Main Street isn't quite as bustling as it would be during the summer months, but that also means there are less eyes on you if you decide to do a little sightseeing. Here, you can observe the elite in their natural environment: sharing tea and gossip in the warmth of a cozy cafe, going to fittings for gowns and suits that must outdo their competitors at the upcoming gala, depositing charitable proceeds into their own personal treasuries, and--hold on, they're stealing? As it turns out, some (read: almost all) members of Pearl Shoals haven't acquired wealth the good and honest way. And what's more: everyone seems to know that everyone else is lining their own pockets, they just turn a blind eye to it. In order to maintain your cover, you'll have to hide your disgust over this fact. This isn't your mission, after all. But can you restrain your heart from yearning for vigilante justice? Or maybe you have to convince your moral-bound friends from causing a scene. Whatever the case, you have to play it cool. [Grants Faith +1]
Reasonably speaking, what these people decide to do is none of her business. It’s not her job to care. Her job (unofficial as it may or may not be) is to keep an eye on the students and faculty sent to gather intel, and bail them out of whatever mess arises when they inevitably fail one way or another. Disgraceful as it may be, if a noble decides to stick their hand into another’s fundraising tin — in broad daylight, no less! — it is, regrettably, not her problem to deal with.
Nor is it her problem when the robbed ‘charity’ runner becomes the robber of their neighbor organization. Or then another robber the robbed. Or…
…She’s starting to see a pattern here.
The clink of coins resounding about aren’t the sound of new generosity joining the old, it’s that same generosity being relocated. Redistributed elsewhere, yet somehow in amounts that seem to shrink each time, judging by lightening pitch of the sound. And it doesn’t quite require genius-level intelligence to infer where the missing quantity is going…
Sothis narrows her eyes at the one who started it all. (Or, probably not all, things like this tend to be a culture built up over years of repeated behaviors, but at the very least started the chain reaction started now.) Not even the slightest hint of remorse in that noble expression. Only a smile. As if they had done something good — something to be proud of.
…Well, if they don’t mind it…
“You! You’re affiliated with the Officer’s Academy, correct?” Sothis grabs onto the semi-familiar girl beside her in the crowd, giving a quick once-over to the stranger before continuing her ‘pitch’. She’s not as familiar as some other students and faculty have come to be to here, even if they don’t know it, but the attire and mannerisms line up well enough regardless of any lack of personal recognition. She’ll do fine.
“I am Sothis, a… helper, for this mission.” The girl smiles her most trustworthy smile at her new partner, nodding in the direction of the noble-turned-thief-turned-target. “But never mind me! You see that overdressed fellow over there? I’m sure you can tell as well as I that one is up to no good. If you can draw their attention for a short while, I shall enact a swift retribution! And retrieve us both a little ‘evidence’ as a bonus, too, hehe. What say you?”

The gentle air of the greenhouse feels warmer as she turns to see the young empress. A smile crosses her face.
“Sanaki.” Leanne takes her hands into her own. “Grew.”

[TEA]
Scanning the room, Sanaki's curious eyes land on an imposing figure. Even with her limited knowledge of Fodlan, she can make an educated guess as to who that is at the table. Sanaki squares her shoulders, picks up a second cup of tea, and saunters over.
"You must be Archbishop Rhea," Sanaki greets imperiously, but inclines her head in slight deference. "I am Empress Sanaki of Begnion, a new student at the Officer's Academy. I believe you are already acquainted with a few of my allies from Tellius." She pauses to take a sip from her cup.
Sanaki doesn't typically bother with courteous gestures, but the Archibishop is the highest power in this continent. Sanaki places the other cup of tea on the table. "This is a bergamot which I've found rather enjoyable tonight. If you are accepting," she drops a starfish charm onto the saucer, "you can have one of these as well."
By now Rhea is well used to nobles of all rankings attending the academy- from the lowest barony to monarchs at the highest position in their land, and she does view these titles with the respect they demand. Her own position as Archbishop and ruler of Fódlan does not blur her notion of mutual respect, even when under her wing in Garreg Mach positions other than hers and those of the clergy mean very little. When Sanaki approaches, she offers a nod in acknowledgement with a kind smile.
“Good evening, Sanaki. You are a new arrival for the Black Eagles, correct? I hope your journey to Fódlan has been a most pleasant one.” Tellius- her mind initially goes to faces like Professor Dheginsea, Kurthnaga, Soren. All who smell like her- though they are of different origins completely. “I have met many students, faculty and knights alike who all hail from Tellius, indeed. It seems to be a lovely land with strong, resolute individuals.”
“Thank you, this is very kind.” Bergamot wasn’t a blend she often picked, but pleasant and soothing nonetheless. If anything, it serves as an interesting starting view for the young empress. “I too hope you have been enjoying the ball so far, despite the unforeseen circumstances.” The offered starfish was exchanged by a small golden anchor, metal glinting alongside a small smile in the Archbishop’s face.

