Gelişen teknoloji aslında bugüne kadar bize hep daha küçük ancak daha fonksiyonel drone'ları sunmuştu. Ancak AirMule gerek boyutları, gerek taşıma kapasitesi ve gerekse de menzili yüzünden bildiğimiz Drone'lardan çok daha farklı ve havacılık endüstrisinde devrim yaratacak niteliklere sahip. Tactical Robotics tarafından geliştirilen AirMule, 500 kg gibi oldukça büyük bir ağırlık kaldırma ve bu yükü 50 km gibi bir mesafe boyunca taşıma kapasitesine sahip.
