From the moment you are born, you inevitably move toward death minute by minute. It's not a very optimistic start, but if you look around, it's not news. Death reminds you of itself everywhere. It is in the gory horror movies, detective books, and news flashes. You might not pay much attention to that, but it will hit you harder when you lose someone you love; the emotional attachment will divide your life into 'before' and 'after' and make you question everything you have known.

When a member of the Cryonics Institute dies, they must be taken to the clinic within seventy-two hours for perfusion. Perfusion means injecting blood vessels with a special liquid to prevent the corpse from being damaged due to the freezing temperatures. Frozen water might harm cells if perfusion is not performed, and revival will not be possible. Then, the body gets transported to a tank where it is slowly frozen to minus 196 degrees Celsius. Five days pass, and the corpse is placed into a cylindrical cryostat with the head facing down. If anything happens, the brain will be the last to thaw, and there is more chance of preserving it.
Dennis Kowalski, the president of the Cryonics Institute, argues that it is not about fear of death. It is more about trying another option and participating in an experiment that might be successful. Dennis cannot guarantee that this idea will be a reality one day; no one can. But looking at modern medicine and how doctors constantly bring back to life people with CPR and innovative treatment, he stays optimistic. Another question, however, is whether revival will make a person happy. What if they cannot return to the places they lived and love the people they loved? Only time will tell.

“To accept that death is inevitable, embrace the mindset of a gardener. Every gardener knows that no matter how many plants they grow in spring, they all will fade or disappear when autumn comes.

Story Time
....The time when my phone responded to me...
So some of you might remember that yesterday I rambled about a story about my old phone and I wasn’t too sure if I had shared it before...
But I’m going to 😂
@queerchoicesblog @teamtomsato you might find this interesting and very weird 😱
So it was like 10 months ago - it was the summer I can remember that - and me and my dad were watching the Big Bang Theory. We were watching the episode where they have to give this bird cpr to revive it. I didn’t know that you could do that so I asked my dad how someone could perform cpr on a bird and he just shrugged and said he didn’t know.
Now this is where it gets weird...
I didn’t have my phone on me - it was a Samsung - and it was on the other side of the room, locked and charging.
I had NOT set voice command on it and had not used any of the words like ‘Siri, Cortana or Google’ - after my dad said he didn’t know we continued watching and then.... AND THEN
This thing RESPONDED TO ME?!?! 😱
It took a few seconds... but it started telling us the method of how to give cpr to a bird but all the while me and my dad were staring at it like... 😳😬 neither of us had pushed any buttons it was on the other side of the room.
After it had stopped I went over to check it and after I unlocked it it was just on my normal home screen - it didn’t have the voice app up or anything.
I tried to debunk it but I am still as clueless as I was when it happened.
Now I don’t trust phones 😂🙃

