dumping this here because it was for a christmas fic i never finished but

i had this idea of scorpius being obsessed with knitting. he's an excitable guy, always obsessed with something. and i had this lovely idea of supportive dad draco buying him colour-changing wool -> like a mood ring, the wool changes colour to fit the person's emotions

and then scorpius would go and visit the potters at their little coffee shop in shrewsbury (lovely place, recommend) and he's never been before !!

so james shows him around, they do loads of activities together etc etc and it's a kind of,,, you can feel the tension. like when you're knitting and you keep going back to count your stitches because you MUST be missing something???

and he makes james a lil beanie with no ulterior motive, he just says his ears get cold a lot and scorpius likes knitting. BOOM.

slow burn has ended. the beanie has answered everything. james likes him back.

and draco has to cope with the fact he is now forever linked with the potter family because he was a Good Dad and bought some wool one day

Why must there be so many art commission scammers?

Every single time I post a new art piece I get someone coming in and asking if I do commissions. Sometimes I sus it out immediately sometimes I get my hopes up at money that could really help and then always get let down.

Why would you try and scam a small artist? That’s the worst kind of bad.

Just stop it and get some help and leave my art alone.

This feels weirdly personal lmao because there is .... So much of me inside these. I really love a song lyric huh??? 😅 I'm just not gonna think about it. None of them are on the internet because I don't post wips. Most of them probably never will be, but they were fun to dream about in their time. I also have a few wips/ideas not mentioned. Otherwise I'd be here all day and you'd be scrolling to high hell, and I don't want to be directly responsible for someone going to hell. I mean I'm not known for being succinct (case in point) but whatever.

Just wanted to say to my fellow artists on here that do commissions : if a client asks you for your paypal email because ‘it’s easier for me duh’ IT’S A SCAM! I almost got trapped in this like 2 minutes ago and it infuriates me.

A guy told me that he wanted to pay me 200$ dollars for 3 drawings of his son’s dog. At first everything was okay but when i send him my Paypal username he said that he prefer to have my PayPal email bc it’ll be easier for him. (which was very weird but i’m slow)

Then i received an email (which in reality isn’t from the real Paypal, it was servicepaypal.intl.cm@gmail.com ) saying that there was a problem and that i needed to send 200$ dollars to him so that he can send them again to me after i create a business account.

In reality there is no such limits for receiving this amount of money. This guy asked me for my email only for me to receive this scam. He even send me a ‘proof’ that he send me the money. It looked so real omg.

So please don’t be dumb like me and never log into your Paypal account through a weird ahh email like the one i received 💀 I had to delete my Paypal account because of that.
