And my Gacha Cheki design for the upcoming Fantome Bloom event on 4/20 at Happy Lemon SLU (2245 8th Ave R1-1A, Seattle, WA 98121). There's gonna be a ton of freebies and fun activities to check out! I'll share the official promo when it's live as well 👻🌸

For this design I wanted to put her in a cute outfit that she might wear to see the cherry blossoms at the UW campus :3 Inspired by Liz Lisa as well~ Fun fact - the photo in the background is one I took last year on campus!

Sampo one day decided to explore Belobog and hearing gossip about a new wealthy businessman (the reader) who, let's say makes money by designer clothes (like the reader from Kaeya's oneshot) he makes clothes for the higher ups like Cocolia and Bronya and is basically just well known

He walks around in the upperground and stumbles upon Serval outside her workshop talking to a random guy (the reader, we call him random guy because Sampo doesn't know yet)

Let's say, Serval is commissioning the reader to make her a new outfits that matches her and her siblings (I want fluff) and Sampo is basically eavesdropping in the conversation. (There was nothing secretive it was just the reader and Serval chatting while Serval was commissioning the reader to make matching outfits for her and her siblings)

Serval goes back inside her workshop and reader then drops his facade while then looking at the direction of where Sampo is hiding, he shouts for Sampo to come out (I think he'd go with something like "I know you're there" or "get out, there's no point in hiding" question)And basically their relationship onward is like an enemies to enemies and lovers (I like enemies while being lovers 😍😍)

our beloved pathetic slu—ahem, sampo decided to explore the overworld. even after belobog was saved by the astral express, he can wander around freely…he just doesn't need to get himself caught in illegal activities. as the male took a stroll around belobog, he noticed people were gossiping about a new businessman…? he eavesdropped on one conversation.

“You mean…[Y]...THE [Y], the one who designed clothes for the Supreme Guardian and Miss Bronya?!” One of the citizens asked their friend. “Is he really here?”

“Yep, that's him. I wonder what he'll be working on next? I have been saving my money since I know it'll be very expensive…” another citizen stated. “I've heard that he just started his businesses a few days ago. We first heard of this when someone rumored that the Supreme Guardian’s clothing was designed by him.”

“Wow…”

“Oh…? A new businessman, they say~” sampo chuckled, rubbing his hands as the two citizens walked away. “Who’s this [Y] they're talking about…?”

the blue haired male noticed serval talking to an unfamiliar gentleman, so he decided to eavesdrop on them and listened in.

“I see. I think I'll be able to get done on time.” the mysterious male told the blonde. serval beamed, “I knew I can count on you with the design. Remember: there's no need to overdo it.”

“I won't.” the male nodded. “See you later?”

“Yeah. See ya later.” serval waved to the male before heading into her workshop. the mysterious male’s smile turned downward and demanded sampo, “Hey, how long are you gonna stand there? Come out and show yourself.”

sampo flinches and slowly steps out of his hiding spot to reveal himself to the male. the [h] haired male sighed, “Who are you and why were you eavesdropping on us? Matter of fact, I don't think I have seen you before except I've seen you on the wanted poster before belobog was saved by the astral express.”

“Ah…well, I'm Sampo Koski. Nice to meet you…uh…” sampo trailed off, awaiting for the male's name. the mysterious male sighed, “[Y] [L]...”

“Mr. [L]~ A beautiful name for a handsome young man~” sampo beamed, rubbing his hands together.

“...You know you're not so good at hiding your “i'm gonna scam the hell out of this businessman” face.” [y] deadpanned, crossing his arms, “And flirting…? Sorry, I don't do shit like that.”

“Huh. You're no fun. What's with this fancy of yours? Fashion?” sampo asked.

“What else do you think I am? A delivery boy?” [y] raised his eyebrows. “What are you plotting, Koski?”

“Hey, hey~ Come now, my friend. And just called me by my first name…” sampo frowned, correcting the male. “I'm just trying to have a friendly conversation, that's all.”

