        Do you feel sad or depressed and frequently become frustrated in every little things? Are there times that you feel anxious, irritable or moody? Are you being forgetful due to the fact that you are having trouble to think clearly because you are having negative thoughts? If the answer to all of the questions is yes then you are in a state of tension or pressure or in what we called "stress". Everyone experiencing this stress, adults, teens especially students, and children. The assumption to that is you should know or learn about its causes, its effects, its symptoms, and on how to overcome or control it.
       According to medical science, stress is a physical, chemical, emotional development that causes strains that can lead to physical illness. In psychology, the terms is used to refer both to heightened mental and body states and to the cause of such states. Stress by definition is an interaction between individuals and any source of demand (stressor) within their environment. In general, we can say that stress is your body's response to anything that you perceive as overwhelming, may it be positive or negative.
         Stress is a natural part of life, without it, you would lose your energy for living. Too much or too little of it will limit your effectiveness, so it is important to find your optimal level of stress - the balance at which you are most motivated. Excessive stress hinders your relationships at home, in school, and even at work. It also reduces your liveliness and energy resources that could be used for enjoyment. Aside from this, you can also become negatively influenced in your attitudes and feelings about yourself.
         Life stress that having a big impact to your life are the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job, increase in financial obligations, getting married, moving to a new home, chronic illness or injury, emotional problems like depression, anxiety, anger, grief, guilt, low self-esteem , traumatic event, such as a natural disaster, theft, rape, or violence against you or a loved one, these are some the causes of stress.
        The symptoms of pressure including pressure and sleep disorder, annoyance and violence, peptic problem, high blood pressure, chronic worry, incapability to relax, alcohol or tobacco use, and etc. People who have stressed they normally will painful muscle tension, increased smoking or drinking, headaches and high blood pressure. Indications of pressure as sleepiness, annoyances and moodiness can lead persons hooked on other problematic like become drinker or excessive smoking. There are four types of symptoms of mental pressure, emotive, bodily and social.
         Most people confused are stress good or bad. Actually stress is not all bad. When stress is handled effectively it provides the motivation which encourages people to overcome the obstacles which separates people from them goals and hopes. Stress can be helpful and pleasurable because stress can make people progress faster. Some stress is necessary because sometimes without stress people most likely slack off and waste times. Stress can help keeps as mentally alert and stable. Stress also can lead to satisfaction of accomplishment.
       It is important for us to know on how to cope up and minimize stress. We can do this little by little, you have to exercise regularly, eat balances diet daily. Also, we should avoid excess caffeine intake, illegal drugs, alcohol, cigarette or tobacco which can increase the feeling of anxiety.
