Still mad af over FSU collapse in the second half. People had them upsetting LSU but I didn't lol. I've previewed enough games to know they're up and down.

Latson (and Timpson) is literally the only consistent player but she can't carry it all when it comes to the tournament. The only way they were going to win or at least keep int close was dependent on if everyone showed tf up. That didn't happen. Once she sat down for some rest it was a wrap. It's easy to scout FSU because you shut down Latson then you win.

I'm a FSU fan but I want her to transfer. She said she was going to stay at FSU for her senior year but she's done all she can for the garnet and goal. And with them losing Timpson and the fact they really can't recruit, it's time to move on. Unless Brooke (coach) makes some serious personnel changes I don't see it for them. They'll have a good season, like always, but will stall in the tournament. I'm just happy they got out the first round this time. I want to see her under another system and at a better program.

My immediate reaction is I don’t think the Latson pick up is going to be that good. Now that is very likely to change depending on how they work this off season but Taniya likes lots of minutes and likes to score a lot of points. She also takes like 20 shots a game. That’s not how SC/Dawn play so I’m not sure how this will end up playing out. Either Latson will adjust and play their way or she’ll be upset at her lack of minutes/scoring opportunities and it could turn into a repeat of you know who. Also this means Milyasia won’t be starting another year I presume… I wonder what this means for her. I don’t think she should transfer but I can’t imagine she wouldn’t want to start her junior year. But also don’t listen to me guys i dont know too much.

 hey so I have a genuine question. I don’t really follow South Carolina really like I’m familiar with like some players like pao pao Or lay.

But what is the hate towards Raven Johnson? Is she not good? Is she mediocre last I heard people were hyping her up because she’s like a good facilitator or something.

I’m gonna be honest I think that a lot of the fans overdid it because it wasn’t anything that raven did herself. It was 100% fans mad that South Carolina fans felt like raven could be a round one draft pick.

Like the raven in college does not score a lot but to be honest if she’s not composed and things like that the way she plays really affects how her team plays and she’s just such a good controller of the game and her team. She’s a great defender and things like that. Obviously her offensive package is not where people think it needs to be but they’re not WNBA scouts so they don’t really know.

also, she has the ability to take out teams best and greatest point guards so again I don’t really see why people act like her impact is not felt majority of the time.

I will also say that raven at one point in high school was averaging over 20 points a game and she played with Taniya Latson so she could definitely score but her freshman year she had an ACL injury and that completely changed the way that she played.

NPOY? Yeah it’s probably going to Hannah. She’s small and averaging big numbers. Plus she led ND to most of their ranked wins (more than UCLA) so she looks like the more impressive candidate.

question, while uconn’s two loses don’t help P’s npoy chances, how does nd’s two loses (one to an unranked team) affect HH’s campaign? is it worse or does it even out since she’s averaging a lot of points (ik ppg don’t determine it, but I’ll mention it since that’s what ppl focus on)

I mean, I think something you can do is look at stats against the head to head matches so luckily for hannah she’s played both juju and Paige and she’ll end up playing Taniya Latson at some point this season obviously probably won’t play Lauren but they’ll have head to head matches to go off of

She definitely does, but does the ease of her schedule + high usage rates hurt her?

i don’t think you can say that her usage rate hurts her considering whose won the last two seasons.

but she will also be playing in the acc that has six or seven ranked teams so i think that will only solidify her case even more
