Leaf's third installment in the Leaf Visual Novel Series was originally going to be a dark fantasy title before it evolved into To Heart. However, you can still see art for this scrapped concept in "Saorin to Issho," a fandisc released by Leaf in 1997.

One of the first games developed by Leaf was a 1995 RPG for the PC-98 called Filsnown. After it’s release, the developers were planning to make a sequel to the game but ended up scrapping the idea in order to created Shizuku. However, you can still see concept art for the cancelled sequel in the “Saorin to Issho” and “Hatsune no Naish” fandiscs.