i feel like people who say ike is a mary sue/gary stu in radiant dawn don’t realize that fe10’s supposed to be the ending of his arc as a character, where he’s reaching the very last part of his development.
at its core, fe9 is a coming-of-age story; ike goes from being a hotheaded, impatient teenager to a much calmer, more mature version of himself after having the responsibilities of handling a mercenary company and later an entire army thrust on his shoulders at far too early of an age. as such, while fe9 on its own initially seems as if it’s an entire character arc, we actually get to see how ike further grows into himself after 2 years of peace and coping with the events of the mad king’s war, a privilege that remains extremely uncommon for most fire emblem protagonists.
the ending of part 2 introduces us to a 20-year-old ike, now having physically grown up to match his personal growth from the start of fe9. while a more mature version of himself, he never turns on the morals and ideals that make him who he is, having decided to leave the crimean court to return working as a simple mercenary because he knows it’s where he belongs. despite this, however, he still finds himself dragged into conflicts and subsequent positions of power he doesn’t want. even though all he wants is a simple life as a mercenary, he still willingly chooses to take on the role of a general of sanaki’s army because he’s just not the kind of person to turn away someone in need, especially when he’s quite literally the only person qualified to fit the role asked of him (commanding armies of both beorc and laguz).
to clarify, ike isn’t already over with his character growth by fe10– he’s just nearing the end of it. while it’s a lot more subdued, you can absolutely still see the stubbornness and sass that characterized him in fe9; he’s still backtalking the enemy commanders he fights and giving people in positions of power above him a hard time whenever they do or say something he doesn’t like.
on that point, even as the “mature” version of himself, he honestly still kind of puts his foot in his mouth a few times there. it obviously never reaches the extent of him snapping at the entire council of begnion because they were being rude to elincia, but instances like this, where ike could have literally gotten himself and his entire army killed if he had genuinely offended dheginsea, whether through death-by-black dragon king or getting thrown back into the kauku caves:
or this, by which point in the story he’s so tired of everything that when oliver decides to defect from his own forces to the greil army, ike’s just like “eugh” and says right to oliver’s face that he’d rather fight and kill him then have his support as an ally, something he probably shouldn’t be doing (and most likely wouldn’t if it wasn’t oliver asking) considering there’s a very finite number of people available to fight ashera:
(i can’t entirely blame him for this one though, because, again… oliver)
or, hell, even this, where ike is standing directly in front of ashera who is about to kill everyone in the tower and turn the entire world to stone, to which his response is to tell her to pick a god and pray:

