CHAPTER THIRTEEN. dark red (smau + written)

You paced around while you waited for your friends to arrive. Although Keeho said they understood, you were still anxious at what’d they really have to say.

You took a deep breath once you finally heard the door open, you had practiced what you were going to say over. As they all piled into your living room they each gave you a hug before sitting down wherever they decided.

“Okay so me and Jungwon are dating again uhm for around a week now? After support your local artists night he kinda just kept popping up everywhere and uh we kinda sorta hooked up at Jake and Sunoo’s party” You friends all just stared at you watching you explain yourself not really showing emotions which made you more scared.

“I promise we talked about everything before getting back together and we decided it’d be best if we didn’t tell anyone until we were for sure in a good place. That’s why I haven’t really been around anymore and i’m sorry.” You kept your head down and waited for someone else to speak but instead you feel arms wrapped around you.

You look up to see Lilly’s pink hair falling over your shoulder as she hugs you from the side, “I know he hurt you before Y/n and if you trust him then I trust you but don’t think i’ll warm up quickly!”

You both laugh a little and look to the boys with an expectant look with Keeho deciding to speak up first, “Like I said earlier, we understand why you hid it and never said anything but we did miss our friend so please tell him i’ll be sending you with custody papers.”

“Yeah we missed you a lot! Keeho made me hang out with that Soul kid a few times, he’s definitely something else”, Kai says getting up to join you and Lily in a group hug. You turn to Jiung very unsure of what he’ll say.

“You’re an adult and you can make your own decisions but if that doesn’t work out im still here for you. Just know I won’t be waiting around forever, Jiungs of high demand”, he says shrugging his shoulders but giving you a toothy grin. You burst up laughing at him leaving your other friends a little confused until they put it together, “AHA I KNEW YOU GUYS WERE FOOLING AROUND”, Keeho says slapping Jiung playfully. “Yeah imagine what it’s like rooming with Y/n, all I wanted was to rest from idol life but no”, Lily says rolling her eyes making you scoff.

“We never did it while you were here!?” “Yeah maybe you didn’t mean to but why do you think every time I come in I make a lot of noise?”, you groan and throw your face into your hands hearing the rest of the group laughing.

After the hangout was coming to an end you finally felt content. You no longer had to hide from your friends and neither did Jungwon, especially with Sunoo on your cases.

“So after all the info settled, how are you guys feeling?”, you ask picking up trash and dishes left around the apartment. “We still love you, unfortunately, and It’ll definitely get some getting used to but when we’re ready we’ll add him to a group chat.” Keeho says, the rest of the group agreeing and making you release a sigh of relief.

CHAPTER ELEVEN. the rainy night (written)

As you were pacing around your apartment, you heard a knock at the door, the one you were anticipating.

You hesitated, you didn’t know what to expect to happen when you opened the door but you did it anyways.

There he was, just like he said, Jungwon stood there at your door completely soaked from the rain outside.

You two just stared at each trying to figure out the right words to say but you break the awkwardness by pulling him inside, “you’ll get sick if you keep standing in the rain”.

He still stood still in front of the door after you closed it behind him, the only sound in the room coming from the rain hitting your windows and door.

“Hello?”, you ask trying to figure out why he made such a big deal about coming over if he wasn’t going to say anything.

He finally snaps out of his thoughts and looks straight into your eyes, catching you off guard at his changed demeanor.

“I came here to prove to you that I meant what I said in those text messages, I came here to prove that…”, he pauses before he begins again, “To prove that I still love you, Y/n”.

He walked closer to you, grabbing your hands and holding them in his, “Y/n ever since that day all i’ve done is think about you. My heart wants to go back to one space, with yours, where it belongs.”

His eyes are pleading as he expresses his feelings but your face is blank. “Y/n please.”, Jungwon begs but you stay frozen, your mind not letting you process his words as it’s filled with your own feelings.

“Y/n, we both know that what happened that night wasn’t me! I was stressed and overwhelmed and I didn’t know how to destress so it was all built up and I took it all out on you and i’m sorry. Really truly sorry Y/n.”

“I think I need to step outside”, you say and speed walk to the door, all of these feelings swirling in the air made you lose your breath, you were overwhelmed and the only thing you wanted to do was breathe.

“Y/n wait!”, Jungwon says trying to grab your hand again but it was too late as the hard rain had already began to drench you. The water was cold and rough immediately bringing you back to your senses and you finally break down, letting all those pent up feelings come out.

