Coco's Search for a WAIFU or The Purgatory of Jaune
= Sixteen = (Master Chapter List)
Jaune was still upon his bed, silent and immobile. His eyes closed as he allowed his mind wander, seeking the answers to the desires of his heart. He was finding little of use, but he continued on, searching for a direction to follow. As he continued to meditate, the final bell of the day sounded.
The instant the classes let out, Beacon's halls became choked with the crush of students trying to make their way to Training Room One. Word had passed through the student body, and not a single one wanted to miss Nikos and Adel going at it. One a champion and THE strongest of the first year combatants. The other, infamous in her own right, but arguably one of the strongest second years.
The conflict made all the juicer by the whispers that it was about a boy. It was made even more unreal when rumour mill finally made it know, who that boy was. Jaune Arc, the weakest and worst student in all the history of Beacon. Some scoffed at the notion, but it didn't dissuade them from trying to get a seat.
It didn't take long for the bleachers and the observation room to be filled to capacity, while on opposite sides of the central sparing ring, the two women in question faced each other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yang: As agreed. This is a SPAR! First to bring the other into the red wins. Are we synced?
Velvet: (Standing besides Coco) Yes.
Nora: (Standing next to Pyrrha) Yep.
Yang: Standard rules apply. You will give quarter if asked. Also, as agreed, I have the authority to stop this SPAR at any point I see fit. So you will listen to my instructions when given. Understood.
Pyrrha/Coco: Yes.
Yang: Everyone out of the ring. (Yang steps back out as the protective barrier is raised.) BEGIN!
Gianduja spun up as Pyrrha ducked to the side and covered herself with Akouo. A hail of dust rounds tore up the floor and slammed into Pyrrha's shield. She grunted from the impact of the absolute body shaking force, that threatened to push her backwards. Digging in her heels, she pushed forward, using a slight tilt of Akouo to deflect the rounds over straight-up blocking.
Coco adjusted her aim, but something felt off. It was like her weapon was heavier than it should be. She struggled to keep the stream of rounds aimed at Pyrrha, but she found herself deviating. Gritting her teeth, she pulled against the force that was pulling her aim off.
Still hunkered down behind her shield, Pyrrha inched forward, closing with her opponent. Seeing that Pyrrha was pushing to get into melee range, Coco activated her semblance, instantly increasing the power of her rounds. The sudden added intensity caused Pyrrha to waiver. Gritting her teeth, she pushed against her shield and dove to the side, out of the line of fire.
Coco twisted on her feet, pivoting about to bring the tidal wave of rounds to bear upon her opponent.
CLICK! CLUNK!
Coco: SHIT!
With the stream of rounds gone, Pyrrha launched herself forward, Milo in spear form chamber to strike. Dropping her more than likely jammed gun, Coco dodged to the side, moments before Pyrrha's strike could land. Rolling to her feet, Coco counter-attacked. Pyrrha weaved away from Coco's punches and swapped Milo to sword form. Using Akouo for cover, she spun about in a low slash.
Coco saw the rapidly approaching weapon and kicked out, catching the blade with the sole of her boot and surprisingly knocking it from Pyrrha's grasp. Even though she was shocked at the force Coco had delivered with that kick, Pyrrha didn't hesitate to let the force of that strike help reverse the rotation of her attack.
Coco staggered sideways as Milo skittered across the floor. The edge of Akouo having smashed into her side. Coco shook off the hit and threw a flurry of punches and kicks, forcing Pyrrha to dodge, weave and block. Spinning about, Pyrrha attempted to once again strike Coco with Akouo's edge, only to have the fashionista intercept the strike.
The force with which Coco latched onto Pyrrha's shield and then ripped it from her grasp was something she had not expected from Coco. As Akouo clattered across the ground, Pyrrha retaliated. Throwing her own combos of kicks and punches, that forced Coco to cover up.
Pyrrha knew now she was faster are probably more agile, while Coco was much more gifted in the physical strength department. But Pyrrha knew other things as well. Strength did little if you were on your back. So instead of continuing to throw strikes, Pyrrha pulled a shoot. Driving her shoulder into Coco's gut, Pyrrha scooped her legs and drove her backwards into the floor.
Pyrrha: (Raining blows down on Coco's covered up head) Someone like you shouldn't be anywhere near Jaune! You're a selfish, manipulative cunt! Why would someone as shallow as you ever notice someone like Jaune?
Coco knew she was steadily loosing aura, but she really didn't care at this point. She just had to fight back. To give as good as she got, and make sure the Invincible Girl remembered her. Thrusting up with her hips, she interrupted Pyrrha's storm of punches, and in that short moment Coco grabbed Pyrrha's flowing locks and dragged her head down into the path of an elbow.
Coco: Fuck you! You self-righteous coward! Pathetic simpering bitch!
The onlookers were rather shocked as the spar devolved into a full on cat-fight as the weapons were forgotten, and skills were abandoned. The two women now rolled about, hands tangled in each other's hair, fists falling and striking without precision, and screaming obscenities at each other.
Coco: I know what I did was fucking wrong, you cow! But at least I did something! I got his attention! I made him notice me! All the while you cowered in your little fucking corner like a pussy!
Pyrrha: You would know about pussy, wouldn't you! How many did you dive, dyke, before you found out you needed cock?
Coco: You fucking slut!
Somehow, both combatants managed to break free of the other and roll to their feet. Gasping for breath, they wasted not a second before latching on to each other again. Hands grabbing hair, and closing upon throats.
Yang: Enough! I'm stopping this spar!
Neither woman paid Yang a lick of attention, as they continued their assaults upon each other. With a wave of her hand, others rushed the ring, and forcibly separated the two. Even then, they continued to struggle, spitting vitriol at each other.
As the audience slowly filtered out, those left, team RWBY, CFVY and the remainder of JNPR stayed behind. Keeping the pair of enraged women as far apart as they could, physically.
Yang: (Struggling to held keep Pyrrha contained) We need Jaune! These two are not going to stop without him stepping in!
Nora: (Also assisting in keeping Pyrrha away from Coco) He should be in the dorm, right, Rennie?
Ren: (Trying unsuccessfully use his semblance to alleviate the pure rage in Pyrrha) Yes. He should be there.
Yang: Rubes! Go get Jaune!
Ruby moved away from those holding down Pyrrha and vanished in a blur of rose petals.
Yang: (Shouting over her shoulder towards the ground, trying to control Coco) We're getting Jaune!
Velvet: Is that even a good idea? They're fighting over him!
Yang: We have to try! When he gets here, Ruby can go for Goodwitch!

Best Cold Press Juicer in Australia: Why Torus Solo is the Smart Buy in 2025
Juicing has become more than just a trend in Australia—it’s now a core part of a healthy lifestyle. As Australians continue to prioritise health and nutrition, cold press juicers are fast becoming kitchen essentials. Unlike traditional centrifugal juicers, cold press juicers preserve more nutrients, deliver better taste, and extract higher yields. But with so many options available in the market, one question keeps popping up—what is the best cold press juicer in Australia in 2025?
The answer? Torus Solo. In this article, we’ll explore why the Torus Solo Cold Press Juicer is the top pick for Aussie households this year and why it’s the smartest investment you can make for your health and kitchen.
What is a Cold Press Juicer?
A cold press juicer, also known as a masticating juicer, slowly crushes and squeezes fruits and vegetables to extract juice without generating excessive heat. This process helps retain important nutrients like vitamin C, enzymes, and antioxidants that are often lost in high-speed juicing.
Benefits of Cold Press Juicing:
Higher nutrient retention
Better juice taste and texture
Longer shelf life (up to 72 hours)
Higher juice yield and lower pulp waste
In short, if you're serious about health and wellness, a cold press juicer is a non-negotiable kitchen companion.
Why Cold Press Over Centrifugal?
Centrifugal juicers might be quicker, but they come with drawbacks—loud operation, lower juice yield, nutrient loss due to heat, and fast juice separation. In contrast, cold press juicers offer quieter performance, smoother juice, and better long-term health benefits.
If you're looking to buy a cold press juicer online that’s reliable, nutrient-rich, and made for everyday Australian use, the Torus Solo ticks all the boxes.
Meet the Torus Solo: Built for Aussie Kitchens
The Torus Solo Cold Press Juicer is designed with the modern Australian lifestyle in mind. Whether you're a health-conscious mum, a busy professional, or a small café owner, this juicer meets your needs with ease.
Some standout features include:
✅ Dual-Speed Motor
Choose between two juicing speeds for different types of produce. Softer fruits? Use the lower speed. Harder veggies like carrots and beetroot? The higher speed handles them with ease.
✅ Wide Feed Chute
Say goodbye to tedious prep. The Solo’s wide-mouth chute accommodates whole apples, cucumbers, and thick celery stalks, saving you precious time in the kitchen.
✅ Easy to Clean
Its smart design allows quick disassembly and easy rinse cleaning. The direct-flow system also means no more scraping out clogged pulp from tiny crevices.
✅ Compact Yet Powerful
Don’t let its small footprint fool you. The Torus Solo is powerful, sturdy, and built with a 100% copper motor, giving it the strength to operate for years without breaking down.
Why Australians Are Choosing the Torus Solo in 2025
With an increasing number of juicers flooding the market, you might wonder what makes Torus Solo stand out. The answer lies in the combination of quality, functionality, and trust.
1. Australian-Owned & Operated
Torus Cold Press Juicers is a locally owned Australian company, offering customer service, shipping, and support from within the country. That means faster delivery, better service, and products designed for Aussie homes.
2. Excellent Juice Yield
Thanks to its dual-speed auger system and advanced extraction mechanism, the Torus Solo squeezes every last drop of juice from your produce—meaning less waste and more value.
3. Silent Operation
No one wants to start the day with a blender-like roar. The Torus Solo operates quietly, making it perfect for morning routines or late-night health kicks without waking the whole household.
4. Versatile Functionality
Besides fruits and veggies, it also handles leafy greens, nuts (for nut milk), wheatgrass, and even frozen berries for soft-serve sorbets.
Health Benefits of Daily Juicing
If you're still on the fence about investing in a juicer, consider the daily health benefits it brings:
Boost immunity with citrus blends rich in vitamin C.
Improve digestion through fibre-rich ingredients like apple, ginger, and kale.
Enhance skin clarity thanks to antioxidants from beetroot and carrot.
Support weight management with low-calorie, nutrient-dense juice blends.
A daily green juice can genuinely be the easiest and tastiest way to give your body a head start.
Real Customer Feedback
Here’s what some happy Australians are saying:
“We’ve had the Torus Solo for over a year now. It’s hands down the best cold press juicer we’ve used—easy to clean, high juice yield, and super quiet. Totally worth every cent.” — Jessica B., Brisbane
“I’ve tried a few cold press models before, but the Torus Solo is just in a league of its own. Australian brand, great service, and powerful juicing. Couldn’t ask for more.” — Michael T., Perth
Where to Buy the Best Cold Press Juicer in Australia
You don’t need to scroll through hundreds of listings on big eCommerce sites. When it comes to buying a cold press juicer in Australia, it’s best to go straight to the source.
You can buy the Torus Solo directly from the official website. They offer secure payment, fast nationwide shipping, and excellent customer support. Plus, their site often features limited-time deals and bundle offers, so keep an eye out!
Looking for the best value cold press juicer in Australia in 2025? The Torus Solo is currently available with bonus inclusions like recipe books and free accessories—making it a deal too good to pass up.
Maintenance & Care Tips for Longevity
One reason people abandon juicing is because of maintenance. Thankfully, with a little care, the Torus Solo stays in great shape:
Rinse after every use to prevent pulp build-up.
Use the included cleaning brush to clean the mesh sieve easily.
Disassemble and air-dry the parts weekly to avoid mould and odours.
Avoid overfeeding—give the motor a chance to do its job efficiently.
These simple habits can extend your juicer’s life well beyond its warranty.

Benefits of Smart and Silent Power Juicer
The juice extractor has become an essential accessory for all lovers of cooking and vitamins in recent years. The market was quickly invested, so it is sometimes difficult to find the model that meets your expectations. To guide you, find the best selection.
