      “I-I-I’m sorry.” An accident, that’s all it ever took to turn a good day into a bad one. He’d been preoccupied trying to cover his head that he hadn’t noticed the boy in front of him, bumping into him hard enough to nearly lose his balance. His arms drop, revealing silver hair and lavender eyes that darken with anxiety. Whispers immediately spread throughout the dirt road, villagers seeing the child they call a demon. “O-Oh no...” Absolute terror freezes him in his spot, the boy he inconvenienced forgotten.

the offer to be lifted up makes him smile, and sarang won't lie, that was definitely a part of his plan in bringing up minsoo's height. if there's one thing sarang's learned about flirting with other men, it's that many of them—at least the one's he's attracted to—love feeling strong. there's nothing that makes them happier than proving their might, or fueling their masculinity. reminding a man of his virility is a sure-fire way of keeping his attention, at least in his own experiences.

they're simple-minded creatures, men, and being one himself, sarang understands that, and often decides to use it to his advantage. he uses his cleverness and wit to give them exactly what they need.

besides, there's something exceptionally adorable about them when they're able to impress you. the boyish grins that tug at their lips when it happens is the sweetest thing, and admittedly, he's a bit addicted to making it happen. seeing a man soften is his kryptonite.

laughing at the comment made about his own stature, sarang lightly jabs at minsoo's bicep with his fist as 'punishment'. "hey—look, down to earth is right, but i don't know... sometimes i wonder what it'd be like to touch the clouds. no need to hate on us short-folk!" it's all light-hearted chiding though. he adores playful banter and teasing. "besides, us short-folk can trip you, and you know what they say: the taller you are, the harder you fall."

with that, he offers his date an impish grin. his vulpine stare narrows with his smile, increasing the look of mischief that captures his face; adding to his own brand of adorability. hopefully it falls within minsoo's preferences. "i won't break your ankles, though... you're lucky you're cute." with that, he takes another sip of his apple cider; keeping up with the other's pace. "there's a café around here that has the best tangerine seolgi i've ever had. ooh, and coffee seolgi, too!"

the idea of desserts makes him hum. he knows he should be dieting, but the cooler weather always makes him crave sweets. "would you wanna try it... or am i already satisfying your sweet tooth enough?"

really, he doesn't know what he's doing. but he's learned to forcefully drop any semblance of neuroticism because that's what had him hitting walls in the past, misreading signs, going along for the ride. there's nothing wrong with actually going for the ride, and he's learned that in the last year, becoming more carefree as he went and enjoying his own company, and kind of doing whatever the hell he wanted. it might not be the wisest thing, but minsoo could not put in the same amount of worry anymore. it seems to be wearing well on him, so no complaints here.

and he's willing to let puzzle pieces fall into place, no forcing edges that don't belong together type stuff; whether he was always this person naturally, or if minsoo basically learned it along the way, nature versus nurture ordeal, he's content with letting things happen. hopefully in his favour, but who's to say?

without that stream of thinking, there would have been a very slim likelihood minsoo would have found himself in this situation today, but sarang has been good company all morning. at the comment about the scenery, he's promptly brought out of his thoughts, glancing up at the trees and then back at sarang. "they are nice... i don't appreciate nature enough. but i'm glad the weather stayed tame enough not to ruin the day for us." the compliments aren't missed, they're appreciated really, "i'm not as tall as you say, but if you'd like to be closer to the blossoms at any point, i could.... hoist you up." he hasn't make a habit out of it, but minsoo is pretty sure he could piggyback him if the situation called for it. hey, the offer's there.

"now if we're going to keep on the play of heights..." minsoo doesn't know if its appropriate to poke fun at someone's smaller stature - not that there was anything wrong with being on the more petit side, "i'd say you're... pretty down to earth." shit, was that inappropriate? his eyes avert rapidly to sarang to ensure that he meant no offense, but if it got a small laugh, checkmark on good sense of humour?

Recently, a survey was conducted among 4,446 female, queer South Koreans (gay and bisexual) to determine the most popular female idols among female LGBTQ+ women in the country. Want to know who made the top ranking? Keep reading again!

A total of 17,105 votes were received out of 4,446 people who took part in the survey.

1. Red Velvet Irene

Ranking at the top is Red Velvet’s original scene, Irene! Mahila Murthy got 943 votes, which is 5.3% of the total votes. Although she was absent from this ranking in 2020, Irene ranked No. 2 in 2019, proving how popular she is among the queues in South Korea.

2. WJSN Seoula

WJSN member Seola is second with 730 votes, or 4.1% of the total tally. Siola ranked tenth in last year’s ranking, which means it gained popularity in just one year!

The second Red Velvet member to make the list is Selgi, who received 719 votes, or 4.1% of the total number of votes. Selgi has always been popular among South Korean queer women, ranking at number six in 2020 and number one in 2019!

4. Mamamoo Moonbull

Mamamoo’s lead rapper Moonbull finished fourth with 580 votes, meaning Moonbull received about 3.3% of the total votes. In last year’s edition of this list, the MAMAMOO member ranked eighth, ranking at number three in 2019.

5. (G) I-DLE Mian
