👏🏼This 👏🏼 was 👏🏼 so 👏🏼 well 👏🏼 done!! With as much time that's she's spent surrounded by agents not to mention working directly under Jackson-fucking-Lamb, of course she would learn how to pick up on the nuances of her surroundings in times of distress. But I like that they didn't just turn her into a perfectly capable agent right away. She is still a civilian, so her reaction and affect at first would be fear, and she played it so well. The pacing of her going from fear to strategic(ish?) thinking was believable for her character. I agree, I think they should train her and let her be an actual agent.

the hand-holding being a big deal??? truly poetic cinema??? alec being nervous about leading a mission and the camera slowly pans in on magnus reaching across the table and lacing his fingers with alec’s and giving it a reassuring squeeze to let him know that he’s there, that he’ll always be there, and alec just smiles at him and squeezes back because the weight of magnus’ hand in his own reminds him that he’s not alone, that he can do this

them in bed together with magnus pressed against alecs back and his arm is around his waist then as alec wakes up he reaches down and holds magnus’ hand and brings it to his lips and kisses his knuckles and whispers “good morning” in that raspy little voice of his

magnus exhausting his magic whilst they’re hunting demons and alec notices the slight tremor in his hands and the sweat thats starting to form on his forehead so he drops what he’s doing and grabs magnus’ free hand almost instinctively so he can use his strength to keep himself going?? wow i love husbands who are so in tune with each other bye