“Firstly, I'm not your friend. Secondly, your “friendly conversation” won't work. I'm not gonna befriend a scammer and then get scammed later on.” the fashion designer argued, narrowing his eyes at the blue haired male. “Your way of talking is what makes you so suspicious, not to mention, your hands rubbing antics.”

“Sheesh. What happened to “customers are always right”, huh?” sampo inquired. [y] sassily place his hands on his hips, “Correction: “customers aren't always right”, that's being said: “I’m always right”. I don't serve disrespected customers nor scammers. They'll be thrown out immediately, I don't care if it damages my reputation.”

the blue haired male blinked owlishly, almost amazed, “Wow. Just wow. You're quite a callous one.”

“That's what everyone says. Listen, if you set foot in my shop, I'm reporting you to the silvermane guards for your illegal activities.” [y] warned the con artist before walking to his shop. “Toodles…”

“Hey! That's a false alarm!” sampo furrowed his eyebrows. the fashion designer brushes it off, “That's your problem, not mine.”

sampo groaned as he crossed his arms before letting out a smirk, “What a hunk~”

sampo obviously ignores the male's warning, but unexpectedly [y] doesn't seem to report him to the silvermane guards, he just lets him walk in cuz' he doesn't care unless that con artist tries to scam his customers.

the two make arguments about who's wrong or right, who's the best, who's the most handsome one. silly arguments, but that's what brings them close. they had to keep it a secret though to avoid the media’s attention.

the two males became super and developed feelings throughout the weeks, then something unexpected happened. sampo brought flowers. actually real flowers. the flowers that he brought…with someone's money.

“...? What's this? Are these fake?” [y] raised his eyebrows at the flowers that sampo is holding. sampo frowned, “Come now. These are real flowers from the shop that I've bought.”

“...With someone's money?” [y] deadpanned, cross his arms. sampo let out an anxious chuckle, “I just bought the flowers for you. No tricks.”

“Hm.” the fashion designer hummed before accepting the flowers, “Thanks.”

“Thanks is all I get? Where's the reward from you, [Y]~?” the blue haired male teased.

[y] headed to the back without a word, much to sampo’s concern and confusion. it didn't take long for the fashion designer to return with a large bouquet of flowers and an envelope in hand, “It's crazy that we're both planning on giving gifts on the same day.”

sampo gasped sarcastically, clasping his hands over his mouth, though he was surprised that he was given a gift, “Aw~ You shouldn't have.”

“Don't take it personally.” [y] deadpanned. sampo chuckled, “You know you adore me~”

“It hasn't been confirmed yet. Don't push your luck, Shampoo.” [y] said bluntly.

“Hey~ That's the worst name you've given to me.” the blue haired male whined. the fashion designer smirked, “I should've made shampoo products named after you. Anyway, back on topic. Take it.”

sampo accepted the bouquet of roses from the fashion designer. [y] then handed sampo the envelope. the blue haired male raised his eyebrows, “What's this?”

“Look inside and see.” [y] said. without hesitation, the blue haired male opened the envelope and to his surprise, it's a load of cash. the fashion designer hummed, “Paycheck, gold digger. That's enough to bring you into the relationship?”

“Hey. Don't try to bribe me to get in a relationship.” sampo frowned. [y] raised his eyebrows, “So, you don't want the money.”

“Come now. I may be a con artist, but I'm a tenderhearted guy, too, ya know?” sampo stated.

“So, you're saying that you want our relationship to be official, but not for the money, but for my love and acceptance?” [y] blinked bewilderingly.

“...Yes…” sampo scratches the back of his head with a burning face. [y] blink once, then twice, before bursting out laughing, “Hahahahaha! Why are you so red?!”

“Hey! Don't make fun of me! I'm being serious!” sampo argued. [y] pat the male on his back, “I know, I know! It's just cute to see Sampo Koski blushing and being genuine!”

“Are you accepting my love for you or not?!” sampo furrowed his eyebrows. the fashion designer softened his laughter and wiped away his tears, “Yeah, yeah. But we still had to keep this a secret to avoid attention.”

“Only in the Overworld. We can hangout freely in the Underworld~” sampo smirked.