Jungwon immediately runs out the door to you, he didn’t care that he hadn’t even dried up from previously being in the rain, he didn’t care that he was most definitely getting sick after this, what he cared about was you.

As you’re crying, Jungwon stays quiet he’s kneeling next to you so you know he’s there but not touching you so you can just focus on breathing. When you finally stop you look over to him, he was already staring at you with worry written all over his face and you finally speak up again, “I think… I still love you”.

You say it quietly but he still heard, he felt like pulling you up and hugging you and kissing you and being excited but he knew that wasn’t what you needed at the moment so he just stays calm instead, “So then what does that mean for us?”, he asks.

“I still want to be with you Jungwon. I just don’t know if we can go back to what he had”, you continue to stare at him waiting for a response, you truly couldn’t tell what he was thinking.

“I get that, maybe then we should go on a date, multiple dates! We should see if we can really work it out before we tell anyone or get anyone else involved.”, hearing him talk so maturely made you feel like you could trust him and you felt secure in your decision.

“I think you’re right won, thank you.”, you say and smile at him, “But I hope there’s one thing we don’t have to wait on.”

Jungwon looks at you with a curious look on his face until you softly grab his face and place a kiss onto his lips. You could tell he wants to deepen it but instead he pulls away with pink tinted cheeks, “As romantic as it is to be kissing you in the rain, I really think we should go inside or we’ll have a cold for weeks.”

A/N! i hope this didn’t seem too rushed, i wasn’t really sure how to approach this chapter and it took multiple days to really have inspiration so i apologize if it’s shitty fr😖😖😖

CHAPTER SEVEN. i don’t know you (written)

Finally laying down in your own room, on your own bed you can relax.

The big breathe you exhale releasing all the tenseness in your body, releasing all the stress and nerves from today.

The room was quiet, all you could hear was your own breath.

For the first time in a while, you were truly alone with your thoughts.

You were finally able to process everything that happened today, there was that rush of adrenaline from being in front of the crowd but there was a lingering sense of a negative emotion you couldn’t quite pin point yet.

‘it’s too quiet in here’, you think and bring yourself to get up from your bed.

You walk over to your desk and kneel down to rummage through one of the drawers.

Finally after searching deep enough is your speaker, picking it up and turning it on to connect to your phone and picking a random playlist.

The smooth guitar of the song feels almost nostalgic.

Placing your phone down, you catch a glimpse of something bright red in your peripheral catching your attention.

Getting a good look at it you realize it’s an old photo book, one of you and Jungwon.

Those emotions that were once forgotten came rushing back as quickly as they left.

You hesitate but you decide to open it anyways.

The first picture is just a polaroid of you two holding the book.

‘Why did you have to choose the most obnoxious bright red one?’

‘It’s as bright as the love i have for you!’

‘oh my god that is so corny’

As you’re flipping through the book every picture came alive as a memory you’d forgotten.

Suddenly you realize your heart aches at the memories and you’re fighting back the tears that are pooling in your eyes.

Earlier today you were singing in front of a crowd smiling and sweaty and now only a few hours later here you are, a light stream of tears making their way down your face.

As you cry every emotion out of your body, you realize you still loved him.

Although Jungwon had seemed like a different person at the end of your relationship those feelings seemed to have never faded.

You said you hated him and these feelings but you couldn’t hate him, no matter how hard you tried to push him away you just couldn’t.

That night before when you went to bed, you were exhausted, immediately falling into deep sleep as soon as your head hit the pillows.

At this point, you had given up on waiting for Jungwon to go to bed with you, instead just falling asleep when you wanted to which was always before him.

Recently he was quiet, you didn’t think much of it though you just assumed he was stressed due to whatever exam he had to study for.

This night was different though.

Wether or not you considered yourself to be a heavy sleeper, you heard his frustrated groan and the way he pushed open your bedroom door angrily.

At this, you tossed to your other side now facing the boy who didn’t know you were even conscious.

Finally you felt the weight of his next to you, but this time it felt different.

It felt strange, like you didn’t recognize the person lying next to you.

You open your eyes, expecting to see your boyfriend’s face but instead you’re met with the back of his head.

He fell asleep facing away from you, something neither of you did unless one of you fell asleep way before the other.

With the way he’s laying as far as possible from you, at the very edge of the bed

It’s seems like he’s a stranger.