…are all pretty good instances of ike not always managing to catch his tongue. i mean, if nothing else, you can’t deny the guy’s got balls of steel, but shit-talking pseudo-immortal beings entirely capable of killing him on the spot probably isn’t one of the wisest decisions out there. still, though, it actually matches his fe9 characterization pretty well; in both games, he tends to snap and say or do something ill-advised when he’s frustrated and believes someone else is in the wrong in some way. the main difference between the games is the extent to which ike reacts, though, as now he’s a little calmer even when angry, and no longer charges headlong into danger like when mist and rolf were kidnapped or when facing the black knight for the first time. he’s still making some questionable (bad) decisions here and there, it’s just now they’re a lot less severe than they used to be, and he’s grown up enough that he doesn’t need titania to lecture him whenever he does something dumb anymore.
besides this, the main thing ike is still dealing with in fe10 is his tendency towards self-effacing behavior— and yeah, on its own “too nice for his own good” does sound like the sort of flaw a gary stu would have, but in this case it genuinely does affect him. he’s constantly bending over backwards to help those in need, even when his own kindness is constantly shooting him in the foot and leaving him to deal with even more problems. it actually coincides with his tendency to speak before he thinks, because as a person he just can’t sit by and watch as someone or a group of people is treated unfairly, even if it means getting himself wrapped up in a mess he could have avoided by staying quiet.
on that whole “shooting himself in the foot” thing, it’s important to keep in mind that the “rewards” ike receives for his kindness are more often than not things he doesn’t actually want. as a smaller example, his good looks, bravery, and gentle heart are constantly getting him attention from women when he himself has no interest in their flirting, to the point it makes him uncomfortable. as a much larger example, ike doesn’t want to be a wealthy nobleman, but he still accepts the title of lord to help elincia, and chooses to hold it for a year and a half after the war for the sake of giving legitimacy to her newfound regency over crimea. after this, he finally manages to give up his title and return to running the greil mercenaries, only to be contacted by bastian after a few months and have to go into hiding for the sake of launching a surprise attack on ludveck’s rebel army. he’s then immediately drawn into the begnion-laguz alliance conflict, something he’s actually okay with because he’s being contracted as a mercenary commander and not a general, except that as soon as their army combines with crimea and sanaki’s forces he’s promptly guilt tripped into being a fucking general again. after, like, 2 weeks of commanding sanaki’s army, they accidentally set off the apocalypse, and now ike is the general of the army facing off against literal god. when all of this is said and done, he still doesn’t get what he wants— a simple life as a mercenary— because now he’s known across the entire continent as the radiant hero, the savior of tellius. after everything he’s gone through, he doesn’t even get to have the quiet life he wanted because he’s simply too impactful of a person to be forgotten by history. ike doesn’t want fame, riches, and women; he just wants some relative peace and tranquility, something he is continually denied while the former is frequently pushed upon him.
ike’s ending is where i personally believe it marks the true conclusion of his arc as a character. like a lot of other people, i wasn’t initially sold on the idea of him just up and running away from the continent forever, leaving behind loved ones like mist and titania. after thinking it over a lot, though, i eventually realized it’s actually a very fitting ending for someone like him. the unfortunate truth of the matter is that, no matter what, if ike had stayed in tellius he never would’ve gotten his true happy ending— his fame as a general would have followed him forever, and it’s almost guaranteed he would have found himself dragged into yet another conflict he didn’t want to be a part of, something he himself definitely seems to be aware of.
as such, ike packing up his belongings and taking off either alone or with someone dear to him was actually the best solution to this perpetual dilemma; after years of pain and struggle, finally finding a way to escape the world that had ripped away his childhood and demanded so much out of him must have been cathartic. no longer was he the radiant hero, savior of crimea and tellius— now he was just ike, a traveling mercenary, and that was all he wanted the entire time. it’s also part of why i like the idea of him going with soren so much, as anyone else, including ranulf, would still have ties back to tellius, and could potentially come to regret leaving permanently in the way ike wanted to (hence why someone like mist could never be an option). with soren, however, all he wants is to be at ike’s side, regardless of wherever it takes him. in fact, i’d even argue the two of them leaving together is the best-case scenario, where they both can get exactly what they’ve always desired. as ike and soren get to finally escape the world that had caused them so much grief together, they actually both attain their happily ever afters, living the lives they always wished they could have had.
at no point is ike ever a “perfect” character; at his very core, he’s a person who refuses to stray from his moral compass, something that causes him to make as many mistakes and brings as many issues as it does successes. in fact, it’s so prevalent of a trait it stands as one of the themes of fe9, where even as he grows from a stubborn child to a calm, mature adult, he never loses that earnest belief in doing what’s right. as such, while it can be easily mistaken as doing so, path of radiance was never meant to contain the entirety of ike’s development as a character— it was merely intended to portray his growing pains as he gradually develops into the person who would one day be hailed as the radiant hero. mirroring this, radiant dawn stands as the very ending to this story, in which his selflessness finally grants him a tellius at peace and the freedom to seek out his own happy ending. he was never meant to go through an entire, second arc in this game— he was simply finishing the one he started four years ago.
#oof that was long#at some point i’m gonna have to come up with some sort of tag for these tellius analyses#but i can’t really come up with any sort of clever or funny name for it right now#anyway it’s also probably good to note that another reason why ike’s development is a lot subtler in this game#is because the story needed room for the growth of several other major characters in this game#like miccy/pell/elin/skrim/etc.#so like even with everything i said here there’s also just the obvious occam’s razor lol#fire emblem#tellius#fe10#ike#long post

Nasir cannot help but stifle a laugh at the appearance of Begnion's little empress dressed up all pretty and waiting tables at a restaurant like it was everyday work for someone with her position. It was odd, to see a girl who had once snuck aboard his ship while hiding from her guardians now before him, asking him if he wanted still or sparkling water.
Funny how times could change in an instant like that. It seemed like just yesterday she was a mere child, and here she was now, almost grown.
"Worry not, little Empress, I wouldn't dream of revealing secrets without permission unless it was absolutely necessary," The white dragon smirks softly, he knew far too much about keeping secrets, for he still had plenty of his own that he would not - or could not bring himself to - tell people. This was a mere paltry thing to keep a secret, though he's almost certain more will recognize her quickly enough with time, were she to stay working here beyond her mission now.
"Still water will do nicely though, thank you."

