Raman Research Institute Develops Cost-Effective Tunable Lasers for Quantum Optics Labs.
New Delhi: The Raman Research Institute (RRI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Science & Technology, has licensed a technology to produce multi-channel tunable laser systems to nexAtom Research and Instruments, its first spinoff company. This development promises to reduce costs for quantum optics laboratories and advance applications in medicine, remote sensing, geo-mapping, and space.