The next morning when you wake up, he’s already gone.

You check the bathroom and everywhere but he’s already left your house without even a text.

‘Who even is he anymore?’

With your phone already out, you send him a message.

-> “Hey Won, can we talk?”

<- “Sorry, can’t.”

-> “You don’t even have classes today”

<- “Studying”

-> “Can you come over then at least?”

<- “Ig”

For another hour you waited for him to arrive.

When he finally walked through the door, he sighed.

It was a loud and over-exaggerated on purpose, he wanted you to know that he didn’t want to be there and it inconvenienced him.

Walking into the living room where you were sitting he threw his school bag on the floor, getting ready to immediately dive back into his work.

“Hello to you too I guess”, you say as you roll your eyes.

He doesn’t answer, his actions are making you become more and more annoyed.

“Jungwon”, you call out, “Busy”, he replies.

Now you’ve had enough, the last thing you wanted was for those deep emotions to become worse so you decide to calm down in your room.

“If you’re going back to sleep, can I leave?”

You freeze, it feels as though all the anger that was threatening to spill out had just exploded inside you.

“You know what Yang, yes you can leave and while you’re at it go fuck yourself too”

Now it’s his turn to freeze, you can clearly see his stunned face grow sour.

“Fuck me? You’re the one who begged me to come here when I obviously didn’t want to”, Now he’s standing up.

“Because you’re my boyfriend! You’re supposed to want to be here and around me!”, your voice starts quivering as it grows in volume.

“Oh i’m sorry i’m not a good enough boyfriend for you.”, his tone was mocking you as he rolled his eyes.

It’s quiet for a few seconds as you try to hold back your tears even though unknowingly to you they’ve already fallen.

“Do you not love me anymore?”, you never wanted to say this out loud but it was the only thing you could think of as you cried yourself to sleep every once in a while.

“Look Y/n, you’re just not”, he pauses clearly frustrated with trying to understand his own mind.

“You’re not my main focus right now, not my main priority. You’re honestly the last thing on my mind right now and having you around is constantly distracting and honestly annoying.”

Something in you snaps, “If that’s really how you feel Yang, then we’re done. I never want to see your face again.”

“Okay.”, he says, his face and tone being hard to read.

Thankfully he hardly took his stuff out so it was easy for him to pick up and leave.

It seemed almost too easy for him to leave.

A/N ! was this angsty enough? honestly this chapter ties in with a line in erase and i did that not on purpose but it makes me excited🤩

jungwon honestly never expected to see you again.

from the way things ended it felt like you had completely slipped from his fingers, permanently erased from his world.

he says he doesn’t, but there’s a part of him that knows he’s lying not only to other people but mainly to himself.

the thought of “what went wrong?” clouded his mind every night since you guys ended things.

why else would he never tell his friends that the girl they recently talk so much about, was none other than the girl he thought he’d marry.

jay is the only person who knows about you and jungwon, and he plans on keeping it that way per jungwon’s request.

when jay and jungwon met they clicked almost instantly.

although their traits were different, the connection had felt like long lost brothers.

jungwon seemed more comfortable and relaxed mentioning something about his new girlfriend.

at the time, you two had only barely gotten together, so any proof of you two together wasn’t anywhere to be found.

park didn’t listen much though, he was too busy staring at someone from afar.

jongsung knew he had heard your name before.

he was never sure from where but he felt deep down he had to get to know you, even if it was just as friends.

it wasn’t hard to find you though, it seems as though you and him had a mutual friend, jungwon.

he stalked your twitter for a bit, no signs of a romantic parter, mostly photos of you and your friend group.

finally he pressed follow, not soon after he got the notification.

y/n m/n followed you back!

afterwards it felt like he was seeing you all the time now, finally realizing you two had a class together.

ah, so that’s why she followed me back so quickly.

he was wrong though, anytime someone follows your twitter you ask about them to any moots you have in common.

“hey won, do you know who this guy is?”

“oh him? yeah he’s that guy i was telling you about!’” he says as his eyes squint with excitement,

“i know he might look like a douche but he isn’t”

and so you follow him back.

jay was interested, something about you pulled him in like magnet

y/n, the name was so familiar but he couldn’t figure it out, no matter how hard he tried.

he figured maybe it was because your teacher always called out names of students to make sure they were present.

he never internalized it too deeply.

after class one day, he finally decided to go up and talk to you.

more like ask you on a date so he could get to know you better,

“y/n right?” he says as he tapped your shoulder.