Dramarama (BHLP)
Summary/Situation: How Jin got addicted to a K-drama and dragged Tori with him.
Author’s Note: This was a random idea. Monsta X fans might recognize the title of this scenario. The title of the fake drama I invented in this scenario is a combination of three real K-Dramas. K-drama fans would know which three dramas I made use of and Shawols might or might not get the reference I added in.
GIF not mine
Tumblr media
It took a mere three seconds for Jin to declare that he was bored. He was bored of lying still with his injured ankle atop a cushion, tired of rubbing his numb butt ever so often, and sick of having to limp his way through Tori’s apartment for a cup of water. He would not have been in this state if Jungkook had not coax him into sneaking out in the middle of the night to buy instant ramen at a convenience store.
They were both hungry and the fridge at their dorm had nothing edible to eat. Suga had helped himself to their last serving of leftover pasta hours before, which left the two men with growling stomachs at two in the morning. They decided to get food delivered instead but none of the menus they have on hand were very appealing. Jin had given up on trying to satisfy his desire for food and opted to just go back to sleep. However, the youngest boy in the team had other plans. Equipped with his adorable puppy eyes, he snuck into the elder’s room and, with the sweetest voice he could muster, asked sleepy Jin to accompany him to the nearest 7-11. Jin, already tired and sleepy by this point, unconsciously agreed and soon found himself being dragged across the hall and out onto the streets.
It was all smooth sailing from there until a stray black cat had scared Jin and had him running at top speed. Because of the darkness and his fear of the cat, Jin tripped over a large rock and tumbled across some gravel, spraining his ankle in the process. This left him with an inability to work for two weeks and an embarrassing story he does not want to share with his future kids. With no one to accompany him during his recovery, Jin decided to visit Tori since she was forced into a break after working too hard. After wobbling his way to Tori’s home and using his spare key to open it, Jin found her apartment empty. He sent the girl a quick text and found out that, due to an important errand, she would be gone for most of the day. The injured boy groaned in annoyance and decided to wait for his friend.
With no Tori to entertain him, he was left with no choice but to find other ways to pass the time which was more difficult than he thought. No game in the App Store piqued his interest and none of his bandmates were available to hear him rant about his predicament. Napping felt more like a chore especially with a sprained ankle and a butt paralyzed by the number of hours he spent lying down. Left with no other choice, he turned to his last resort: K-dramas. Jin was not a frequent viewer of K-dramas. He never had the time to watch at least one episode, let alone 16 or 100. Plus, he was always on the go with many tours and interviews lined up taking up most of his time. Although he has watched a clip or two while waiting, it was not enough for him to grasp the essence of a show.
He grabbed the remote off the coffee table and turned on the TV, just in time for the beginning of a marathon. It was for a show called 'Descendants of the Moonlight Lovers', an ongoing drama that was poised to be the next big thing. At first, Jin thought it was like every other drama he had heard about. It had the typical elements: a love story, star-crossed lovers, and good-looking leads. However, by the second episode, Jin was hooked. The injured boy found himself screaming at frustration when the two leads decide to take a break from their relationship and tear up a bit when the female lead’s mom was killed off.
---
Tori was surprised to hear a loud sob coming from her living room when she reached home. Jin must have fallen off the couch, she thought to herself. To her surprise, the aforementioned male was seated near her small TV, crying into a cushion.
“No! Don’t you dare touch my girl’s man!” The upset boy screamed. He scooted a little closer to the screen, before screaming profanities at who Tori assumes to be the main antagonist of whatever drama was on.
Tori placed her hand over her mouth to stifle her laugh. She knew Jin was a loud and extra man but she had never seen this side of him before. Her friend, who seemed to be unaware of her presence, was cheering for the two characters on screen as if he were cheering for a basketball game. After taking a quick video to send to the group chat later on, she approached Jin who was still very much engaged with the show.
“Hey, Jin, it’s getting pretty late. I think you should go.” Said Tori while trying to ease him off the floor.
Jin turned to her, surprised and annoyed. “No, not until this episode is done and that coward confesses to his sister.”
“I don’t think he’ll do that until a couple of episodes later and besides, the marathon is ending soon.”
“How do you know that? Do you watch this drama too?” He looked back at her, hoping she was a fan too. If she was, it meant he had a friend to discuss his frustrations with.
Tori shook her head. “Nope, but I know how K-dramas work. Now, come on, get back on the couch. Since you have no plans to leave I might as well cook you something."
“Oh yes, please! I was supposed to get Chinese food but Jong-Ki and Hae-Soo were going to reunite and I just couldn’t miss that.”
Tori chuckled at her excited friend. Jin let her guide him back to his previous position but not without him screaming another set of profanities at the TV. His friend wondered if Jin was indeed an adult man or a hormonal teenage girl in the body of a 25-year-old. She settled on the latter.
---
“It’s a great drama, you have to start watching it. The male lead is so handsome, but not handsome enough to beat me, of course."  Said Jin over their shared meal of doenjang jjigae and rice.
Tori rolled her eyes while helping herself to a spoonful of the broth. When the marathon was over, Jin pestered her with his frustrations with the plot as well as tried to convince her into watching the show as well. He had been rambling on and on about how the love story was unlike anything he has seen before and was looking forward to the new episode next week. It seemed like this man had no plans on leaving until she agreed to his request.
---
“Is it just me or is Hae-Soo the bravest woman I’ve seen in a while?” Muttered Tori while passing the bowl of popcorn to Jin. It was fifteen minutes past midnight and Tori and Jin was absorbed in the sixth episode of their new favorite show.
Jin nodded vigorously. “She is, but I will say, she did seem a tad bit stupid in the next episode. Ooh, speaking of the next episode, you better brace your heart for that one. It’s a heartbreaker!”
“If it’s as heartbreaking as watching Ra-on die, then you better grab me another box of tissues.”
The two friends had their eyes glued to the small laptop perched atop the dining table. As the doctors on screen tried to revive a patient using poor CPR skills, Tori and Jin hoped and prayed for a miracle, as if it were actually happening. They watched as they tried to revive him one last time before collapsing in tears when the patient was declared dead.
On the other side of the apartment complex, a worried RM was trying to reach Jin and Tori. He and the rest of the members had just come back to the dorm after a long day of work. BTS’s leader was surprised to see Jin had not returned to the dorm and was worried that the older male might have hurt himself again. Little did he know that Jin and Tori were too absorbed in the romance and drama of ‘Descendants of the Moonlight Lovers’ to answer his calls or even pee.