Every Zelda’s favorite video game:
Obviously not directly canon to Wisdomverse since the Zeldas don’t have access to video games, but I had fun thinking of what they’d play if they did :)
Sun — Stardew Valley
Dot — Baldur’s Gate 3, Overcooked 2 (Dot introduced it to the Colors and watched the chaos unfold before stepping in to expedite)
Lullaby — Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (she’s surprisingly good at it)
Tetra — Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
Dawn — Princess Peach Showtime (she doesn’t usually play games, but this one is wholesome and she likes it)
Fable — Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 (her favorite character is Justine)
Dusk — Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (her favorite character is Sanaki)
Artemis — League of Legends (she plays ADC and sometimes loops Wars in as support)
Flora — Kerbal Space Program

So because of Leopold's support and the shadow assassinations by the Agarthans and Humbert , it would be irrealistic to have a civil war happen early on (as in it start during the first year of the war) despite how Edelgard's extended lmanifesto (not just the church part) screw over the nobility while at the same time screwing the church that, unlike the nobles, the civilians of Adrestia seem to somewhat give a shit about?
At least if the intent when writing a fanfic is to respect the lore/world building of Canon?
We don't see enough Adrestian civilians to even know what they think about, we heard about "missing" church people in Adrestia, but nothing about the commoners - we only hear in passing iirc Ashe talking about starvation because of the war, but idk if he's talking in general or about Adrestia.
Ferdie'n'Lysithea's paralogue tells us the randoms in Hrym and being bled dry under Ludwig's name (when he's actually framed by Thales!), and even if the game tries to avoid this topic like the plague, I still wonder where all those "war assets" are coming from, especially since the "people working" on those projects didn't hesitate a second to use Adrestians as guinea pigs (iirc Remire is in Adrestia!).
So Hubert's secret police + starvation + whatever is happening thanks to Agarthans riling people up like what happens in Hrym + Leopold being in charge of the army (that is made up of people from other places than just, Bergliez) + Hubert being Hubert, aka willingly take people hostage or threaten them to make their families comply + Supreme Leader (I mean Hubert) jailing/rekting "corrupt" nobles in the first days of her ascension to the throne...
Nopes apparently says Enbarr's people are pretty happy about the war, because they're revanchists and are hell removed from the frontlines - but what about the rest of Adrestia?
I once compared the coronation scene in CF to a coup (because Billy and Supreme Leader are accompanied by soldiers) but it would sort of match, Supreme Leader gets total control of the army through Bergliez's lust of power/conquest, control over the finances because Linhardt's dad is just like that I guess, Hubert oversees everything and, at least in FE16, Arundel still sides with her.
Aegir was neutralised, Vestra Sr was put in a trashcan, and Varley is either reduced to a puppet or to House arrest.
There are no powers left to oppose her in Adrestia, and if commoners somehow managed to rebel, they would have to deal with their very own national army, secret police and random Agarthans... on top of finding enough food to eat to survive while the ressources are given to the frontlines.
But in a way, everything I'm just saying bar the canon facts of :
having Leopold and the Army + Waldemar and the money
Hubert doing Hubert things
opposing big name nobles being swiftly deposed/neutralised just after her coronation (or before in Nopes!)
food shortages
FE16 wise : Agarthans taxing randoms to death/ Nopes : Agarthans killing people randomly
FWIW, AG where we learn a bit more about Adrestia, and how, apparently, Agarthans and bandits (?) are slaughtering randoms there, but the nobles are too concerned by the Kingdom's assault to protect their people, and would rather see them die than divert troops to, just, have the bandits/agarthans stop creating rivers of blood with the bloods of the people they're supposed to protect.
Everything else is headcanon/AUs/fanfic/however you want to call it.
So bar those points... Adrestia just exists and it's a damn shame, because even Begion managed to get its pseudo civil war between Sanaki and the Senate where commoners/people supported one over the other, but in Adrestia? Bar the BE peeps and a few dads, you have the feeling no one else exists.
FWIW, in the non CF routes, the opera company joins Billy's army iirc, so maybe they're not loyalists? And represent some people who aren't that gung-ho about the war?
i have that random headcanon that in Nopes, Manu and Mittelfrank are used for spying stuff, and actually, through Yuri and Manu herself, give intel about what happens in Enbarr to the CoS while the opera workers try to sabotage as much as they can some stuff in the Imperial Army... but that's just an AU lol
#maelor321#replies#FE16#3 nopes#Adrestia stuff#tfw the only nobles we see on Adrestia's side in SB are the ones who completely bought Supreme Leader's rehtoric#thus want to show their merit by uh#doing things that rank up merit during a war where you invade people i guess#I'd just have liked one map or a battalion of Adrestian rebels who join either the CoS or the Kingdom/Alliance because they do not approve#hell maybe if you recruited Ferdie instead of joining you there's a paralogue not in SS where you have to help him as he is#idk... maybe destroying a war asset camp/facility#and the Imperial Army found him out and has order to eliminate him and he must be saved by Billy + Lord ?#anything really#i have at least 3 AUs with Adrestian rebellions lol#from fake pretenders to the throne to zombies#and the Manu résistance network lol

