Hi! I'm curious how exactly your laundromat works? Do you have sims first buy Lamare's cleaning supplies at the shop (so that already costs them money) and then they'll have to pay again to use the machines? Or something different? And where is that little box of brochures (?) on the counter from please?

I just did what @teaaddictyt did in her video on Simple Laundry, where she shows you how to run a player-owned laundromat. It is easier to setup (in comparisons to Sun & Moons Laundry mod) as you do not have to put the washing machines/dryers into 'Laundromat mode.'

The sims will come in with their bags of laundry and use the machines. Most times they don't stay long enough to put their washing into the dryers but no, they don't need to buy the supplies beforehand, or at least, that wasn't the case when I was on the lot with my business owner in charge.

antisocialbunnysims asked me if I knew where these paintings were and I won't lie, it's a struggle trying to find the recolour. 🤣 My fault for using a lot of maxis recolours, when I downloaded them ages ago!

I found the files in my Downloads folder and I've shared them on my SimsFileShare. But I am actively looking for the original creator's link. When I do, I will be replace this link with the original creator's one.

The one thing I do know is that they are on a one-tile version of Artig by AndreasKriegsloch that came with Freetime EP and you can download that here.

I'm really looking forward to showing you all what I've written up so far! I went all out with the posts and I think I've got quite a bit of Strangertown to keep you all occupied for a time. It's a slightly different format but I like how it's coming along.

I've technically not finished Renovating Strangertown, but I've done the majority that I can start doing some screenshots for it!

The first post will be on Wednesday. I'm just tying up the lose end for the Residents household, and then Campbell Quay will go on a mini-hiatus.

BTW, I don't know if this is something you'd be interested in doing, but since you've shown an interest in the PSP Strangetown, there are emulators you can download to play it on your PC (word of warning, it's a very old console game so the graphics aren't up to much, but the story is quite interesting for what it is!)

That sounds very interesting! I’ve heard of emulators but never really understood how they work! Looks like I have some Googling to do!

I’ve also seen that there are people playing the game on YouTube but I think I’d rather play it for myself. Even though, I have a few spoilers as I’ve gone through that wiki a lot that past week! XD

I was browsing through @keoni-chani's WCIF tag one day and saw she answered one which is the same download link as what you're asking for. The white border is part of the same set as the wooden ones she was asked to find.

I'm a little confused, what do you mean by requesting a custom sim? Do you mean you want me to upload one of my characters for download, or me creating a sim's background for you?

I'm not going to upload the CQ Sims yet, unless it's Sylvie Morgan, which you can downloads for yourself here as she was submitted by @andrisims and therefore, I cannot take any credit for her creation. The question has been asked before about me uploading the sims but I'm still not ready to upload them yet, and it might well be a while yet before I do.

I'd be happy to help you make up a character if you wish, but in truth, I use a lot of random generators, combined with names I like. I then pop the sim in my game and then wing it for the most part in how that character grows. 

I am AWFUL at creating unique/pretty faces in Body Shop to look good, but I know there is a method that can help. I’ve yet to try that out myself.

If I've misunderstood, please let me know in the replies below!
