Astarion flirting with Pascal can be troublesome. Usually, it's the drow who sees others as a meal rather than the other way around. Perhaps it's one of the many reasons why the drow became infatuated with the spawn during the early days of their journey. Sure, Astarion is pretty, but seeing those fangs covered in blood is such a turn-on.

Based on a screencap I took a good while back. It was mostly an experiment with environments, poses, lighting, and digital painting. I got a little carried away with Pascal's abs, as the man wouldn't be that ripped.

a brief exploration of the amatyakarakas 🍸

🍸note: any information regarding amatyakaraka placements should be treated lightly, as a good portion of these celebrities do not have verified birth information. i calculated all of the following celebrities with unverified birth times assuming they were born at noon their time!

🍸the amatyakaraka does not share the immense physical focus of the atmakaraka, but serves as the knight (amatyakaraka) to the king (atmakaraka), as it controls much of the labor/work of the chess of life. it is a karaka designed to aid you in picking a field or hobby that can allow you to fully express the passions of your graha. It is the helpful hand that guides you to who you truly are, in this post i focus on the overarching lessons of this placement.

🌙 key components: these women often serve as role models to individuals through their presence in the media, but often serve as a lesson to the pitfalls that come with being "revolutionary". recall alexis ren who revolutionized mid-2010's social media and fashion yet struggled privately with her eating d*sorder. additionally, kaley cuoco was popularized for her role in "the big bang theory" yet too struggled with her eating habits. this is why some vedic astrologers theorize chandra to be associated with eating d*sorders, as yes soma seeks to nourish, but this nourishment (coupled with the drive/talent/profession denoted in the amatyakaraka) results in a potential for restricting soma (nourishment) to feel in control of one's surroundings--that is one's profession or environment.

The Princess and the Parselmouth (WIP)

Synopsis:

Wizarding Britain is poised to take a dangerous step backward as the vote on the Purity Act draws near. Amidst growing political tension and his family's legacy hanging over him like an executioner's axe, all Ominis Gaunt wants is to complete his phD and keep his head above the churning tides of darkness that threaten to pull him under.

When the youngest and only daughter of the Surya royal family saunters into his life with her sunny smile and razor-sharp wit, Ominis' world is somehow pulled together and turned upside down. Princess Miradevi Surya Lakshmi upends his chaos in a manner he grows to adore beyond measure, and for a moment, everything feels like it could go right.

However, Mira's title does not grant her immunity from the scrutiny that accompanies being a muggleborn. Miradevi and Ominis are caught right in the middle as internal tensions in the Ministry grow into a hostile coup.

The small town of St. Ives is shrouded by mist and mountains, its secrets sitting heavy on Ominis Gaunt's shoulders. His lifelong friendship with Miradevi Lakshmi colors the darkness that saturates his world, and relieves him when the weight of what he does to keep her safe threatens to crush him. All he wants is to get her as far away from the town as possible, but ancient pacts bound in blood and the darkness of his family's history keep his hands devastatingly tied.

A string of disappearances and whispers of an ancient legend make Mira question her best friend and the secrets he keeps from her- and Ominis Gaunt finds out that nothing in the town of St. Ives stays buried for long.

The woods grow hungry, and it is all Ominis can do to keep himself and the woman he loves from being brutally devoured.