One day, you find yourself waking up thoroughly sore, scraping yourself off the floor of a Monastery classroom. As you strain to remember how you wound up there, you catch sight of your hand – except it’s not yours. Nor are the clothes you now wear, or the body beneath them. Your actual self is standing opposite you, staring back in shock and… covered in dust? Before things spiral further, the professor attempts to quell the growing chorus of unrest with an explanation, which also serves to jog your memory. This was supposed to be a seminar showcasing the magical properties of a magic tool from Tellius known as Warp Powder. Unfortunately, its volatile nature lends itself to many potential side-effects if mishandled… one of which is ripping people’s souls out and depositing them into the nearest acceptable vessel. The unbothered professor assures everyone that this “minor inconvenience” will wear off on its own eventually, and that the Monastery will still be expecting the completion of your usual assignments and duties in the meantime. [Grants Any Weapon +1]
Finn was a weapons professor. Occasionally, he dealt with riding and other tasks. He was a simple man with no eye for other means. Magic and all that sort of thing was out of his boundaries. A knight foremost and all, loyalty and his lance were all he needed. So when the monastery asked him to demonstrate a lesson with the foreign warping powder, he had to decline. There was too much at stake. Dealing with unknown substances was dangerous, especially with someone who did not know what they were doing. Thinking back, it irked him that the academy was likely shoving tasks onto whoever was going to take the bait. Well, he was not. He was going to keep things simple and clean.
However, the idea of the warping powder was interesting - he could not deny that. After gaining permission, he opted to watch a demonstration of a class experimenting with the very said powder. It looked innocuous, but Finn never had an eye for these things. Perhaps one had to understand the weight and depth....all sorts of manner of properties.
As he sat by the windows of the classroom, Finn wondered how to stay clear of the experiments. But more than that, he wanted to know what he was lacking as a knight. He'd paid his duties, but emptiness crawled inside of him driving him mad. What was the finishing touch? Why was he not cleared of obligation? He was nearly tempted to write a letter to Leonster himself, simply inquiring on the state of affairs.
But no. He had to hold back. At least for now. They could never grow if he was always watching over them.....
So befuddled in his thoughts that Finn did not notice when the warping powder of a young purple-haired girl rose in the hair and snapped, creating the loudest of crackling sounds, as if thunder cleaved through the air.
One moment he was there, and then....
It took moments for him to awaken. Hands rubbed at his eyes. Some manner of explosion must have sent him packing - it must have been the warp powder. Rising from the ground, Finn noted the area and checked for any damage. But his body did not feel the same. Rather it was.....smaller.
Immediately, his eyes scanned himself. How did he shrink like this? His hands seemed like remnants of what they used to be, his body an echo of the able knight he hoped he was. Reaching up, he found silky purple hair where short blue traces should be.
What was going on?
And then he saw himself. Or rather, he saw something - someone - in his own body, across the room. Words tried to come out of his mouth but they failed him, falling to the wayside. "Excuse me," he tried, "I think........I think there has been some sort of mistake." [@shimuberin]