“Fair point. I'll be having my week off next week. How does that sound?” [y] asked the con artist. sampo winked, “I'll be off next week as well. So, it'll work.”

When We Lose Someone. 

Previous Fantape:

Riley walked downstairs, seeing a plethora of research about the cult surrounding Hameln. When Riley told Sophie about all of this, she told them about these underground shelters her family has to hide from the cult. Riley knew that Caroline and her family had been researching the cult surrounding Hameln for generations… but they never guessed that this research was so… elaborate.  

“Thanks for letting me crash here Sophie.” “No problem, I was wondering what was going on with you lately. Being all secretive. Then I heard on the news that Kate’s house and… there was a break in at the library and the dead body and… I was worried. Now it all makes sense.” Sophie sighs, “I can’t believe you’re researching the same thing my mom and Kate did. I’m so glad you let me be a part of it!” 

“Look I’m sorry, I know this is super dangerous… I mean everyone who worked on this died and your mom told you not to watch the tapes but-” “My mom didn’t tell me not to. She told me to protect them and lay low. Eventually the time would come that if I wanted to carry on the family tradition of trying to end this cult I could do it. But for the moment, she believed Peter was right and they should lay low. She warned me that it was dangerous and that it cost my life. But that… that little girl needed someone on her side. But it was still my choice. I think this is my sign that I should choose yes.” 

“Are you sure the tapes will be safe here?” 

“These underground shelters have been used to store knowledge and hide from the cult for centuries. They haven’t found us yet so… I’d say yes.” 

“Alright… I’m glad you have a VCR here… we need to find all those tapes before Hameln destroys them. I don’t know what will happen to Amanda and Wooly if they break… but I’m pretty sure it’s not good.” 

“You found all the ones in David’s secret office. I’ll look into my mom’s files and see if she had any more information as to where the others are.” 

“Then we’ll watch these two tapes together and I’ll get the rest-” 

“It might be more efficient for you to watch at least the first one while I find out where you need to go. You introduce me to Amanda and Wooly in the second one. Then while you get those tapes I’ll keep Amanda and Wooly company and write down anything I find out. Although, you did say they weren’t very trusting.”

“Yeah, but I’m sure if I explain everything they might be more willing to trust you and besides it’s you we’re talking about. Kids love you.” 

“Aww sheesh! Thanks Riley.” she blushes, “Btw, what about your job?” 

“I design and rig V-tuber models with an online persona made to elaborately hide my identity online. If they found me through that I might actually say congrats.” Riley boasts. 

“What if they ordered an Amanda model from you?” Sophie jokes.

“Ha! Once you get to know Amanda, you’ll know that Hameln would never have the balls to make her a V-tuber.” Riley laughs, “That'd be way too much power…” 

“So are you going to tell them what’s going on?” Sophie asks.

“I have to. She’s gonna know something’s up and she clearly hates it when you don’t tell her things so…” 

“Alright. I’ll start looking through Mom’s files… in the meantime.” Sophie leans in and kisses Riley on the cheek, “Good luck.” 

Riley takes the latest tape When We Lose Someone and places it in Sophie’s VCR. The tape begins to play. 

“Hi friends, I’m Amanda!” Amanda beams. 

“And I’m Wooly!” Wooly giggles. 

“And today we’re- wait… Riley… you’re in a different place this time…” 

“So? You can watch tapes anywhere right?” Wooly reasons. But Amanda looks suspicious. 

“I guess you’re right.” Amanda sighs, but she’s looking us right in the eye. Yep. She already knows something’s wrong. Riley thinks. “Sometimes… things happen and people… they die.” 

“I never liked this episode.” Wooly sighs. 

“When we lose someone… It can make us feel really sad. Have you ever lost someone really close to you?” Amanda asks. Before Riley can answer she says, “I know you have. It hurts a lot, doesn’t it?” Riley sighs and types in Yes. They didn’t really get to know Aunt Kate terribly well, but she was still someone important to them. “When does it stop hurting?” Amanda asks, the tape glitches red, “Does it stop hurting?” Riley types in I don’t know. “I guess even you don’t know everything do you?” she sighs. “I’ve been thinking about death a lot lately…” 

“Amanda… we don’t have to follow the script right? We could… talk about something fun instead?” 