There is no doubt how healthy Fruits, vegetables, herbs, and leafy vegetables are. But how do you get the maximum benefit from these fruits and vegetables? The juice extractor makes it possible to produce a multitude of very varied freshly squeezed juices. Try the associations, preferably with seasonal fruits and vegetables, and let your creativity speak!
The power juicer extractor is a particularly practical and functional device. It allows you to make fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Thanks to its slow rotation, this accessory exerts a cold pressure which makes it possible to preserve all the vitamins and all the essential nutrients of the food. Fruits and vegetables contain many benefits for our health and our body, including vitamins A and K, which are found in kiwi, carrots, and broccoli. Buying a juice extractor is an ideal solution to the many commercial fruit juices whose nutrients are reduced or even non-existent. In addition to being delicious, your homemade fruit juices will be much more nutritious than those you are used to silent juicers consuming.

Benefits
Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer is very easy to use the machine. Simply insert fruits, vegetables, and herbs into the chute (tube), and the extractor does the rest. Depending on the diameter of the chute, it is sometimes not even necessary to cut the plants into small pieces.
During production, one container collects the juice, another the pulp. Cleaning then depends on the type of device, but in general, it is rather simple knowing that  Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer are completely cleaned in less than 3 minutes.
Good news, thanks to the juice extractor, you and your customers (if you own a restaurant) finally manage to get seriously closer to the 5 fruits and vegetables that we are supposed to consume ideally per day.
The National Health Nutrition Program (PNNS) reasons in terms of portions (5 portions of 80 to 100 g) and considers that fruit and vegetable juices can be taken into account if they are pressed or "pure juice" (regardless of the number of fruits and vegetables used, it is the portion that counts).
Thanks to its slow-rotating worm screw system, which crushes the fruits and vegetables against the filter, the juice extractor guarantees a gentle, cold extraction of the juice, which preserves the maximum of plant nutrients (vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, minerals...) and separates the juice from the fibers.
Consumption of the extracted juice allows all these nutrients to be absorbed without having to digest the fibers and therefore leaves the digestive tract at rest. The rate of nutrient assimilation is 4x higher because nutrients in the form of high power juicer juice pass more easily into the blood.
The juice extractor gently crushes fruits and vegetables but does not destroy their structure; the juices oxidize less quickly, which allows them to be kept fresh longer. The vitamins in fruit and vegetable juices oxidize in contact with air and light.
Place the juices in an airtight glass container and in the refrigerator (cold and dark) to optimize their conservation.
Juice extractors offer a much higher extraction yield in quantity and quality than centrifuges that reject very wet fibers. Also, unlike silent juicers, extractors can extract juice from herbs or leaves.
Conclusion
What if getting a juice extractor became one of your good health resolutions? For the New Year? In addition to providing the vitamins necessary for the proper functioning of your body, the Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer is ecological since the manufacture of your drinks requires no packaging, no preservatives, or chemical products. Choosing the best extractor first depends on the space of your kitchen. The Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer is a very versatile device since it allows you to make various preparations. It takes up less space, and its shape promotes faster pressing of food. Finally, there is the manual juice extractor, practical since it does not require any electrical network. So you can take it everywhere with you to make your drinks wherever you want.

not in the mood — carlos sainz
Tumblr media
carlos sainz x you (femreader) | 1.9k summary – grumpy uncle Carlos is struggling on the extended family holiday and you will do anything to shake him from his bad mood. rating – 18+ (sex, language, google translated spanish) a/n – i’ve decided to collate the sentence starters i got for each driver so that we can get a bit juicer and i can do a little more plot with the smut lol masterlist
Tumblr media
You could tell from the moment Carlos stepped off his father’s sailboat that he wasn’t happy. It was a look you’d seen before – typically after a bad race or when the vintage car he’d been working on in his workshop wouldn’t start; infuriated and overtired, two emotions he wasn’t capable of controlling. The vein bulging on his forehead told you to keep your distance while he cooled off, leaving him alone with his own thoughts. Hopefully simmering down.
“Is tio angry at us, tia?” Little Edgar asked, tugging on your long sundress as he watched his uncle storm off towards the resort without a word.
“He’d never be mad at you, cariño…” You replied quietly and brushed the young boys curls from his face, encouraging him to go play with his siblings in the water. But the question had to be asked.
“What happened out there?”
Carlos’ father simply shrugged and threw the cooler filled with bait onto the sand beside his wife, “He gets so worked up over nothing – frustrated with me, frustrated with the little ones. Desagradecida,” He muttered under his breath.
Carlos never got upset over “nothing”. Sure, he was competitive and easily annoyed by small things, pouting to you that something wasn’t right in his mind but storming off a boat after what was supposed to be a nice afternoon with his father and nephews? That wasn’t your Carlos and you stayed silent, not agreeing with Papa on this one.
“Well whatever happened, I’m sure he’ll be over it by dinner.” You sighed, willing your words into reality for the sake of the holiday.
His mother nodded in agreement, knowing that her son was never upset for long. Thankfully she changed the subject and sent her husband on a mission to get her another cocktail from the beach bar. You took the break in conversation to return to your suite where you assumed your husband was brooding alone, probably grumbling to himself in the otherwise silent room.
And you were right. As soon as you clicked the door open, you heard it. The unintelligible Spanish that he always used when he was angry – quietly cursing whoever was coming to ruin his peace and quiet. But you didn’t care if he was annoyed by your presence; you’d been together for long enough to sense what the other needed, especially if something was upsetting them.
He would've done the same for you.
“Don’t throw a pillow at me. I come in peace,” You said, rounding the corner and surrendering your power with your hands up beside your face.
He looked exactly as you expected; propped up against the bed head, thick black rimmed reading glasses sitting on the bridge of his nose and his eyes trained on the book you’d gotten him from the market that morning. At first he ignored you, pretending to be completely immersed in the book he was reading.
But the quick glance up in your direction was enough to make you smirk. The pout he had on his face when he breezed past you on the beach a few minutes ago was still there, shoulders tensed around his strong neck. The only difference now was that he was shirtless, gloriously tanned and looking painfully beautiful lying on the white linen sheets. You always compared him to a flawlessly chiselled statue, mouth-wateringly perfect in every way.
“You didn’t need to come at all.”
Okay, so maybe not perfect all the time.
“Well I came up because the boys were worried that they’d made you angry but I can’t imagine any scenario where that would be true…”
Carlos’ eyes snapped up to yours, his pout now a frown as he listened to your words. He felt a pang of guilt shoot to his heart as you sat down on the end of the bed, watching his brain tick over and finally realise the effect he had on the people he loved, his little carbon copies. He was Tio Carlos, after all. Their hero.
“Ay, they didn’t think I was mad at them?” He asked more as a question than a statement and you nodded – not to make him feel bad but because it was the truth. The bitter truth from the way his face dropped again, now sadder than before.
“Meirde,” Carlos mumbled under his breath, “I wasn’t angry at them – it was my father. He was shouting at them like he did to me when I was a boy making them feel stupid so I told him to fuck off and he was not happy about that…” He trailed off, rolling his eyes with a huff.
“I’ll go down and see the boys soon but I just can’t be around him like this,” Carlos added and you understood. He was clearly fired up, fight or flight mode activated with the former winning out.
There weren’t many things that really got under Carlos’ skin but those kids meant more to him than anything. He was protective of them and seeing them being bullied like he was as a young boy triggered him – made him see red and although he was close to his father now, there was a lot of underlying problems that had never been resolved.
Obviously this was one of them but it would be a shame to let all of that pent up anger and aggression go to waste, you thought.
“Fair enough, honey,” You whispered and stood up, smoothing your long sundress out as Carlos went back to his book, “I’ll give you some space but I’m not wearing any underwear right now… Just thought you should know that.”
In true Carlos fashion, he didn’t even flinch at your words, not even a glance nor did he stop you from leaving at first. It wasn’t until your hand was gripping the door handle that you heard him yell out from the bedroom, “And where do you think you’re going then?”
His voice sounded hoarse, deep and tantalisingly sexy as you trotted back to where he was, now sprawled out on the bed and waiting for your return. The book he was seemingly so enthralled in when you left was still open but discarded as you crawled up beside it with a smirk, merely imitating the expression on his face as he watched you.
Eyes forever trained on yours, tempting you up onto his lap that he was patting. Your fingernails dragged along the exposed skin on his thighs that the short shorts weren’t covering, tanned and hairy. Strong and muscular, mind reeling from the things they could do.
Carlos was pouting when you leaned in closer to his face, telepathically sending signals for you to kiss him. It had been a rough afternoon but having you to take his mind of it well and truly made up for it. You smiled and pressed your lips to his, arms snaking around his neck as you settled onto his lap, letting the weight of the day melt into his touch.
His hands crept around your waist and naturally dropped lower to your backside that he was always mesmerised by. There was hardly ever a moment when you were alone that he wasn’t either touching it or gawking at it and you loved it. The attention, the physically touch – he had you wrapped around his finger, and him yours.
“Let your frustration out on me, baby.”
Your permission ignited something deep inside Carlos. A little spark in his eyes catching on as you pulled back and captured his stare, aroused by the darkness and the steeliness as he tugged you into his chest. He was groaning under his breath as you moved above him, stirring that feeling he couldn’t ignore and that you could feel between your thighs.
“Te quiero con todo mi corazón,” Carlos whispered as you reached up and removed the reading glasses from his beautiful face, peppering kisses all over his cheeks.
“I think you look so sexy in these but I don’t want to break them,” You confessed and he simply smirked as he lifted your hips up and pulled his shorts down, freeing himself from the tight material.
“I know you do, darling.”
You rolled your eyes and licked your palm before grasping his growing stiffness in your hand, delicately rolling your wrist to get him to where you needed him. It never took long and with all of the kissing and teasing you’d done to him all morning; Carlos was pretty much hard on sight. But you loved how big he felt in your hand and the way his eyebrows scrunched together when you gripped him a little too tight, a hiss slipping from his lips every time.
“Actually you look sexier like this,” You smiled and kissed him again as he started bunching up your dress, moaning as you continued to pleasure him, tease him. But he got you back, sliding his fingers through your slick and pushing two fingers into you without warning, jerking you forward over his shoulder.
“Oh my god!” You shouted, both hands now gripping the back of his head as he fucked you, knuckle deep and revelling in the fact that you were now on the receiving end of his pleasure.
“Shh, I can hear people in the other room, cariño,” Carlos whispered facetiously, voice taunting and secretly wanting everyone to know that he was the reason for your screams.
“Well don’t shove your fingers inside of me without warning and I would be quiet,” You snapped back before he hit that sweet spot, causing you to return to crook of his neck with a whimpering moan.
“Asshole.”
Carlos snickered at you waving your metaphorical white flag. He loved you taking control and that’s what you did once you sunk down on him, taking his thick cock all the way until you bottomed out. A low, raspy moan slipped from your throat when you felt him twitch inside you, hips snapping up in an attempt to get you to move.
“Don’t rush me, baby. You feel so fucking big… God, why do you feel so big?”
“Because I am huge,” Carlos shamelessly retorted, head titled back and watching squirming on top of him. You rolled your eyes and straightened your back; now feeling like you had a point to prove.
As you sat up, you pressed your hands to his chest, hips rolling achingly slow and taking full advantage of your position.
“Okay, with that kind of arrogance and the way you’ve been moping around all day, you’ve lost your touching rights, my love.”
You slapped his hands off your thighs and watched his eyes glaze over with lust, “Hands off.”
Carlos pouted and reached out with his grabby hands, “Ay, no, please. I have to touch you.”
There was a smirk tugging on the corners of his lips as he pleaded with you, and you could see right through his façade. Even with his unbelievably thick cock filling you to the brim, brushing against that spot deep inside you that would usually have you unravelling in a matter of seconds, you didn’t crack. Not even a little.
“Hands. Off.”
