I miss these guys SO MUCH i recently dropped Light Amira and just sierotixed Rita and HHHHHHHHHH you don't underastand how much i love the shinbaha anime i'm kinda tempted to do a rewatch idk i'm just glad they seem to be ACTIVELY PART OF THE GBF UNIVERSE like as if they got adopted rather than just isekai'd... sadly i still don't have nina and charioce but i'd need 2 more sierotix for them so uh... yeah... BUT!!!!! amira's been present in events recently and has been vocal about helheim, favaro appeared in her summer alt fate episode...so IDK A WOMAN CAN DREAM

As someone who is a RoB fan i can integrate some info into this

Technically amira was born artificially and has more involvement with angiels(her mother) than bahamut as per her origin, she did stole( and became) the key to seal bahamut tho and sacrificed herself to keep it dormant (technically a timeskip happens and there's another mess with bahamut and they apparently defeat him but her presence lingers so y'know it leaves an open finale that will never be completed) So...since they reworked the characters i don't think they are gonna go back into the original RoB track, they might leave hints or repeat the same stuff that happened in season one but even there the character relationships and background are a bit scrambled, also random fact they even appeared in a granblue anime OAV as a cameo

Another reason why they can't go back to the RoB stuff if we ignore the fact that a timeskip happens but the characters we see are from genesis and not virgin soul, it's actually the angels themselves.. the set of angels in RoB is completely different..or better they are the same but their roles and appearences differ... i believe they wanted to salvage the characters and keep them for their own use much as many characters got recycled from the bahamut game but retain more or less fidelty to their role, heck monika being obtainable in the arcanum is even a wink to rage of bahamut(the game) so i wouldn't be surprised if they get a similar treatment rather than a parallel timeline it's possible that Amira's still linked to bahamut somehow and she definitely was born in an artificial way here too considering how she behaves (she's 5 year old btw in the game's marked as un known but eh.. yeah)

ok ok this is gonna be very off topic and it may sound absurd but i don't follow many people who are into granblue and i was talking with a friend about it before but listen, what if what Amira is looking for is also Estalucia? One of it's names is the seat of Genesis right? and she comes from "rage of bahamut Genesis", she has a character in the main pool and a summer limited featuring the MC of the anime, azazel has some involvement too and from what i know also the other blu ray characters have been "reworked" to function with granblue lore and have seasonal lines...like... they are not isekai'd like idk the shadowverse or the priconne or umamusume collabs, Amira in the anime was heavily connected to bahamut what if she's a sort of vessel here too? IDK it's been so many years ...after the 10th granblue anni and the main bahamut game dying out...i wonder if i'm being delulu or if there's a chance for them to finally have an event to officialize them in, after all Amira herself appeared in two events already (about food but STILL)

i admit i'm not super well versed into Rage of Bahamut in general, so i've only really read second hands conversation about all of this.

Most SNB character who crossed over to GBF have been fully reworked so they have different lore though, so it's not really isekai -- but a couple of the important ones were worked in with amnesia for instance, so it could eventually have them rework into their SNB origin.

for Amira, if i'm not wrong, in SNB she is Bahamut's daughter, she is linked to the omnipotent in a very deep way. But in GBF, she has amnesia and all she knows is that her mother is out there somewhere and she's been looking for her - but she is also not human and she still has designs elements carried away from SNB.

The theories have been about her being connected to our Bahamut as well, but without any of the memories from SNB that would actually tell us what the deal is all about. Whenever it's because she IS from SNB and has been moved to GBF, or otherwise, is up to theories.

SNB does have the same base lore of Bahamut being the god of Rebirth and Destruction, but while in GBF he's an absent God who has long stopped paying attention to the Skyrealm, from what i understood, SNB happens in the middle of a Destruction from the Rebirth and Destruction cycle, which is why everything is much more messy and the characters involved all have to radically take a stand against God.

One possible theory to link the two would be to see SNB as a possible previous timeline, the last time Bahamut rebooted the universe - and the people who fought at the time while the cycle happened, were somehow sent to the GBF timeline, as a rebirthing from this circle, and are still scattered and unsure of what it means about them.

I personally i'm not too sure about the theory, mostly because i don't actually think cygames wants to connect those two games that much -- i think they want those to be two separate stories and it's why the SNB characters who have been crossing over have totally new stories (because Azazel for instance is much more removed from his initial origins by now). But i also am not familiar enough with SNB to really affirm that it's impossible.

Personally i think Amira is still connected to Bahamut in GBF, maybe she is one of Bahamut's daughter, but neither we nor her know about it for now, and the answer to it all lies on her mother she intends to find one day.

for the rest, it's really a case by case thing.

but yeah, again, i'm really not the one with the lore and knowledge on SNB to answer this.

a couple of disclaimers first:

since none of these characters are exclusively available at R rarity, im only counting SR and SSR characters towards the total

im not including collab characters, since theyre not technically created by the gbf team

even though eternals and evokers and rotb characters are technically free recruits and not obtained through gacha mechanics, i did still include them in the count

im also counting alts into the total

there were a couple of characters i wasnt sure if they were supposed to be considered just tanned or as having darker skin so take this whole thing as a rough estimate

the total comes out to 60 out of 725 characters

With all the white_pharaoh.png whitewashing gacha drama going on I’m curious to go over gbf’s roster to see how many characters they have with darker skin

little random fact, the whole azazel/borger comedic duo is extra fan to me as a former shinbaha player and anime enjoyer cause idk if you saw the shingeki no bahamut genesis anime but there's an iconic scene where azazel gets ran over by a carriage and the fact that he's paried with "the chariot" is just so funny to me i wonder if that's intentional like look at him

when you are the edgy villain for most of the seires but you get squished like a pigeon on the road ,peak comedy

tbh I mentioned in a post not long ago that idrc for cygames aside from granblue but that’s not actually true on account of my first exposure being through the shinbaha anime (which I fell in love with) and then later playing both dragalia lost and world flipper. I even tried out their recent shadowverse release. But I can say with certainty that I don’t really understand the hype uma musume specifically gets, both when it originally released/got an anime and the recent English game release

I thought about playable lucifer and belial though since the raid story put out more lore I think it’d be interesting since in gbvs so far I don’t see belial with any light weapons so light ssr belial and dark ssr lucifer
