And not just when he became Team Leader either, this song also reminds me a lot of his first few moments as Cale Henituse. Of course, this fits him as when he became Team Leader too! But it also fits as his time as Cale Henituse before he decided to BECOME Cale Henituse.

This is a comment from that very same song, and after reading through it I find it so similar to KRS!Cale's situation. Ah, also, this al is just my interpretation so don't take anything as canon! This also contains spoilers to the end of Part 1 of the Novel.

As Team Leader, we know how he became the person he became because that was the only method he knew he could use to survive. To live. To continue to go on even after Team 1's demolishment. He dislodged himself from most of his identity in a way, and only used the useful bits of himself, (i.e. Record, Instant, and his experiences) to be a good team leader worthy of being Lee Soo Hyuk's predecessor. And by doing that, he loses touch of himself.

When he became Cale Henituse, he kept referring to himself as Kim Rok Soo at least in the beginning. It was much after that he began thinking of himself as Cale and even later he fully accepted his identity.

Until that point, he also kept himself away from the world in a way. That the "characters" he met were all just a means to an end. That they held no actual value to him, when, spoilers alert, they did. He kept referring back to [The Birth of a Hero], not just to survive in this world, but to remind himself that he is in a fictional world that doesn't and shouldn't matter to him in any way.

And when people started praising him as a hero, it must've reminded him partially of his time as Team Leader of Team 1. He feels disconnected from their reality. From their world. From their story because he doesn't view "himself" as "one of them". He couldn't understand why they were praising him, admiring him, and, for some, starting to care about him, when he shouldn't even exist in this world.

He's not Cale Henituse, he's Kim Rok Soo.

The amazing thing about TCF is how he gradually starts to accept this supposedly fictional world as his own even before learning about the whole Nealon Barrow/Choi Jung Gun debacle. It was slowburn, but at the end, seeing Cale happy at the end was all worth it. (Even though he's still suffering trying NOT to become a god, at least he isn't as alone as he was when he first became Cale :D)

Hi! I don't know if it's just me but has there been a lull in the Dramione fandom since a year? 2-3 years ago it was wild over here and suddenly it's very quiet?

I started reading Reyo fics until some new Dramione fics came around and even then after so many months I just can't find any good engaging Dramione stories. The only fic I'm enjoying right now is Détraquée by Hystaracal.

What is your opinion? Am I missing out on something or has the Dramione craze has gone down a bit?

No, I think it is still busy in the fandom.

There are just more social media platforms to use now and people are turning away from Tumblr. But Dramione is hot on Tiktok, Reddit has a big Dramione page which rivals our blog lol, also there are still those FB groups that many people prefer if they want to actively engage with fans like themselves.

I think this is a Tumblr thing really, people are just not using this platform as much anymore since other ones are more suited for communicating between people.

I'm not a magnet in the same sense as an extrovert like reyo but I'm a magnet for other introverts and I guess people like denso for example who likes adopting cute people in vr, or anyone with phantom sense who spends more than 5 seconds being petted by me and start falling asleep. People find me chill and easy to talk to because of my natural disposition and overall intuition while also finding me cute and my touch in vr on the level of a masseur.

Though that last part really mystifies me cause any time I draw it's obvious how difficult it is for me to keep my hands steady in the air, but I guess that level of precision isn't needed for petting people until they start yawning. It's almost comical how consistently people react to it, both friends and people I've just met all react exactly the same way in such a short time period. I think Choskey is the only one who doesn't have any sort of reaction to phantom sense but he's always looking for something else from me of course. But yeah 5-15 seconds of me petting someone and I can almost immediately get them to start dozing off. If you're even remotely susceptible to phantom sense, I can bring it out almost immediately, and I just do what I usually do for Lupy.