“yeah! and you’re park right? we just became twitter mutuals?”

every time you had a question you tilted your head to the side, he noticed.

“yeah that’s me” he answers, laughing a bit.

there’s a bit of silence between you two before you both hear someone yelling your name.

once jay focuses, he realizes it’s the cat looking boy he had met only a few days prior.

he turns back to you, your eyes lit up at the sight of the younger boy.

“you two finally met!”

now it’s jay’s turn to tilt his head, what did he mean ‘finally’?

that thought vanishing once he peered down at your fingers intertwined with his.

“of course, you talked so much about her at this point i know more about her than you yang”

jungwon turned pink but you laughed.

“anyways! now that we’re all familiar we should all hang out sometime, whenever you’re free of course hyung”

“i’m sure we could figure something out”

jungwon was grateful for jay, he was glad to have had someone around during and after the breakup.

he was a mess and he knew it too, he would lash out on jay but he always apologized after.

eventually the older boy got tired of the moping and anger coming from him and gave him the most serious talk of his life.

afterwards, he learned to cope in ways that didn’t effect others.

music became his escape, while he did sports and taekwondo to release anger, he sang to release sadness and longing.

every time he had his headphones on there was only one song ever playing.

JUNGWON POV.

While he loved being around his friends, he was still an introvert and after watching your performance he definitely needed to think alone.

Walking outside to the porch area of the cafe, the cool night breeze hits his face making him exhale the breath he didn’t even know he was holding.

Once he inhales again he realizes he smelled something, it was lingering as the wind hadn’t blown it completely away yet.

The scent he realizes was familiar, one that he thought he forgot.

Just when those memories start to come back, as he turns the corner there you are.

You hadn’t noticed him walking towards you, you were standing still smiling at whatever was coming in on your right.

He was gonna try to make it past you without you noticing but it was too late when a blonde haired jiung joined your side, throwing his arm over your shoulder, you finally turned into his direction.

‘ah shit’, he thinks as you both make eye contact making him come to an awkward stop in front of you two.

“hey?”, you say shifting uncomfortably.

“hey”

“how are you?”

“i’m doing okay”, he lies and you could tell, jiung could tell.

The other boy clears his throat as he looks down at his phone, “y/n, keeho says he needs us back inside”

“right”, you turn around and give a wave goodbye seeming as if you couldn’t wait to leave that conversation.

As you fade out of sight, jungwon realizes his heart is pounding, a kind of pound in his heart that feels like it’ll explode.

Inhaling your scent once again, a chill runs down his spine.

‘The temperature right now is -248 degrees’ he thinks to himself, when did it get so cold?

As he finally brings himself back into reality, he continues his forgotten path, trying to shake his mind of you.

Seeing you with Jiung, it made him realize that you had already moved on.

Your life continued to change with the seasons, you erased him, you forgot him.

At the end of his walk he came to a conclusion,

you were the only planet he wanted to orbit.

He wishes that he could be the one casually throwing his arm around you, the one that made you smile just by the mere sight of him.

The smile that shines so brightly, it’s as warm as the sun.

He’s painfully aware of the fact that no matter what he’ll continue to orbit you like he hasn’t stopped doing.

But during the beginning of the end of your relationship, keeping you two apart, appeared a smoky layer of mist in the heart of the stars.

Eventually that mist became so thick the darkness and growth of it began pulling you and him apart.

Once feeling like he had just as much meaning as the Earth, belonging in a world under the sun.

The boy was now just going in circles, a meaningless orbit 6,289,000,000 miles away from you.

A/N! this chapter is so short but it took me so long omg😭😭😭 if you couldn’t tell this chapter is based off the lyrics and storyline of 13430 by bts (my literal favorite song ever), ik it’s been a lot of jw pov but next chapter will hopefully be longer as it’s all just y/n’s pov!! also the i got the translation of lyrics by genius so i apologize if it’s not correct🫠 but the chapter will make so much sense if you read it and look at the annotations!!!

THE NEXT DAY-

“aaaaaaaalrighty hello everyone!! If you don’t already know me, my name is park sunghoon, and i’m going to be your host for the evening!”

Park Sunghoon, you didn’t know him well but you were grateful for him in this moment.