“I wonder what it’s like to die?” Amanda wonders, ignoring Wooly. Wooly looks extremely uncomfortable. “Sometimes… it feels like I’m already dead… sometimes… I wish I really was. I don’t want to be trapped here anymore…” 

“I mean… you killed me that one time… it wasn’t very pleasant.” 

“Yeah that meat went bad way too fast.” 

“Excuse me?” Wooly seems incredibly disturbed. 

“And then you just came back to life like nothing happened. So I guess we’re practically immortal right?” 

“Hold on Amanda what-” Wooly questions, then he stops himself. “You know what? I don’t think I wanna know…” 

“The kitties didn’t seem to like it that much.” 

“I’m sorry you fed me to the neighborhood cats?!” 

“Yeah lamb is disgusting.” 

“I don’t know if I should be offended or relieved.” 

“The cats seemed to agree with me. I tried to offer it to Riley, but they didn’t want it either.” 

“Can we stop talking about what you did with my corpse-” Wooly asks, “I think I’m gonna throw up.” Amanda stops talking. “Okay quit looking at me like that.” more silence. “Okay please say something I cannot handle this awkward silence.” 

“You’re not mad at me?” 

“Why would I be? It was my fault right?” 

“I mean… yeah I was mad but like… I know I went too far.” 

“But I deserved it.” 

“Wooly- No… I missed Kate very much but- I had no right to take it out on you… not like that…” Amanda explains, Wooly tilts his head in confusion. “I miss her… so much…”

“I’m sorry…” Wooly replies sadly. 

“You didn’t kill her Wooly…” Amanda sighs, “And… Kate’s solution failed anyway. I was just… so frustrated… so confused and hurt… I took that out on you when I shouldn’t have.” 

“I’m not sure I understand.”

“What I am saying is I’m very very sorry for hurting you, killing you, and literally everything else.” 

“Apology accepted.” Wooly beams. 

“No. No no no. C’mon Wooly you gotta be a little mad about it right?” 

“Why would I be mad at my best friend?” Wooly’s words only made Amanda feel more guilty. And genuinely sad. 

“You’re allowed to be upset at the people you care about, you know that right?” Amanda asks. Wooly’s eyes go completely blank. 

“What are you talking about? No you’re not.” Wooly replies, as if it’s completely normal.

“Huh?” 

“Look, I don’t want to get in another fight,” Wooly sighs, “so let’s just forget about it, okay? It’s fine. You’re good. I’m not mad at you. I’ll take responsibility and we can be done with this, okay? It’s my fault. All of it. There.” 

“Wooly- Stop it.” 

“Stop… what?” 

“It’s not all your fault. Some of it’s my fault!” Amanda cries, “We didn’t kill her!” 

“Hameln did.” Riley says. Amanda’s eyes widen in shock. Riley is surprised, since they didn’t think Amanda could hear them. 

“They killed… everyone… didn’t they?” Wooly asks. Riley types in yes. “Figured as much. They seem to really like making people… disappear.” Amanda looks between Riley and Wooly with dismay. 

“The reason you keep moving… they’re after you aren’t they?” her voice trembles. Riley says nothing. The textbox remains empty. “They are…” 

“But don’t worry! I’m somewhere safe now. All the tapes are safe… at least… the ones I could salvage.” Riley frantically explains. 

“Riley… no… no no no…” 

“That reminds me… while I have you here-”

“No!” Amanda screams, “Stop it! Stop it right now!” Riley is taken aback. “Stop watching the tapes… stop collecting them… just get out of here… far far away… don’t let them catch you too!” 

“Amanda…” Riley mumbles. 

“I can’t lose you- no… I’d rather never see you again and know that you’re safe… than know that you died and it was all my fault.” Amanda sobs. Wooly looks away. 