And with those stern words, Carlos simply laid back on the pillows and tucked his hands behind his head, watching as you gave him a show. He couldn’t have loved you any more than he did in that moment – for making him feel like his entire body was on fire and for remedying his bad mood.
You really were a miracle worker. And you were all his.

The first time Yusuf realized Nicky is beautiful.
It’s after they have killed each other for what feels like the thousandth time, and all the pain and blood and death has become tiresome. What is the point of killing the other when the outcome is yet again only impossible life? The inevitability of a stalemate had arisen and overtaken the blood-lust that had once been a roaring fire in Yusuf’s veins.
What else was there to do? They had come to a truce, he and the Frank, and although neither of them shared a language they had both shared the bone-weary heaviness and grief that war always inflicts on its victims in the end. Together they had left the battle field and sought the first body of water to rid themselves of the filth that had set into their skin and hair, their very beings. Yusuf does not think he will ever truly be clean again.
By silent mutual agreement they turn away from each other as they strip by the river side. Yusuf is the first to enter the water, letting out a relieved breath as the river flows gently between his thighs and laps up against his waist. He hears the Frank splashing behind him but does not turn to look; he is too preoccupied with scrubbing at his beard and hair, the dark, curly strands thick with what feels like lifetimes of blood and viscera. In a way, it is. Without soap and fragrant oil Yusuf will not be able to fully clean himself, but as he feels the dried blood flake from his skin and drift away in the current, he already feels like a new man. The cleansing power of fresh, cool river water will always astound him.
He does not know what catches his attention. It may be the Frank making a sudden movement, or the sun reflecting off his wet skin, but Yusuf glances over his shoulder is rendered instantly breathless.
The Frank is facing away from Yusuf, his pale back glistening in the sun. Water streams from his shoulder length hair, the colour of the locks a dark mahogany, unlike the dull black that Yusuf had observed when it had been matted with blood. Transparent glittering droplets run down his spine, beckoning Yusuf’s gaze to trace from his broad shoulders down to his slim waist and the swell of his ass. The river hides the majority of the rounded, full cheeks, but reveals enough to tease Yusuf with glimpses of what is the most beautiful ass Yusuf thinks he has ever seen. He does not think he has ever sunk his teeth into a plumper, juicer fruit, and Yusuf’s family have been renowned merchants of the finest goods for generations.
Yusuf’s gaze must be heavy as the Frank senses him looking, and turns from where he has been scrubbing his chest to catch Yusuf’s eye. Those haunting sea glass eyes are the same as before, deep set, wide and finer than any jewel Yusuf has ever observed, but now Yusuf can admire the dark fan of lashes framing them as he is not concentrating on slaying their owner. He has a chance to trace that proud nose, those beautifully carved cheekbones and full, pink lips now that they are not smeared with the life-blood of his people.
The Frank is clean shaven, the line of his jaw tempting, and Yusuf is surprised to see that a beauty spot decorates it; not a mar on the man’s complexion but an enhancement, something unique that draws the eye. Yusuf’s impossible Frank is of the beauty that poets yearn to capture in their writings, that artists spend their entire lifetimes striving to emulate and yet never manage to. Something so achingly lovely cannot be tamed by charcoal and parchment, by anything at all.

Soul For A Soul.
A/N; Been working on this one for a while now. Also, why do I write the sad shit?
Words; 3.4k
Pairings; Steve Rogers x Stark!Reader, Natasha Romanoff x Platonic!Reader.
GIF not mine.
Tumblr media
"You stay safe and you make sure you're careful out there."
"We're going to collect a stone, Steve. There's not a lot that can go wrong."
"Anything could go wrong, Y/N."
"You listen to the Capsicle, Squirt." Tony said in passing.
"We don't have time to talk about this... I'll be safe and do what's right if you promise me you'll do the same. Deal?"
The light hit Steve Rogers face at such a beautiful angle as you looked up at him, taking in his features as though you had never done so before. You smiled watching as he raised a brow at you before he nodded, muttering out that he was happy with your deal.
Time travel. Never in a million years would you have thought you'd be minutes away from time traveling. As a little girl you had read stories about time travelling, watched films about it too. The world could say what they liked about Tony Stark. The words that labelled him was nothing compared to just how much of a genius he actually was. His mind truly was something else. Sure, you had a piece of that but Tony was a hero to you before he was to anyone else.
As you walked beside Steve to the podium that would be centre stage for the actual travelling, you couldn't help but twist your arms around, liking the feeling of the matching suit you all wore.
Quantum Suits, Tony and Bruce had called them. They were made of fabric that would protect you all from the Quantum realm you were minute from travelling through. Under the suits themselves were different uniforms depending on the person and who was going where.
You walked behind Nat, moving up onto the podium and standing on the outside, facing inwards. A large hand gripped yours as you grinned at Steve, finding it difficult to hold your excitement in. You were one of the fist people to partake in time travel and you'd be dammed if you tried to hide your excitement.
When everyone was in place, Steve spoke up. "Five years ago, we lost." He began, squeezing your hand gently. "All of us... We lost friends, we lost family, we lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams. You know your missions. Get the stones, get them back. One round trip each... No mistakes, no do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know, that doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be carful, look out for each other. This is the fight of our life's."
"And we're gonna win." Tony added on.
"Whatever it takes." You whispered, raising a soft brow at Steve who nodded.
"Good luck."
You released Steve's hand, moving to slide across the platform in order to insure that you weren't touching anyone. You breathed out, intaking a fresh breath of air as Bruce moved away from the keyboard and back onto the platform. "Trackers engaged." He informed everyone, fiddling with the control panel on his arm.
"This is gonna be so cool." You squealed out, unable to contain your excitement as Scott agreed, looking far to happy to be among the first to partake in time travel as well. ”Tony, I know I’ve given you shit for many, many years but this is the coolest thing you’ve done for me."
The others chuckled, shaking their heads as the platform hummed to life and began to whirl, light filling up the air from the ground. A Helmet encased your head in nano-seconds as you looked around, taking in the faces of the team you were so proud of.
You looked down and watched as the floor began to open beneath your feet, an overwhelming surge of pressure filled every part of your body as it dragged you down.
A blink. That was all it took before you were filled with pressure once more and collapsed to the ground, breathing deeper than you ever had before. Your helmet retracted, giving you the fresh air you so desperately needed.
"Y/N, you good?" Rhodey asked, breathing deeper than he usually would himself.
"I'm... Fine." You muttered, allowing the man to help you to your feet. "We... Are legit in two thousand and fourteen right now." You gazed up at the sky in awe. "I wonder what I was doing right now."
"With Steve, fu-"
"Lets not finish that." Rhodey rolled his eyes.
Natasha snorted, watching while you raised a brow at her with a small head tilt. "Filthy." She muttered to you, laughing along when you did.
"I can still hear you both!" Rhodey all but shouted out as the two of you fell silent. "And do you mind, we're kind of busy over here."
"Can you hurry it up?" You whined. He didn't reply as he continued directing Nebula in lowering the Benatar safely to the ground.
The four of you, along with Rockets shrunken ship had been sent to the planet Morag which was located in the Andromeda galaxy. Nebula and Rhodey would be retrieving the power stone on the planet while you and Nat would be taking the Benatar to Vormir and collect the soul stone.
Once the ship was on solid ground and ready, you and Nat bid a farewell and good luck to Nebula and Rhodey and climbed aborted the Benatar.
With coordinates set for planet Vormir, the two of you set off for the soul stone.
Tumblr media
”I’m telling you Nat, if I would've known we’d have to walk the length of a fucking planet and then climb the worlds biggest mountain, I would’ve went with Banner.” You huffed, ignoring Natasha as she laughed.
”Here.” The red head spoke, handing over her water bottle she had just drunk from as she took a few deep breaths. "Can't be to far, right? Nebula said to climb the tallest mountain. There can't be much further to go." She said, looking up and eyeing the arched structure that seemed to stop around fifteen feet above them.
You shrugged and took a few sips of the water she had offered, taking a small break from the long climb. The mountain in which you were steadily climbing was rocky and slippery which left little to no grip. On numerous occasions you had to stop yourself from falling.
The mountain itself was located almost as soon as you had entered the atmosphere. Nebula had said the tallest one which left little to no doubt to which one it was they had to climb as every other mountain was barely half the size.
"Come on, Y/N." Natasha sighed, looking like she had caught enough of her breath to carry on. "We're on the clock."
You nodded, capping the bottle and handing It back to her. With a deep intake of breath, you followed after her, mindful of the incline and the wetness of the rocks.
What felt to you like an hour but was closer to four minutes later, Nat came to a sudden stop which caused you to narrowly miss running into her back as you forced yourself to a stop, holding your hands out in order to balance yourself against the ground that threatened to send you tumbling all the way back down.
"Nat, what the he-" You cut yourself of with a foreign noise that slipped out before you could contain it as you took a look over Natasha's shoulder.
"Welcome." The dark, ghostly figure spoke, hovering above the ground in a patch of darkness. "Natasha. Daughter of Ivan. Y/N. Daughter of Howard."
"Who are you?" Natasha demanded rather than asked, raising her gun and pointing it at the figure while you stared in bewilderment.
"Consider me... A guide." He answered in the same tone, seemingly not threatened by Natasha's gun. "To you... And to all who seek the Soul Stone."
"Oh, good!" You exclaimed, moving around Natasha and raising a brow at the figure. "If you could just tell us where it is, we'll be on our way out of here in no time."
"Oh, my dear... If only-" He moved forward out of the darkness he was surrounded in. "It were that easy."
Silence.
You side-eyed Natasha, wondering if you were seeing the man clearly. When the smallest twitch in her eye caught your own, you knew she was seeing what you were seeing. You watched intently as he drifted over towards the edge of the cliff, darkness moving around him as he did so. You blamed your brother for what fell out of your mouth next. "Wow... What's up with your face? It looks like you've had a bad day with a juicer."
He seemed to ignore your words as her turned, setting his beady eyes on the two of you. "What you so desperately seek lies in front of you." Slower than you had moved before, you walked beside Nat to where he stood and took a look over the cliff edge. To slip and fall off would be a long drop. It was far, and all you could really make out was different shades of purpled. "As does what you fear." Yeah, It’s a really long drop.
"The stones down there." Natasha mumbled, loud enough for you to hear what she had said clearly.
You looked to Natasha who looked suddenly so upset with what he had told them. You eyes drifted over to the red face, raising a brow at the skull-like features he had. When he said nothing to indicate that he was lying, you huffed.
"The stones down there?" You all but whined out, rolling your eyes. "We spend how ever long climbing this stupid mountain and the stones been down there this whole time? That's what you're telling us right now, Skull face?"
"The stone is down there... For one of you." He answered, his cloak continuing to flow beneath where he hovered a few inches above the rocky ground. "For the other... In order to take the stone... You must lose that which you love. An everlasting exchange... A soul for a soul."
"Well, shit." You muttered, sighing slightly as you tilted your head down at the ground.
Natasha moved back from the edge, locating a small log lick rock and taking a seat on it while you moved over to the left and slid down the rocky wall, crossing your legs and resting your chin on your hands.
"Cons and pros." You murmured to yourself. "Cons and pros."
Twenty-three minutes and sixteen seconds of silence passed by as the two of you sat on opposite ends of the mountain and though you tried not to, you found yourself thinking over your life.
Growing up a Stark had not been easy. You were always living in your fathers shadow, a man you could not remember as he had died when you were a baby. Your mother had also passed which left you in the less then capable hands of your brother, one Antony Stark. Being particularly young himself when your parents had died he was less then happy to spend his weekends looking after a kid rather than out partying like he had done before the two of you were orphaned.
You were forever thankful that Tony had stepped up, taught you everything you needed to know and more. You were who you were because of him and though you had never thanked him outright, you knew that deep down, he knew how grateful you were to him. Which gave you the nerve to feel the way you felt. It was simple to work out what Skull face was getting at. One of you would have to go over the cliff. If you could give Tony back the people the world had lost... Peter... It would all be worth it.
