But Tulsidas had a different vision...

He wasn't writing for fame, recognition, or immediate success. He was writing from a place of pure detachment—creating not for applause, but for transformation. He wanted humanity to read, reflect, and evolve. The result? The Ramcharitmanas became one of the most beloved and influential texts in Sanatan Dharma—not because he chased approval, but because he surrendered to a higher purpose.

Growing up, I always knew that my grandfather was a fireman and I always heard stories of his time in the FDNY, but I was never able to understand his dedication. I always knew that there was a brotherhood, outside of his family, but I never knew that I would find myself following in his footsteps. Joining both a fire department and an EMS department has changed my life completely and has show me more than I ever could of imagined.
