So like took a day off work because I really think I needed it after 5 months.

So far the job has been alright, obviously way better than my “first” one. Not that people need to know.

But like when I was speaking to my mom about work recently and I think she might have gotten the impression that I was being taken advantage of? And it took me a while to explain to her that I wasn’t like this is meant for the library to do. But then I see where her point is like the person could have submitted a request to get the books down instead of me.

But (sorry with the many connective words) at the same time they were also asking me like if I had space in the library and if I could keep some in there and it wasn’t like “oh please keep everything in the library” then I would have to say something because although I do have space, I don’t want to give the impression that the library is a dumping ground.

Anyways- it has came to a point where like I’m slowly seeing the not so good things about work (BUT don’t get me wrong, not like at the sight of the first bad thing I’ll skiddle out of the door).

I’m totally aware of how hard I had to fight for this job and honestly I want to learn as much as I can and see the next step before making a decision. Besides, I haven’t used my benefits yet lmao hahaha.

On the other hand, the positives of not having find a full time librarian (yeah cuz the librarian left the country 2 months into my job) is that I get to really explore a little what she did and add things to my experience.
