How I Cured My Alopecia Areata Naturally – A Personal Story of Healing and Hope
I never believed I would be writing something like this.
Tumblr media
A couple of months ago, I was standing in front of the mirror and I could see another patch of baldness developing. It was little, round and abysmal. Having your hair fall off unexpectedly is like losing a part of who you are. I knew something had to be done.
This is my own account of how I healed myself of alopecia areata. I did not depend on aggressive drugs or miracle cures in the form of shampoos. Rather, I used natural treatments and Ayurvedic therapies. In the process, I also discovered How to stop the spread of alopecia areata and how to shield my hair and scalp in an overall sense.
When It All Began
It started with a small bald patch at the back of my head. I assumed it was temporary hair fall from stress or weather changes. But within weeks, more patches appeared. Eventually, I was diagnosed with alopecia areata.
The doctor explained it was an autoimmune condition where the body attacks its own hair follicles. There was no guaranteed cure, only medications to manage symptoms. The thought of using steroids and chemical-based treatments made me uncomfortable.
So I decided to try a different route. I turned to nature.
How I Cured My Alopecia Areata with Natural Remedies
After deep research and consultations with Ayurvedic experts, I created a simple and consistent routine. It took time and patience, but the results were real.
Here is what worked for me.
Step 1: Ayurvedic Hair Oil Massage
The first and most important step in my routine was scalp oiling. I used a mix of traditional Ayurvedic oils known for their healing properties:
Bhringraj to activate hair follicles
Amla to strengthen hair from the roots
Neem for its anti-inflammatory effects
Cold-pressed coconut oil as a base
I applied the oil to my scalp three times a week and massaged it gently to enhance blood flow. This decreased itchiness, moisturized the scalp and most significantly, helped to soothe the immune attack that was targeting my hair.
Step 2: Weekly Herbal Hair Packs
To support my scalp and promote hair regrowth, I used a herbal mask once a week. It included:
Fenugreek powder
Aloe vera gel
Hibiscus powder
"I applied a smooth paste made from gently blended hibiscus powder to my scalp and left it there for about half an hour. I could feel the coolness nourishing my roots and immediately relieving the irritation. In my quest to heal my alopecia areata naturally, it turned out to be one of the most significant and consoling phases.
Step 3: Enhancing Nutrition and Diet
Internal health is reflected in one's hair. I changed my diet drastically. I stayed away from processed foods, sugar, and fatty meals and concentrated on:
Fresh produce and fruits
Protein-rich foods like lentils, eggs, and paneer
Omega-3 sources include flax seeds and walnuts.
A lot of water
I started taking organic vitamins like ashwagandha, zinc, and biotin in along with my food to promote hair growth and lower stress levels. The spread of alopecia areata was halted by this internal nutrition.
Step 4: Scalp Care and Hygiene
I kept my scalp clean using a herbal shampoo free from sulfates and parabens. I also did a natural scalp scrub every 10 days using coffee powder, aloe vera and tea tree oil.
This helped remove product buildup and keep the follicles clear. Clean follicles meant less chance of further damage and more opportunity for hair regrowth.
Step 5: Psychological Wellness and Reduced Stress
Stress was a major factor in my hair loss. At first, I was unconscious that my alopecia worsened with increased stress.
To manage this, I started:
Doing yoga and breathing exercises daily
Going to bed on time and sleeping for 7 to 8 hours
Reducing screen time
Practicing gratitude journaling
Soothing the mind was very important in mending my body. This was among the greatest advances in how I healed my alopecia areata.
How to Prevent Alopecia Areata from Spreading
If you are at an early stage of alopecia areata, halting its advance is as crucial as encouraging growth. Here are a few things that helped me prevent the condition from worsening:
Start treatment as soon as you notice the first patch
Avoid hot styling tools and hair dyes
Massage the scalp regularly with herbal oils
Reduce stress and get enough rest
Consume a healthy diet and take supplements that boost your immune system.
I was able to promote the growth of natural hair and prevent the further spread of alopecia areata by adhering to these procedures.
Tumblr media
My Results After Three Months
By the end of the third month, I noticed visible changes:
Hair fall reduced significantly
Small new hair strands started growing in bald patches
My scalp felt healthier and inflammation was gone
Confidence returned as I started feeling more like myself again
Healing did not occur overnight, but it did occur. Through perseverance and caution, I gradually felt like I was in control again.
Why I Recommend Hairpro16 for Natural Hair Recovery
One of the places I visited was Hairpro16, which is a Chennai natural hair care center specializing in Ayurvedic treatments for hair loss and alopecia or other scalp conditions.
What impressed me most was their adherence to natural healing and individualized care. They assisted me in:
Choose the right oils and treatments
Understand my hair and scalp condition
Stay consistent with my routine
Track my progress in a realistic way
If you are looking for a chemical-free approach to hair regrowth, Hairpro16 is a great place to begin.
Final Words: You Are Not Alone
If you are having trouble with hair loss, bald spots or the psychological stress of alopecia, let me tell you this—you are not alone.
I once searched in desperation for answers, wondering if I would ever recover my hair. Today I am sharing this tale so you don't have to endure the same fear and uncertainty.
This is how I cured my alopecia areata. Not with magic pills, but with nature, routine and a lot of patience. You can heal too.
Do not give up. Your hair and your confidence can return.

Why Auckland Roofs Are a Magnet for Moss and Mould (and What to Do About It)
If you live in Auckland and glance up at your roof, chances are you’ll spot green moss, black streaks, or fuzzy lichen patches. You're not alone. Across suburbs like Titirangi, Albany, Mt. Roskill and Howick, house owners face the same stubborn problem.
But why are Auckland roofs so prone to moss and mould, and what can you do to stop it from spreading?
Let’s break it down.
The 3 Big Reasons Moss Loves Auckland Roofs
1. Humid Climate + Regular Rain = Moss Heaven Auckland’s mild temperatures and constant moisture provide perfect conditions for moss and mould to thrive. It’s not just about the rain—it’s the damp that sticks around. Moss and mould love wet surfaces, and our roofs are often shaded and slow to dry.
2. Shady Roofs, Overhanging Trees Many Auckland houses are surrounded by native bush, big trees, or close neighbours—creating constant shade. Less sunlight means slower drying and more moss retention. Those trees also drop organic matter, feeding moss growth.
3. Porous Roofing Materials Concrete tiles, decramastic roofs, and older metal sheets trap moisture in tiny pores and cracks. Once moss spores land there, they dig in and spread fast—especially if your roof hasn’t been treated in a few years.
The Problem With Moss? It’s Not Just Ugly
Moss and mould on your roof may seem cosmetic, but they’re slowly damaging your house. Here’s how:
Trapped moisture causes rot in timber framing and underlay
Lifted tiles or shingles lead to leaks
Weight from moss buildup adds strain to old roofs
Black mould streaks lower your house’s street appeal (and value)
What Auckland House Owners Can Do
✅ Book a Professional Roof Treatment At NZTS, we use eco-safe, soft-wash solutions that kill moss, mould, and lichen at the root—without damaging your roof.
✅ Avoid High-Pressure Blasting It may look effective, but blasting often loosens tiles, strips coatings, and shortens roof lifespan. Soft wash is safer and longer lasting.
✅ Treat Every 1–2 Years Regular maintenance keeps moss at bay and prevents regrowth before it becomes visible again.
Why Choose NZTS?
✅ Experienced with Auckland’s unique climate
✅ Safe, biodegradable moss-kill solutions
✅ No pressure washing damage
✅ Reliable service across Central, North, East, and South Auckland

Stop Roof Moss Fast with VGRC: Spokane’s Expert Prevention Guide
Tumblr media
How Moss Destroys Roofs & Why Prevention Is Critical
Moss might seem harmless—some homeowners even think it adds character to a roof—but let’s clear the air: moss is a destructive invader. It thrives in damp, shaded areas and once it takes root, it works fast. Moss traps moisture, lifts shingles, and rots wood underneath, cutting your roof’s life in half before you even realize it.
Spokane County’s wet climate, tall trees, and long winters make local roofs a prime target. But here’s the good news: moss growth is preventable—and VGRC, LLC knows exactly how to stop it before it costs you thousands in damage.
👷‍♀️ KC, THE PINE NEEDLE WARRIOR and 🥷 THE ROOF NINJA! ACTIVATED are standing by to protect your home—because routine maintenance is your roof’s best defense.
