I like that Stone is like a representation of Ivo fallibility. Like he thought Stone wouldnt stick around... but Stone literally stuck around to the bitter bitter end. He thinks Stone is dumb.. Stones got an IQ 1 point higher than Ivos. He thinks himself undesirable to all possible genders... Stone clearly disagrees no matter how bad Ivo gets. He thought he wouldnt miss Stone if he was gone... he carved Stones face into a rock when they got separated!

Stone is a complete anomaly to him.

I guess its fitting for a man who loves himself as a defense mechanism against a world thats rejected him to fall in love with a man who loves him even more.

Cuz man Ivo seemed to even start hating himself in the end.

So thats everyone. The whole entire world. Even his grandfather the one remaining blood relative who should have loved him unconditionally. Even himself.

EXCEPT STONE. Just standing there with an adoring look and latte ready like Ivo is the ONLY thing that makes him happy.

The physical manifestation of loving one insufferable prick that no one else even LIKES is crazy..

A weird karmic cruelty for Ivo not realize until its too late. It reminds me of something that would happen in some Greek myth or some shit. Ivos only the way he is because the world was so cruel to him since he was a child and his punishment for that undue cruelty is a blindspot to the one thing hes always wanted? That probably would have prevented this violence in him? Which is just love?

GROSS.

Im obsessed.

Like Ive said Stone is the son of Anteros and hes the god of loving Ivo I guess. Thats his one job and he always excels at his job.

Oh, go on. “Do you know, how nice,” she says. “Well, I… for a start, I thought ‘bi-generation’ was a Who song. ‘Talkin’ ’bout bi-generation.’ It’s not,” she can exclusively reveal. “Bi-generation… Yup. Well,” she says, as David leans forward in anticipation, “I understand from seeing – from being – from being in the scene, it’s clearly… he’s… regenerating out of himself and becoming two.” David nods approvingly. “Because he’s regenerating… bi himself.” She roars with laughter. It was going so well. “He splits bi himself, and he’s bi himself. That’s what it means.” David has no words. Well, maybe one. “Wow,” he says.
