put his own needs first.

Expect self-sacrifice packaged as stoicism.

🧃 2. Emotionally Guarded, But Not Cold

Years of trauma have hardened Leon, but underneath the sarcastic comments and tired eyes is someone who still wants connection—he just doesn’t know how to have it without losing someone else.

He's emotionally withdrawn at times, often needing space.

He won’t talk about his worst nights, but he’ll lie awake next to you, grateful he’s not alone.

Leon is heavily affected by the things he’s seen and done. Raccoon City, failed missions, and people he couldn’t save all linger in his psyche.

He may pull away unexpectedly—not because he doesn’t care, but because he doesn’t want to drag you into his darkness.

A simple “Are you okay?” might get a “Yeah,” but your presence means more than he lets on.

🎮 4. Dry Humor as a Coping Mechanism

His sarcasm isn’t just for show—it’s a wall. A survival tool. He’ll crack jokes in the middle of horror, and that includes using humor to hide his own emotional wounds.

In private, though, his jokes are softer. More personal. He loves making you laugh, especially if he’s had a bad day.

He’ll sometimes tease you in that deadpan tone, but it’s laced with affection.

If you’re patient, consistent, and strong enough to stay, he’ll eventually stop running.

So I played RE6 (cause why not), leaving the online options open, cause who's gonna join a random game. Near the beginning some guy joins, and he sticks with me for the next 2 hours until we finish Leon's campaign. Earlier at some point (months earlier) 3 people, yes 3 people join my game. One as Helena, 2 as monsters. Why do people still play this game and just... join random games. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against it, bless those people that joined but like... why. Still shoutout to that Helena from today, you made my life easier and experience better.
