Thank you for your amazing work in the AI wars video. I am a trans+disabled artist of colour who uses open source models trained on non-copyrighted works to assist me in generating assets I then collage into "sketches" for me to paint over for finished pieces. I have been subjected to nonstop harassment for years now. I'm also an anarchist-communist who criticizes big tech and capitalist structures relentlessly, and this is ignored in favour of calling me a Musk bootlicker etc. It was so deeply, wonderfully refreshing and revitalizing to see a creative commentator I respect take this subject seriously without buying into the heinous and disingenuous claims coming from all directions.
I did not realize how isolating and exhausting it was to be subject to all this harassment and total lack of good faith until I had a few hours reprieve. I am tremendously sorry for the mischaracterizations and harassments you've been getting since releasing part 1, but I want you to know that you gave me something wonderful and valuable with your work, beyond just the educational value (eg finding out about how much open guesswork goes into the fearmongering). You gave me a reprieve. You gave me hope in a better future where real problems (eg labour abuse) are dealt with without criminalizing my artistic expression. You gave me a wonderful moment of peace. Thank you, Mr Avila. Thank you so very, very much.
Thanks, I appreciate it! I suspect there are other people like us, skeptical of the technological future currently being molded by fascists, and knowing that a better future is possible. I will never stop believing in the Communist Hypothesis, and that involves an unabashed commitment to the future. The future is ours.

Below are 10 featured Wikipedia articles. Links and descriptions are below the cut.
On February 17, 1974, U.S. Army Private First Class Robert Kenneth Preston (1953–2009) took off in a stolen Bell UH-1B Iroquois "Huey" helicopter from Tipton Field, Maryland, and landed it on the South Lawn of the White House in a significant breach of security. Preston had enlisted in the Army to become a helicopter pilot. However, he did not graduate from the helicopter training course and lost his opportunity to attain the rank of warrant officer pilot. His enlistment bound him to serve four years in the Army, and he was sent to Fort Meade as a helicopter mechanic. Preston believed this situation was unfair and later said he stole the helicopter to show his skill as a pilot.
J. R. R. Tolkien, a fantasy author and professional philologist, drew on the Old English poem Beowulf for multiple aspects of his Middle-earth legendarium, alongside other influences. He used elements such as names, monsters, and the structure of society in a heroic age. He emulated its style, creating an impression of depth and adopting an elegiac tone. Tolkien admired the way that Beowulf, written by a Christian looking back at a pagan past, just as he was, embodied a "large symbolism" without ever becoming allegorical. He worked to echo the symbolism of life's road and individual heroism in The Lord of the Rings.
The construction of the first World Trade Center complex in New York City was conceived as an urban renewal project to help revitalize Lower Manhattan spearheaded by David Rockefeller. The project was developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The idea for the World Trade Center arose after World War II as a way to supplement existing avenues of international commerce in the United States.
The Coterel gang (also Cotterill, fl. c. 1328 – 1333) was a 14th-century armed group that flourished in the North Midlands of England. It was led by James Coterel—after whom the gang is named—supported by his brothers Nicholas and John. It was one of several such groups that roamed across the English countryside in the late 1320s and early 1330s, a period of political upheaval with an associated increase in lawlessness in the provinces. Coterel and his immediate supporters were members of the gentry, and according to the tenets of the day were expected to assist the crown in the maintenance of law and order, rather than encourage its collapse.
Eunice Newton Foote (July 17, 1819 – September 30, 1888) was an American scientist, inventor, and women's rights campaigner. She was the first scientist to confirm that certain gases warm when exposed to sunlight, and that therefore rising carbon dioxide (CO2) levels could increase atmospheric temperature and affect climate, a phenomenon now referred to as the Greenhouse effect. Born in Connecticut, Foote was raised in New York at the center of social and political movements of her day, such as the abolition of slavery, anti-alcohol activism, and women's rights. She attended the Troy Female Seminary and the Rensselaer School from age 17–19, gaining a broad education in scientific theory and practice.
Simonie Michael (Inuktitut: ᓴᐃᒨᓂ ᒪᐃᑯᓪ; first name also spelled Simonee, alternative surnames Michel or E7-551; March 2, 1933 – November 15, 2008) was a Canadian politician from the eastern Northwest Territories (now Nunavut) who was the first Inuk elected to a legislature in Canada. Before becoming involved in politics, Michael worked as a carpenter and business owner, and was one of very few translators between Inuktitut and English. He became a prominent member of the Inuit co-operative housing movement and a community activist in Iqaluit, and was appointed to a series of governing bodies, including the precursor to the Iqaluit City Council.