From Panic to Prepared: How Our App Simplifies CPR in High-Stress Situations
In a world where emergencies can strike at any moment, being prepared can mean the difference between life and death. Cardiac arrests don’t come with a warning, and when they happen, panic often takes over. But what if you could transform that panic into preparedness? Enter the Revive CPR App, the revolutionary app designed to simplify CPR and empower you to act confidently in high-stress situations.
In this blog, we’ll explore how our app is changing the game, making CPR accessible, easy to learn, and stress-free—even for those with no medical background. Let’s dive in!
Why CPR Matters: The Lifesaving Skill Everyone Should Know
Every year, over 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals in the U.S. alone. Sadly, nearly 90% of these cases are fatal, often because bystanders don’t know how to perform CPR or are too afraid to try.
The truth is, CPR can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival. But in the heat of the moment, fear and uncertainty can paralyze even the most well-meaning individuals. That’s where Revive CPR App comes in.
The Problem: Panic in High-Stress Situations
When faced with an emergency, our brains often go into fight-or-flight mode. This can lead to:
Confusion: Forgetting the steps of CPR.
Fear: Worrying about doing more harm than good.
Delay: Hesitating to act, wasting precious time.
Traditional CPR training, while valuable, doesn’t always prepare us for the adrenaline rush of a real-life emergency. That’s why we created an app that bridges the gap between knowledge and action.
How Revive CPR App Simplifies CPR:
Our app is designed to cut through the chaos and guide you step-by-step, ensuring you stay calm and focused. Here’s how it works:
 1. Real-Time CPR Guidance
With intuitive audio and visual prompts, the app walks you through the entire CPR process. From chest compressions to rescue breaths, it’s like having a personal CPR coach in your pocket.
2. Quick Access to Emergency Services
The app integrates with your phone’s GPS to connect you with local emergency services instantly. It also provides directions to the nearest AED (Automated External Defibrillator), if available.
3. Confidence-Building Tools
Practice makes perfect. Our app includes a CPR simulator that lets you practice on a virtual patient, building muscle memory and boosting your confidence.
Why Revive CPR App Stands Out
In a crowded market of health and safety apps, here’s what makes us unique:
User-Friendly Design: No complicated menus or jargon—just clear, actionable instructions.
Community Impact: Join a network of lifesavers and share your experiences to inspire others.
Be the Hero in Someone’s Story
Emergencies are unpredictable, but your reaction can be prepared. With Revive CPR App, you can go from panic to prepared in seconds. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or just someone who wants to make a difference, this app is your ultimate lifesaving tool.
Download Revive CPR App Today
Don’t wait for an emergency to realize the importance of being prepared. Download Revive CPR App now and join the movement to create a safer, more confident world. Together, we can turn panic into preparedness—one heartbeat at a time.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Benefits and Cincinnati BLS for Healthcare Providers Classes
It may come as a surprise for you that one of the best therapies after a heart surgery or a heart attack (myocardial infarction) doesn’t come in form of a pill, it’s actually a structured, supervised exercise and educational program called cardiac rehabilitation. Cardiac rehab is usually recommended for individuals who have undergone bypass surgery, angioplasty or had a stent inserted, and for those who have heart failure. Doctors typically prescribe cardiac rehab two to three times a week for 12-18 weeks starting about a month after surgery or a cardiac event. It involves exercise alongside including nutritional counseling and support with making other lifestyle changes. The biggest advantage is the fact that you’d be in a setting with people who have had a cardiac event and who are in a similar position as you which provides psychological improvements.
The best way to handle out-of-hospital cardiac emergencies is by getting CPR trained at a reputed training site such as the AHA certified CPR Cincinnati in Ohio. CPR combines chest compressions and rescue breaths. Proper administration of the procedure can revive the life of a victim involved in a cardiac arrest or heart attack. There are courses for both healthcare as well as non-healthcare providers.
Tumblr media
Learn more about a BLS for healthcare providers Cincinnati program:
Basic Life Support Classes- This AHA BLS Class in Cincinnati covers infants, children and adults. The duration of the entire class is about 3.5 to 4 hours, and two-year certifications are awarded after class. This course is also known as BLS for Healthcare Providers, and is intended for nursing, medical, dental, physical and occupational therapy, radiology, pharmacy, EMT’s, etc. students and employees in healthcare fields.
Effectiveness of Cardiac Rehabilitation:
According to a review of 128 studies that involved nearly 100,000 people who’d been at the receiving end of myocardial infarction, angioplasty or heart failure, those who participated in cardiac rehabilitation were far less likely to be hospitalized, and had a much better quality of life, than those who did not. Other studies found lower rates of death in people who attended cardiac rehab, with the greatest benefit seen in individuals who attended the most sessions. Some other benefits are weight loss, improved cholesterol levels, lower risk of depression and stress.
Boosting Cardiac Rehabilitation Success:
Doctors don’t prescribe cardiac rehabilitation to every eligible patient, they only refer about one in five eligible patients as they can’t force them to go—and most don’t. Overall, only about half of the people referred to cardiac rehab complete the program, with women far less likely to finish than their male counterparts. But, why don’t people go? Most cite they are too busy or can’t get there because they work. Also, people don’t seem to understand the benefits of the program, they’d rather take a pill. In addition to everything, people with heart disease probably weren’t exercising regularly before they got sick, and the lack of physical activity contributed to their condition and it can be difficult to change years of habit.
The best ways for patients to stick with cardiac rehab is by trying with fitness trackers or smartphone apps that send reminders about appointments. One shouldn’t stop exercising even after completion of cardiac rehab as studies show that you get even more bang for your exercise buck if you continue after it ends.
Join a CPR course today at CPR Cincinnati and gain the benefits. For more information, call on 513-828-3488.