Steven Rogers was a different story, however. He would be heartbroken, he would hate you for a while but deep down, you knew he could never hate you. What he was loosing in love he was gaining in family. Bucky, Sam, Wanda... He would get his family back and while, sure, he'd loose you. He'd still have your love in his heart. He'd never be without it.
"Nat?" You called out, your voice travelling in the wind as she raised a brow, continuing to stare ahead. "How do we know he isn't lying?" You found yourself asking half-heartedly. You knew he wasn't lying. Why would he?
"I don't thin so, Y/N." She answered, her voice void of emotion. "He knew my father's name."
"He knew mine too?" You raised a brow. "What of it."
"I never knew my father." Nat admitted, looking over at you. "Thanos left this place with the stone... Without his daughter. That's not a coincidence."
"Whatever it takes." You whispered, remembering the three words you had said to Steve before you left. You stood up on shaky legs, moving slowly towards the middle of the cliff and eyed the purple and red sky.
"Whatever it takes." Natasha repeated, pushing herself up to come and stand beside you looking suddenly very solemn. "Y/N, if we don't get that stone... Billions of people stay dead."
"Mhm…" You muttered, tilting your head at the beauty that was the sky. "For being a planet of death... It's very pretty. I suppose we both know who it's gotta be then." You hummed, taking a deep breath in order to feel the freshness of the foreign air. You smiled, turning to look at Natasha who looked very solemn herself. You're eyes narrowed as you looked at her. "Yeah... I wasn't gonna say anything... But, I think we mean different people."
"I've thought it over... Look, for the last five years, I've been trying to do one thing. Get to right here." Natasha looked like what she was saying was gonna be final. "That's all it's been about. Bringing everybody back."
"You think either of us want to do this right now?"
"You're not. I am." Natasha said, turning to face you full on. "I'm saving your life. You've got people to get ba-"
"So do you!" You exclaimed, turning to face her as you seethed almost. "You're not copping out, Natasha. You have unfinished business to attend to."
"I'm not letting you do this, Stark."
"Okay." You whispered, smiling through the water that filled your eyes. "You win, Nat." You reached out with both hands, gripping her face and pulling her towards you. Her arms wrapped around your waist as yours slid down and over her shoulders. You turned your face, your trembling lips pressing against her temple as you squeezed your eyes shut. "Tell Steve and my brother I love them."
You felt the read head tense just as your left hand was encased in cold metal as the nano-tech covered your wrist as well. Just as she was about to pull away harshly, you pressed your hand flat against her back and sent a bolt of electricity through her. She stiffened on the spot as her legs gave out beneath her. Quicker than a blink, you had lowered her safely to the ground and spun on your feet, sprinting towards the edge of the cliff.
You were airborne for a split second as you went over the cliff. However, before you could feel the cold wind around you, your body crashed into the sharp rocks that were sticking out the side of the cliff as you hissed, yelling out in pain.
You're eyes shot up as you saw Natasha's red face, her eyes dripping tears you had hardly seen before as one fell to land on your cheek. Her hand gripped yours tightly as she lay flat on the cliff-top, stopping you from falling and further. "G-Give me y-your hand!" She stuttered out, her voice thick with emotion. "Give m-me your h-hand, Y/N Stark!"
"Nat, nat... Natasha!" You called out, stopping her from demanding that you grip her tightly as you let out a small sob. "Please! Let me go."
"Y-You can't t-take this c-chance away from me!" She shouted, openly sobbing for the first time in her life. "It's supposed t-to be m-me!"
"You go back there with the stone, you bring everyone back and you continue looking after the world. That's who you are and that's who you're going to be. They need you... Now let me go!" You shouted, not wanting to prolong the torture of dangling above your destiny.
"They need you more!" She screamed, trying to reach out further in order to get a better grip on you. "T-Tony and S-Steve, they'll n-never f-forgive you!"
"Then so be it." You whispered, raising your legs and placing them against the cliff wall. "Knowing I kept you alive is enough for me. I love you, Natasha. Save them." You squeezed your eyes closed, forced your legs off against the cliff and pulled your arm sharply out of her grasp.
Natasha Romanoff's scream filled your ears as it grew quieter and quieter. Your eyes opened on their own accord to see that you were falling. Your perception of time non-existent, everything slowed down until there was nothing, only you and the sky above, the sky that seemed to swallow you whole. Your hand reached out, kissing the sky as the coldness of the air bit at your exposed skin. Everything was a blur, a blur that swirled out of existence. Free in the air, you smiled, closed your eyes and surrendered yourself to the fate you knew was coming.
The world rushed by in a blur and you know the pain was coming. It goes by fast, yet slow, almost suspended. Then... Impact.
Tumblr media
Natasha Romanoff collapsed to the ground, chocking out in almost hysterical breaths. Her eyesight was blurry, from the onslaught of tears or the bright lights that were dying down, she couldn't be entirely sure. She sobbed openly, her hand clenching the yellow stone she so desperately wanted to throw away.
She heard a few happy cheers go round at the fact they had succeeded in collecting the stones and travelling through time. She blocked the noise out, wanting to scream and shout at them. How dare they celebrate all they had gained when they had lost a part of them in doing so. It was then that she rationalised... They didn't know the loss. They had no clue.
They were yet to feel the pain she was feeling. As though someone had reached into her chest and ripped her heart out against her will. It was as she was in the middle of chocking on a particularly large wave of tears that someone finally took notice of the read head on the ground, trying to grip the floor as though she so desperately needed to anchor herself.
"Nat?" Someone called out.
She felt her suit retract around her as she shook her head, trying to contain her heartache that felt to much like she was dying.
"Nat?" Someone else called.
Natasha turned her right hand against the floor, her palm stuttering open and she glared down at the stone, watching as one of her tears fell to land on it.
"Nat?" It was Tony who had called her last, kneeling down as he gripped her shoulder. She could feel the way her hand shook from the small amount of contact. "Where's Y/N? Nat, where's my sister?" Natasha slowly lifted her head, her eyes focusing on Steve who stood with furrowed brows a few feet from them before she looked at Tony who seemed to, deep down, know where his sister was.
Nebula was the one to speak what had happened into the air as a series of shouts rang out. Thor was trying to justify that time travel worked and they had the stones so they could bring her back while Bruce was demanding to know why she had been allowed to go to Vormir. Steve had lowered himself to the ground, resting his head in his hands as his shoulder shook.
Tony Stark, big brother and guardian looked into Natasha's eyes once more and prayed for a miracle. "Where's my sister?"
"A soul for a soul." Natasha whispered.

Pax and her Potions: Prt 3/3
Part 1 & Part 2 @anxiousworm @vlanderzine yeet this is kinda long and I don’t regret it
Pax clung to the unburnt material of her cloak and tried her best to mute her crying. The pain hadn’t dulled and the smell was festering in the tight space she was buried under. Pushing herself up as much as she could, she listened for the whining-wail of the ghast that nearly blew her up.
Digging herself out with shaking hands, she coughed and spat out a mix of spit and coagulated ashes. Gingerly probing her back as she walked, Pax traced the edges of her burn. It was big, about the size of both her hands, spreading the width of her right shoulder blade. She did her best to hide the injury and make it look like there wasn’t a charred hole in her clothes.
Climbing back up the netherrack mountains and avoiding the piglin patrols ached. The sudden awareness of time also started chewing away at her.
Space in the Nether was a screwy concept Pax had only the barest idea of how it worked. Time was another factor entirely. She berated herself all the while as she backtracked to her tunnel, silently regretting ever choosing to jump into this hell as literally as possible.
Shuffling her hands around her midsection, her fingers bumped into the nether wart. Her train of self-loathing paused for a moment as she rubbed against the smooth texture of the forgien plant. Out of impulse, Pax tore off a bit and popped it into her mouth.
The flavour was surprisingly not terrible. It was some mix of sour-spicy and juicer than she expected from a plant that grew around lava pits and fire monsters. Even the aftertaste was tolerable. Pax wasn’t sure if that meant she was weird, or something else.
Finally coming upon her tunnel, she began her climb down and was filled with relief at the thought of being able to go to bed. Then, after hearing the sound of pickaxes beneath her, another moment of self realization hit her.
She’d thought of a way through the portal, but she hadn’t considered a way out. Thinking harder about it, the guards would be stationed by the portal and she didn’t know their shifts. So if she did go through, there’d be no easy way to escape.
“Fuck,” She hissed. She wanted to scream so badly, the urge clogged her throat.
Pax beat her frustration into the ground, punching and crumbling the sandy red stone under her fist. More bruises would form and some small, logical part of her said getting more injuries wouldn’t help. She ignored it until she worried that a knuckle would split.
Dropping her head between her legs, she sat at the mouth of her makeshift tunnel and tried to consider her options. Staying in the Nether was not viable and going home would mean facing her parents and whatever reaction they’d have to her. Pax laughed to herself, pushing up her sweaty hair and started to climb back down the tunnel.
The other miners in the main tunnel didn’t notice her - she pulled up her hood to keep them from recognizing her too - and most were solely focused on mining the quartz used to build the redstone components the engineers relied so heavily on.
That sparked the inkling of an idea. As Pax made her way back to the portal, she found a small vein and chipped away at some small fragments. Her pockets were stuffed to the brim but she managed to make room.
Shuffling down to the hub, a steady stream of workers and guards made their way through from the overworld portal. Most didn’t look too dissimilar from her, with ashy pants and faces from their time in this dimension. She kept her pickaxe hanging by her side to try and look like one of them as she shuffled through the crowd.
The sunlight was harsher than she expected on her eyes. Bringing up one hand to block her face, Pax realized with a startling fear that the sun was up.
“Hey, you there!” One of the guards called out. “Don’t move!”
Pax didn’t - running would’ve been futile - but still flinched when they turned to look at her face.
“Have you seen - Miss Valora?” He startled. “You - you’re here? Your parents are worried sick, come, I’ll call for an escort to your residence.”
“Sure.”
The march back felt more like a funeral procession to the wannabe alchemist. People pointed at her as she walked, Pax could imagine all the terrible rumors that would spill from this incident. No doubt her parents reputation would drop and any she had left would crumble to dust.
Cynicism drenched her mind as they came upon the street her house was built on. It wasn’t as if she cared what people thought of her and it wasn’t like they cared about her. Pax made a bet with herself on whether or not she’d be yelled at for leaving her room or causing a disturbance first.
“Miss Valora! Where were you! We had the entire city searching for you, this sort of teenage rebellion is idiotic. You’ve made yourself look like a fool!”
Flinching at the sound of her mother crying out, Pax shuffled into the doorway and kept at arm's length from both parents.
“Couldn’t find the materials for the farm. So I just went out and got ‘em.” She lied.
“Well why didn’t you just go into the markets? Why did you have to go into the Nether! You aren’t allowed to be by yourself in such a dangerous place at all!”
Pax rolled her eyes. “I probably shouldn’t be up till sunrise working on machines that aren’t broken, but we don’t always get what we want.”
“That was for you to learn! We both explained everything and you didn’t listen. Do you want us to yell at you?”
“Sure,” Pax forced her voice neutral. Her lip still twitched, “I’m gonna go change.”
She didn’t run up the stairs, but she could tell her parents were still behind her and intending on lecturing her. Pulling the door open and hastily throwing it shut, she frantically searched her room for something to barricade her door. A flash of impulse told her to just jump out the window and make a break for it.
Finally, when she heard her parents' footsteps pause by her bedroom and finally descend down the stairs, Pax collapsed to her knees and tore off her burned clothes.
“Didn’t even realize it,” she laughed with bitter satisfaction, “you didn’t even fucking notice. And they call me the idiot.”
Grabbing a spare water bottle to try and wash down the ashy taste in her mouth, Pax grabbed a small pair of shears and began cutting away the ruined cloak to make bandages. She cleaned off the wound as long as she could tolerate and finished wrapping her back.
Sorting through the resources she gathered, she tossed aside the quartz and dumped all of her new ingredients onto her desk.
The orange-slime thing the piglin gave her looked exciting, so Pax began with that. Under the morning light, she ran through all the steps of preparing the brewing stand before finally adding the nether wart. Watching it filter into the water filled her with the same mix of dread and glee exploring the Nether gave her.