Sephiran and Zelgius Timeline UPDATED
Instead of just having a jumbled idea of the timeline of sephiran and zelgius's relationship I decided I was going to spend my day off writing up my idea of how their timeline works based on cannon information with my own little headcannon flair because i can and you can't stop me.
*THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO @theia-eos FOR COMMENTING WITH THE RADIANT DAWN ARTBOOK TIMELINE I HAVE USED IT TO UPDATE THIS TIMELINE WITH MORE ACCURATE INFORMATION* I also had to remove some sentences because tumblr gave me a fuckin character limit while editing this for some reason
Key:
Bold = explicit canon
unbold = rough estimate canon/ guess
italics = headcanon
urple = sephzelg highlight reel (gay thoughts)
red = year
Complete timeline after the keep reading thing:
625: Misaha’s assassination and the serenes massacre → lehran villain arc. Lehran presents the medallion to ashnard and enters daeins service under the guise of a “wise man”
626: “daeins sudden change” → this is likely when the bloodpact began its effects and the deaths of the daein royal family. I THINK THIS IS WHEN SEPHIRAN AND ZELGIUS MET
Zelgius was serving in the Daein army under general Gawain for a few years. While sephiran is serving as a wise man under ashnard's father he meets zelgius and zelgius confides in him and they agree to be with each other when zelgius eventually leaves the daien army.
Later that year Gawain dips out of Daein with Elena. Zelgius despairs that his Master left him. Zelgius would then enter sephirans service.
627: Ashnard becomes the king of daein, (This was originally when I thought zelgius joins sephiran but I found out Gawain actually left BEFORE Ashnard became king according to the radiant dawn artbook).
I assume Sephiran leaves Ashnards service after Ashnard gets what he wants. Seph doesnt fuck with his bad vibes.
627~635: Sephiran and Zelgius do a bit of travelling and make plans for big evil or something. Sephiran still being a travelling sage and zelgius being a knight not connected to any army until he joins the Begnion military perhaps a decade later
During this time sephiran scaffolds information about himself and his past to zelgius. I do genuinely think that sephiran eventually opens up about everything to zelgius (and vice versa) including him being lehran and the origin of the branded.
634: assuming ike is around 7 when his mom died, this would be around the time point where Gawain touched the medallion and lehran and zelgius saw the aftermath.
The reason why I think ike is 7 years old here (*he's born in 628*) is because that is how old soren would have been too according to his own timeline (based on his support convos), and those two met the day before the gawain medallion shenanigan occurred
Idrk when seph and zel join begnion as dukes. Based off of the artbook zelgius was actually born into a begnion family before fleeing to daein so maybe he reclaimed the cador family name or something. Sephiran claimed to be from a long line of mages (Persis) and somehow become a noble through this so called mage lineage.
637: sephzelg 10 yr anniversary
635: Sanaki is born. Sephiran may or may not be a senator at this stage
Sephiran begins to rise up the senate ranks through rizz and zelgius rises up the army ranks
At some point between 635-640: sanakis parents are killed by the senate probably
640: sanaki (5 years old) becomes the empress of begnion and sephiran becomes the “senate leader” aka prime minister
the event lekain talks about when sanaki would stfu during formal proceedings and they discover sephiran has insane babysitting skills occurs right after sanaki becomes the empress i think
645: beginning of mad kings war. At this point in time sephiran and zelgius would have been together for around 18-19 years
Black knight shenanigans. Sephiran travels tellius and gathers intel
Sepiran gets captured in crimea by daein military, probably waited for zelgius to go save him hence why he wouldnt fucking move when ike rescued him lmao
Black knight scraps ranulf, sephiran steps in and tells black knight to stand down
Sephiran eventually returns to begnion, tells everyone to get their fucking shit together, sends zelgius to go help ike (black knight still be existing). Zelgius’ group stays in daein while ikes group goes to crimea. BK does multiple warcrimes in the meant
646: Nados castle falls on the black knight. Sephiran rescues him and uses is epic healing skills to get zelgius to recover before the battle between ikes team and ashnard in the final chapter
646: End mad kings war. Sephiran annoys the shit out of ike by laughing at him for no reason. The black knight is “defeated”. Sephzelg 20 year anniversary aww
646-648: new evil world ending plan just launched
648: war part 2 electric boogaloo
Summer 648: Black knight return arc, sephiran is set to go to daein and tell jarod to stop being a cunt or something but gets thrown in jail before he got the chance to????
Autumn 648: Sephiran captured by the senate while zelgius is at war doing war stuff
Zelgius saves sephiran from jail part 2 electric boogaloo and the two of them start a cheeky uprising in bengion.
Zelgius and sephiran made a pact to die together in the tower. I think they made this agreement way in advance and they knew that was the end goal no matter what happens.
Winter 648: zelgius vs ike gay on gay violence. Zelgius dies. Sephiran either also dies or lives. pain and suffering
~1848: Ashunera returns. Lehran may or may not be there to greet her. Hope he dies soon

Lucia plays Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn: Chapter 7
. . .Did Izuka hit his head or something between games? I mean, I didn't see much of him in PoR, but he felt more coherent than. . . this. But also - the Dawn Brigade and revolutionary army trusting him feels about as sensical as the Nohrians working with Iago in Fates. . . .Probably even less so, considering that they were distrustful of Iago.
Base conversations, Meg and Zihark - . . .oh god, that was hilarious. But also, I suppose that was something that Brom and Zihark talked about in their supports back in PoR? I didn't get any for either of them, so I could see it.
Pelleas and Micaiah - okay, I'm. . . having a difficult time getting a good read on Pelleas. Is he a Branded, and just trying to obscure it? Or is he legitimately someone who has a bond with a spirit? And the way he talks about it with Micaiah. . . speaking of whom, so I guess she is a Branded? Def weird stuff going on with this convo.
I had like 5000 points of BEXP, so I levelled Micaiah a bunch, leaving her at level 18 (already read that her promotion is story-based), got Edward all the way up to his promotion after some of his stats already got maxed out, and got Aran really rather close to his promotion. I think Micaiah and Aran I'm not gonna use much for the next chapter, so I can make sure to get their three guaranteed stat-ups.
Ah, now we're getting to the point where I can't deploy everyone anymore. Honestly surprised it took this long. . . well, for the time being, I'm benching, Zihark, Ilyana, Leonardo and regrettably Fiona. After reading up some more on her, I just doubt that she's going to be worth it, which is a shame.
Tormod and Muarim are back! And the former really just looks a lot like Roy with his new, older design, I gotta say. And- . . .I just found another go-to unit for my team. Vika. Vika. Vika!! Oh my god.
Overall not much trouble with this map, and Edward is really tearing shit up now that he's promoted.
Now for the aftermath - . . .did Sothe and Tormod have supports in PoR? Because looking at their interactions here, there's some chemistry, I gotta say.
. . .Come to think of it, I forgot the hidden items again. Fuck! But since those were apparently just a coin and a master seal, probably not that big of a loss, especially since you can't sell master seals in this game.
Inch resting that all of what's going on in Daien is happening behind Sanaki's back. Speaking of her though - is she 13 now, or was she 13 in PoR? The writing here was a bit unclear on that.
Ah, and Micaiah's a branded after all. I wonder what kind of Laguz her other parent was?
Actually, something that's been bothering me this chapter - for whatever reason, there were these instances where my units would just not do any damage despite the battle forecast showing they would, and I have no idea why?? What's up with that?