Why Roof Moss Is So Dangerous For Spokane County Homes
In Spokane County, moss isn’t just a seasonal nuisance—it’s a recurring enemy. Moss grows aggressively, especially on north-facing or shaded rooftops. Here’s why it’s so damaging:
Moss Holds Moisture Against Shingles – Constant wetness accelerates rot.
It Grows Under Shingles – Moss pries up shingles, exposing your roof’s underlayment.
It Leads to Leaks and Mold – Hidden moisture can rot wood framing and attract mold.
Moss Attracts Pests – It invites bugs, rodents, and even weeds.
It Cuts Roof Lifespan in Half – A roof expected to last 30 years could fail in 15.
💡 PRO TIP: Even a tiny patch of moss means it’s already spreading. Don’t wait—tackle it fast with a pro inspection.
Why Spokane County Roofs Are At Higher Risk
Local homes have all the conditions moss loves:
🌲 Dense Tree Coverage – Creates shade and retains roof moisture.
🌧️ Rainy Seasons – Consistent precipitation keeps roofs wet.
❄️ Snow Buildup – Melts slowly, keeping shingles saturated.
🍂 Organic GUNK from Trees – Leaves, needles, and pollen feed moss growth.
💡 PRO TIP: If your roof faces north or is heavily shaded, it needs routine roof blow-offs and moss treatment at least twice a year.
VGRC’s 5 Core Services to Keep Homes Clean & Protected

We don't just scrape moss—we eliminate it safely without harming shingles. Plus, we apply professional-grade moss treatment to prevent regrowth.

🌧️ 3. Gutter Cleaning

🫧 4. Soft Washing (House Washing)
Say goodbye to GUNKSTER! We remove mildew, algae, and buildup from siding with gentle, safe soft washing that makes your exterior look new.
🟩 5. Vinyl Fence Washing

Our Proven System for Moss Prevention in Spokane County
VGRC’s moss removal isn’t just reactive—it’s proactive. We have a full prevention system in place that includes:
✅ Gentle, Non-Damaging Moss Removal
✅ Roof Blow-Offs to Remove Organic GUNK
✅ Professional Moss Inhibitor Application
✅ Shingle Health Checkups
✅ Routine Maintenance Scheduling
💡 PRO TIP: Moss removal alone isn’t enough—preventative treatments are KEY to long-term roof health.
Prevent Moss Regrowth with These Year-Round Tips
Spokane County homeowners can reduce the risk of moss between cleanings by doing the following:
🌞 Trim Trees Overhanging Roofs – Sunlight helps dry your shingles.
🌧️ Clear Gutters Seasonally – Prevent water from pooling on your roofline.
🍂 Remove Roof GUNK Regularly – Don't let leaves and needles collect.
🫧 Schedule Routine Roof Blow-Offs – Pine-Nado can’t strike if the roof is clean!
💡 PRO TIP: Most moss infestations happen silently over time—don’t wait for visible GUNK to appear. Be proactive.
Why DIY Moss Removal Is Risky Business
We know homeowners mean well—but DIY moss removal usually leads to bigger problems:
🚫 Pressure Washers Strip Granules – Shorten roof lifespan.
🚫 Brushing & Scraping Cause Shingle Tears – Makes leaks more likely.
🚫 Household Cleaners Damage Materials – Some chemicals corrode or bleach your roof.
🚫 No Moss Prevention Applied – Without moss inhibitors, the moss returns fast.
💡 PRO TIP: DIY often voids roof warranties. VGRC uses industry-standard solutions and gentle techniques that protect your investment.

Stump Grinding on the Gold Coast: The Key to a Safer, Cleaner Yard
If you’ve recently had a tree removed from your property, you may be left with an unsightly and potentially hazardous stump. Stump grinding is an efficient, effective way to remove tree stumps and enhance the safety and appearance of your stump grinding gold coast property. In this blog, we’ll discuss what stump grinding is, why it’s essential, and how hiring a professional can make the process easier and more beneficial.
What is Stump Grinding?
Stump grinding is a method of removing tree stumps by using a specialized machine called a stump grinder. This powerful tool grinds the stump down into small wood chips, often removing the stump several inches below ground level. Unlike traditional stump removal, which involves digging up the entire stump and root system, stump grinding is a quicker, less invasive solution that leaves your yard looking neat and clean.
Why Stump Grinding is Important
Safety Concerns One of the main reasons to grind a tree stump is safety. Stumps left in your yard can pose tripping hazards, especially if they’re hidden by grass or plants. This is particularly dangerous for families with children, pets, or elderly individuals. By grinding the stump down to ground level, you eliminate this risk and make your yard safer for everyone.
Preventing Pest Infestations A decaying stump is a breeding ground for pests like termites, ants, and beetles. These pests are attracted to rotting wood and can quickly spread to nearby trees, plants, or even your home. Stump grinding removes the decaying wood, which helps prevent pest infestations that could damage your garden or even the structure of your home.
Improved Aesthetics An old tree stump can be a major eyesore in your yard, no matter how well-maintained the rest of your landscape is. Stump grinding removes this unattractive feature, leaving you with a clean, flat surface. This opens up new possibilities for landscaping, allowing you to plant new trees, install a garden bed, or even lay down new grass.
More Usable Space A tree stump takes up valuable space in your yard that could be used for other purposes. Whether you want to add a garden, build a deck, or install a patio, a stump can limit your options. Stump grinding clears the area, giving you the flexibility to redesign your outdoor space and make better use of your property.
Preventing Future Growth If left untreated, tree stumps can sprout new shoots or suckers, leading to unwanted growth. This can create further maintenance issues down the road. Stump grinding eliminates the stump at its base, preventing future regrowth and saving you from ongoing work.
Why Hire a Professional for Stump Grinding?
While you may consider attempting to grind a stump yourself, it’s usually best to leave the job to the professionals. Here’s why:
Specialized Equipment: Professional stump grinders are powerful and efficient, capable of grinding stumps of all sizes. Attempting to rent or use a less effective tool could lead to frustration and incomplete results.
Expert Knowledge: Professionals have the expertise to assess your yard and determine the best approach for stump grinding. They also know how to handle the machinery safely, reducing the risk of injury or damage.
Time-Saving: Stump grinding is a labor-intensive process, especially if you’re doing it without the right equipment. Professionals can complete the job quickly and efficiently, saving you time and effort.
Cleanup: After grinding the stump, professionals will remove the wood chips and debris, leaving your yard tidy and ready for the next step in your landscaping projects.
Conclusion
Stump grinding on the Gold Coast is an effective way to remove unsightly and hazardous tree stumps, improving the safety, appearance, and functionality of your property. Whether you're looking to prevent pests, enhance your landscape, or free up space for new projects, stump grinding offers many benefits.
Hiring a professional ensures the job is done correctly, safely, and efficiently. If you have a stump on your property, don’t hesitate to contact a local expert to get rid of it and make your yard a safer, more beautiful place to enjoy.

Expert Stump Removal Services in Jackson, TN: Clear Your Yard with Jackson Tree Service
Once you have had a tree on your compound cut down, you are left with a stump which is an eye sore and can cause several problems. That is where stump removal comes in handy, a vital service that helps in keeping your outdoor area looking great, safe and usable. That is why at Jackson Tree Service we offer professional stump removal services to help you get your yard back to the way it was.
Why Is Stump Removal Important?
Tumblr media
Most people who own homes do not know how beneficial it is to have a tree stump removal service after a tree has been chopped down. However, leaving a stump behind can lead to several issues over time, including:
1. Aesthetics and Property Value
An example of a tree stump is a leftover stump that is left standing in your yard and it gives your yard an incomplete or untidy look. For someone who likes to maintain a clean compound especially with a well-trimmed grass, having a decayed stump in the compound will spoil the beauty of the compound.
2. Preventing Hazards
The stumps of a tree are dangerous and especially if you have children or pets in your compound. Stumps are usually awkward and cause tripping hence they may lead to some injuries. However, if you are tilling or mowing the lawn, stumps are dangerous to the equipment in case they are not conspicuous.
3. Stopping Pest Infestations
In the long run tree stumps begin to rot and as a result they attract insects such as termite weevil ants and beetles. Not only are these pests dangerous to your lawn, but they can invade your house and cause much larger and more expensive issues. This way, choosing stump removal, you will avoid the situation when the stump will become a shelter for these unwanted guests.