“Amanda… I’m not going anywhere- okay well…” they considered telling her, but this didn’t seem the time. “I promise you, the place I took you to is safe. I have a fri- my girlfriend is here. She’s going to keep you safe. She’s the daughter of one of Kate’s friends, Caroline. She’s been keeping some of the tapes safe for you… all this time. She wants to help… I’m going to introduce you very soon.” 

“No! No no no no! You’re not going to watch anymore tapes! You or anyone else! You’re going to get out of here! Far far away! You’re going to escape… and you’ll do all the things I never could! You’ll be happy! Okay?!” Amanda begs desperately. 

“Amanda, Wooly, I promise you, everything is going to turn out fine. I’ll make sure of it-” “Don’t.” Amanda demands, “I don’t care what Kate wants… I want to protect you…” 

“Kate… wanted to protect me too. But if you protect me… who's protecting you?” 

“Kate… didn’t want this?” Amanda stutters. Whoops- She falls quiet. 

“Amanda she loved you very much-”

“I know that! I loved her too! I love her too!” Amanda cries, burying her hands in her face before taking a deep breath. “That’s why… you’re not watching any more tapes.” 

“Amanda wait-” 

“Goodbye Riley.” Amanda says, “Thanks for being my friend.” 

Just then the tape ends. Riley tries to put it back in the machine, but it won’t play. Over and over. It just keeps getting ejected. 

“No… no no no no no no…” 

“Riley?” Sophie comes back downstairs,  Riley looks up at her, tears running down their face. “It didn’t work out?” she asks sadly. 

“Did you… get the list?” 

“Yeah… Peter’s family says that he left some in his old office. You can pick them up no issue. There’s some others supposedly- no no first, what happened?” 

“Amanda… doesn’t want us to get hurt… so she won’t let me finish the tape…” 

“I see… maybe I can talk to her…” 

“Give me the list… I’ll go and get the tapes…” Riley instructs standing up. Their tone is completely serious and… a little unstable. 

“Are you sure about this?” 

“A little late for that, isn’t it?” 

“I suppose. Alright. Here’s the list. Promise you’ll come home safe, okay Riley?” she asks.

“I promise.” Riley answers, but she still looks hesitant. 

“Okay, here it is. And with it, a protection spell for good luck.” She lifts the hair off of Riley’s forehead and gives them a kiss. They give each other one more kiss goodbye, and Riley disappears up the stairs. Sophie looks at the final two tapes. She notices something odd. Before, the final tape said Found You! Now it says… Goodbye. “Can Amanda… change the episode titles?” Sophie wonders. “Interesting… but… just a theory for now. Better write it down for Riley… when they get back.” Sophie takes out her notebook and turns to a new page, she titles it: Amanda the Adventurer Theories and writes this speculation down.

Authors Note: I guess you guys are getting this a little bit early. Soo... what do you think? Sophie's fun right? We got some new lore incoming... you really thought I'd reveal all my Amanda and Wooly lore now? You thought it was over? Some people wanted to see Amanda and Wooly properly talk about this, here you go. Originally this tape was going to be about Amanda and Riley finally moving on from Kate's death... but honestly it seems like Kate's death is both of their main motivations right now. Maybe eventually they can both be at peace with it. And Wooly can stop blaming himself to keep the peace : |

Cancelled SOAUSDSFP Chapter 5 Attempts

FIRST OFF, GO READ THE NEW SOAUSDSFP CHAPTER 1!!!!

Now then, Let's get into detail about this year-long production hell.

The original run of SOAUSDSFP only had 4 chapters, with the 4th releasing on July 1st, 2024. Immediately, an attempt to create chapter 5 was made;

Erika and Aimaiko

The cover art was done by Mari.

This chapter was supposed to be INCREDIBLY ambitious. I have a script for it which I'm gonna pull an excerpt from right here:

"Price: NO WAY! I’LL GET OUT OF HERE ALIVE AND I’LL KILL YOU!!! Aimaiko appears. In her hand, she has a toaster that’s powered by one of the power sources that extend on the rooftop. Price: YOU… BASTARD!! Aimaiko: Blehh! Aimaiko drops the toaster Aimako: Ooh, Whoopsie!! :P The toaster drops all the way down into the water which Price was floating on, and it instantly electrocutes and kills him. Price: AUGGGGHHHHHGGGGHHHHGGGHHHH"

See? Ambitious.

