Genügend Leistung, scharfes Display und günstiger Preis. Eigentlich brachte das iPad aus 2017 doch schon alles mit, was man als Tablet-Einsteiger braucht. Und doch unter- und überbietet Apple sich 2018 mit dem Nachfolger, dem iPad 9.7 (2018). Unterbietet, weil das die Neuauflage schon ab 349 Euro und damit 50 Euro günstiger als im Vorjahr zu bekommen ist. Überbietet, weil das Tablet nicht einfach nur noch mehr Leistung bietet.Bei dem günstigen Preis ist von vornherein klar: Ein neues Design im Stile des iPhone X mit der ikonischen "Notch" und der Gesichtserkennung Face ID ist hier nicht drin. Muss es aber auch gar nicht sein. Das neue iPad kommt im gleichen Aluminum-Gehäuse wie sein Vorgänger. Heißt: Maße und Gewicht (469 Gramm) sind identisch mit dem 2017er-Modell. Es heißt auch: Es ist dünn und leicht, passt so in fast jede Tasche. Die Verarbeitung ist gewohnt hochwertig.
Durch das unveränderte Design hat das iPad einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert: Das Display misst 9,7, darunter befindet sich Touch ID, also der Fingerabdrucksensor. Die Rückseite wird vom Apple-Logo und bei der LTE-Version von der Mobilfunk-Antenne geziert. Darunter steht auf dem Gehäuse noch die einfachste und fürs Tablet passendste Beschreibung: iPad. Der separat erhältliche Apple Pencil (99 Euro) ist da ein wichtiges Werkzeug.Deswegen hat Apple seine iWork-Apps, also die Textverarbeitung Pages, die Tabellenkalkulation Numbers und den Präsentationsbaukasten Keynote für die Verwendung mit dem Apple Pencil angepasst. In Pages könnt ihr jetzt zum Beispiel Textpassagen markieren und mit Kommentaren versehen. Natürlich funktionieren auch alle anderen Apps, die auf den Stylus ausgelegt sind, darunter Pixelmator, Linea Sketch oder Notability.
Wie auf dem iPad Pro klappt das Schreiben und Zeichnen mit dem Stift auf dem Display ohne wirkliche Verzögerung. Weil sich meine Zeichenkünste allerdings in Grenzen halten, habe ich jemanden gebeten, ein Bild zu malen, der sich damit wirklich auskennt: Lovis ist sieben Jahre alt und geht in die zweite Klasse. Malen ist quasi ihr Job. Ihr erstes Fazit bei der Benutzung des Apple Pencil: anders. Danach ging das Malen aber doch ganz leicht.Die Kreativität seiner Nutzer fördert Apple darüber hinaus mit Anwendungen wie iMovie oder Clips. Beides sind Apps, mit denen sich Videos auf dem Tablet bearbeiten lassen. Für Musiker hat das Unternehmen eine verbesserte Version von GarageBand im Angebot. Die App bietet nun zum Beispiel ein optionales Tonpaket, unter anderem mit Tierlauten, zum Download an. Wer sich kreativ austoben will, ist hier also an der richtigen Adresse.
Abseits davon kann man natürlich auch auf dem neuen iPad ohne Probleme Medien konsumieren oder Spiele spielen. Das Display bietet mit 2048 x 1536 Pixel eine ausreichend hohe Auflösung und überzeugt darüber hinaus mit satten Farben, starken Kontrasten und einer guten Ausleuchtung. So machen Netflix-Serien oder ein paar Runden des angesagten Multiplayer-Hits "Fortnite" schön viel Spaß. Aber nur, wenn der Lehrer gerade nicht schaut.Auch fotografieren könnt ihr mit dem iPad, wenn ihr es wirklich darauf anlegt. Auf der Rückseite verbaut Apple eine Kamera mit 8 Megapixeln, die für einen schnellen Schnappschuss ausreicht. Die 1,2-Megapixel-Kamera taugt dagegen weniger fürs hochauflösende Selfies, sondern eher für Videotelefonie. Für detailreiche Selbstporträts greift ihr besser zum iPhone.

Consultative engagements with business units regarding the ArcSight Platform including the analysis of network, application, and system log events in order to provide advice and guidance to them. ? Perform other essential duties as assigned Essential skills ? 5 years' experience using ArcSight or other leading SIEM tools and the terminology associated with them ? Demonstrable experience of analyzing and interpreting system, security and application logs in order to diagnose faults and spot abnormal behaviors ? An active interest in software systems / engineering and / or secure communications and Information systems and / or system security architecture and / or malware. ? Practical experiences with security devices; configuration and troubleshooting (e.g. Firewall, IDS, etc.) ? Practical experiences using UNIX, Linux, and Windows, system administration, scripting (i.e. Perl / shell / python) ? Experience in network and systems monitoring of large networks. ? Experience working with managers and customers, receiving requirements and converting them into actions ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Familiarity with organizing and managing teams ? Experience of designing and creating services or products ? Attention to detail and great organizational skills Desirable skills ?