4. Avoiding Tree Regrowth
Occasionally, stumps cause sprouting of other trees, which is undesired by the gardener or farmer in most instances. Sprouts grow from the stump and result in the development of several small trees which drain the nutrients from your soil. These sprouts can be continuously growing and may have to be trimmed often.
Methods of Stump Removal
There are several ways that Jackson Tree Service can remove a stump, including the type of stump, size and location of the stump and the layout of the yard. Here are the primary techniques we employ:
1. Stump Grinding
This is the most common and most efficient way of stump removal. Stump removal entails the use of a particular equipment to reduce the stump to the ground level. The grinding process reduces the stump to mulch that can be used on the garden or taken away from the place.
2. Complete Stump Removal
If you require complete extraction of the stump with its roots we are able to provide full stump removal. This encompasses the act of removing the stump and the roots from the surface of the ground, clarifying the hole later to be filled with soil.
3. Chemical Stump Removal
Chemical stumps can be used in that the chemicals used hasten the decay process of the stump. Years later, the stump turns to be soft and can easily be chipped and pulled out.
Why Choose Jackson Tree Service for Stump Removal?
We know that stump removal is a delicate process and have the experience and equipment to get the job done properly at Jackson Tree Service. Here’s why homeowners in Jackson, TN, choose us for their stump removal needs:
1. Professional Expertise
We have a team of highly skilled personnel who have been involved in the stump removal business for several years. We then evaluate each stump removal scenario and decide on the most appropriate approach to offer you the best stump removal services.
2. State-of-the-Art Equipment
Our stump grinding equipment is modern and very efficient to guarantee you that your stumps will be removed with a lot of efficiency without causing any destruction to your compound. Our machinery is able to cut through even the most immense stumps and is not capable of damaging anything around them.
3. Fast and Efficient Service
We know that you want your yard back as soon as possible. That is why we focus on speed without sacrificing quality. The majority of stump removal jobs can be done in several hours at most, depending on how many stumps and how large they are.
4. Affordable Pricing
With Jackson Tree Service, we make sure that we give you the best value for our money when it comes to stump removal. We offer no surprise charges and our estimates are free of charge before any project commences.
So, if there is some unwanted stump in your yard, which is occupying a valuable space, it is high time you did something about it. When it comes to stump removal you can count on Jackson Tree Service to get the job done fast, efficiently, and for a reasonable price.

Unveiling the Hair Loss Nightmare Hair Loss: The Silent Struggle Hair loss, an affliction that haunts countless individuals around the globe, transcends mere aesthetics. It's a deeply emotional and sometimes harrowing experience, impacting not only how we look but also how we feel about ourselves. Hair is not just about appearance; it's about identity and confidence. In this quest for solutions, the choice of the right shampoo becomes pivotal. So, why does hair loss happen, and how can you find the perfect shampoo to combat it? Let's embark on this journey of discovery. The Emotional and Physical Impact of Hair Loss A Crisis of Confidence For many, hair loss is an emotional crisis. The moment you notice those telltale signs – thinning hair, receding hairline, or the dreaded bald spot – it's hard not to feel a sinking sense of self-esteem. Questions about self-worth, attractiveness, and aging inevitably surface. The emotional toll can be profound. Daily Struggles Beyond the psychological toll, hair loss brings practical challenges. Every morning, you may find yourself examining your hairline in the mirror, hoping against hope that it looks better than the day before. The frustration of watching hair strands clog the shower drain is a reality for many. The Underlying Causes Before diving into the world of hair loss solutions, it's essential to understand the root causes. These can vary widely from person to person, and they're not always easy to pinpoint. Common Causes of Hair Loss Genetics: If your family tree is dotted with balding branches, genetics might play a significant role in your hair loss. Hormones: Hormonal imbalances, such as elevated levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), can trigger hair loss, particularly in men. Diet and Lifestyle: Poor nutrition, stress, and an unhealthy lifestyle can accelerate hair thinning. The Importance of Choosing the Right Shampoo The Shampoo Dilemma When hair loss starts to affect you, it's natural to seek a remedy. This is where shampoos come into play. But not just any shampoo will do. The right shampoo can make a significant difference in your hair's health and regrowth. The Role of Shampoos in Combating Hair Loss Shampoos formulated to address hair loss are designed to tackle the problem at its source. They work in several ways: Strengthening Hair Follicles: Quality hair loss shampoos contain ingredients that strengthen hair follicles, reducing hair breakage. Stimulating Hair Growth: Certain active ingredients, such as minoxidil, promote hair regrowth by extending the hair growth cycle. Blocking DHT: Some shampoos include compounds like ketoconazole, which inhibit the production of DHT, a hormone linked to hair loss. The Path Forward Now that we've grasped the emotional and physical impact of hair loss and the pivotal role that the right shampoo can play, it's time to dive deeper. In the next section, we'll explore the science of hair loss, understanding the factors that contribute to this condition, including the dreaded DHT. Let's equip ourselves with knowledge, the first step toward finding the ultimate solution. Next stop: Delving into the Science of Hair Loss. Stay tuned for more insights and valuable information on your journey to healthier, more luscious locks. Delving into the Science of Hair Loss Understanding the Intricate Web of Hair Loss Welcome to the second leg of our journey in pursuit of the ultimate hair loss solution. In this section, we'll delve into the scientific intricacies of hair loss, demystifying the causes, and highlighting the role of a notorious culprit – DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). The Hair Loss Landscape A Multifaceted Challenge Hair loss is anything but straightforward. It's a complex condition with various underlying factors. To tackle it effectively, you need to comprehend these factors and their interplay. Here, we'll break it down for you. The Role of Genetics The Genetic Connection: As we journey through life, the genetic predisposition to hair loss can play a substantial role.
If your family history includes hair loss, you might be genetically predisposed. Androgenetic Alopecia: This hereditary form of hair loss is the most common, affecting both men and women. It's associated with a genetic sensitivity to the hormone DHT. Hormones and DHT DHT: The Notorious Culprit Dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is a potent androgenic hormone derived from testosterone. It circulates in the bloodstream, but it's DHT's effect on the hair follicles that makes it central to our discussion. The DHT Effect: DHT can attach to receptors in the hair follicles, particularly in individuals with genetic predisposition. Over time, this connection can lead to follicular shrinkage and hair thinning. The Miniaturization Process: DHT gradually shrinks hair follicles, causing the hair they produce to become thinner and shorter. Eventually, the follicles can become so small that they no longer produce visible hair. The Connection to Pattern Baldness Unraveling Pattern Baldness One of the most common manifestations of hair loss is pattern baldness. This condition exhibits a distinctive pattern, often referred to as male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) in men and female pattern baldness in women. Pattern Baldness in Men: In men, pattern baldness typically begins with a receding hairline and a thinning crown, forming an "M" shape. Over time, the hairline recedes further and the crown becomes more exposed. Pattern Baldness in Women: Women with pattern baldness usually experience diffuse thinning, which affects the entire scalp. It can be particularly distressing due to the absence of a clearly defined pattern. Your Journey Continues Understanding the intricate web of hair loss and its connections to genetics, hormones, and pattern baldness is the foundation upon which we'll build our search for the perfect hair loss shampoo. Armed with this knowledge, you're better equipped to make informed choices. In the next section, we'll transition to the practical side of things, exploring the ingredients to look for when selecting a hair loss shampoo. From minoxidil to ketoconazole, we'll shed light on these powerful agents in our quest for healthier, more abundant locks. Up next: Key Ingredients to Look For. So, stay with us on this enlightening journey. Key Ingredients to Look For Unlocking the Secrets of Effective Hair Loss Shampoos Welcome back to our quest for luscious locks and a healthier, more confident you. In this section, we'll explore the heart of the matter – the key ingredients that make hair loss shampoos effective. Understanding the Power of Ingredients Not All Shampoos Are Created Equal When it comes to hair loss shampoos, it's all about the ingredients. These are the magic potions that can make or break your journey toward hair regrowth. Let's dive into the essential components to look for: Minoxidil The Gold Standard: Minoxidil is arguably the most well-known and extensively studied ingredient for hair regrowth. It works by dilating blood vessels in the scalp, promoting blood flow to hair follicles. Stimulating Growth: Minoxidil extends the anagen (growth) phase of the hair growth cycle, which results in longer, thicker hair. Application Process: It's commonly found in topical solutions, and the frequency of use varies depending on the product. Follow the specific instructions for the shampoo you choose. Biotin The B Vitamin for Hair Health Strengthening Hair: Biotin, a B vitamin, plays a crucial role in strengthening hair and nails. It enhances the keratin structure, the protein that makes up hair. Preventing Breakage: By preventing hair from becoming brittle, biotin reduces breakage and promotes healthier hair. Ketoconazole The DHT Blocker DHT Inhibition: Ketoconazole is a powerful antifungal that has been found to block the production of DHT on the scalp. As we learned earlier, DHT is closely linked to hair loss. Reduction of Inflammation: It also reduces inflammation on the scalp, which can contribute to hair loss.