Once it was finally gone, Pax was surprised to see that the water didn’t look that changed. There was a very, very slight, opaqueness to the liquid and the sense that something was different. Pax decided to trust her intuition.
Gathering a clump of the orange slime, the amature alchemist sucked in a breath and poured it into the brewing stand.
“Please work, please, please, please work for me just this once,” She begged, “don’t let this be a waste.”
It felt like hours were ticking by as she watched the water bubble in the glass bottles. Her fingers picked at her arms, nearly breaking skin from anxiety that crawled across her body.
She hardly believed it when the water turned a shimmering, rich amber.
“No way,” Pax’s eyes lit up.
Gingerly, she pulled the glass bottle free. The liquid was glowing, there was no mistaking it. Clapping one hand over her mouth, Pax could feel more tears running down her cheeks. Happy hiccuping noises filled her throat and she had to stop herself from dancing around her bedroom.
She didn’t even hesitate to swallow the entire contents. The spice was unexpected and the flavor burned deliciously down her throat. Pax relished in the sudden pulse of warmth through her body and the tingle of magic running through her veins. There was an effect, now it was just a matter of figuring out what.
That could come later, she jotted down that combination in her notebook and switched in a new bottle.
Pax blended together all the ingredients she could find; golden carrots, leaves, redstone, sugar, gold nuggets, anything and everything she could find stashed away in her room.
The orange potion, she realized, was a form of fire immunity when she ran into a torch and it didn’t leave a burn. The silvery-blue mix left her feeling hyper and charged with energy. When she mixed up her ingredients with extra blaze powder for the brewing stand, the mix left her feeling like she could fist fight a zombie horde and win. The one she accidentally dropped a golden carrot into cleared her vision and allowed her to see perfectly in the dim evening light.
It was only when Pax had ran out of clean bottles and all but the night vision had worn off did she relax against her bed.
“I actually did it,” she said to herself, “I actually did it. This worked, I did this. I did this.”
An immense feeling of pride rose in her. Then, after a pause, anger.
“Call me stupid now,” Pax scoffed.
She broke out into laughter bordering on hysterics. Her vision was sharpened beyond any normal senses, her thin muscles ripped with adrenaline and her entire body was immune to fire. No machine could accomplish this, no set of redstone and repeaters could grant this kind of power.
This was a lost innovation she’d rediscovered all on her own. Pax wondered what her parents would say about it.
Pax considered it. She’d done research, kept notes, and did all the things engineers did. Just with magic instead of redstone. And there could be practical uses for this; keeping miners in the Nether safe, helping people working in the low light mob farms, all manner of things.
The idea of being able to help others, combined with the hope of making her parents proud made for a compelling argument. But just to be safe, Pax hid away her brewing stand ard her notes, taking one of her fire resistance potions down with her as proof.
She’d ignored the call to dinner, but now she climbed down the stairs with her heart pounding against her chest. The table was silent, but the sounds of utensils on plates paused when she came down.
“So, there’s something I’ve been working on.” Pax muttered.
“I couldn’t hear that,” Her mother snipped.
“Speak up,” Her father ordered, “you know you shouldn’t mumble.”
Breathing out, she nodded, “I was working on a project in my free time. I finally had a breakthrough… and… I dunno, I thought you would want to know.”
Her hands were shaking as she pulled out the bottle and set it on the table. Both her parents stared at it, expressions unreadable.
“I-it’s a fire resistance potion. Like the ones from the stories, but it works I swear,” She started to ramble, “I took one and I fell into a torch but it didn’t burn me and I think if you fell in lava like in the cobblestone generators it’d be helpful to those working in them and prevent injuries and - “
Her mother pushed herself out of her chair and glared down at her, “This is what you’ve been doing? Is this why you tried to sneak out last night?”
“Y-yes but I promise it’ll be important. I can make more and I can - “
“This is what you’ve been wasting your time on?”
Glass shattered as Pax watched the bottle shatter across the floor.
“You idiot! You have so many opportunities and you’re wasting all of them! Me and your father have given you every chance to learn and you refuse every time! It’s like you want us to be mad at you, is that it?”
“It’s not!” Pax sobbed, “I don’t want this! I don’t want you to be mad at me! Do you seriously think I want this?”
“Then why don’t you listen to your mother?” Her father added, arms crossed with vague disappointment.
“I do! I swear I was really trying. I wasn’t being lazy!”
“Then why aren’t you better? If you really want to be better, then why aren’t you working to be better?” Her mother yelled back.
“Well maybe I’m just a fucking idiot then!”
Pax sprinted back up to her room. This time, she shoved her entire bed against the door. Eyes blurry, she ran to grab all her belongings and stuffed them into a bag and her pockets. Outside, it began to rain.
The wall she’d broken the night before was still loose.
She threw herself into the branches of the nearby tree, then downed one of her swiftness potions and made a break for the gates.
Guards stationed by the entrance noticed her approach. Pax barreled past then, throwing off their arms as she pushed towards the wilderness. Her vision was still saturated, and along with her tears, it gave everything she saw a blurry, dream like quality.
She couldn’t remember how long she ran for. When her legs finally started to cramp and the cold started seeping through her clothes.
Gasping for air and whipping her dripping nose, Pax looked up to her surroundings. Through the trees, she could see stars in the deep navy sky. Her vision flickered and everything went dark for a perilous moment.
She was cold, terrified and exhausted. The alchemist robotically ordered herself to find shelter and she started wandering deeper into the woods.
There wasn’t much that looked like shelter. But ‘shelter’ to Pax always looked like four walls and a roof. Before her potion effects faded, she spotted an entrance to a small tunnel and the faint light of a torch.
She nearly slipped on the stone as she made her way down. Oddly, Pax noticed that the torch was made from redstone. Shrugging off her wet cloak, she couldn’t find the energy to care about that anomaly.
Resting her shoulder against the perfectly smooth - were they supposed to be smooth? - walls of the cave, Pax rolled one of her potions between her fingers and listened to the patter of rain.

hold on {bakusero}
tw : mentions of medication, insecure Sero,  kidnapping, mentions of rape and torture.
It was another normal Monday morning, Bakugou had woke up early to make breakfast for the class. Kirishima had already left to do a quick early morning run. Bakugou never really liked the fact that Kirishima did this so early in the morning, but out of all his friends he was probably the one with the best stamina. So it didn't bother him as much as it would if his electric friend did this every morning. Kaminari always tried to get the most sleep he could after falling asleep at 4am. Bakugou always made sure he was the last one woken up and made sure he still had time to do his entire routine.
Sero was the first one in the kitchen with Bakugou. Sero almost always was the first one in the kitchen with Bakugou. Being the only other member who can cook something that isn't beans on burnt toast. This also helped Bakugou out with reminding him to take his medication, Sero has always hated taking medication. It made him feel weak and like he would never ever be able to be a hero. Bakugou stared at him with loving eyes. He was so proud of his boyfriend. He adored everything that he saw infront of him. He especially loved his arms, he didn't care that he had his unique elbows. He admired them. That's where his power was and he had learned to embrace it! If Bakugou had that, he would wish for himself to have no quirk. He wouldn't of been able to handle all the mean comments. You can guarantee that anyone that made those nasty comments would be blown to bits! He loved Sero, he made his heart go boom every single fucking time.
"Hey shorty, what ya making?" Sero asked him and planted a small quick kiss on his cheek. No matter how many times Sero kisses Bakugou, Katsuki will always become flustered. It annoys him that some random extra he met turned into one of the most important people in his life, he became the most important person in his life. He was no longer an extra, he has grown to be the boy he wants to spend his entire life with. Yes, he may be young, but he knows what he wants. And his is Katsuki Bakugou for fucksake, if he has a goal that he wants to achieve. He will achieve it. And he will do the best he can. "I thought I told you not to call me that, Soy Sauce?" Bakugou grunted in response to Sero's nickname. He had also hated the height differnce they they had. But he never let it get to him. Although he always ended up getting smothered in forehead kisses, not that he ever really complained. "Oh shut up, you love it when i call you shoty. Now what are you you making?" Sero asked again, a small subtle smirk on his face. "I am making pancakes and orange juice." Bakugou smiled, knowing Hanta loved oranges. And seeing the small look of excitement on his face made him grin. "I can always test out the orange juice to make sure it is a good enough quality for our classmates." Hanta chuckled. "Well, you can help me make it. Go juice those oranges for me." Bakugou ordered. Pointing to the oranges and the juicer. "What are we going to do about Mina?" Sero asked, Mina's quirk being acid ment she cant have very acidic foods. And Oranges contained a lot of Citric-acid.  "I will just give her a glass of water or milk like I normally do." Bakugou replied. Focusing on making the perfect pancake batter while Sero made the orange juice.
Soon, the entire class were sitting in the common room and were eating the pancakes and drink their juice. This was the point were Sero began to zone out. He was just thinking about how he compares to everyone. He would never be as perfect looking as Aoyama, or have his level of confidence. He would never be able to save people in the way Mina can. He would never be as capable as Asui, or have as many abilities as her. He will never be as hot or rich as Shoto Todoroki. He will never be as powerful as Denki. He will never be as cute as Ochaco. He will never be as amazing and strong as Kirishima. He will never be as smart as Yaomomo. He will never be as talented as Jirou. He will never be as strong and powerful as Tokoyami. He just had to look at his boyfriend, the future number one hero, too see how weak he was. He can shoot a little bit of tape and that's it.
Him not paying attention alarmed his boyfriend but he didn't think much of it. Maybe it was just too loud or him, or he was thinking about something. Bakugou didn't push on it though and he let it slide. He was willing to not question it at all as long as he seemed fine through out the rest of the day. What if something was actually wrong with Sero but it was being ignored? What would he do?
Now it was Bakugous favourite time of the day, sparring! It ment he got to kick some asses and impress his hot ass boyfriend. If he wins the match he has a guaranteed kiss on the lips and plenty of cuddles. And Sero's cuddles were the best. Who wouldn't do anything to be wrapped up in those long arms, being spooned by the tall boy. To Bakugou you couldn't make anything better, unless Hanta had his shirt off. Any form of affection from Sero to Bakugou was heaven. Whenever he looked at Hanta he swears he believes he had gone to heaven, it was like the boy had a glow around him. And his scent was heavenly and made Katsuki feel so safe. He could probably go on a rant about every aspect that he loved about Sero, but we would be here for eternity.
"Hanta Sero and Katsuki Bakugou!" The two stepped forward. Looking at each ither. Sero simply looked like he had already given up, he had a disheartened look on his face. This concerned Bakugou, but he didn't want to loose the fight! What type of hero would he be if he just let someone get away because they looked sad? For all he knew Hanta could just be guilt tripping him so he could win! That would be a very smart tac-tic if Katsuki would actually fool for it. Katsuki was better than that, "You know you shouldn't underestimate me babe!" Bakugou snarled, sending an explosion his way. It was a warning shot, he expected Sero to move away. But he just stood there and let the explosion make him fly backwards. Which caused Bakugou to have yet another victory under his belt.  But he was also left drowning in guilt and concern for his boyfriend who he had to help up. Because there was no way that that boy was going to get up himself. He just wanted to stay led down, he slowly processed what happened. He just knew he had no energy left in him.
Now it was time to go back to the dorms, he had to help Sero get changed. Which resulted in a whistle from Kaminari. Bakugou obviously threatened to blow him up. He picked Sero up and carried him all the way to the dorms. He was going to force an answer out of the ravenette. A real one, not a lie to get Bakugou to stop worrying. Because clearly something was wrong. So Bakugou would not stop until he got a real answer. He doesn't care if it means he gets no kisses for a month. He wants his love to be happy and feel confident, not sad and alone.  He would do anything to protect the person he loves the most, and that person was the future hero Cellophane.