Why Spotify Won't Be the Netflix of Music
March 6, 2018 7:19 a.m. ET
Musicians have long complained about the power of big record labels. Investors tempted to buy Spotify stock when it goes public later this month could end up sympathizing. The popular music-streaming app has revived the recorded music industry but done little to disrupt its balance of power.
This is most obvious in the company’s gross margin—the gap between its revenues and variable costs. These costs consist mainly of the royalties it pays to the “big three” rights holders, Universal Music, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music, as well as Merlin, a consortium of independent labels.
Last year the gross margin improved as Spotify signed new licensing deals. It hit 24.5% in the fourth quarter, up from 17.5% in the comparable period of 2016, according to the company prospectus published last week. But improving it to a level more typical of the tech industry will be a slow grind.
Licensing deals are negotiated every couple of years, so investors will have to wait for the next chance to strike a new bargain. Growing bigger should help Spotify cut incrementally better deals, but won’t resolve the basic problem that ownership of must-have content is concentrated in so few hands. The big three plus Merlin accounted for 87% of songs streamed on Spotify last year.
Video-streaming giant Netflix —whose longtime Chief Financial Officer Barry McCarthy is now in the same role at Spotify—ran into something like this problem in 2011, notes Wesley Lebeau, a fund manager for CPR Asset Management. Faced with escalating content costs, it bet big on exclusive productions, starting with “House of Cards.” The gamble paid off so well that production houses are now scrambling to consolidate their bargaining power; hence the battle between Disney and Comcast for bits of 21st Century Fox . Netflix had a 34% gross margin last year.
But music is different: Apart from the concentration of rights ownership, new albums don’t have the same marketing pull as a new TV series. Spotify’s prospectus argues that “personalization, not exclusivity, is key to our continued success.” Competing with the record labels to get a better deal just doesn’t seem a viable option.
Spotify could boost gross margins by increasing prices. But unlike Netflix, which raised the cost of its key U.S. streaming package before Christmas, Spotify’s monthly subscriptions fell to €5.32 ($6.55) last year, from €6.84 in 2015.
This is partly because Spotify, in a bid to compete with rival Apple Music, rolled out “family plans” that give six household members access for only 50% more than the price of an individual subscription. But it could also reflect the different relationship consumers have with music, which they otherwise listen to free on the radio or Alphabet’s YouTube. Netflix is much cheaper than a cable package; Spotify benefits from no such direct comparison.
Private share transactions in February valued Spotify’s equity at $19.7 billion, roughly 19 times last year’s gross profits. The equivalent multiple for Netflix is 32 times. If investors want Spotify to be the Netflix for music, with a valuation to match, it needs to demonstrate more pricing power, both with consumers and the music industry.
For all the growth on show in its prospectus, Spotify still looks like a company that will only ever make as much money as the big record labels let it.

