Where is this narrative of Hans being Henry’s little bottom princess came from? Is it because Henry has to save him multiple times? Because 80 hours into the first game what I could tell of Hans is that he’s a bit childish and bratty but capable of being mature and fair, like on the first hunt when he admitted he shouldn’t have brawl with Henry and was even ok with Henry cheekily asking for reward if you win the hunt. He’s also a massive womanizer and hot head and had engaged in multiple tavern brawls even when he was warned by Hanush not to and showed multiple time that he is a capable fighter and marksman to the point Hanush had him go with Henry and Bernard to hunt down a robber Barron. To me he’s very much like Henry: a young man who’s eager to prove himself and break out of the lot that was determined of his own life. You can tell that he gets along with Henry so well because they’re quite a like: both hot head, run their mouth too fast, and extremely eager to prove themselves. Trying to enforce a dynamic where they are polar opposite (the knight and the damsel in distress) just massively subtract from the comradely and romance they build over 2 games, because if Hans and Henry were anything like the dynamic people force on them they would never become friends in the first place. They are best friend first before they are lovers, and it was a relationship built as equals instead of master and servant.

What they get is the mangiest, and saddest, looking puffball of a mutt they've ever seen in a box... That is later revealed to be a werewolf child.

Luffy continues the act of being a dog cause he's the type of dumb kid that will eat anything so dog treats are like candy to him, and the blind man spoils him rotten. (Who is quickly becoming aware of what Luffy is, goes through a slight denial phase)

There's a B plot where Ace and Sabo are actually adults looking for their kidnapped brother with murderous intent on the original individuals that took him and possibly the current 'captors' of Luffy.