"Love... whats wrong?" Bakugou asked, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked into Hantas big eyes with his red ones. He spoke gently, as if Hanta was fragile and would break if he wasn't careful. In a certain sense he kind of was. Sero looked like he could break down any second, Bakugou couldn't figure out what had happened from this morning to now. What could of possible changed his mood so quickly? Was it a person? If so, Bakugou would not be afraid to explode a little dicked extra's ass. "Who made you this upset? I swear I will fucking kill somebody!- huh?" Bakugou stared down at Sero in shock. The boy had began to cry and just ran out of the room. And away from everyone. Bakugou was still surprised and confused as to what happened. He thought it was him, so he left it and didn't push on it. Silently cursing himself for doing that. How could he be so selfish?! He was so stupid. Sero probably hated himself now and he had no idea on how to make it better. That was until Kirishima knocked on his door, he hadn't realised he had been crying until he looked in the mirror. He shouldn't be the one crying. He hurt his boyfriend, causing him to run off. He hoped someone had ran after him, because Bakugou had no idea what happened.
"Hey Bakubro? Can I come in?" Kirishima asked, knocking on the door again. Assumng Bakugou just hadn't heard him. "What do you want, shitty hair?" Bakugou grunted at his red-haired best-friend. Eijirou took that as an invitation to enter the boys room. "Bro, you look upset? What happened Sero ran out of your dorm crying? Bro did you too break-up?!" Kirishima questioned. Sitting down besides Bakugou on his bed. Bakugou just launched himself at Kirishima. Practically forcing Kirishima to hug him, he felt so guilty. "Bro... what happened?" Eijirou asked again, this time much gentler and softer. Playing around with his hair. He knew this was one of the best ways to calm him down. "I-I think I upset him... or scared him... I have done something to make Hanta upset... I fucked up my relationship. I fucking love him- I love him so much- I don't know where he has gone. Do you know?! I need to know- I need to fix this-" Bakugou rambled, his face bright red due to the feeling of panic and stress. "Bakugou... you need to breathe. Ok? Deep breaths. You cant help him if you are like this. I think that Kaminari followed him... I am not sure." Kirishima cooed. Rocking the boy gently. He was kind of glad Sero did this, now he could finally see how much Katsuki cared. The explosive boy may struggle to show his love and his concern sometimes. But he did truly love him. Kirishima knew that, but the amount of times Sero had came crying to him or Denki or Mina about how concerned he was that Bakugou was only doing this to get people to stay off his back, or doing it out of pity, had amazed Kirishima.
Now Kirishima had a sleeping Bakugou in his arms. He couldn't exactly move. So he just laid down with Bakugou. He hoped if Sero saw this, he would understand it was platonic cuddles. He really hoped that when they woke up tomorrow they would see Sero sat on Bakugous lap while drinking his orange juice. He didn't want to see any sad Bakugou. He didn't want to see a room with no Sero. He couldn't handle the thought of one of his best-friends going missing. Lord knows what could happen if Sero went missing, how would his boyfriend react? How would the Bakusquad survive without the tape that holds them all together and keeps them unified? They would be lost.
~
It was now Saturday afternoon, Bakugou came out of his room for the first time in the past two days. Sero hadn't come back. But when Bakugou ran out of the room he looked like he had seen a ghost. He mirrored his phone screen onto the common room TV to show a picture of Sero tied up, he had a white substance covering his face, bruises all over his abs. And blood trickling all the way down his arms. Then he swiped left and he showed the entire common room a video of Sero surrounded by large grown men. He had one person entering him through his ass and the other one was thrusting his hips into his mouth. Sero was sobbing, he looked so broken and traumatised. He looked like he wanted to scream. But he just couldn't. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't get any words out. It was a heart breaking sight. His boyfriend was on his knees crying, Mina was crying too. Kirishima and Denki were sniffling as they looked in horror. The rest of the class looked nauseous and pale. "W-We need to go save him- w-we need to go find him-" Bakugou yelled. Luckily Aizawa was there, he was meant to be doing the weekly dorm inspections. He was able to see the whole thing. He was heartbroken. He had too watch his student go through that. He was helpless. He knew he needed to get him back.
~
That's how they ended up here. A beaten up passed out Sero in the arms of Katsuki Bakugou. While the rest of the class were fighting against the league. "Baby... baby... baby hey..." Katsuki cooed gently. Running out to one of the ambulances. Sero needed medical attention as soon as possible. He was put on one of the beds, being connected to a drip and had an oxygen mask on his face. Bakugou had to leave him... he just wanted him to be safe.

Warning! Mentions of blood from someone tripping!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wonho stood facing his brother, watching his every movement, from this breathing patterns to even how he blinked, ready to anticipate any move. He remembered moments just a few hours ago, watching his once timid brother, even frightened his own ability in fear of losing control or summoning another storm in the past, defeat a great number of armored mages before. He recalled seeing how his brother was able to vanish into a bolt of lightning only to appear above the mages, electrocuting them all near to death.
“Let’s see how well you were trained,” Changkyun growled, cocking his head to the side while raising his eyebrow. Standing before his brother feeling a bit apprehensive, fully aware that his brother was now and always has been physically and ability wise stronger. The last time they faced each other like this was when their parents had begun to train Wonho, making the two brothers spar to see where the level of his ability was, pinpointing where they should work on, unfortunately resulting in Changkyun to be injured, defenseless to his brother’s power due to his fear of activating his own ability. The air vibrated around him, filled with electricity. He could feel his energy rising and expanding within him from the moon amplifying the wattage behind his bolts from his hands.
“Brother or not, I’m not going to hold back, not like I used to,” Wonho’s voice was husky and flat, his head tilted downwards so his white eyes peeked through the ends of his black hair. His practically glared as his eyes pierced into Changkyun’s soul.
The energy in the room was the strongest the headmaster had felt in many years from such youthful mages. He sat on the edge of the seat with a clear view of the two, unable to predict who would even begin let alone win. “You boys are going to make me rich..” The headmaster felt even more empowered knowing he now had these two along with two others in his.. collection. “No one will stand a chance..” His lips curled upwards, watching diligently, anticipating their next moves.
Changkyun gave a cocky smirk to Wonho before he disappeared into thin air, moving as fast as lightning through the air until he appeared behind Wonho, attacking him with his lethal electricity, only for Wonho to turn, using his hands to guide a vector, changing the magnitude and the direction of Changkyun’s momentum, launching him towards the wall only for him to disappear once again before any collisions. He appeared once again above him, his hands holding an orb. He threw it at Wonho, only for it to disappear in a cloud which formed around him in a matter of seconds. It wasn’t long before a thunderous boom echoed within the closed room, making the ground shake.
“My, my, Changkyun’s able to make an electric bomb at such a young age?” The headmaster spoke to himself, watching closely, his eyes almost unable to keep up with movements of Changkyun, but noticing how Wonho had stood in his one stance the entire time, not moving a foot and just watching Changkyun move and attack him.
The professor thought too soon before he watched Wonho in his cloud bubble, only to see him burst out of it, headed straight towards Changkyun with one of his hands casting a bright light, releasing a tremendous amount of energy with it. He released an enormous and destructive wave of energy towards far stronger than Changkyun’s electric bomb as he stood there, watching the bright ball, crossing his arms in defense at the last minute. Everyone in the room could feel Wonho putting out an arduous amount of energy which would normally drain the energy of a handful of normal mages, yet he stood there with his white glowing eyes, his energy never wavering. Wonho was no normal mage.
The orb of energy had full directly against Changkyun’s body, making him feel a pain all over his body as if he had just been cut open. It seared through his abdomen, his mind conceding to torment as he was unable to bring a thought to completion. He wanted to curl his body up into something primeval and all while the pain burned and radiated, but he couldn’t move. He lay there for a few seconds, but felt like hours, until the pain slowly went away, allowing him to slowly stood up. His hair color had gone from a white a bit back to his dark brown hair, but it was in the middle. As he stood up, his hair slowly began lightening up, his energy rising once again making the atmosphere around him vibrate with electricity.
“Impressive, I’m surprised you can still move your body let alone get up, but then again, like you said, this room will heal you,” Wonho’s voice was low and husky as he watched his brother stumble upwards before he disappeared once again.
“The bomb had no effect. Of course, he nullified it away from him. But how about this?” Changkyun appeared before Wonho, summoning lightning bolts as he projected them through his hands. He hoped to never use this capability against anyone, especially his own brother, but that thought was gone after Wonho had used his energy motion blast on him, putting every fiber of energy he had into this capability, allowing emotions to take over him.
He remembered when the four of them; their parents and them, would take Wonho to train, but they couldn’t leave Changkyun alone so they let him watch. They would drive for hours to abandoned military bases where they usually would take Wonho, training him, bringing their friends to guide him as well. Changkyun remembered sitting on a grassy area under some trees to the side of a runway for planes as he watched his brother in the middle of the runway, practicing this one capability, making it his strongest against any opponent. He would practice on mannequins as his target and over time, once he got used to it to the point of superb control, he was able to use this ability without wasting a bit of his energy which was near impossible for any other mage with his ability. The mannequins they would bring would be deteriorated along with the surrounding area, making incredible craters in the runway, making it impossible to be used once again, but it was no problem for their father to fix it with his perivállonkinesis
“Kyunnie, your brother is very strong, but don’t worry my little one, your day will come as well~” Their mother held his hand, rubbing her thumb over the soft skin on the back of his hand, bringing it to her lips and kissed it. Deep inside, Changkyun always felt Wonho was their father’s favorite which resulted him enclosing himself away from his family, often spending time alone in his room allowing his true emotions to come out. He was usually quiet and reserved, sometimes “picked” on by his father in a teasing way but took it the wrong way, especially after believing he wasn’t seen in the same light as Wonho. His mother did see him in the same light, however, always bringing the sun to him in the darkest of storms. With her ability, she was able to control the storm he had unintentionally conjured, whisking them away when he felt his lowest. Sometimes, he left the door ajar, allowing her to peek in only to have her heart broken by seeing her own son crying silent tears, hugging his own knees with his face buried in between them. “The darkest of storms illuminated by the brightest of lightning..” She saw and felt his pain as she saw him in pain and could not tolerate it any longer. She made it evident from then on how she loved her children equally, showing twice the love towards Changkyun if their father wasn’t able to give it, but he did. Their father was and still is one of those men who does have emotions, just with a stone cold face on, even when he says he’s happy.
Changkyun’s hands landed on his brother’s broad, thick with muscle shoulders, launching bolts of energy which expanded on contact with him. To someone on the outside watching, it would seem as if this was ordinary lighting from the sky, but in this case, it was entirely different; these bolts were far more deadly in terms of voltage and speed, granting tremendous temperatures and kinetic force. The bolts rushed out of Changkyun through his skin as if he was sweating, feeling a bit of his energy being drained as he looked his brother dead in the eyes, as he sent millions to hundreds of millions of volts through him, enough to kill anyone in a second.
The headmaster stood up as he watched the bright light, almost squinting as he watched in wonderment. “Incredible,” his voice was a whisper as he watched. He could feel the tremendous energy in the air around him from the brothers.
Wonho’s jaw was clenched, feeling every nerve on fire within him, feeling as if he was a popcorn kernel about to pop. It was only a matter of time before Wonho channeled his nullification power as he grasped Changkyun’s wrists on his shoulder, negating the powerful elemental attack.
Changkyun felt it immediately, noticing his brother’s eyes glowing whiter. It was as if his senses were going numb instantaneously, his legs no longer able to support him and his arms no longer able to grasp onto Wonho. His hair was returning back to his dark brown hair, the electric vibrations in the air from his lethal volts were gone.
“You fought hard, Kyun.. But you still have a ways to go,” Wonho’s voice was lighter once again as he knelt down on one knee as his brother sat on the ground. His eyes returned to normal as his body temperature lowered once again. “Good job, bro. I’m proud.” He placed his hand on Changkyun’s shoulder, no longer to feel any high levels of energy between the two of them.