Ingredients Baking & Spices 1 Whipped cream Dairy 3/4 cup Milk Frozen 2 1/2 cups Vanilla ice cream Other Pink, purple and blue sprinkle
Nothing accomplished today but i did get a new keyboard. That’s something to cheer about. I watched the White House Press Briefing. The press is absolutely hostile. They went from messiah worship to let’s take the President out no matter what.Shameful.Journalism is so dead now even CPR wouldn’t revive it. It’s dangerous for our country.I can’t believe people would think this is ok.I’m not buying the idea that it depends on your filter. When people are actively trying to overthrow a legitimately elected President we have a problem. A BIG problem.I have faith in God-it’s people i don’t trust.
It really was a wasted day but i still feel grateful. We don’t always have to be busy.I’m thinking of going back to the old hometown for a day just to make sure i get to visit the cemetery and pay respects to our parents. There’s days i miss them incredibly.I’ll be thinking, i wish they were here to see this-or  i wish i had told them that while they were living.I’ll always wish i had been the daughter they deserved to have.
There’s days i think about ALL my family members, meaning the ones that are still here included. It doesn’t mean I’m dwelling on it.After all,you can’t force people into decisions they are adamant about not making. They have a right to see things the way they do.For example;my husband has 2 sons. One that forgave him and is making an effort at a relationship. The other that will probably never forgive him so he has grandkids he’ll never see. Husband is realistic about it and we’ve gone on.It doesn’t pay to analyze people. Everyone has their own way of looking at relationships.
I don’t talk to my own son or see my own grandkids(Alexa Marie being one of them). I got past it years ago. It’s not as if anything ever really improved. You can’t lose what you don’t have. It’s not as if we’re here forever.I wake up grateful for what i DO have and hope for the best for them.Period. Everything is in God’s hands- that’s the final destination (especially) when you hit 65.I wear my heart on my sleeve most of the time and the rest of the time you’ll know exactly what i’m thinking. There are a few other things i keep totally to myself and will go to the grave with me. They involve other people who are ENTITLED to confidentiality. If i brought it up it would be calumny or detraction.
In politics it’s known as a leak and it’s usually meant to damage the person or party you are spilling the beans about.Sometimes it’s not even true.I have never divulged the few conversations i had with my son with anyone. Not a soul. I hope that my husband has the decency to keep what i want to be private, private. If he’s ever said anything to another person he’s going to get an earful.
A few days ago i ran eset online scanner and cleaned up an infected file. The damage had already been done so i formatted and re-installed Windows. Seems to be ok now. I wanted to try doing a periscope again but that put a damper on it. Now i’ve got quick time installed and we’ll see if the phone will work with the computer. The phone has no volume (near deaf anyway)and the screen is too small for me to see, even with glasses. If it turns out it won’t work with the desktop i will forgo doing periscope at all;at least until they make an app that works on a desktop.
The best periscopes i’ve watched are from Scott Adams. I hope to learn the ropes from him.I may try bluestack also. It’s supposed to work  with periscope on desktop. It wouldn’t be the first time i’ve heard something is SUPPOSED to work and doesn’t.Periscope is one of the best apps i’ve seen in a long time;but i’m partial because it fits Twitter like a glove. Sorry-am a Twitter addict. Have to admit it’s mostly because President Trump is there. LOATHE Facebook.I don’t know why Zuckerberg became a millionaire. Is he a billionaire at this point? Actress Gehana Vasisth who collapsed during shoot, is now stable
Television actress Gehana Vasisth who collapsed during the filming of a web-series last week, is reportedly ‘stable’ now.
Speaking to media persons at a press conference at the Rakhsha Multispeciality Hospital’s Diabetes & Cardiac Speciality Centre at Malad, Dr Pranav Kabra – cardiac specialist and diabetologist on Sunday evening told IANS, “If specialized emergency treatment was denied to her for more than a few more minutes late on Thursday evening when she was admitted to the ICU at Raksha Hospital, Gehana Vasisth would not be with us today.”
“Due to various complications in her vitals and body, the differential diagnosis was concluded as diabetic keto-acidosis (DK), which had reached a very advanced stage in Gehana’s system. Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.” he added.

He also added that the actress was on the verge of slipping into coma, which could have been fatal. “She needs three to four days to recover, and it may be possible to discharge her after proper monitoring of glucose levels, heart rate and other vital parameters, and depending on her clinical condition and outcomes,” the doctor said in a statement.
“When she was brought to the hospital she had a feeble pulse and no blood pressure. We put her on the ventilator immediately and gave her CPR, one dose of electric shock and put her on inotropic drugs to revive her heart,” he said.