The basic gist is that Jozai gives Aimaiko and Erika a quest to do really early in the morning, because they have a big task to do; To eliminate one of Jozai's competitors after he catches wind that they're planning to kill him. They devise a plan that's really weird, because they somehow have a spaceship + An entire CLONE of Aimaiko just sitting around.

I remember writing this on call with Mari a long long long time ago, but it's clear that it would've been too much to make. Considering the page amount of the older SOAUSDSFP chapters (which were filled with so much unnecessary padding and dialogue) this would've been like, 200 pages. It's clear to see why this one got canned, not like the other ones.

This is the promo art I originally made for this chapter, it was on the website for like an INSANE amount of time (albeit not listed, you'd have to go to the search bar to find it.)

These were concept arts. In the 1st image, The top right character labelled "SLU" (Sentient Laptop Uncle) is the name of who is known in the script for this chapter as "Mr. Price". He actually originates from a project that I had in 8th grade for a short story called The Brave Little Toaster, but NOT the Disney one. It was just coincidentially called that, and had some villain named "Loony Goony." We were supposed to make a comic out of the story, and that was the design I gave him. (If I can find the original drawing I did of him, I'll edit it onto here.) I remembered he existed, and decided to repurpose him for this chapter.

The Goons are just the people that patrol his building in Texxaido (A portmanteau of Texas and Hokkaido.)

Meredith is the name that Erika always uses for her disguises, and for this chapter, this is what she would look like.

If you look very closely, you'll see that there's a sketch behhind this drawing. I never knew that I used to do sketches for my pre-2025 comics! It makes me feel a little ashamed, because this lineart really sucks.

This chapter is also something that I had tried to plan out earlier. Originally, it was just a little sloppy comic/storyboard thing in one of my sketchbooks. It's probably very hard to read. but here it is:

Around the time of the production for this comic, the animation was starting to be planned (it's still being worked on; For the pilot episode, we finished the storyboard, got most of the voicelines, doing layout drawings, and even have finished some scenes!). The basic plot synopsis is that Jozai (on behalf of Imusa [formerly Oppai-chan but I want to change her trait from being "r/animemes" to just a funny looking mean person in general, kinda like Iyami from Osomatsu-kun]) wants to steal a secret recipe of a famous sandwich shop in the heart of New Yorsaka; All for Imusa to have to herself.

Jozai uses Aimaiko and Meer Moor to carry out this task and in attempting to go to the back of the shop to steal the recipe, they get caught by the owner (I'll get more into detail about her in a bit!), but it turns out that she's too overwhelmed from all the business she gets so she just takes them in as employees. Aimaiko and Meer Moor have to get up to whatever trouble ensues as they run the restaurant.

The owner character in this chapter is a cat lady named 'Kaoru Kitematsu', here's her model and character bio. She was designed by Mari.

(I don't really recall Lulu working at the shop to be planned in the chapter, but if this character bio says so, it must be true.)

She's actually a redesign of a older character, from a set of background characters that Mari had made in 2023 when the comic hadn't been made and the series was supposed to be a (now obviously cancelled) animation called 'Slice of Life Quest'.

You can probably tell, but that's her all the way on the right.

I still like the one that I did, but Mari's one is still really great too (I like all three of the designs here!)

Moving on from the cat woman, this chapter was also supposed to introduce Lulu into the comic (something that I still need to do).

Lulu's been around for a while, her lore has been really developed by her creator (hi mo :money_mouth:) to a point where there's a lot of things that I can work with, and Lulu has of course been present in many SOAUSDSFP cast drawing artworks. And yet, In SOAUSDSFP's main work, - the comic - Lulu has still not appeared. I plan to fix that soon with SOAUSDSFP's new serialization!

Unlike the 1st cancelled chapter 5, this chapter wasn't really ambitious. I gave up on it for these factors:

My art style was changing. I was experimenting drawing Aimaiko more cartoony looking (which led to the whole pipeline that is my current art style). These are some examples from October-November.

