As aulas presenciais na Escola Municipal Francisco Benedicto Libardi, em Piracicaba (SP), foram suspensas até sexta-feira (9) devido à contaminação da água por tinta látex azul. 

Secretaria Municipal de Educação informou que a unidade está passando por reparos, incluindo pintura, e durante o último fim de semana, foi alvo de vandalismo: uma lata de tinta foi jogada no reservatório de água, causando a contaminação do líquido.

As aulas estão sendo ministradas remotamente. Essa medida foi definida entre o Sindicato dos Trabalhadores Municipais de Piracicaba e Região e a Secretaria de Educação da cidade. 

Segundo a Prefeitura, o setor de Manutenção trabalha para a resolução do problema – em conjunto com a empresa que realiza a reforma da escola – e faz higienização do reservatório, com apoio de caminhões-pipa enviados pelo Semae. Também foram trocados todos os filtros. Empresa especializada colheu amostras e laudos serão realizados para atestar a qualidade da água para consumo.

Até que os laudos fiquem prontos, a empresa responsável pela pintura vai fornecer água potável para a merenda e para consumo dos alunos e funcionários.

Dados do Boletim Hidrometeorológico Integrado do Estado mostram que, na última quinzena, Santa Catarina registrou expansão da área de estiagem principalmente no Oeste e Meio-Oeste. De acordo com o documento, divulgado nesta quinta-feira, 06, pela Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Econômico Sustentável (SDE), por meio da Secretaria Executiva do Meio Ambiente (Sema), 15 municípios estão em estado crítico frente à seca. No último relatório apresentado em abril, havia 11 cidades neste patamar. Entre os municípios em estado crítico de abastecimento devido à estiagem estão: Abdon Batista; Águas Frias; Anchieta; Bom Jesus do Oeste; Chapecó; Concórdia; Coronel Martins; Descanso; Dionísio Cerqueira; Guaraciaba; Monte Carlo; Planalto Alegre; São Miguel da Boa Vista; São Miguel do Oeste e Zortéa. Além disso, dos 283 municípios que encaminharam informações, 163 municípios estão em estado de normalidade; 97 de atenção, e oito em alerta. “O agravamento da situação de estiagem acontece devido aos baixos volumes de precipitação nos últimos dois meses, principalmente no interior. E as perspectivas de chuva para os próximos meses indicam um período ainda mais seco no trimestre. Com a piora nos estados de criticidade, persiste a estiagem prolongada em Santa Catarina”, afirma o secretário da Sema, Leonardo Ferreira. Diante da alta intensidade da seca hidrológica sobre o Estado, o comprometimento do abastecimento urbano em diversos municípios tende a se elevar. “Estamos seguindo, em parceria com as agências reguladoras, o acompanhamento junto às prestadoras de serviço de abastecimento urbano, para que as medidas de mitigação planejadas sejam efetivas, no sentido de reduzir os impactos da estiagem neste momento”, frisa o secretário, enfatizando a necessidade do uso racional e consciente por parte dos usuários de recursos hídricos e da população de modo geral em Santa Catarina. O Boletim Hidrometeorológico Integrado é um estudo quinzenal, coordenado pela SDE, por meio da Sema, juntamente com a Defesa Civil de Santa Catarina, Agência de Regulação de Serviços Públicos de Santa Catarina (Aresc) e outras agências reguladoras do Estado. Recomendações • Evite banhos demorados;• Mantenha a torneira fechada ao fazer a barba e ao escovar os dentes;• Antes de lavar os pratos e panelas, limpe bem os restos de comida e jogue-os no lixo;• Deixe a louça de molho na pia com água e detergente por uns minutos e ensaboe. Repita o processo e enxágue;• Adote o hábito de usar a vassoura e não a mangueira para limpar a calçada e o quintal de sua casa;• Não lave o carro durante a estiagem. Caso precise, use balde e pano para lavar o carro em vez de mangueira;• Use regador para molhar as plantas no lugar de mangueira;• Utilize a máquina de lavar somente quando estiver na capacidade total;• No tanque, feche a torneira enquanto ensaboa e esfrega a roupa;• Mantenha a válvula de descarga regulada, e conserte imediatamente vazamentos. 5 Artist Studio Must Haves

When it comes to the right studio space for any artist, some of us can be limited or find it hard to know what we need before we can sit down and draw. I have taken around 3 years to learn and build up the must have items I use every day for my commission work. In this blog I have laid out the 5 Artist Studio Must Haves I cannot live without including scanners and drawing board. Wooden Artist Draws

I search a while for these draws, and they were so hard to find. I ended up getting this 4 Drawer Wood Artist Supply Storage Box from the american amazon store since the UK one only sold two or three draw types which isnt really enough. They are the perfect size for pencils and stackable, so as your collections of pencils grow you can buy more draws to fit them all. These draws fit my 76 Caran D’Ache Luminance pencils box, 2x 24 set of Derwent Drawing Pencils and my set of 120 Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. So they four draws is plenty!