Caffeine A Jolt of Stimulation Stimulating Hair Follicles: Caffeine can boost hair growth by stimulating hair follicles directly. It also enhances blood circulation in the scalp. Combating Thinning: This ingredient helps prevent hair thinning and promotes the production of healthier, thicker strands. Types of Shampoos for Different Hair Loss Scenarios Tailoring Solutions to Specific Needs Hair loss doesn't follow a one-size-fits-all pattern. Different individuals may experience unique challenges, from dandruff to oily scalps. Fortunately, there are specialized shampoos to address these specific issues. Dandruff Control Say Goodbye to Flakes Ingredients to Look For: Shampoos with ketoconazole, salicylic acid, or selenium sulfide can effectively combat dandruff. Recommended Products: Look for shampoos specifically formulated for dandruff control, often featuring these active ingredients. Oily Scalp Balancing Oil Production Ingredients to Look For: Choose shampoos containing ingredients like tea tree oil, salicylic acid, or coal tar to regulate oil production. Recommended Products: Explore shampoos designed for oily scalps to maintain a healthier balance. Dry and Damaged Hair Nourishment and Moisture Ingredients to Look For: Seek shampoos with natural oils, aloe vera, or glycerin for deep moisturizing and repair. Recommended Products: Opt for shampoos specially formulated to hydrate and repair dry, damaged hair. Gonna ramble about the fire that ravaged the mountain.
Razul visits Kami about once a year, and while he has no set time he usually drops in during the summer b/c warm and he is drawn to heat (so he often find himself going south or to volcanoes). This year however he feels, drawn to that mountain. Which is odd b/c it's not that late in year (and thus nor warm) and like, it's a mountain. Not a volcano, just a normal mountain.
But it's w/e and he brushes it off and goes. He's earlier than usual but Kami doesn't mind and well it isn't anything that would raise questions.
Until Razul, after being unable to shake this 'off' feeling asks Kami if he's noticed anything weird. And Kami admits that yeah, the mountain has felt odd as of late, tho he can't pinpoint what it is. He attributes it to the fact that it's been very dry as of late.
Everything this fine and normal, until a massive rain storm rolls in and, in the dead middle of the night, a stray bolt of lightning strikes a tree in the forest. And the fire starts. And it spreads so fast as everything is dry.
Both Kami and Razul sense this, Kami can practically feel the mountain burning and for the first time in literal decades has to disconnect himself from the mountain (at this point his powers are the point where he can, basically feel everything going on on the mountain, like when Aang tapped into the tree roots in the swamp) because it was actually hurting.
Razul does offer to stop the fire, he could do it very easily. But Kami turns the offer down, this would have happened even if he wasn't there, so it's not for him to interfere. The mountain needs to burn.
That said, he doesn't want the innocent villagers to die, so he enlists Razul's help in evacuating them (by force if necessary). Razul also ensures that the flames never touch the village (the villagers go on to think this is a miracle from the mountain god and Razul relentlessly teases Kami about taking credit for his work).
This just leaves Kami of course (Razul is fire proof so e would be unharmed). Kami remains on the mountain, protected by Razul (while this keeps him from getting burned, the heat is awful).
The fire burns for days before it finally dies, the mountain charred beyond recognition.
Eventually the villagers return and they start sighting a strange beast barreling through the mountains, new green grass and flowers and the like springing up in its wake (it's Kami, giving the mountain a kick start on regrowth lol)
Just some oc rambles on my mind.
Razul hanging around the village/towns near the mountain where Kami lives just to listen to what kind of stories they're telling about him, usually b/c they wild as hell and he finds it entertaining.
This he hears includes:
-the regular old crap about the 'mountain god' 'forest spirit' 'land god' etc... (Kami is not a god but he IS very long lived and damn near immortal so the locals think he's a god)
-the strange deer/kirin of the forest (this is, in fact, also Kami, just in his alt form. sometimes he likes to go for a wander about deep in the woods like this)
-"if you see the forest beast don't follow it, it'll lead you deep into the woods and you'll never find your way out". (false, unless you've done something to severely piss him off or are the literal scum of the earth he's not gonna hurt you. he is in fact very chill)
-"the forest beast helps lost travelers" (almost certainly true, he will lead lost people to safety/out of the woods. connected to the above, if you're lost and have pissed him off he may just, leave you there, let you find your own way out)
-not to hunt in the forest b/c it'll anger the mountain god as he protects the forest (not, entirely true. he does protect the woods and the villages in the mountain, but the wild animals roaming the woods are, wild animals. if someone hunts them, they hunt it. but don't you dare disgrace the life you have taken by wasting the kill, that will anger him)
-anything on the shrine grounds is sacred and must never be touched under any circumstances (true but misleading. they're not "sacred" they're just essentially his pets, and going onto someone's property and killing their pet is plain rude. you can pet and interact with them tho)
Also occasionally they have stories about HIM and his relationship with Kami which are very funny to Razul.
-there is a fire god who stops by occasionally and is a bitter rival/enemy to the land god. they fight for control of the mountain with the fire god leaving with his tail between his legs (not true. the sounds coming from the mountain are not those of a fight, but of them catching up and laughing. they're friends, not enemies or rivals. and what would Razul do with a mountain anyways? unless it's a volcano it's useless to him)
-the great fire that ravaged the mountain side years ago was the result of one of these fights (not true. there was a fire on the mountain years back, but it was started by a drier than normal season and a stray bolt of lightning during a thunderstorm, Razul being there was pure coincidence. he let the fire rage at Kami's insistence).
He's usually subtle about his eavesdropping but sometimes he cracks up and gives himself away. Sometimes he brings Kami with him to listen to what he hears, otherwise he just listens and tells them to Kami when he visits, as it makes a good story for the both of them.

Unshackled - Part II.
It was a long day - or maybe even days, she had no idea how long she was trapped in the nightmarish realm of Thros before her miraculous escape - and Brigitte was so tired. Of everything.
Tumblr media
Once the entrance to the bandit cave she currently occupied was sealed up by the thick, thorny roots and bushes called upon by her magic, the thornspeaker apprentice sighed. Tugging her new coat tighter, she crumpled onto the makeshift bed and went through the recent events in her mind.
The former occupants of the place would give no trouble to anyone in the future, Brigitte made sure of that. It was adequate payment for kidnapping her in her sleep after she got out of the Blighted Lands. She wasn’t the first young woman they took to be sold as slaves, but she was the last. What’s more, they wanted to kill her once their ‘merchandise’ was not as helpless once awake as they first thought. Scum like that, they deserved their due after so many ruined lives.
It was just the latest occasion people tried to get advantage at her expense. Snide remarks, cold comments, terrible jokes and every physical insult she received in her life so far - Brigitte was tired of them, had enough.
“From now, people can say what they want, I don’t care, not anymore. I’ve endured every abuse in silence all this time, but it still got to me. That ends now. And if someone attacks me I won’t just defend passively. They need a lesson, and if they chose me to be the one to carve it into them, so be it.” Bri muttered, eyeing the wood-like talons of what passed as her left hand now. It didn’t feel natural - it never will - but she could move it almost as well as the original, the discomfort she’d just need to get used to. A permanent reminder of the drust, and the price of her past.
“Teacher Kellan is ought to be happy. The so-called shackles keeping me from a part of my powers are gone. And I remember everything now.” Saying the words aloud helped to focus, some of it still felt unreal even now. How her  mother and a few others in the village wanted power, how their attempt to animate a large wicker construct failed. The screams as it turned on them and then on the rest of Greybarrow. The village was wiped out almost completely, with Brigitte being one of the few survivors. All thanks to a brave father, who managed to buy enough time for his wounded daughter to escape by setting the thing on fire, along with himself.