The St. Johns River (Spanish: Río San Juan) is the longest river in the U.S. state of Florida and it is the most significant one for commercial and recreational use. At 310 miles (500 km) long, it flows north and winds through or borders twelve counties. The drop in elevation from headwaters to mouth is less than 30 feet (9 m); like most Florida waterways, the St. Johns has a very slow flow speed of 0.3 mph (0.13 m/s), and is often described as "lazy".
Warlugulong is a 1977 acrylic on canvas painting by Indigenous Australian artist Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri. Owned for many years by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the work was sold by art dealer Hank Ebes on 24 July 2007, setting a record price for a contemporary Indigenous Australian art work bought at auction when it was purchased by the National Gallery of Australia for A$2.4 million. The painting illustrates the story of an ancestral being called Lungkata, together with eight other dreamings associated with localities about which Clifford Possum had traditional knowledge. It exemplifies a distinctive painting style developed by Papunya Tula artists in the 1970s, and blends representation of landscape with ceremonial iconography. Art critic Benjamin Genocchio describes it as "a work of real national significance [and] one of the most important 20th-century Australian paintings".
William Samuel Sadler (June 24, 1875 – April 26, 1969) was an American surgeon, self-trained psychiatrist, and author who helped publish The Urantia Book. The book is said to have resulted from Sadler's relationship with a man through whom he believed celestial beings spoke at night. It drew a following of people who studied its teachings.
Zebras (US: /ˈziːbrəz/, UK: /ˈzɛbrəz, ˈziː-/) (subgenus Hippotigris) are African equines with distinctive black-and-white striped coats. There are three living species: Grévy's zebra (Equus grevyi), the plains zebra (E. quagga), and the mountain zebra (E. zebra). Zebras share the genus Equus with horses and asses, the three groups being the only living members of the family Equidae. Zebra stripes come in different patterns, unique to each individual. Several theories have been proposed for the function of these patterns, with most evidence supporting them as a deterrent for biting flies. Zebras inhabit eastern and southern Africa and can be found in a variety of habitats such as savannahs, grasslands, woodlands, shrublands, and mountainous areas.

From Roommates to Soulmates: Reigniting Passion Through Therapy
Long-term relationships often start with passion, excitement, and emotional connection. Over time, however, it’s easy for couples to fall into a routine, where they may feel more like roommates than soulmates. The intimacy that once felt effortless can fade, leaving both partners feeling disconnected. If you’re finding that your relationship lacks the spark it once had, it may be time to consider couples therapy. In this blog post, we’ll explore how therapy can help reignite passion, restore intimacy, and transform a relationship from one of routine to one of deeper emotional and physical connection.
The Shift from Passion to Routine
At the beginning of a relationship, everything feels new and exciting. You’re exploring each other’s personalities, dreams, and desires, and passion often flows naturally. However, as time passes, daily life, work responsibilities, and family obligations can take priority. This shift from excitement to routine is common, but it doesn’t mean that the passion has to disappear forever. In fact, many couples face this challenge, and with the right tools and support, they can reconnect and reignite their intimacy.
When you start feeling more like roommates than romantic partners, it’s often because communication and physical connection have diminished. Couples might fall into patterns where they simply co-exist, rather than actively engage with each other emotionally and physically. This is where therapy can play a vital role in helping you rediscover the joy and passion in your relationship.
How Therapy Can Reignite Passion
Couples therapy isn’t just for when things are falling apart—it’s also a proactive way to strengthen and revitalize a relationship. Here’s how therapy can help reignite passion:
1. Improving Communication
One of the most common challenges couples face is poor communication. Over time, couples may stop expressing their needs, desires, or feelings, which leads to misunderstandings and emotional distance. In therapy, a trained counselor helps both partners learn how to communicate effectively, creating space for open and honest dialogue. When partners feel heard and understood, emotional intimacy naturally deepens, which can reignite passion.
2. Addressing Emotional Disconnect
Many couples who feel like roommates have become emotionally disconnected from each other. In therapy, you can explore the emotional barriers that have formed over time, whether due to stress, resentment, or unspoken expectations. By addressing these emotional rifts, couples can reconnect on a deeper level, which often leads to a stronger sense of intimacy and passion.
3. Exploring Physical Intimacy
Physical intimacy is a crucial part of any romantic relationship. However, when a couple becomes disconnected emotionally, physical affection often follows suit. Therapy can provide a safe space to discuss physical intimacy and any barriers that may exist. Whether it’s addressing issues related to desire, body image, or stress, therapy can help couples rediscover their physical connection and improve their intimacy.