They also come with handy dividers inside so you can separate your colours and have everything organised and easy to use. I highly recommend getting them as a must have studio tool.

A0 Drawing Table

My A0 Drawing Board is definitely one of my favourite items I have bought for my studio. The UK link is the exact table I have bought but the USA link is the smaller version created by the same company. It’s worth spending more money on quality drawing table so it can last your entire artistic career. As a professional I use it all day every day and I am constantly tipping it backward and forward for drawing and photography of my work. It is really easy to use, and you can even adjust the height, so if you are a shorty like me you can have it lower than a normal table, or a lot higher than one. This A0 size gives me plenty of elbow room and the foot supports on the bottom are a great height for keeping your legs at a relaxed angel. I recommend buying this A0 Drawing Board if you have the room.

Daylight Lamp

The right lamp is so important for drawing so you can trust you are seeing the right colours all the time and you are not dependent on a good sunny day. Since I live in a cottage in the middle of Wales, I don’t have the best lighting in my studio and therefore I am so happy I bought this lamp. The PHIVE LED Architect Lamp lights my work with a bright even light and you can hold down the power button as a dimmer switch. It secures well to my drawing board or a desk and has a long cable which is useful for plugging it in far from a socket. I would recommend getting this lamp to work on your latest creation, all hours in the day and night.

Technology Must Haves

Technology wise I cannot complete a portrait without my Lenovo Tab E7 Tablet and my Canon LIDE 220 Scanner. I upload the reference picture to my tablet so I can zoom in on details and have a clear picture to work from. There are many tablets out there by this was the most affordable for me and does its one job perfectly. After I have completed a portrait, I use my Canon LIDE 220 Scanner to scan in my work at 600ppi. This means I have a high-quality image to use for prints and on my website whilst the customer keeps the original. This is an A4 size and larger sizes are available at a higher cost. But usually I scan the image in parts if it is larger than A4 and then put the picture together in photoshop which doesn’t take too much time. I will hopefully save up and get a large printer scanner but for now this one does the job perfectly for me.

I predict if he returns the eight year Presidental term as defined will be overturned. TFG will become our dictator and the greatest Democracy every know will fade into the dark of a new dystopian America.

Musk is a strange bird and was forced to buy Twitter even after he realized he’d made a terrible mistake. Twitter lawyers wrote a bullet proof deal after Musk declared he didn’t care to have any due diligence on the deal.

Major blunder. Now he’s playing games with peoples lives. Laying off up to half of the Twitter staff.

The teams around making Twitter less of a hellscape are gone. I have one good programmer friend, who joined the company in May of this year, who was let go. He was barely getting started and had already contributed a great deal to improving internal iOS dev process and tools. Stripe > “Today we’re announcing the hardest change we have had to make at Stripe to date. We’re reducing the size of our team by around 14% and saying goodbye to many talented Stripes in the process.”

While it’s not fun to go through a layoff compare and contrast how Stipe handled it vs. Twitter’s ham fisted version. It’s night and day different.

Stripe is taking care of those effected. Go read the piece. This is a very compassionate, empathetic, way to do something so devastating.

Jalopnik > “Four years ago, Dodge showed up at SEMA with a thousand-horsepower crate engine that you could just buy off the shelf.”

Raw unadulterated power. Don’t get me wrong. I want to save the planet and get rid of all carbon emitting gas guzzlers, but this engine gets my heart pumping.

Daring Fireball > “The gambling/casino-related ads were so dominating the auctions for these new ad slots that they were even being presented at the bottom of the product pages for apps intended to help people with gambling addiction.”

Apple becoming a home for advertising feels so, so, dirty. They make all this stink about privacy and go about destroying Facebook (whom I could care less about) by using the power of their platform to disallow the tracking necessary for them to survive. Then they say “Hey! Look over here! We do safe ads with a captive audience on a platform with 50% market share in the US.”

Steve is rolling in his grave and Tim Apple is running his hands together like Mr. Burns with a giant smile on his face because shareholder value.

Just stop.