“Dad...” These were painful memories, ones that Bri’s mind shut away before, but now that she had them again, the druid swore never to forget them, especially her father’s sacrifice.
"I know the whole tragedy was mother and her cohort’s fault... but to think it would be her silver brooch that saves me now. Ironic.” It was a family heirloom if her mother could be believed, Bri got it for one of her birthdays. According to ‘that woman’ who found her in the forest after the incident, Brigitte was holding onto it tightly when she was found and kept it on her person hidden under her clothes ever since. As if it still had a purpose to fulfill. Maybe it did, maybe she was thinking too much into it. It didn’t matter anymore, it was lost forever, enabling the young woman to return to Azeroth.
“Gorak Farana... I must warn Teacher Kellan about her.” Brigitte’s time in the Blighted Lands was worse than anything she experienced before. Being forced to confront her nightmares - her memories; fleeing in fear from drust spirits; getting cornered, wounded and maimed. Recalling that made her shudder, losing her left hand to one of those dreadful axes. Her wounds aching and holding her bleeding stump tightly, she thought she was about to die. She would have, if not for a sudden call that made the drust stop. It was then that she first beheld the witch. The sorceress was imposing in the way your worst fear can be, and powerful.
“That twisted power... and I carry a piece of it for the rest of my life.” The thornspeaker apprentice was the perfect tool that would let Gorak Farana finally leave Thros. With the veil shattered, the witch could directly open a portal to Drustvar through Brigitte’s connection to the place. Bri’s luck was that the drust woman wanted to use the kul tiran as her vessel to cross over to Azeroth in the flesh, but she could not allow the host body to be defective.
Growing a new hand using drust magic and the environment wasn’t something Brigitte thought possible, but the sorceress could and did. Only, it would take some time for the restoration to finish and feel natural, and Gorak Farana would only take over once the process was complete. The witch started working on the portal when she deemed the regrowth was around halfway done - this confused the druid, why couldn’t the drust woman simply do it once she was in possession of the body? The only possibility Bri could think of was that Farana wouldn’t be able to use her powers for a time while adjusting to the new body, and if another powerful drust spirit got word of a living human in her clutches, the witch’s plan would be in jeopardy. It was a desperate hope, but the only one Bri had and she had to act on it. She would be dead either way if it didn’t work.
The moment the portal was open, the thornspeaker apprentice called upon her druidic powers to remove her bindings - not caring that the new, taloned hand still felt unnatural with the process interrupted - and ran at the witch. The drust’s surprise only lasted for a moment, but it was enough for Brigitte to stab the silver brooch into one of Farana’s eyes and jump through the gaping black maw of the portal, accompanied by the witch’s painful and angry shriek. The sorceress desperately tried to close the gap between realms to prevent the escape of her vessel, but Bri was already through, only a part of her long braid was cut off. She could live with that. Brigitte exhaled in relief to be back on Azeroth, only to pass out soon after from exhaustion in the relative safety of a hollow between the roots of a tree... a pity the outlaws used it as well.
“The Tidemother was really with me this time. First Thros, then the bandits and I’m still alive despite all that. The threat of Gorak Farana remains, but I’ll pass that headache over to Teacher Kellan and the High Thornspeaker. That bitch Khendra however... she will pay for tricking me and sending me to Thros. Somehow I will make her pay.” Anger creeped into her voice at the thought of the Thornspeaker woman and - if she could see it - a blackish-blue light flickered briefly into existence in the empty socket behind the closed lids of her left eye, but it vanished instantly. Suddenly a huge yawn escaped her lips. ”But that’s a problem for tomorrow.”
Brigitte snuggled into her coat and closed her eye. She fell asleep quickly and for the first time in years, she slept soundly with no nightmare to trouble her dreams.

The Other World in the Woods
Hello, I was in a big magic mood the past few days and felt like writing about something happening in a different part of the MoR world, so enjoy this erotica about a Fae and a Witch (approx. 5k words under the cut)
The air is thick with the feel of unreality as the trees part to immerse you within the bubble where the magic is heavy enough you can feel it upon your skin and even deeper weighing down your soul. The trees form a perfect circle around this abode, not even a twig protuding over an invisible line drawn in the grass. The complete, utter silence in this clearing is a pulsing in your ears.
Before you is a house, although some might contest that description, sitting atop a tiny hillock in the center of the perfect circle. It looks like nature has reclaimed it, or it was always a part of nature. Like a massive tree trunk, bark is its skin. Roots all twisted up feed into the ground like veins. Gnarled branchs burst from the walls just to twist and turn back in, hugging the body they come from. The circular window you see is half-swallowed by the bark and so covered in grime you're not sure you could see inside if you were close enough.
The moon, full as a dinner plate, looks almost too big and seems to reflect the sun's shine directly onto the house like a mirror-made spotlight.
Doing your best to steel your nerves, you step up to the first stones. Like a moat, the hillock is surrounded by water. Even the grass is soft and wet, squelching as your boots pull themselves from where they're sunken into. This "moat" looks man-made, lined with purposely cut rectangular stone, and the crystal clear water lets you see the moss creeping up between.
It's only deep enough for the water to come up to your ankles, but you don't fancy ruining your boots anymore than you have with this journey into the forests and so you opt for the stepping stones leading an uneven path to the other side. You hop from one large, flat stone to another and, as your feet touch down, you swear you hear in your head a little chime play, like a piano key hit with every step. The pleasant, yet simple melody leaves you wondering if that's just a childish part of your mind or if it's actually real. Maybe this place still has some whimsy, after all.
The door is before you before you know it, but rather than knock, you stop.
Your heart is thundering against your ribcage, so hard you're starting to doubt your decision to come here. Your hand raises to rest tentatively on the door. If you thought the radiating magic was choking enough, your palm feels, beyond this dark, dark teal wood, an even greater magic flows in and out of this reality and the next, like a torrent you realize you're about to unleash.
There's a knocker.
It's disturbing, a gold-painted, ornate square and, protuding from it, a gold-painted hand, upside down with palm facing out like you're taking someone's hand if you want to enter this home.
But it's a knocker. That means... you're welcome to knock, right? That's what it does. That's its sole purpose as a knocker.
You swallow the rambling thoughts alongside the lump in your throat and slide your hand into the knocker's, doing your best not to let yourself notice the almost-living warmth that fills your palm as you do so. Wrapping your fingers around it, you rap its knuckles against the door. Once. Twice. Thrice. Then you step away.
You stand there for what feels like a quarter of an hour, but you rationalise must have been mere seconds, and just as you're about to turn and retreat with your tail between your legs, there's a click of a doorknob turning.
The door creaks open, the sound almost like an ominous croaking in someone's throat. But you realize that might just be the anxiety saying that.
There's nothing but darkness beyond the threshold. Or so you thought.
As your eyes adjust, you see the figure seeming to glide from the darkness. You can barely make out any features but a chance of light glances his face, revealing only half of it, but still not enough to put any logic to the formation of his visage.
A pearly, pupilless eye looks you over and you get the distinct feeling it trails down and up from head to toe before finding your face again. His expression sours.
"Witch," the deep, gravelly voice spits. "I've told your fellows I'm no longer donating bones. The regrowth has slowed too much."
"Witch...? How did..." The words spill breathless from your mouth without a thought.
You see the shift of shadows proving wry amusement crinkling the skin by his eye.
"The Call of After crackles upon your skin." His smile widens enough you see the full lips pulling outward at the edge. "But, the Father Fae, its voice is weaved deeply inside of me, so of course I can see that."
In just an instance, all trace of amusement and civility drops away. His voice rumbles.
"Now. Leave.”
The door trembles, ready to be slammed.
"I'm not-" you find yourself stammering, taking a step forward with a hand outstretched you've resigned to the risk of being broken with this incredibly stupid, risky movement.
Yet, it seems to have paid off, as the door remains open and a certain curiosity eases his expression
You swallow and try again. "It's not bones I seek. I don't plan to use you for an elixir or... anything else."
The hint of a face you'd been trying to make out vanishes and it takes you a second to realize he's tilted his head. Silence follows but he doesn't leave you wanting long.
"Hm," he hums.
And the door swings wide open.
The darkness that engulfed the interior was a falsehood as the opening reveals gas lanterns mounted strategically along the walls to illuminate the living space just right. But that's not what you're staring at.