Those ages cannot be real. They can't. Veronica doesn't act like she's thirteen, she acts like a sheltered nineteen-year-old. Alfonse is in no way near 30, he acts maybe 23. Sharena is def 18-19. What are the FEH writers smoking!?
LMFAOOOOO WELL!!!! Without official ages, these are all rough estimates from snippets of dialogue and lore! (And, full disclosure, a lot of headcanoning on my part)
I think Veronica (esp young Veronica) does a really good job at being a young character who acts older than she is. Someone who's mature for her age, esp due to growing up fast, but undeniably still childish. Which is very funny that you see her as a sheltered 19 y/o, cause like! I feel like that's the thing about treading that line! A character like that either comes off as an immature adult/older teen, who maybe looks young, or a surprisingly grown up "young lady", who's 13 LMFAOO (and through Sanaki, it was confirmed to be the latter!)
There's also a possibility that Alfonse and Sharena joined the Order of Heroes younger than my headcanon estimates (maybe as teens), which would place both of them younger current Book, too. And then! There's no real evidence to support that One Book = One Year. I think, passage of time wise, the best estimates might be gleaned from festival paralogues, actually. Since every festival corresponds to a yearly tradition/holiday!
All that said, I do think the ambiguity is on purpose. That way, the player can project what they think/feel onto the characters, maybe imagining the characters closer to themselves in age. Intsys can cast a wider net this way! Which Is profitable. For f2p gacha game. Where, unfortunately, the characters are also a product that's being sold to you essentially, relying on your emotional attachment to them 🧍
#ask answered!#feh#for the purposes of canon. take ALL that i say as hearsay LMFAOOO#EXCEPT. that book 4 line and sanaki line. those are really our only canon glimpses at their ages!#aside from the art book referring to alfonse as someone who acts like an old man. keyword 'acts'#due to his interests/the way he tends to carry himself in general. i think it does state he acts older than he is#so like. again. there is not a lot to go off of here LMFAOOOOO#fe veronica#fe alfonse#sharena

"It's more to do with how well you can bluff. Admittedly, I'm far more accustomed to a table of three." Really, they shouldn't have been playing it then but that was here not there now. "Maintaining facade or encouraging a person to make the choice you want them to through deception or even mannerisms alone. The beginning is boring but with stakes, the end can test your nerves.
[ play ] muses play a board game / card game together
"I may be a bit rusty at this, but I'd hardly turn down a challenge."
Old maid was a simple game and there was some luck involved, but as a test of the façade one could hold never hurt.
nonverbal prompts | accepting!
"Very well." Sanaki smiles mischievously. A dreadfully dull game of random chance, nearly stupid in its simplicity. Still, there were ways to make it worth her time...
She discards the Queen of Spades, shuffles the deck, and deals evenly between the two of them, extra card in Darios's hand. "This game isn't very interesting with just two players," Sanaki muses, as she picks up her own hand and begins to remove the pairs.
#//:D dont worry about it <- he just hasn't been lying as much as he could recently#{support: sanaki}

Someone really tried to tell me Micaiah was a "Sun" themed character.
the Silver-Haired Maiden,
Silver, the colour associated with the moon,
the moon is the symbol for Silver in alchemy,
the character with Dark Support affinity. with a dark colourscheme.
Thani's JP pronunciation potentially can translate to Second Celestial, or second star The second Celestial object in most mythologies being the moon.
The fact that she is a mirror to Sanaki, one of the most Sun coded characters in existance. All because they thought "Dawn feels more sun to me"