Medical investigations revealed she suffered from diabetic ketoacidosis. Due to the uncontrolled state of diabetes, the ketones or blood acids in her body rose, which increased the acid level in her body. “The acid goes to the brain and all over the body, which leads to coma and eventually death. The acid has to be washed out with medication,” he said.
On the work front, Gehna was last seen in ALT Balaji’s “Gandii Baat”. She has also seen in various web shows on ‘Ullu’ app.

Miss Manners on: Emergency Comping
**Right up top, I just want to say I’m sorry if you coudn’t see Tuesday’s post! For some reason Tumblr keeps flagging my posts as containing “adult content” (manners are SO sexy y’all!) and pulling them down. Hopefully it should be back up by the time you read this, but UGH SO ANNOYING.
Q: Two couples were dining at a fairly expensive restaurant. Just as the main course was being served, one of the men seemed to pass out in his chair, his head resting on his chest. His wife couldn't rouse him, and she asked that someone call 911. EMTs came, revived him and said they would take him to the hospital. The server asked if she could box up the uneaten entrees. The diners declined, saying that they were all going to the hospital. The server then asked what she should do with the dinner bill. One of the diners paid it. My friend, who was at the next table, felt that the restaurant should have comped the meal. I disagreed.
Miss Manners says: Unfortunate though the circumstances were, the restaurant is under no obligation to refund the price of the meal. Assuming, Miss Manners hastens to add, that it had no hand in causing those circumstances.
Your Head Bitch says: I think it depends on the severity of the situation. It’s one thing if (god forbid) the guy is taken out in a rush with the paramedics giving him CPR. In that case, I should think the restaurant ought to comp the meal just because I can’t imagine anyone would even remember to pay. Though I would also say that one of the members of the dining party should go back the next day (or at some point soon) and make a good faith effort to settle the bill, even if the restaurant declines to accept. In a situation like the one you describe, where it didn’t seem like a super emergency - I mean, if the waitress could ask if you wanted your meals boxed up I don’t think things ever got too out of control - even if they did end up going to the hospital, there was time to settle the bill and the diners rightly did so. I mean, otherwise you’d have every cheapskate in the country pretending to pass out to get some free food out of the deal. Or, for those of us who are fainters, we might be accused of doing just that even when it was real! I think Miss M is spot on here - unless the restaurant is directly responsible for your emergency, or you’re in such a bad way you physically can’t pay, you should plan on settling your bill before leaving for the hospital.  Maybe if and when they come back the restaurant can comp them an app or something as as get well soon gesture.

Every Minute Counts: The Importance of CPR, Learn CPR with Revive CPR App
When someone's heart stops beating, time is of the essence. Brain cells begin to die within minutes, emphasizing the urgency of immediate action. This is where CPR plays a crucial role.
CPR is a first aid technique that helps maintain blood flow to the brain and other vital organs until emergency medical services arrive. By performing chest compressions, you manually pump blood throughout the body, keeping oxygen-rich blood circulating.
Early CPR significantly increases the chances of survival for someone experiencing cardiac arrest. In fact, studies have shown that performing CPR immediately can double or even triple the likelihood of a positive outcome.
Don't hesitate to act. If you witness someone collapse and are unsure if they are breathing, begin CPR immediately. Your actions could be the key to saving a life.

Recognizing Cardiac Arrest: When should CPR begin? – Learn CPR with the Revive CPR App
Cardiac arrest is a life-threatening emergency that occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. Instant recognition and action can mean the difference between life and death.
Learning how to recognize cardiac arrest and perform CPR is a critical skill, but with the Revive CPR app it's easier than ever to learn.
Signs of Cardiac Arrest:
• Sudden collapse.
• No pulse or breathing.
• Unresponsive to touch or voice.
• Wheezing or irregular breathing (labored breathing).
If you notice these signs, act immediately: Call emergency services and begin CPR.
When to start CPR:
CPR should be started as soon as cardiac arrest is suspected. Delays reduce the victim's chances of survival.
CPR (chest compressions without mouth-to-mouth resuscitation) is effective and easy to perform:
1. Place hands on center of chest.
2. Squeeze hard and fast at a rate of 100-120 times per minute.
Learn with the Revive CPR App: The Revive CPR App provides step-by-step instructions, videos and tips to help you safely detect a cardiac arrest and perform CPR. Download the app today to learn life-saving skills and make a world of difference in an emergency. Remember, every second counts.