The man, the Fae before you is easily a foot taller than you. In a battle between the warm, flickering orange of candelight and his skin, somehow the blue iridescence of his flesh is winning. His hair, pulled into a half-down style, flows in soft, pearlescent waves over his shoulders and down his back. Ears lengthened and pointed to the ceiling hug the sides of his head. Dark, stiff clothing covers the details of his muscles, but is tight enough on his broad chest and thick biceps to let you know they're there beneath.
His handsome face, with a straight nose, full lips, and well-manicured eyebrows, is marred on the side that hadn't been revealed to you. A massive scar that seems to have lost the iridescence of his skin tears itself down from his forehead, over his eye which seems just a touch narrower than the other, his cheek, and the corner of his mouth, all the way down to his chin.
You're shocked away from drinking in his mesmerizing appearance when he speaks.
"Come inside, witch." His voice isn't so welcoming, but he glides to the side to allow you by.
You hesitate for a brief moment, but noticeable enough that his eyes twitch narrower and that alone startles your feet into carrying you past him, even as you nearly choke transitioning from Out to In.
The door slowly swings closed behind you, without physical input, sealing you within the Fae's home.
The interior is much larger than the exterior of the house betrays. It must be a trick of reality. Candles lining the path he walks ignite with the perfect timing of his footsteps, like a trail of fire following him as he leads you deeper into his dwellings.
That torrent of magic you felt outside must be responsible for this space and that's why that pressure in your chest tried to kill you as you forced your way within. Now it's settled around you, no longer an oppressive force pressing in on you, but just the soft swirl of magic in the air like scattered petals picked up by a stray breeze.
It's almost... a comfort.
Until something moves on the shelf beside your head and your attention snaps to that. It's contained in a jar, but the spiky, shifting, dark mass inside tumbles over and over as if trying to find something past those glass walls it can never again get to.
Beside it, your curiosity piques, something is hidden beneath a velvet cloth but that's not enough to smother the light whatever it is is emitting. You can only imagine how bright it'd be, were it uncovered.
Your gaze is drawn forward again as the short hall opens up to a circular room. The shabby, unrefined exterior of the building was more than a farce. Smooth, detailed, carved and polished wood and the hard edges of a sophisticated influence make up the architecture inside. But you care more about the chaos before you than the interior design.
It's like a library but one made to fulfill every witch's dream. Shelves upon shelves of oddities to be studied or used in elixirs. Glass bobbles of beauty belonging to the night hang from shiny, delicate threads. The desk that sits in the center is overflowing with the scatter of papers and the magic scholar within you jolts with excitement at the very idea of being able to read what After-related secrets they might detail. The knowledge of the Fae... how you wish to devour it to your heart's content. Isn't that every witch's wish? Think of the spells...
A clearing of the throat snaps you out of your awe. The Fae has drifted around you to stand between you and his treasures. Sheepishness overcomes your demeanor but he just seems amused. You idly wonder if he's invited many witches into his home and witnessed the same wonderment as your eyes zero in on the spiral staircase over his shoulder, leading up to another floor. You definitely pegged this as a one-story cabin from the outside. Curiosity pricks the back of your mind again, not at what that second floor might be and if there's any others, but at how much power must be used to create a space like this.
Finally your eyes slide back to his patient face, prompting him to speak.
"What is your name?"
Your lips part.
Then shut again.
That twinkle of amusment in his otherwise pearly off-white eyes returns, his own lips thinning to a wry smirk.
"I'm no Faerie, witch. I'm not asking you to give me your name. Or your soul." He practically scoffs at the notion. "I'm an Omni Fae; I don't need it. Just share this knowledge and I will return it."
Your instincts say this is a bad idea. But, they've been saying that since you left your house and you've been ignoring them this whole time. So, you do. You tell him your name with just the slightest hesitance weakening your voice.
To your surprise, his smirk fades to a genuine smile playing at the corners of his mouth, his harsh features suddenly seeming so friendly with just the one gesture. His voice softly echoes your name and it's never sounded more magical resting on anyone else's tongue.
He turns to the desk he was leaning against, fingers with an inhuman grace fluidly sliding crooked papers back into their neat stacks.
"My name, witch, is Yewfie Frosthart," he speaks with his back to you and from this angle you finally take note of the thin, blue tail spouting from beneath the back of his coat, hanging down past his knees with the slightest sway. It ends in a tuft of fur that same pearlescence as his hair. "However, certain comrades call me Needle."
He slowly raises his head, then straightens his shoulders like something's clicked.
"Or, I suppose, I can say that..."
He spins on his heel so fast you jolt. His rough voice booms with the authority of a Rakian General.
"Kneel!"
Your mettle snaps within you like no more than a pitiful twig. You can feel it, like an arrow shot straight through the base of your skull. Your knees buckle and you don't even flinch at the pain as they hit the wood floor.
"Huh." It comes out more like a huff of amusement from his lips, which open to a loose smirk, almost like he wasn't expecting that to work as well as it did. "I see you have submissiveness inside you. Quite bold, then, for you to have stolen that power you wield as a witch."
Your vision shakes, as do your cold hands as you stare up at him in awe. He knows too much without you saying anything. He can do too much. This Fae is far more powerful than you were told and this was a bad, bad idea... right?
His biceps bulge as he crosses his arms over his hard chest. He shakes his head, hair moving in shimmery waves, as if reading your thoughts—but that's impossible, right?
"I'm not here to pass judgement, submissive." His voice has softened once again as he leans over, but doesn't take a knee, in front of you to brush his calloused fingers along the line of your jaw. "Just tell me what you seek and I might be able to provide."
Your voice catches in your throat, nothing more than a broken moan making it past your trembling lips. You swallow, as difficult as it is, and try again.
"Kn... knowledge," is the whisper that breaks past the oppressive dominance radiating off this Fae towering over you. Your arm feels heavy but you force it to lift, to reach for him. "I... I seek knowledge."
"Knowledge..." He tastes the word thoughtfully. "Knowledge has a price, you know."
His eyes narrow at you. "And I don't think you're ready to pay my price."
Your hand shoots out before you realize, the heavy burden that weighed it down completely forgotten in your desperate instinct to reach for him, keep him with you. Your other soon follows and your fingers latch on the leather belt wrapped around his hips, leverage as you shuffle forward on your knees.
"I prepared myself," you say almost like a plea, and it must show in your eyes too. "Before I came here, I prepared myself."
That causes him pause, a pregnant pause that hangs between the two of you as his muscles barely shift, the slowest turn back to you. The look on his face... like a shark that's smelled blood. And then his large hand lands gently atop your head.
"Prepared... mentally? Or physically?" He smiles with the words, a dark glint in his eyes. Your fingers tremble.
"...I prepared myself," you repeat and his fingers curl, gripping your hair.
His other hand reaches to his belt.
"Very well, witch."
***
The candelight has dimmed significantly, either through his will to set the mood or the passage of time. Your jaw is tired by now, but you're pushing forward.
It doesn't feel like a chore. It feels like a rite. You can't stop until he's pleased. The taste that fills your mouth, layers on your tongue, is unlike anything you've experienced before. It's musky, it's masculine, it's sexual, but it's also inhuman, pleasant, and powerful. Your tongue craves it, lavishing the underside of his lengthy cock and worshipping the blushing purple head now shining with a mix of pre and saliva. Your hands move on their own, weighing and massaging his hefty balls, those delicate orbs that contain the source of your sweet craving, and sliding up and down the part of his shaft you can't cram down your throat, making sure not a single inch of his incredible cock goes unattended.
He sighs in pleasure, graceful fingers playing through your hair to pull it out of your face. His length jumps in your mouth. His abs shiver like he's feeling it. But he's not cumming.
You pop off, panting like a dog, and take to filling your hand with his cock. Soft and wet skin, it slides through your fingers with the movements of his hips, the franticness of his pulse, brought on by multiple hearts, twitching against your palm.
He curls a lock of your hair around his finger. "That's good, little witch," he murmurs, the growl of his voice having dropped enough to a deep something almost soothing and sweet.
"Is it?" you pant.
"Yes..." He smiles. "I seldom have company as good as you're being right now. I can sense your eagerness. It energizes me."
Then why aren't you good enough to make him cum? His cock feels hot as you press your lips to the side of it in a kiss too loving to be given to something so lewd. Looking up at him through half-lidded eyes, you let your desire leak out in a whisper, "I want you to cum..."