Sunoo presented the idea to you seeing as the campus loves you and the cafe has been getting so much business since you released your music.

“c’mon y/n it’ll be fun! plus you’re kinda in charge of the cafe so what could go wrong?”

eventually, you caved in, jake came in and backed sunoo up.

How could you say no to those two?

Afterwards was when sunghoon was introduced.

It seemed as though he was made to be an MC or as if he’d done it before…

“I hope everyone is enjoying themselves so far, performances are going to be starting soon, beginning with a good friend of mine, Sim Jake!”

A few people scream in response, sunghoon laughs.

“Seems as though he has a few fans! Well, I hope you guys are ready cause here he is!”

A FEW HOURS LATER -

The time seemed to be going by fast, too fast.

The nervousness was starting to build up in your stomach, itching up your body higher and higher until you were trying to swallow it down.

You’d never performed for a crowd, you hardly did it for your friends besides jiung.

The boy with blonde hair turns to you, he noticed the way your leg bounced up and down and the way you kept biting your lip

“y/n stop biting you’re gonna get a blister.”

“it’s kinda too late for that I think”

as keeho’s set comes to an end you hear the claps and cheers of the crowd on the other side of the wall.

“He did really well huh jiung”

“you will too, you already know the campus loves you and your music”

“yeah you’re right”

Jiung grabs and squeezes your hand before standing up.

“Are you ready now?”

You nod, he smiles and kisses your head grabbing your hand and pulling you up to your feet.

“Isn’t Keeho just a charmer? Up next we have our rising star y/n l/n!”

“Deep breaths, take deep breath’s”

Keeho comes through the door and immediately comes to you, “you’ll do amazing y/nnie, they have good taste they’ll love you”

you nod and take a deep breath in making your way to the door and through it.

Stepping through, the lights blinded you and the cheers scared you for a moment but eventually it helped you calm down.

“Uh hi everyone! My name is Y/n L/n and thank you so much for coming tonight!”

You smile as the crowd cheers once again.

“Tonight i’ll be performing a few songs actually, one of which of course you guys have heard, the next one will be a duo with Jiung and then the last two will be covers! Thank you all for coming again and I hope I meet your guy’s expectations”

Although you’re not really moving during your performance, the way you glow with sweat progresses with time.

The aura of the night was a good one, one that you realize made you feel silly for being nervous.

“I’m not gonna be the one to get hurt”

As you sing the final lyric you feel a new feeling, you feel like you could go on and on forever up on this stage.

That feeling didn’t last when you decided to take a look at the crowd finally.

As you sweep the audience at all the screaming and clapping people you notice him.

The air gets caught in your throat as you both make eye contact.

You both just stare, until you realize Sunghoon has come up beside you

“WOW wasn’t that just amazing? Y/n has a truly beautiful voice!”

You break the eye contact to look up at Sunghoon and smile, bowing to the audience as you make your way off the stage.

Walking through the door, all of your friends jump on you.

“WAAAAA Y/N YOU DID SO GOOD”

“Yeah you did way better than Keeho did!”

“Hello?? I’m right here you know”

“You did amazing y/n, you really didn’t even need me during our song”

Finally they all get off you and huddle you instead, “Thank you guys but Lily?? I didn’t even think you’d be able to be here!”

“Yeah no I just got lucky that we ended our schedule early, wouldn’t have mattered anyway JYP would’ve lived”

You laugh, everyone laughs, this feeling is one that makes you forget all your past problems except this time.

That feeling from the stage stuck with you, why was he there?

“CHOI JIUNG OPEN THE DOOOOOOOR”, the banging of the door causes you to jump off of jiung.

You turn back to the freshly blonde haired boy with the most scared expression.

“Stay here and make it look like we were messing with my studio stuff, okay?”, he says kissing you one last time before fixing his hair and walking out the door.

You quickly scramble to make it look like you guys were recording, logging onto his laptop and pulling up a random file just in time for your friends to pile in the room.

You and jiung had been secretly friends with benefits for a few months, of course both of you had been on your fair share of dates with other people but with jiung, it’s peace, comfort, and passion.

You both agreed to never mention it to your friend group cause honestly there wasn’t really much to mention, coming out and saying, “oh hey guys, btw jiung and i have been hooking up for the past few months” isn’t an ideal conversation.

“Took you guys long enough, oh my gosh”, keeho says dramatically while coming in and giving you a hug.