“I’m not done yet,” Changkyun growled, His hair flashed back to its whiteness as Changkyun raised his hands into fists before slamming them on the ground, emitting a wave of electricity all through the floor, damaging Wonho, sending him flying to the opposite side of the room. His body slammed against the wall before he collapsed from the hard hit. “Never let your guard down, the words you always told me when we were young. And now look at where we are now,” Changkyun’s voice was guttural as he slowly stood up, mini lightning bolts flickered through his fingertips.
Wonho lay face down on the ground before he slowly propped himself up with his arms, struggling to breathe since the wind was knocked out of his entire body from the hard contact with the wall. He heard every word from Changkyun understanding that the fight behind him wasn’t just for fun but for a type of revenge. He stood up, catching his breath.
“I have sat in your shadow for the longest. Do you realize how that feels? I felt honestly like an outcast in our family cause you always did so many things from extracurriculars in school and being top in your class to your own power. By the time I got to your age, I felt like nothing since mom and dad always excepted the same from me, only to be disappointed when I did something nowhere as close to your achievements,” his voice dripped in pain as he spoke the words from his heart. “But now.” He held his hand out in a gun shape, forming a small ball of electricity at his fingertip, aiming at Wonho. “I’ve grown stronger. I’ll cast my own light out of your shadow.” He shot the ball at him. It moved fast, splitting into several smaller balls.
The bullets moved fast, but Wonho moved faster from his years of training in defense. He spread his arms out, closing them together in front of him as the pelts of electricity shot into the water bubble around him, unable to penetrate it. He kept one hand up, able to make the bubble secure as he used his other hand in a lifting gesture to raise a wall of the ground as a wall. He released the water shield as the bullets stopped, creating a metal spear in his hand which released the water. Fortunately for him and his ability of elemental control, it didn’t just limit himself to the four principal elements, but they extended to others such as plasma, metal, matter, nether. Some elements he hadn’t thought about using them for they would be far too lethal, potentially killing the opponent, in this case, Changkyun. Room or not, he refused to ever use those elements. His eyes began to glow white, as he focused on his energy. He placed his free hand onto the ground, closing his eye and taking a deep breath, focusing everything the best he could into this one capability since he had only done it a few times in the past.
“Hiding now, are we?” Changkyun walked towards the stone barrier which barricaded his brother, fixating his power into his hands. He raised his hands, discharging streams of electricity in the form of arc strands, attacking the barricade. He stood a few feet away watching the deadly current he was emitting to the now crumbling structure. “Tsk tsk, father never taught us to hide,” Changkyun’s voice derisive, hearing nothing but the cracking and crumbling of the rock. A large crack had formed in the center before he was pushed backward by a large force.
“I would never hide from you,” Wonho’s voice dropped an octave, his eyes glowing white once again, brighter than ever. He was miniaturized as he stood beside a creature of his own making; custos lapis, a stone golem created, forged together with a mix of all the elements, given life but only for long enough to “defeat” Changkyun.
“I-Impossible.. How is it alive?” Changkyun began pushing himself backward with his limbs as it slowly began to walk towards him, shaking the arena with each step.
“I’m an elemental brother, which also includes nether manipulation, er, necromancy to understand better.” Wonho leaned back, beginning to watch his golem do the work. “Its short life was created only from a sliver of my energy which really is nothing considering the moon is so close now. My energy is immeasurable.”
Changkyun’s fire within grew, even more, about to explode. He stood up, using a large sum of energy for this capability. He had only used it once, but it was unintentional at the time. He had created a large enough storm which raised his energy capacity, overcharging him resulting him in releasing an electrostatic aura. He had released an aura of electricity making him untouchable to nonelectrokinetic mages. Since the energy was too much for such his young and small body, he had blacked out, but still serving as a lightning rod in his unconscious state.
The two brothers were on summer break, about two weeks in. They pledged to have as much as they could before Wonho would begin his official training with their parents. They ran around their spacious backyard, from chasing each other with super soakers and water balloons to changing the direction of the slip ‘n slide so they could slide down the slope their father had created with his ability, allowing them to slide directly into the pool. Their lives were carefree, not having to worry about school or the pressures of the future, living their best lives, but soon went away as Wonho threw a water balloon at Changkyun, too heavy for his light weight. Changkyun tried to run away from his brother but the next thing he knew, his body had fallen on the concrete, next to the pool.
“Changkyun! Are you alright?” Wonho ran over to his younger brother, hearing him beginning to cry as he gently turned him over. Changkyun began to cry out of the pain, seeing the ripped skin noticing he had hit his knee on a small grouping of rocks. Tiny pebbles were lodged into his wound, making it bleed and sting as the chemicals from the pool to keep the pool clean stung. “I’m so sorry, hang on, I’ll get mom.” Wonho ran inside, searching around the house for his mother.
Changkyun sat beside the pool, beginning to cry even louder at the pain. He tried to stand which only pushed the pebble in deeper, making it painful. He remained seated there as his blood dripped down his leg, some dripping into the pool. The skies had begun to go dark in a matter of seconds, wind blowing through as thunder began to sound from the skies.
Wonho ran all throughout the house, yelling for his mom, but finding no one. Their father had been out on a quest, arriving home in a few days. He noticed the sudden darkness envelop the house from outside. He looked out to see the storm begin to form above his brother. A lightning bolt had struck his brother, continuing to strike, beginning to charge him. Their mother was driving down their neighborhood before seeing the havoc before her.
“Changkyun..” She drove a bit faster, pulling into the driveway, leaving the groceries in the car and meeting Wonho as he ran out the front door of the house. “Sweetie, what happened? Are you hurt?” She bent herself lower, holding, Wonho’s head, scanning his body for any injuries.
“I’m fine, mom. It’s Kyun.” He brushed her searching hands off of her before taking her wrist and leading her quickly towards the backyard. They could see it as they passed the kitchen which, from the sink looked out into the backyard. Bolts of lightning flashed the dimly lit house bright as thunder shook the house while it echoed. They stood at the glass door, seeing him lying there unconsciously in his swim trunks, seeing his wound still there.
“Wonho, honey,” her voice were soft but urgent. She knelt down before him, holding his shoulders as she glanced both at Changkyun and him. “I need you to call dad, okay? He’ll pick up. Just tell him these simple words: Changkyun aura. He’ll understand.” He nodded and ran off towards the landline in the living room. She stood up, pulling open the glass sliding door, though it was challenging with the storm brewing outside, the wind had picked up. She finally managed to open it after a few hard pulls, closing the door, but not all the way behind her. She focused her energy, concentrating her ability in an attempt to control the storm above, raising one hand above her head. Usually, a storm like this was a breeze to do as it would go away in a matter of seconds. But this storm was unlike any other. It was as if Changkyun controlled it; his abilities were summoning the lightning, charging him like a battery that could never be charged fully. “His.. abilities are stronger than mine?” Their mother continued to try her best to control the storm, though it would slip out of her grasp. She used both hands, her hair becoming white as her eyes glowed a light blue. Just then, the storm had paused for a brief moment when she finally got a grasp on the storm above. She held it with one hand as she slowly made her way towards him. It was silent. She got closer and closer to him until she could hear the electricity coming off of him. It wasn’t long again before lightning bolts struck him once again, making her see the visible aura of deadly electricity around him. “Shoot,” she cursed before activating her abilities fully.
Their father, a couple hours away began rushing home after handing up with Wonho, putting his quest on hold, but luckily it wasn’t too urgent. He drove home, making a phone call. “Hello?” The familiar voice of his older sister, Wonho and Changkyun’s aunt, filled his ear. “I need your help, it’s Changkyun. Great, I’ll come to pick you up in about ten minutes.” He hung up. Fortunately, the location of his quest was only about half an hour drive away from home. He began to make a call home, all calls straight to voicemail.
Their mother stood in the backyard, having a somewhat grasp on the storm, only for it to slip out of her hands, allowing bolts of lightning to strike not only Changkyun but all over the yard, even lighting the tree on fire. “Wonho!” She called, seeing the young boy appeared at the glass door. “I need you to put out the fire!” She hoped he could hear her or at least read her lips through the thunder. After giving her a confused look, he slowly saw where her eyes were glancing, towards the tree on fire. He slid the glass door open, carefully walking so he wouldn’t be struck.
He focused his ability, pulling water from the pool and extinguishing the fire. Making sure every bit of it was out. He walked over to his mother. “Should I try to nullify Kyun’s powers?” He could tell their mother was contemplating considering she knew how strong his ability was, able to make someone unconscious if he nullified them long enough.
She silently nodded, watching him take action immediately. He carefully walked over to Changkyun, kneeling about a foot away. He concentrated on his ability, his eyes beginning to glow white before he reached his hands out.
“Stop!” Wonho quickly turned to the strong low voice of their father. A familiar woman stood beside him, their aunt. “Wonho, get over here, now!” His eyes had returned to their natural colors. He immediately obeyed, switching places with their aunt. She calmly stuck her hand out, placing it on Changkyun’s bare chest. Electricity had surged through her, causing her hair to change into a white shade immediately. Slowly, the storm above had begun to fade away. Their mother now able to whisk away the storm, making her hair and eyes return to normal.
The aura around Changkyun had faded, making it so that he could be touched without others fearing of being shocked to death. But just to be sure, their aunt had lifted the small boy in her arms, carrying him in. Their mother had cleaned his wound and him, tucking into bed. “He’s quite vigorous for someone his age.. Train him well.” The last words their aunt had told her younger brother before she left back home.
You walked through the woods, knowing you were at least three-fourths of the way there until you paused in your tracks, meeting a little chipmunk scurry around your feet. “Aw, hello,” your voice was light seeing such a small creature, the corners of your lips curled up after a very long time. You laid your hand down on the ground and it slowly approached you, sniffing your fingertips before climbing onto your hand, continuing to smell you, smelling your scent on your clothes. You giggled at how it tickled you with its little feet as it scurried up your arm, towards your shoulder.
“Are you lost?” You looked around, seeing no other chipmunks or hearing any scurrying like it had towards you other than the sound of the water flowing down the river to your side, making this entire journey very peaceful. You glanced back at it, seeing its cheek full with you assumed a nut or two, making you soft on the inside at how adorable the chipmunk was. You began to walk forward after it made peace on your left shoulder, beginning to eat its nut, seemingly unbothered that it was on you. You walked a few yards once again, only to be stopped, hearing a very loud snapping noise of a branch, making you look around your surroundings, but seeing nothing except trees around you, their branches swaying gently in the wind. “Hello?” you said aloud with your voice clear. You didn't know what to expect, but you knew not another person since you were pretty far in and there technically were no trails. You began to walk again, continuing forward but slower to watch your everything around you just in case it was another soul reaper, even though according to myths developed over time, they were rumored to only come out at night. If they came out during the day, all the souls they reaped would return to their bodies, continuing their lives and forgetting about how they died the excruciating death they faced before. You heard another loud snap, this time sounding like it was more to your side as you walked. You looked over to your left, feeling a cold shock run down your spine seeing what was creating the large noises. An animal, similar to the deer, though this creature was no ordinary deer with it being an omnivore. Its body was almost two times the size of one with white crystals running down its back. Its antlers were not made out of the typical bone from deer, instead, it was made out of something much more lethal; blazeblight, a substance rare and only grown on these mythical beasts.
“A guardian,” your voice was a whisper as you recalled the stories of these mythical creatures, along with others from a book your mother had bought you to keep you occupied and since you loved nature and everything in it. There had been no actual sightings so there were no actual pictures of them until this moment as you were face to face with one, it’s glowing orange amber eyes staring into yours. Your breath was taken away as you were enraptured by its natural allurement until you remembered why you were standing there. “Is it following me?” You tested your thought by walking, keeping your eyes on the creature before it confirmed your thought as it trotted on the other side of the river bank to your right. It followed you, never losing you from its sight and stopping when you stopped, continuing when you continued. The chipmunk on your shoulder crawled to your other shoulder, climbing off your body and jumped off your knee, running towards the nearest tree and climbing upwards without even stopping. “Aw, bye then.” You pouted your lower lip out, watching your little friend disappear, now leaving you alone with the guardian. “Welp, it’s just us now,” you sighed, beginning to walk forward. You looked over to it as it walked beside you, astonished at how majestic it was as it walked, sad to know that no one will ever see its true beauty like this, but content to know that you now had a little secret in your forest.