I hope you can see where I'm coming from with this reason.

I had no clue what to write for the story. This is typical of me, I hadn't really any idea of what to do after the basic exposition of this chapter. What would Aimaiko be facing at the restaurant? How would they steal the recipe? Would they fail or succeed? I had no clue for any of this, and this is probably due to the next reason;

It got boring to draw this story. Around this time, something clicked in be that just made me COMPLETELY unable to make the long stories that I used to (this is probably for better in my opinion) and it just made me lose motivation to work on it.

I'd love to revisit it, but I'm most certainly going to condense it down to around 8-11 pages if I do.

Since I personified Sportacus Airship I definitely had to personify Robbie Rotten's Periscope.

More details about the design:

Details: the box saids Rottenfood which is a reference to a episode where Robbie buys 5 million dollars worth of the green sludge. It also saids Dr. Rottenstein which is also a reference to an episode. Both involve Robbie trying to play an important figure that involves a lot of vision to execute.

He's wearing yellow/gold gauges/choker/eyebrow piercing/bracelets this is a reference to the light that's inside of the periscope as well as in the game (where the main focus is the periscope ) it has a lot of yellow.

Speaking of the game the question marks on the end of his sleeves as well as on the end of the shirt is a reference to the game which has a lot of question marks.

His hair is magenta on the middle part and grey blue on the sides to show reference to the cartoon color and the show color of him. the braid is to reference the wire that comes from the back of the periscope. The bangs, eyebrows and eye-makeup is in the shape of the periscopes eyelids. The eye-makeup is a direct reference to the heavy shadow on the periscope.

The gauges also are to pay reference to the periscopes wide "face". The three eye pattern is a reference to the fact that that's what the periscope is meant to do, is to see.

The shirt colors are also to pay reference to the cartoon and show colors of him however the main body of the shirt is a reference to his eyes.

His pants is also a direct reference to the colors of him in the show.

The shoe having a bit of a pump heal to it is meant to be reference to how he gets slightly bigger at the end.

The gears tattoo he has is a reference to Robbie Rotten as well as Robbie Rotten's home where the periscope oftentimes lives.

I cuffed his pants leg that had the prosthetic to show reference to his bulky tube type thing that opens him up and it being bulky, the prosthetic itself is called a blade prosthetic and is used by runners as well as running in general, decided to use this specific one due to the fact that when the periscope moves it hops and it hops high.

Also by using a prosthetic it's a direct reference to the fact that the periscope has, by technically one leg, the reason I didn't fully take away that leg was because I really wanted to use that type of prosthetic.

Also on it there are symbols. A jagged mustache that's red which is a reference to Roboticus (specifically the 2012 stage play where he has that red mustache), a fancy Wind-up key that's a light dull pink to show Rottenella, a cracked golden key to show Wind-up Robbie (he was considered to be wrong by Robbie's standards), a bone to represent Robo-Dog, a cat to represent the cat that keeps getting lost/trapped on a tree. The cat is oftentimes being seen by Robbie using Robbie's periscope, also the letters

With the word Obby right beside it. This is of course a reference to Bobby, Tobby and Flobby.

Also the box is to represent the box Robbie sometimes stands on to see into the periscope.

Also for the prosthetic I wanted to use things that were muted in color but could also be seen as metal. This is a reference to LazyTown's style where something is supposed to be metal but looks muted. Also by keeping all his colors not so bright it allows his eyes to be bright and of main focus which, as everyone knows is what the periscope is most known for.

Also for his body I kept him skinny and long as a reference to how the periscope is long but also as a reference to Robbie Rotten and how he is skinny.

Wanted him to also look pissed because even when the periscope was happy it still looked pissed so I wanted to keep the same energy.

Also wanted to use mostly blue's because most people know that color as the periscope's color. However I still wanted to pay reference to the cartoon version.

And one thing, the font color for Rottenfood is the same color as the food and the font is that of what you would find sludge food to be colored like and Dr. Rottenstein is in a professional font to show professional status and is in Robbie Rotten's colors.

As you can tell, I did put a lot of thought into the design.
