Rayne dropped out of school to work on a fishing boat but got into hot water & needs to lay low. Marquise took the teen in & now they're becoming friends & connecting over their love of cooking. But will Rayne's past come back to haunt them? Will Marquise's paranormal tampering bring trouble?

The swamp of the forgotten

Since the creation of the all-powerful, the world has been ruled by several species of creature. Among these races, there are several categories: the Elves. The Elves themselves have been separated into several peoples over the centuries. The Grey Elves, rejected by all sides and living on the bangs of the human race, have become primitive. Living off little and close to nature, their existence remains discreet and mysterious. Nevertheless, they are formidable warriors and practice druidic magic.

Here's a 50x50 plot for download. I needed to create a special world for this race, which was inspired by a French writer by the name of Fetjaine (this author influenced my adolescence). Unfortunately, I couldn't find a construction CC to suit my imagination. So I converted 4 objects from a 3D modeling site and incorporated them into my terrain (It's purely aesthetic!). You can find them as a detached link if you're interested. However, they are converted on an "Eco Lifestyle" basis.

For those who know me, I'm a fan of fantasy. So I made the terrain mystical with birch trees with shimmering leaves and red flowers (I know, I'm a bit perched 😅) but it's a change from the swamps we know. I'd like to thank the creators of CC for allowing me to build this atypical world. You'll find a non-exhaustive list of creators' names here, as well as my "Tray" folder. It's also perfect for those who want a touch of fantasy and survivalism (Sims live in huts). I hope you enjoy the game, and don't hesitate to share your screenshots with me!

I've never mentioned it here from what I can remember (but I could be wrong) but there are some Sims 4 packs that I just hate their aesthetics, and wish EA had just really made a recreation of what was in the Sim 3 but with modern graphics.

Like I don't like the aesthetics of Spell Casters in Sims 4, it's very wizard/sorcerer-y, wizard tower full of books and fancy (expensive) trinkets, very fancy shmancy hidden magical world that reeks vaguely of Harry Potter's influence.

Awful, tacky, probably smells like their fake not-alcohol they sell at Universal Studios.

I like the Sims 3 Supernatural witch aesthetics far, far more. They've got a proper witch feeling.

Like "Ah yes! This is a working class bitch who lives next to a bog, and turns her enemies into newts, and can also do midwifery" proper witch vibes.

Along with the alchemist "breaking the laws of nature to learn what man (Sim?) should not know" tidbits we also get. That to, that's also missing.

And then there's the fact that there are multiple Sims 4 DLCs (though not all are packs, some are kits) that have aesthetics that are so unique that they don't fit into just about any build in any world.

Take Courtyard Oasis. It's based on traditional Moroccan riads (traditional house), which based in Moorish architecture.

When we don't even have a single world in the Sims 4 that is based on any location in Africa. At all. Sims 3 at the very least had Egypt, but the Sims 4 doesn't even have that.

Or any Middle Eastern countries, or anywhere Moorish architecture is most often found. There is no where you can use Courtyard Oasis that doesn't look wildly out of place, unless you want to be rebuilding the entire town.

Like you could maybe sneak it into Tartosa, which is based off of a mix of Spain & Italy. Because Morocco and Spain are geographically speaking about as close as two countries can get without sharing a boarder. So Moorish architecture is found in the Andalusia region (the most southern region, closest to Morocco) of Spain.

But again you'd have to work to incorporate it into Tartosa, because it pretty obviously wasn't intended to be there from the start.

Which is an absolute shame, because the build objects in Courtyard Oasis are stunning, and an entire world based on Morocco would be incredible.

Anyways the shiny wizard tower aesthetic is not to my taste. Which means I will forever have an awkward lore shaped hole in my game due to me having all the other occult packs, of which multiple directly reference Spell Casters.

Also EA 1000% needs to hurry up and make a world set in Africa already. It's like the only populated continent that doesn't even have a vacation world, even though in Sims 3 we at least had Egypt.

My first build made for my first Sims 4 blog! It's a witch's hut made for my spellcaster sim and her cat, located in a small swamp. Build in Henford-on-Bagley, replacing Cordelia's secret cottage. 1 Bed, 1 Bath, Lot Size 30x20.