“The food was starting to get cold too”, kai says pouting, following keeho in and placing the food on the counter, “the least you guys could do is show us what you were working on”

“You guys came right in time, he was one second from breaking down the door i swear”, the pink haired lily says going straight to sit next to you.

You and jiung share a look, thank god you guys were actually recording before things started to take an explicit turn.

Just as you turned back to the group, huening picks up your opened notebook, “wow y/n, i didn’t know you wrote like this”, he says clearly interested in the lyrics written down.

Jiung never intruded on whatever happened with you and your ex, whatever you told him is what he knows and that’s that.

What he knows for certain is that you avoid him like celebrities to paparazzi, thankfully he never comes to the cafe, at least never when you’re working.

Jiung looks at you with a smile, those lyrics written down were about you and your progress moving on from him.

Although you weren’t as confident as jiung was in becoming and artist, he helped you realize that if you wanted to, you could.

Even if it weren’t exactly a year yet, you changed so much, not in a bad way of course, you just became more mature and perceptive.

What you and yang lacked was communication, even if you two loved each other, the best you could do for yourself was to keep moving on.

“The lyrics sound better when jiung sings them, he wrote the rap and i did the chorus it’s giving masculine energy more than feminine”, you say smiling at the group.

“Well then, let’s hear it!!”, lily says excitedly as the other two boys agree with just as much enthusiasm.

CHAPTER EIGHT. tread carefully (mostly written)

You decided if you were gonna go to this party, you were gonna get hammered and thankfully, Keeho always loved a little pregame session.

While you got ready, the boy prepared the shots along side Jiung, who was carefully rolling another blunt after the three of you had already finished the first one.

Wether or not you considered yourself a lightweight, you were already starting to feel your worries slip away and with a deep breath in you finally relaxed.

Eventually you finished getting ready and you felt amazing and they boys could tell you did as well, they smiled at each other feeling like the proud best friends of yours that they were.

When you arrived at the party, you and Keeho split ways with Jiung as you two made your way straight to a table full of different bottles of alcohol.

Instead of shots Keeho decided to just make a mixed drink for the two of you, he was the only one you could trust to get you drunk.

He knew what you liked and what you could handle plus you knew he wouldn’t drug you or anything so you had complete faith in him.

“I think i’m good with just this drink Keeho, thank you”, you gave him a kiss on the cheek and turned around to find any other people that you knew.

Almost immediately after you walked out of the kitchen you bumped into Jake, “I knew i’d find you in here, already made yourself a drink too! I hope you’re enjoying yourself so far.”

You never noticed it before but Jake really was handsome up close, the friendly smile he had on his face and his Australian accent truly made him seem like a dream.

You giggled, “Yeah it’s a Keeho special, he always makes my drinks, he’s the best at it.”

“Well I guess i’ll go find him and try it out for myself”, he said but he didn’t seem like he wanted to leave anytime soon.

“You can take a sip of mine if you’d like, he filled my cup to the brim there’s no way i’ll drink the whole thing”, you offer and he happily accepts.

You watched as he brought the cup up to his lips and when you looked up to his eyes you could see the mischievous glint in them.

You throw your head back and laugh and he swallows the sip he took, “Holy shit you were right, this is amazing!”

“You don’t need to go that far, Keeho’s ego is big enough”, you guys share a laugh again.

There’s a moment of silence as you two just stand and smile at each other until Jake speaks up again, “Man we’re both so gone”

You take another sip of your drink, “Yeah well I think I should go share some of this with some others”

“Yeah of course! Sunoo and the rest of our friends are around here somewhere, I hope you enjoy the rest of your night”, he says as he surprisingly pulled you in for a hug.

‘Yeah he’s so high right now’, you laughed to yourself and hugged him back.

“Thanks Jakey, you too”, you replied and wandered off to find Sunoo.

Somehow you found yourself outside and found Sunoo, as you creeped up behind him you jumped to hug him.

“Sunoooooo!! I’ve been looking forever for you”, he relaxed after being scared once he heard your voice and he turns around.

“Hi Y/nnie”, he giggles and throws his arms around you returning the embrace.

“You smell like weed”, you said and he laughs again, “Yeah well I think you don’t smell enough like weed”, he says back.

“I don’t know Sunoo I-“, you lost your train of thought as you notice someone behind him, you recognized him.

“On second thought, let’s go get fucked up”, you pulled him back inside to the kitchen without giving another glance to Jungwon who was staring at you two leaving.

