Kashtira and Tearlaments in the same format is fucking hell. Pack Nibiru and you never draw it against Kash, only ever in your hand against Spright (who are now making Gigantic first once again instead of Sprind specifically to play around Nib) and Tear (which summons Rulkallos in the first three summons and goes plus off of you board wiping anyways). And when you get frustrated and swap Nibiru out for more versatile handtraps you run into Kashtira three games in a row

@bones-boneyard it’s been awhile, but here’s what happens next.
As Albaz is about to confront Aluber, the Tri-Brigade shows up, ready to aid him in battle.

Unfortunately, Longyuan is also back, now having fused with the Supreme Sovereign Serpent of Golgonda, now the two of them are the Abyss Dragon Swordsoul. Turns out the Serpent was an exiled member of the Swordsoul tribe that Longyuan had kept in touch with.

Luckily, Aegirine, now wielding the full power of the Cenote Enion Cradle appears, now Gymir Aegirine.

She’s not alone either, as she put Mo Ye’s soul into a new Icejade Creation, Aegirocassis.

With that, the two of them begin doing combat with the Abyss Dragon Swordsoul to take revenge against Longyuan.

The fight ends with Aegirine freezing the Abyss Dragon Swordsoul in ice for one million centuries.
The rest of the battle rages on, and by now the cavalry has arrived in the form of Kitt and the Springans.

Sargas and Regulus, through the power of gay love and Spright energy, combine themselves and parts of the Exblowrer to become Gigantic “Champion” Sargas.

Kitt herself has developed a new weapon for Shuraig as well, the Bucephalus II, a powerful cannon powered by Spright energy.
She’s also built an upgraded version of the original Sprind, Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon, which she uses to take herself and Albaz towards the top of the Theater.
Meanwhile, Sargas and Shuraig open fire on the Bystial Alba Los.

Their attacks connect, completely annihilating Alba Los’s draconic heads, and forcing Aluber to abandon ship, pulling a tactical retreat.
Aluber is intercepted by Kitt and Albaz, who prepare to land the final blow on Aluber and put an end to him once and for all, but before the attack can connect, Cartesia uses Granguignol’s wings to fly in front of it…

I did however manage to get pretty lucky with a few DABL packs and pulled both Lubellion and Sprind at the same time. The Sprind might unfortunately become trade bait since I probably won’t be playing anything Spright-related anytime soon, but Lubellion’s definitely going in my Branded Despia deck.

Spright Sprind
“2 monsters, including a Level/Rank/Link 2 monster Cannot be used as Link Material the turn it is Link Summoned. You can only use 1 of the following effects of ‘Spright Sprind’ per turn, and only once that turn. If this card is Link Summoned: You can send 1 Level 2 monster from your Deck to the GY. If another monster is Special Summoned while this card is on the field (except during the Damage Step): You can detach 1 material from an Xyz Monster you control, then target 1 monster on the field; return it to the hand.”

@bones-boneyard Anyway, let’s check on how Kitt and Sargas are doing.
Oh, it looks like Sargas and Regulus are busy beating the ever-loving shit out of each other.

Sargas comes close to losing, but is eventually able to turn the tables on Regulus thanks to encouragement from Kitt and is able to defeat him. This nets them Argyro’s attention, which is what the Springans want.
Unfortunately, it’s not the kind of attention they were hoping for, and Argyro sics the Discolosseum’s administrators on them, which it does by splitting into the administrators, the Sprights. Like the Therions, the Sprights have a Zodiac motif to them, well, most of them anyway. It’s less obvious than the Therions, but they have Zodiac symbols on them.

Spright Blue is Libra (Symbol is on the shoes),
Spright Red is Virgo (also on the shoes),

Spright Jet is Sagittarius (symbol is on the back of its coat),

Spright Carrot is Gemini (symbol is the zippers on its sleeves),

and Spright Pixies is Aquarius (symbol is on the ship thing and weapons).
We also have two not related to the Zodiac, Gigantic Spright and Spright Elf.
The Sprights then proceeded to start wreaking havoc.
It only gets worse when Spright Red and Spright Blue take over and supercharge Regulus, turning him into Therion Irregular.
A seal on the Discolosseum is broken as well, allowing “Empress” Alasia inside, who had long since lost her sense of self from the sheer amount of parts she’s assimilated.
While not traditionally part of the Zodiac, she’s supposed to represent Ophiuchus.

Needless to say, things quickly devolve into madness as an all-out brawl between the Springans, Sprights, and Therions begins to unfold.
Luckily, Kitt comes in clutch, taking apart her armor and quickly turning the Spright’s strength of being able to possess machinery into their biggest weakness, the Spright Sprind. With it, she uses it to pull Spright Blue and Spright Red out of Irregular and trapping them, returning Regulus to normal.
With all that said and done, Sargas and Regulus have a moment where game recognizes game, and the two team up to beat the ever-loving shit out of Gigantic Spright for their first date, couple goals (them being a couple is a headcanon, shut up). As an aside I love the name of the card this art is from, Spright Double Cross, since it’s a bit of a double-meaning, the Therions are turning their back on the Sprights and Sargas and Regulus are taking down Gigantic Spright with a double lariat. God I love Yu-Gi-Oh!
With all that chaos done, Kitt, the Springans, and Regulus begin to get things ready to help take down Despia…
(As an aside, you might’ve noticed that the only two Zodiac signs unaccounted for are Capricorn and Scorpio, and while we never see Capricorn at all (save for maybe later, maybe), Sargas is supposed to be Scorpio, which is a lot more obvious when you look at his reference art.)

(Also his necklace is made of Icejade crystals so that’s neat.)
(Also writing a little something for Sargas and Regulus so keep your eyes peeled for that.)