His eyebrow quirks, eerie smile unmoving. "Is that so? This was just foreplay. You are very good at it, however..." He grasps the base of his cock, bouncing it against your willing tongue. "Then, keep going. I'm close. I'll let myself this time. Go on."
You need no more prompting. Revitalized, your hand redoubles its efforts, closing your fingers around his shaft like a makeshift cocksleeve for him to fuck. Your mouth kisses and sucks gently at the skin of his sack, willing the churning balls contained within to let loose already.
His fingers move from your hair to curl around the nape of your neck, encouraging you to lavish the base of his cock with your tongue. His ombre claws scratch your skin as his grip tightens ever so slightly, a grunt escaping him.
You can't get enough of this taste. You wish you could force his length down your throat, but you know you'd choke on his size, so you have to settle for lovingly polishing his shaft with your mouth and feeling his intense pulse fluttering like a hummingbird shot up with caffeine squeezed between your fingers.
He lets out a shaky breath, leaning back on one hand. "Oh... So good, little witch. Don't stop," he moans. You can't tell if he's putting you on, or if this is what it means that he's letting himself feel it this time.
Two of his fingers press against the pulse behind your ear and, as he whispers for more, you realize you're moving your hand in ways you hadn't thought of, reacting to what he wants without him having to say it, like the remaining half of his soul is reaching deep within you to connect with yours, encourage to slow down and speed up, tighten your grip as you slide your hand up and loosen as it falls back down, to tease the underside right below the head with your thumb. You're rewarded with copious amounts of shimmering pre, the involuntary twitching of his cock, and his breathy groans that send shivers down your spine.
"Like that," he gasps. "Keep going- n- ah- oh Gods." He releases your nape to wrap his hand around yours, tightening your grip for you, and forcing your hand to pump faster and faster. His lips pull back in a snarl, eyes shutting as his head tilts back. "Gods- yes- yes- y-"
His whole body jerks, hips jumping against your hand. He groans, stilling your hand at the base of his cock. It twitches in your grasp and you watch in awe as a couple shots of his dark blue, semi-translucent semen fly free and the rest begins to leak down his length, thick and warm sliding over his and your fingers.
After a moment of tension, he finally relaxes and releases your hand, letting you pull it back and stare at the blue cum coating your fingers. He lets out a long breath and looks down at you again.
"Like I said..." He pauses to bring his hand to his mouth. His white tongue slides out and he drags his fingers down it, catching the taste of himself. His tongue then flicks across his lips, like he's savoring it, a lewd sexiness you never expected from a Fae scholar. You squeeze your thighs together a little tighter, the excitement that's been brewing between them finally reaching the point of unbearable neediness. "You're an eager one."
"But," he continues. "This was just foreplay."
Not bothering to tuck himself back in his pants, he simply bends over, gripping you under your arms. "Up we go." Rather than hauling you to your feet, he lifts you up, catching you easily with his hands on your thighs and forcing you to wrap your legs around his waist. He steadies you with one hand on your back, but otherwise seems to have zero trouble holding you up.
"Let's go upstairs, to my bed, so I can love you properly," he whispers in your ear and begins to pepper your neck, jaw, and cheek in kisses. All you can do is hold on tight as he carries you up the spiral staircase, not even having to look at where he's going.
It's an unceremonious drop, but the bed that meets your back, that bounces you once then lets you sink in, is soft and comfortable, welcoming you with the feeling of safety and, beneath you, a handmade quilt that surrounds you with the distinct, puzzling essence of a mother who loved her son.
The fleeting feeling is gone in an instant as his weight presses you down into the bed. For the first time, his lips meet yours and sparks the sweetest of feelings deep within you.
Instinctively, you take his face between your hands, holding him gently as you move your mouth against his in the rhythm dripping with ardor that he leads you through. The softness of his lips, the faint scratch of his stubble, the taste of his mouth, and the air from his lungs filling yours, you lose yourself to the haze, like sinking slowly and warmly into the spring of Nothingness. Your fingers find his hair and take the ribbon holding his locks together with them, letting those waves flow down to frame his face and brush ever so softly against yours.
He breaks the kiss and his shadow falls over you as he sits up. His hands find the ties at his side and then his top is coming undone, tossed into a heap on the floor followed by his dark undershirt. You were right, those clothes hid so much of his hard, toned, scarred body.
You reach a hand out, your fingertips desiring to feel the uneven terrain of those well-maintained abs, but one firm word from him—"Stay."—and your hand snaps back to its place on your chest.
He shuffles forward, parting your thighs to fit his hips in between them. His hands make quick work of your clothes and you let him, giving yourself over to the feeling of his palms lighting a fire up the silhouette of your body as your back arches off the bed to meet his touch. A smirk plays at his lips as your top comes off, but as soon as he's slid your pants off your legs, he leans in again to seal his lips against the column of your throat.
His hand dives between your legs, fingers finding your wet heat and you sigh in pleasure. A pleased hum rumbles in his chest.
"So you did prepare yourself." His breath fans your skin and his teeth scrape you in a small nip at the V shaped muscles in your neck. "Good... Because I can't wait anymore."
Another shift and he's pushing your legs up. His forehead meets yours. You can't see where his eyes are looking but you're pretty sure, right now, it's directly in your own eyes.
"Is that okay?" The question catches you off guard. He's paused against you, but the eagerness he teased you for previously is now radiating off of him. Not trusting your voice, you nod emphatically, trying your best to brace yourself and calm your skyrocketing heartrate.
He reaches one hand between the two of you, lining himself up. Just as his hips push forward, his lips capture yours.
It's unlike anything you've felt before. The way his girth splits you open, stretching your sensitive walls to welcome himself inside, driving ever deeper and filling you, filling you until his hips meet yours. You prepared, but not for this. You're melting around him, whimpering into his mouth. He pulses inside you, feeling just as connected to you as you are to him.
"Just breathe," he breaks the kiss to whisper against your lips. "Don't hold your breath. I've got you."
You whine in response and he seals the sound in again with his lips. His body rocks against yours, barely pulling out before sliding back in. You don't feel empty for a second. You feel full, so full, and you let yourself melt completely into it, wrapping your legs around his hips and your arms around his neck. His tongue sweeps through your mouth and you slide your tongue along his, tasting the sweetness of whatever berries have satiated him today.
You moan against each other, his grip on your waist gradually tightening as his short thrusts grow in force until he's tense. His tail lashes against your legs in frustration. He grunts, slamming his balls against your butt at this point, trying to find a stimulation he seems to be lacking. Finally, he can't take it anymore. He breaks the kiss again.
"Hold still," he growls.
Twitches seize your muscles as he sits up and takes your hands in his, his tail curling around your ankle as you loosen your legs from around his hips. Lacing his fingers with yours, he slowly pulls out. His hands squeeze yours and then he thrusts forward with a force that drives a loud cry of pleasure from your now unburdened mouth.
He molds your inner walls to the shape of his cock, stretching your insides around every contour of the thick, lengthy, hard shape spearing into you; you'll never feel the same again.
He doesn't give you a break and you wouldn't ask him to, pistoning in and out like it's what he was made to do. The sound of skin smacking against skin mix in the air with the sounds of your non-stop moans and desperate cries. His own groans escape unbidden from his mouth as his head tilts back.
Pleasure rides like tsunami-level waves up your body. His hips beat against yours, fucking up into your stomach so hard tears spring to your eyes. But you don't beg him to stop. You beg him for more. He calls your name, for the very second time since you met him, your name shapes his voice. And you see it.
The air sparks with magic and you finally see it; the white flame that surrounds his aura, emerging from his incomplete soul. The black fog that creeps up behind him, like eyes watching over his shoulder, seeing all your vulnerabilities.
The Call of After crackles upon his skin. It's weaved so deeply inside him he'll never be untethered. Never free of Father Fae.
The flame that licks down his arms flows into you and you feel Power.
That split second where the sensation of sex faded away slams back into you full force. Your nails dig into the backs of his hands, your hips move on their own, bucking up to meet his every earth-shattering thrust.
You beg him not to stop, never to stop, crying out your pleasure, calling for the Gods that abandoned this world, anything to work this feeling out of you, the feeling that makes your body move on it's own, that makes you want to scream your head off. Jolts rock through your body, sparks firing off in your brain. It's building. The tension grips your muscles. Control is snatched from you completely. The power bundling up in your core expands into every crevice of your body, shooting up your spine, straight into your brain and then-
You throw your head back, a scream tearing claws up your throat as you climax explodes through you, from this reality to the next.
