Okay so I’ve been absolutely obsessed with @quanatural’s take on the various Lorre characters, but specifically Cairo. So, I thought that was a great excuse for me to draw the little gay nuisance again!

I also have loved seeing @faustiandevil’s ideas for a more queer positive Maltese Falcon! And i tried to sorta explore that in these doodles? Mainly with Spade, being less of an asshole and more of a grumpy dumbass whose comphet has blinded him from taking a chance with relationships he wants to explore.

(I also wanted to draw more of Gutman and Wilmer but I drew a blank so pls gimme suggestions-)
