I just made Keisuke in AutoCAD xd

Messing with AutoCAD while at school

I decided to draw an unfinished Wordgirl on AutoCAD during the free TD Period I had

We actually had 4 or 6 free periods today since tomorrow's Republic Day

I visited my father at his workplace and he walked me through his workflow

He works as a surveyor.

They record points with lots of metadata and a naming convention they devised

He imports the points into autocad

But also he imports them into the excel sheet

In the excel he filters based on metadata to get only the points he wants

Then the excel generates autolisp expressions:

based on the names it knows which points are parts of the same line

also it is encoded into the name whether they are a polyline or a curve

6. Then he pastes the generated autolisp into the autocad console and boom everything is connected It is a pretty clever scheme. He mentioned that he'd like to open source it.

Should I learn FreeCAD/AutoCAD?

I plan on taking one of Harvard's free architecture courses because why not and since I have always loved drawing and making blueprints maybe this would be a great new autistic special interest for me.