Your insides' frantic spasming around his cock proves too much for him, too, triggering his own orgasm, but you barely get to see his reaction before everything goes black.
***
A weak moan escapes you before your eyes manage to crack open. Your bones feel gelatinous as your bleary surroundings slowly come into focus, the darkness at the edge of your vision receding.
The vague feeling against your cheek sharpens to familiar stubble and soft lips placing kiss after loving kiss on your neck, jaw, and cheek. You then realize you're cradled against a warm, bare chest. And the clothes upon your body are not the ones you came here in. In fact, they're a size or more too large for you, though comfortable.
"Are you awake, little witch?" His voice rumbles soothingly.
"...Tired..." you mumble in response and he chuckles deeply. You really want to close your eyes and turn your face in to those sculpted pecs and sleep for the next century, but you force yourself to look up at him.
He smiles, all hostility from your initial meeting now completely vanished from his demeanor. He leans in to greet your swollen lips with two kisses. He then turns away and sits up on the side of the bed, leaving you lonely.
"Well then." He locks his fingers together, stretching his arms above his head and letting you see the way his muscles move and stretch in his back.
"...You owe me knowledge, Fae," you find the strength to shoot back, though your voice sounds as sore as your throat is.
He laughs lightly, snatching his discarded shirt from the floor and standing up. "Of course. I haven't forgotten." He coyly glances back at you over his shoulder as he wrangles his shirt back on. "Find your strength, witch, then join me downstairs. You've more than earned the knowledge you seek and I will answer all your questions."
His smile grows upon his lips.
"Tell me, do you like tea?"

The Perseverance of New York City’s Wildflowers In Williamsburg, on a seven-acre park by the East River, spring will soon unfurl in blue blossoms. Cornflowers are always the first to bloom in the pollinator meadow of Marsha P. Johnson State Park, a welcome sign to bees and people that things are beginning to thaw. On Monday, the meadow got its annual mow-down, its grasses trimmed to six inches to make way for springtime blooms. “The mow-down encourages this rebirth and regrowth,” said Leslie Wright, the city’s regional director of the state park system. If New York City has a warm spring, the cornflowers may open up by late April, eventually followed by orange frills of butterfly milkweed, purple spindly bee balm and yolk-yellow, black-eyed Susans that also inhabit the meadow — hardy species that can weather the salty spray that confronts life on the waterfront. Not all of these flowers are native to New York, or even North America, but they have sustained themselves long enough to become naturalized. These species pose little threat to native wildlife, unlike more domineering introduced species such as mugwort, an herb with an intrepid rhizome system. Although cornflowers herald springtime now, they were not here hundreds of years ago, before colonizers forcibly displaced the Lenape people from their ancestral land of Lenapehoking, which encompasses New Jersey, Delaware and parts of Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York State. The Lenape knew spring by another bloom: white tufts of flowers from the serviceberry tree, which powder its branches like snow in April. Today, serviceberries still bloom in Brooklyn, in both Prospect Park and John Paul Jones Park. A wildflower can refer to any flowering plant that was not cultivated, intentionally planted or given human aid, yet it still managed to grow and bloom. This is one of several definitions offered by the plant ecologist Donald J. Leopold in Andrew Garn’s new photo book “Wildflowers of New York City,” and one that feels particularly suited to the city and its many transplants. Mr. Garn did not intend for “Wildflowers of New York City” to be a traditional field guide for identifying flowers. Rather, his reverent portraits invite us to delight in the beauty of flowers that we more often encounter in a sidewalk crack than in a bouquet. “They all share a beauty of form and function that offers testimony to the glory of survival in the big city,” Mr. Garn writes. He asks us to stop and consider the sprouts we might pass every day and appreciate them not just for their beauty, but also for their ability to thrive. More than 2,000 species of plants are found in New York City, more than half of which are naturalized, Mr. Garn writes. Some were imported for their beauty; ornate shrubs such as the buttercup winterhazel, star magnolia and peegee hydrangea all reached North America for the first time in a single shipment to the Parsons & Sons Nursery in Flushing in 1862. Others came as stowaways, as the writer Allison C. Meier notes in the book’s introduction. In the 19th century, the botanist Addison Brown scoured the heaps of discarded ballast — earth and stones that weighed down ships — by city docks for unfamiliar blossoms, as he noted in an 1880 issue of the Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club. During one July jaunt to Gowanus in Brooklyn, Mr. Brown noted purple sprouts of sticky nightshade, a plant native to South America. He also found violet tendrils of the welted thistle, native to Europe and Asia. The welted thistle did not successfully outgrow the ballast heap to take root in New York City, but sticky nightshade has stuck around. Marsha P. Johnson State Park, which sits on a 19th-century shipping dock and former garbage transfer station, is no stranger to ballast. The docks imported flour, sugar and many other goods until operations ceased in 1983. The state bought the land and, in 2007, reopened the site as East River State Park. In February of 2020, Gov. Andrew Cuomo renamed the park after the activist Marsha P. Johnson, one of the central figures of the Stonewall riots and a co-founder of Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries with the activist Sylvia Rivera. Ms. Johnson, who died in 1992 of undetermined causes, would have turned 75 in August 2020. In January, the state parks department unveiled a proposed $14 million redesign of the park featuring a thermoplastic mural of rainbow stripes and flowers, reported the Brooklyn Paper. Although the state promised to consult with the city’s LGBTQ community, members of Ms. Johnson’s family and the trans community were not consulted and have criticized the proposal. Local residents created a petition — titled “Stop the plastic park!” — for real flowers and natural landscaping instead of the harsh colors of the thermoplastic mural. In response to the outcry, the state is holding workshops in March and April for the public to offer input on the redesign. “I have candles lit always for Marsha and Sylvia, but I’m praying especially hard now that we get a plan that includes lots of flowers,” said Mariah Lopez, the executive director of Strategic Trans Alliance for Radical Reform, or STARR, an advocacy group. Ms. Johnson was known for wearing crowns of fresh flowers that she would arrange from leftover blooms and discarded daffodils from the flower district in Manhattan, where she often slept. In one photo, Ms. Johnson wears a crown of roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, frilly tulips, statice and baby’s breath. Although cumulous clusters of baby’s breath are now a staple of floral arrangements, the species is a wildflower native to central and Eastern Europe. Ms. Lopez and STARR have criticized a proposal for a new $70 million beach scheduled to be built on Gansevoort Peninsula, near waterfronts where Ms. Rivera once lived and Ms. Johnson died. In its place, she suggests a memorial garden for Ms. Johnson, Ms. Rivera and other transgender people. “We will never feed enough people, we will never plant enough flowers, never be good enough to honor Sylvia and Marsha,” Ms. Lopez said. “They cared too much, even when no one cared for them.” Ms. Lopez, who grew up on the Upper West Side near a sooty smokestack, has always longed for more green spaces in the city. Her dream of the park includes a range of verdant and functional spaces: a paved area where people can vogue and hold rallies, a flower garden in tribute to Ms. Johnson, a greenhouse and an apiary for bees. “You can never have enough bees,” Ms. Lopez said. “They aren’t there to sting you. They’re minding their business.” Parts of Marsha P. Johnson State Park will remain closed for construction until June, when the native plantings meadow will be in fuller bloom, replete with the sunny heart-shaped petals of evening primrose, urchin-like heads of purple coneflowers and the drooping red bells of columbine. In late summer, buttery clumps of goldenrod will follow suit. Soon, the garden will also be abuzz with bees, beetles, moths, butterflies and other pollinators. There are several tunneled beehouses, designed to attract native solitary bees, such as carpenter bees, and offer them rest after imbibing nearby nectar. Unlike bumblebees, carpenter bees have no queens or worker castes. In some carpenter bee species, females nest in groups, living alongside their daughters or other adult female bees. The redesign of the park will add a new fence around the meadow, as well as interpretive signs about the pollinators who depend on its wildflowers. “What would happen if there were no bees in the world?” Ms. Wright, the city’s regional director of the state park system, wondered aloud. “We have to protect them. That’s what the function of this sweet little meadow is.” She added that the bees will come when the cornflowers bloom, in warmer, bluer months.