Unlike before, Keeho was nowhere to be found in the kitchen, “Well I guess it’s about time I made my own drinks”.

You and Sunoo picked up different bottles putting them together to see if they’d sound good together or not.

Eventually you two gave up and just mixed whatever together, you two clinked your cups and cheersed downing the drink.

Immediately you two coughed, “Holy fuck i said fucked up not black out, that’s straight alcohol Sunoo!”

You two laughed and continued to attempt in chugging down the drink, “Fuck yeah, we’re not remembering tonight”.

You wiped your mouth and looked down at your drink, “No we are not, I finished mine already”

As you threw your cup away, you felt eyes on you causing you to look around and that’s when you saw him again.

Jungwon was staring so intensely so you decided to just walk up to him.

“Hey Sunoo, i’ll be right back okay?”, You turn back around to him and see him already making conversation with a new person.

You shake your head and make your way towards Jungwon, he was high and you could tell as it took him a moment to realize you were approaching him.

When he realized his eyes went wide, well as wide as they could, and he looked as if he wanted to run away as his eyes darted around looking for an escape.

“You spent all this time staring at me but now you wanna run away?”, You asked as you approached him, he looked tense.

He stayed quiet as you stared at him, You know what, you seem like you’re way too high to talk right now i’ll just le-“

“NO!”, he interrupted, “Uhm I mean, no I want to talk to you”, He said as he held onto your arm trying to keep you with him.

You looked down and he immediately released his hold on you, “Well if you wanna talk so bad then maybe you should say something instead of just staring at me”

“Yeah right, i’m sorry i’m just…”, He stares at you again for a moment, “I think i’m just super high right now and uh it’s not helping that you look really good and-“

“Yah, Jungwon I get it, you look good too”, You give him a small smile and he lets out a sigh and relaxed.

“You know, you’ve been around a lot lately, you stalking me or something?”, You watch as his face goes back to a panicked look.

“No definitely not, I promise! I guess we just have more mutual friends then we thought”, He says and points towards Sunoo who sends a wink your guys’ way.

You laugh, “You know Sunoo?”, He nods, “Mhm, him and Jake are the reason I even went to that event and this party.”

“Yeah I was actually really surprised to see you there, seeing as all you want to do is study”, You grab the drink he was holding and take a sip of it as he stares at you.

“You know i’m really sorry Y/n, I wish I could go back and undo everything I did and said”, The look in his eyes seemed genuine but you laughed it off.

“Jungwon, we’re both intoxicated you don’t know what you’re saying”, You look away from him but he softly grabs your chin and turns your face back towards his.

“Y/n, I sobered up the minute you told me I looked good! I mean it, I really am truly sorry about everything I sa-“, You cut him off by placing a kiss on his lips.

You sighed into the kiss as he relaxed at your touch, his lips were as soft as you remembered.

Suddenly the kiss deepened and it became more heated but before it could go any further you softly pushed him off.

His face was pink and he was breathing heavily just as you were, “We shouldn’t be doing this in front of everyone”

“You’re right”, He grabs your hand and takes you into one of the rooms.

“Jungwon, I don’t think we should hook up in a random room in Jake’s house”, The last thing you wanted to do was disrespect one of the few people you really enjoyed.

“Y/n this isn’t just Jake’s house”, finally you take a look around the room and your eyes land on a picture frame on the desk.

“Oh”, you said, the photo was of you and Jungwon, “Why do you still have this up?”.

He steps closer to you and scoffs which catches you off guard, “You still don’t understand? Y/n L/n, i’m still in love with you and I haven’t stopped.”

You search his eyes for any sign of a bluff but you can read his expression clearly, he was telling the truth.

He cups your face in his hands and his lips land on yours once again.

This time the kiss had more passion than any kiss you’d ever had before and before you knew it, your clothes were already on the floor.

“Well we didn’t fix it up for nothing, right?”

“EXACTLYYYYYY”, Keeho yells while barging in, “you didn’t think we’d miss your debut right?”

“Well Lily is since she’s doing idol stuff BUT, me, Keeho and Jiung are all here for your moment”, Kai says giving Keeho a fist bump.

Jiung chirps in again, “Plus we all now she’ll shout out the song in a live when she gets the chance.”

The boys continue their conversation while you disassociate, turning back to the phone watching the final seconds pass.