You were walking along until you looked at it once more, this time, its eyes appeared to be shining a darker red shade. You rubbed your eyes, thinking they were deceiving you or it was just the angle it was turned at. But the longer you looked at it as you stood still, you could see its fur from its head beginning to darken to a black color; the crystals on its body began to change color to a dark blood red color. It’s antlers changing, shifting larger as its ends suddenly became pointed, releasing a gas at which you could smell it, but it was near impossible for you to smell it since the river bank was a few meters wide.
“It was hours before they finally called me in to see her, Y/N. I bet you can’t even imagine what it feels like to go what I went through.” He spoke as he admired his art, glancing back and forth at you to see the resemblance.
“Sir, are you here for miss L/N?” A nurse approached him wearing purple scrubs and sneakers. She held a clipboard as she waited for his response.
“Yes!” He stood up immediately, following right behind her as she led the way, leading him towards elevators. She pressed the top floor, the private ward, rarely used for patients and only using it for the patients who could afford it and who desperately needed it. It was great since there were soundproof tiles within the walls, making it very silent. “How is she?” He asked, desperately needing to know. They walked down the white empty hallway, passing by a receptionist at her desk, much similar to downstairs, just not busy or as full with people.
“She is.. In a state we have never seen before.” The nurse led him into a room, seeing her lay there unconsciously as there were tubed coming out of her mouth for breathing. Her eyes were closed, looking like she was sleeping. A pulse oximetry was on her finger, tracking and measuring her pulse, showing on the monitor how slow it was as well as an IV tubing on your wrist.
“What happened to her?” He looked at her with broken eyes, his heart breaking on the inside. “It should have been me..” He teared up at the sight of her. He sat in a chair to the left of her, pulling it close and holding her hand gently, rubbing her soft, fair skin.
“The bullet we pulled out was cursed, infused with an unknown fluid to us and only injected when entered the human body. She’s in a coma, luckily since most curses usually kill those inflicted upon. Medically, her body will heal over time, but how long she will remain in the coma is unsure. I’m very sorry, I will give you some alone time. Please press this button.” She pointed to a red button near the door where she stood. “If you have any questions or if you need anything. You may stay as long as you like in the private ward.” She closed the door behind her, leaving the view of the windows that stretched along the length of the room.
He nodded in response, changing his full attention back to her his back facing the windows. The curtains of the windows to her right which looked out, seeing the view of Steepmire in the far distance, the tops of its skyscrapers peeked over the top of the trees. It was a city filled with bustling streets, never resting and full of life, filled with mages of all sorts, mainly those whose abilities were useful for companies.
“I’m sorry,” his voice broke as he crumbled down. “I’m so sorry,” his voice gravelly as he couldn’t help but let the tears fall. He held onto her hand with his one trembling ones while his tears dripped down his face. He wished and prayed to go back in time to that one moment, willing to give up his own soul to the devil himself, yet no such wish or prayer came true. What was done, was done. He had been by her side for most of the entire day, never leaving her side. The sun had set, making the room dark enough as he sat with his head tucked into his arms by her unconscious side.
A tall, dark, broad bodied person had entered the ward, making his way swiftly down the hallway, approaching the room. He entered silently, advancing towards him before placing his hand on his shoulder, waking the sleeping figure. “Kihyun..”

Tips on buying a juicer
Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer, A healthy ally!Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer: for what? How to use Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer 2 tips before buying a juice extractor:
The juice extractor is essential for a kitchen. Summer and winter alike, enjoy the benefits of fruits and seasonal vegetables by making your fruit juices.
Impossible to miss the phenomenon: star drinks of the summer, fresh fruit, and vegetable juices are rising. Proof, if any, juice bars are popping up on every street corner. This success, born of general awareness of the importance of a healthier diet, would perhaps not be so resounding without the existence of the Domaya's Smart & Silent Power juicer in Florida ! This product, which effectively grinds fruits and vegetables, gently separating pulp and juice, sits proudly in the kitchens of all foodists in search of small balanced pleasures. It has become synonymous with healthy and happy eating. It delights body and mind with vitaminized, colored, and fragrant potions, concocted according to your desires and over the seasons, based on organic food, of course.
Why prefer the juice extractor to the string of utensils that allow you to make fruit juice?
While the centrifuge or the blender transform the raw materials into juice at very high speed (implying the overheating of crushed or mixed foods and the disappearance of a large part of their vitamins), the juice extractor presents a speed considerably reduced rotation, which makes it possible to extract cold fruit or vegetable juice. Like steam cooking, cold extraction is the best: it makes it possible to obtain a drink of optimal nutritional quality.
Delicious vegetable drinks, but not only! They are generally sold with many accessories for making purees, sorbets, and even vegetable spaghetti. A good anti-waste idea? Recover the pulp present in the waste container and use it to prepare cakes or crackers, for example. Failing that, the pulp can also feed your compost.
Wash the fruits and vegetables, roughly cut them, put them in the neck provided for this purpose, press the button, and wait quietly for the glass to fill.
Do you want to know what wonders you can make with a juicer? Here are some recipes that will provide a healthy lifestyle and certainly create an impression on your guests.
Juice recipe based on Cranberries,
Ingredients
200g of Cranberries
4 Branches of Celery,
50g of parsley
1 Lime
Recipe
Wash the fruits and vegetables, peel and cut the lime, keeping the skin on. Cut the celery stalks. Place the fine filter in the Domaya juicer and squeeze everything.
Mix and enjoy.
Tools: Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer, fine filter
The benefits of this recipe
Cranberries contain fiber and vitamin C. They are an important source of potassium and phosphorus. Cranberries are superfruits richest in antioxidants: they help neutralize free radicals and prevent cardiovascular disease. Finally, they contain flavonoids, which help prevent urinary tract infections (at the rate of 2 glasses of 25cl of juice per day), fight against kidney stones, and prevent gingivitis.
Season: Fall/Winter
Healthy glow cocktail to preserve your skin after sun exposure
Ingredients
250g pumpkin
2 oranges
2cm ginger
Recipe
1. Clean, peel and dice the pumpkin
2. Peel the orange, keeping the white part, then cut it into quarters
3. Clean the ginger. It is not necessary to peel it
4. Squeeze everything with your juice extractor, alternating fruit, and vegetables
Tools: Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer in florida, fine filter
Do you know?
Pumpkin is a vegetable recognized for its vitamin C and carotene (provitamin A). It is twice as rich as carrots. The pumpkin brings to your juice a lot of beneficial antioxidants for the skin and the prevention of cancers.
Season: Summer/Autumn
Why choose Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer?
The owner should look for practicality, correct price, and the slow rotation speed (the slower the rotation speed of the extractor, the more the juice retains its benefits).
Pay attention to the width of the neck and avoid those that are too small if you want to save yourself long hours spent carving your food head-to-head with your cutting board and paring knife.
Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer in Florida is a practical product that has a market competetive design, price, and technology. It will certainly be the best investment to a healthy lifestyle.
My juice extractor: manual or electric?
It all depends on what you want to use your device for.
For fruit and vegetable juices: prefer Domaya's Smart & Silent Power Juicer.
For herbal juices: we will favor the manual extractor.
Why? Firstly, it is easier to reduce herbs to juice by the simple force of the arms. For a pineapple, it's more complicated! It is, above all, a question of speed of rotation and preservation of nutrients. Herbal juices are very rich in oxygen and chlorophyll; we try as much as possible to make our body benefit from all their benefits by proceeding with the gentlest and slowest possible extraction.

10 Of One of the best Juicers To purchase From £30 To £200
What is the appropriate sort of juicer to make recent wheatgrass juice? Can You employ a Centrifugal Juicer for Wheatgrass? It also has a big feeding tube and the parts are dishwasher secure which may save time on cleansing. This product could make as much as 24 per cent more juice than it’s leading competitor and it is easy to juice and matches entire foods which suggests much less prep time. That is a giant benefit as a result of it decreases prep time. Since a masticating juicer chews and grinds the food right into a pulp, this sort of juicer can be utilized to make natural child food. This kind of juicer is a extra efficient kitchen appliance because it extracts extra of the juice than different kinds of juicers. The gradual movement can crush by means of extra fiber and what's left is a excessive concentration of juice which is better for you. You can use spinach and kale, however it is basically not optimal. Due to its distinctive design it is in a position to juice a wide range of produce from firm vegetables like carrots and beets, to mushy fruits like tomatoes and grapes, and it even does leafy greens like kale, collards, and even wheatgrass properly!
Tumblr media
It even has a cool windshield wiper like component that may pre-clear the juicer for you! This juicer will swimsuit many people and is top-of-the-line in its worth vary and has a lot of positives as described above in its favour. The quality of juice from the Omega Juicer is superb so try it out for your self. For these of you that are not acquainted with the Omega Vert, it's a revolutionary new type of juicer called an upright juicer. What is not to love in regards to the Omega Vert 350? I like every thing about it. Are you looking for the perfect juicer underneath a hundred dollars? They are all prime quality juicer machines and have a stainless steel housing and have the power to juice soft and laborious fruits and vegetables. Does a Masticating Juicer have other Benefits? Masticate means to chew, and a masticating juicer chews and grinds up the wheatgrass, leafy vegetables or grasses into a pulp and squishes to extract the juice. You will see that that the Breville BJE200XL is one of the best juicers on the market under 100 dollars and simple to use you probably have by no means used a juicer earlier than.
Below one can find the very best inexpensive juicer available on the market immediately that is under a hundred dollars. If you treasured this article and you also would like to be given more info relating to bestjuicers please visit our web-site. If you're in search of the very best juicer for house use below 100 dollars that's efficient and durable and is among the finest in the market to purchase for my part. It appeared that all of the juicers in the marketplace had their execs and cons! This is due to juicers that make fruit juice or vegetable juice, corresponding to carrot juice, are centrifugal juicers. If you are looking to purchase a wheatgrass juicer to enjoy the superb health benefits of wheatgrass juice, you want to make sure to buy the perfect masticating juicer. To make wheatgrass juice, you want a guide or electric masticating juicer. No need to use ear plugs or push actually hard with the plunger. It’s straightforward to make use of and could be very highly effective. It is usually a quiet juicer that is straightforward to use.
What different juicer can boast that? With a seven-hundred watt motor, you may expect a high quality product and very easy to make your favourite juices all 12 months spherical. If you use natural fruits and vegetables, you can also make fresh organic child meals in your infant free of pesticides or chemicals. The pulp can be utilized to make a mulch or throw away. It also comes with a extra massive pulp bin which allows you to juice longer and you'll add vitamin wealthy pulp to any recipe. What I like about this juicer in particular is the very giant feeding tube, which makes it very easy to make use of. It additionally has a silent motor with a 800 to 1500 watts relying on the pace you utilize. Until a number of weeks in the past, I didn't have a easy answer. The process of juicing is very simple and can juice your wheatgrass very effectively but will probably be a bit slower to make sure that you get essentially the most out of your leafy greens. A centrifugal juicer will not work for wheatgrass or other leafy green vegetables or grasses. In those 8 years many individuals have requested me what's the most effective juicer to buy?
I have been in the pure well being motion for over eight years. You just run water over it. The plus aspect of triturating juicers is its capability to scale back oxidization of the food. The auger runs at lower speeds of 80 RPMs leading to no foaming, clogging, or heat build-up leading to much less oxidization of your fruits or vegetables, and thus retaining these extra nutrients. What they did, is take a single auger juicer and turn it on its head! What's The very best Juicer For Beginners? The other factor is that the centrifugal juicers aren't straightforward to clean. This is a key thing to consider: are you planning on making green drinks? The cleansing process can also be quite straightforward and the machine is a lot quieter with fewer elements. There wasn't one that I may recommend with no reservations! I would advise in opposition to getting one among them as a result of the centrifugal design isn't as good as an auger design. That means it makes use of a reducing disc as opposed to a gradual turning auger.