4. Reigniting Romance
Over time, the excitement of dating can fade, and couples may stop making the effort to keep the romance alive. In therapy, couples can discuss how to bring back the small gestures, shared experiences, and romantic rituals that foster connection and passion. Reintroducing intentional acts of love and affection can help couples move from routine interactions to deep, meaningful connections.
The Benefits of Therapy in Rekindling Your Relationship
Therapy offers a structured environment where couples can explore their issues with the guidance of a professional. A therapist can provide tools, techniques, and strategies to help couples navigate challenges, communicate more effectively, and reconnect emotionally and physically. The benefits of therapy in reigniting passion include:
Improved communication skills, which lead to better understanding and emotional connection.
Increased empathy between partners, fostering a deeper bond and mutual respect.
A renewed sense of intimacy, both emotional and physical, that helps reignite passion.
A stronger foundation for the future, with tools for handling challenges and maintaining connection.
Conclusion
If your relationship has transitioned from passion to routine and you feel more like roommates than soulmates, couples therapy can help reignite the spark. By improving communication, addressing emotional disconnects, and exploring physical intimacy, therapy provides a path to restoring the passion and emotional connection that may have been lost.
Don’t wait for things to get worse before seeking help. Therapy can help you rediscover the joy of being in a loving, intimate relationship. With commitment, effort, and the right guidance, you can move from being roommates to soulmates again. Take the first step today toward a more connected and passionate partnership.

Digital Foundations – How BIM Made the Chenab Bridge a Global Marvel
Rewriting India’s Infrastructure Narrative with BIM
India is witnessing a paradigm shift in construction, and leading this change is Building Information Modeling (BIM). In 2025, BIM is no longer optional—it's the backbone of every major infrastructure project. A prime example of BIM in action is the iconic Chenab Bridge, the world’s tallest railway bridge, built in one of the harshest terrains on Earth.
At BIM Cafe Learning Hub, we use landmark case studies like Chenab Bridge to teach aspiring engineers and architects how digital tools can drive extraordinary results in real-world construction.
What BIM Brings to the Table
BIM integrates architecture, structure, MEP systems, timelines, and budgets into a single 3D digital model. With 4D (time), 5D (cost), and 7D (facility management) features, BIM makes design smarter, execution faster, and collaboration smoother.
Our training covers leading tools such as Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Staad Pro, Dynamo, and more, ensuring students are equipped with job-ready skills.
The Chenab Bridge: Engineering Meets Digital Mastery
Located in Jammu & Kashmir, the Chenab Bridge stands 359 metres above the riverbed and spans 467 metres. Commissioned as part of the USBRL project by Indian Railways, the bridge connects Kashmir to the Indian railway network and is taller than the Eiffel Tower.
What makes it even more impressive is that this structure was built in an earthquake-prone region with steep slopes, extreme winds, and logistical challenges. Without BIM, meeting deadlines and maintaining safety standards would have been nearly impossible.
Real-World Challenges That Required Digital Solutions
From unstable terrain and snowfall to landslides and limited access roads, every step of the Chenab Bridge project involved high risk. Traditional approaches could not offer the level of foresight, accuracy, or coordination required.
That’s where BIM made the difference:
3D models in Revit and Tekla helped designers pre-empt structural complications.
Navisworks detected design clashes early, avoiding rework.
4D BIM simulations enabled better construction sequencing, even under weather constraints.
BIM 360 created a collaborative digital space for remote teams to work in real time.
5D BIM tools optimised budgeting and procurement, keeping the project efficient.
BIM’s National Impact: Inspired by Chenab
The Chenab Bridge set a new standard for what BIM can achieve. In 2025, its legacy lives on as BIM becomes a requirement for major public infrastructure projects in India. Government authorities now demand BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), follow ISO 19650 standards, and increasingly use Digital Twin technologies for ongoing asset management.
As BIM becomes essential, skilled professionals who understand the full lifecycle of digital construction are in demand like never before.
How BIM Cafe Prepares You for This Future
We take practical education seriously. At BIM Cafe Learning Hub, our training doesn’t stop at teaching software, we introduce students to:
Real-time collaboration tools
Clash detection and coordination
ISO-compliant project workflows
Automation with Dynamo and Python
Live project simulations based on actual case studies like Chenab
This hands-on approach ensures our graduates are not just software-savvy, but ready to lead digital transformation on-site and in offices.
