did more work on Boe's house, finally building out the attic and basement, which completes the full structuring of the house itself.

more in-depth screenshots below

top to bottom visualization of each floor, from the roof down to the basement. a lot of the furniture is mostly placeholder brushes for the time being, at least if i ever look into having proper models to replace them. ive also restructured some doors and walls to be closer to how i've imagined his house to look, rather than leaving the layout as is, based off of existing victorian house plans. also said house plans didn't include a bathroom, so i also added one of those. not that Boe would need to use the toylot in any such way. skeleton and all. you know.

some closer looks at the actual rooms themselves, also showcasing the work put into creating the attic. the attic's framing is mostly me trying to ensure it makes sense visually while also cutting down on brushes. i'm kinda proud of the work i put into the bathroom's tub and curtains, for as rudimentary as the brushwork is. most rooms and the basement are pretty barebones, as i both haven't put much time into fleshing them out, and because some rooms i honestly haven't really imagined in my head before constructing all this.

and whadtha hell some kind of fuckin doggy dog. awesome creature, though. don't know what it is. a little weird and cool.

#boe #boe tai marrow #budd #my characters #my art #i turned off the clouds for now since i felt without them. the landscape feels more infinite #i'm very happy with how far i've gotten making his house #especially after the long period of time where i only had his front porch. an upper balcony. and the front silhouette of his house #i know i mentioned having restructured the rooms somewhat for the second floor already #but more specifically. i did so to match how i imagine boe's room to be layed out.#with a bed in one corner. and the entrance being in the opposite corner... uhh... like north west. bed. south east. door. yknow?#i imagine it like that due to Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst #which is a lot of the inspiration for how ive been imagining Boe's house.#so like there's one bedroom that is more or less how i imagine his room. with the entrance being behind the POV #i need to get back to playing that again. but i honestly should probably stream it to my friend sometime for fun.#also was fun recreating Budd in hammer. albeit very blocky #i mainly built him for scale since ive never properly visualized how big he is.#i think he's roughly (at maximum) this size #other than him. ive mostly been using the tf2 sniper for scale. as a visualization of Boe. since they have roughly the same proportions #more or less anyway.#anyway i hope you like his house. and his shed. and his concrete ring. and his nothing.

#orv #omniscient reader's viewpoint #secretive plotter #art tag #ink #i wanted to draw the Plotter crying but i realized that with the silhouette i. i didn't know where his eyes were #but anyways yeah it's a lot easier to get the image i want digitally #especially that border #very important #it's implied in the original post but i felt like drawing it traditionally would make it stand out too much.#the original drawing is smaller than my palm. no room for details really #i was wondering whether i should have one of his claws reaching beyond the border but just his elbow is enough #the file name for this is 'holy elbow' because of that and because the origin of the light rays is the white hand's elbow.#as for who the white hand is #well they're drawing him out. you can interpret that sentence in a number of ways #but they're definitely not a part of his canvas. not drawn in the same ink. but their presence or lack thereof is felt #and maybe by his reaching for that person he begins to fill the empty space in their world #maybe by becoming a constellation they can share space on the canvas with him #lightbox trick