LGBTA Headcanons for the Tellius Cast
Now that I’m replaying PoR, I can’t stop thinking about the characters, so here are some LGBTA headcanons:
Ike is gay and also on the ace spectrum. Due to comphet, he doesn’t realize that he experiences attraction to men (however infrequently) until late into the events of Radiant Dawn. I feel like being around a bunch of beast laguz (who I headcanon are more open about sexuality), Ike finally gets a clue.
Soren is gay, and 100% in love with Ike. His entire character arc in PoR is (unintentionally or otherwise) a metaphor for coming out.
Ranulf is bisexual, which I headcanon as being more common among laguz. It’s not necessarily that there is a higher percentage of bisexual people, but there is so little stigma about sexuality that laguz are more likely to be open about their bisexuality.
Kieran is definitely gay, though I doubt he understands it. He is misinterpreting his feelings for Oscar, like that meme about sending a letter to a girl you have a crush on to tell her to leave your school. In fact, Oscar probably figures out Kieran’s true feelings before Kieran does. He is deep in denial.
Oscar is bisexual, though not open about it. He put his entire life on hold to look after his brothers, so he’s definitely not even looking for romance in the events in PoR. And while he bonds with Kieran in PoR, I don’t think it’s until RD that Oscar’s feelings turn romantic. I like to imagine that, post-RD, when Oscar re-enlists in the army, he finally confesses to Kieran.
Nephenee is a lesbian, but suffering from comphet just as badly as Ike. It’s not even until she meets Heather that she realizes that girls can like other girls, and that opens up a whole can of worms for Nephenee. It takes her a long time to untangle her thoughts, but post-RD, Heather and Nephenee return to Ohma, and live out their sapphic dreams of living on a farm with their dozens of rescue animals.
Mia is aro/ace. She may be a romantic, but only in the sense that she dreams of being a dashing hero, going on adventures, and having epic duels at dawn with a fated rival. She has never been interested in dating or marriage, and doesn’t understand why everyone else cares about it so much. But she tries her best to be supportive, nonetheless!
Tibarn is bisexual, and Reyson is gay. I imagine that their feelings for each other have remained mostly unspoken by the start of PoR. Perhaps they are reluctant to bridge the gap, unsure of how it will affect their friendship. By RD, however, they are 100% sharing a bed, in love and not at all secretive about it. I like to think that seeing them together was the beginning of Ike’s gay awakening. At first, he’s confused why they are sharing a tent, and he asks Ranulf, who is just like. Is that a joke? And Ike gets his first lesson on sexuality!
Sigrun and Tanith are in a relationship by the start of PoR. In the beginning, Sigrun was a person Tanith greatly admired, aspiring to be as strong as her. Once they began looking after Sanaki together, romance between them blossomed, though due to their positions, they have to keep it private. (Plus, I doubt Begnion is super queer-friendly.)
Lucia is a gallant, charming woman, and I imagine that she has many admirers of all genders. Lucia herself is bisexual, but she is married to her job above all else, and doesn’t have relationships that last longer than a few months. She becomes Melior’s foremost serial heartbreaker.
This post is getting super long and I am getting tired, but I may continue this at another point. I clearly hold too many LGBTA headcanons…

Favorite time of year: Fall! I'm a halloween girl.
Some interests and things you like: D+D, Vocaloid, birdwatching
Some funfacts & trivia about you: I’ve been singing almost my entire life. I picked it up after my parents tried to get me to play piano but my hands would not cooperate. Also, I read tarot cards.
What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Pikmin, Project Diva/Sekai, Honkai Star Rail, Taiko no Tatsujin
Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Flying type and Umbreon.
How did you get into Fire Emblem? My friend was playing 3 Houses and told me he loved it. I had gotten some money for Easter and decided to use it on 3h. I didn’t really get into Fire Emblem until I pulled Reyson in FEH and instantly fell in love with his design.
What Fire Emblem games have you played? I’ve only ever finished Engage and it’s my biggest shame.
First Fire Emblem game: 3 Houses
Favorite Fire Emblem game: Tellius
Any Fire Emblem crushes? 😳 you know this already
If you’ve played the following games, who was your first S support? Who would you S support nowadays?- Awakening: I have plans to S-support Stahl because he took a crit for my Robin. Fairytale romance imo- Three Houses: Claude - Engage: Kagetsu!!! Silly guy...

Current TOA muses: Just Phina for now.
Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Reyson. I would like to drabble with him again, but I feel his muse is pretty dead and it makes me happy to see other people writing him with such care.
Have you had any other TOA muses? Yeah... I’ve had an embarrassing amount of muses here. Reyson, Janaff, Plumeria, Sanaki, Midir, Kagetsu. Most of their blogs are still up and their URLs are on my about page on Phina’s blog.
Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? People in love and The Horrors. Recently I’ve really wanted to write about the horrors.
What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? It changes all the time! I find my favorite writing happens when I'm in sync with where the muse is at, for better or worse.
Favorite TOA-related memory: I'll never forget the friendship between Barely's Ophelia and my Janaff.
How do you pronounce TOA? 🤔tee-oh-ay. Like the letters. But I do call everyone the Toasters. Got any delusions that didn’t see the light of day that you’d like to share? 😉 I thought about writing Nephenee for a while? Weird. I also have an Embla blog lying around...
