So here’s Shiro and Lance, two oblivious dorks who fell in love with each other through a dating app built for anonymity. Everyone has flowers assigned to them, Shiro is lilac and Lance is Himalayan poppies.

My part of the @shanceflowerexchange for @kuroshiroganee! Their flower was the Daffodil. I hope you like it! <3 Greek mythology has always been a source of inspiration for me. Usually the Daffodil is associated with the tale of Narcissus, however I took a little different route. I decided on the tale of Persephone and Hades, instead, as inspiration;

“The legend of Persephone comes to us primarily in the anonymous seventh century BC Homeric Hymn To Demeter (Εἲς Δημήτραν).[18] In the opening scene, the author describes the narcissus, and its role as a lure to trap the young Persephone… The flower, she later recounts to her mother was the last flower she reached for [before capture].”

Flower prompt was Zinnia for Lance/Kuron. I went with the white Zinnia which stands for innocence/pure goodness bc let’s be real, Kuron may have yelled at our boy, but he’s hurting, too and didn’t ask for any of this.
